Multiple women allegedly interrupted a recent flight with screaming, singing, and even crawling over seats causing claims of demonic possession.
A three-hour flight from Houston, Texas, to Denver, Colorado, was delayed by three hours — including a stop in Dallas, Texas — after multiple women interrupted a flight, stemming from one woman’s apprehension.
Video of the incident titled “My little sister’s first experience flying by her self on Frontier” purportedly took place on a Frontier Airlines flight. It began with a woman, already being subdued by security, screaming desperately for the guards to let go of her arm.
After about a minute of the woman crying while she was taken to the front of the plane, the video cut to a man arguing with security from his seat. At the same time, the previously apprehended woman began an attempted escape to toward the back of the plane, crawling and falling over three sets of seats and passengers.
Soon thereafter, a second woman appeared toward the back of the plane and began yelling in apparent objection to the first woman who caused the alleged delay.

👩⚖️ A Dutch court on Friday ordered a man who judges said had fathered between 500 and 600 children around the world to stop donating sperm.
The 41-year-old Dutchman, identified by de Telegraaf newspaper as Jonathan Meijer, was forbidden to donate more semen to clinics, the court ruling said. He could be fined 100,000 euros ($110,000) per infraction.
The court also ordered Meijer to write to clinics abroad asking them to destroy any of his semen they have in stock, except doses reserved for parents who already had children by him.
The decision came after a civil case started by a foundation representing the interests of donor children and Dutch parents who had used Meijer as a donor.
They argued that Meijer’s continued donations violated the right to a private life of his donor children, whose ability to form romantic relationships are hampered by fears of accidental incest and inbreeding.
Meijer’s mass donations first came to light in 2017 and he was banned from donating to Dutch fertility clinics, where he had already fathered over 100 children.
However, he continued to donate abroad, including to the Danish sperm bank Cryos which operates internationally. Meijer also continued to offer himself as a donor on sites matching prospective parents with sperm donors, sometimes using a different name, according to the Algemeen Dagblad daily.
What does the Bible say about artificial insemination?
Artificial insemination is the process whereby sperm is artificially placed within a woman so as to make her pregnant. Generally, this process is used when the sperm count is not sufficient to allow pregnancy or there is some physical or psychological problem involved in sexual intercourse. Even though this process is not explicitly described in scripture, we can still derive biblical principles that apply to this subject.
Artificial insemination: A Biblical view
God intended that pregnancy occur within the bond of marriage between a man and a woman — who are married to each other. God commissioned the human race in Genesis by the proclamation that Adam and Eve were to multiply and replenish the earth. Furthermore, according to the Bible, pregnancy is to occur between the man and a woman who are married to each other. Sexual relations outside of the marriage relationship are either rape, adultery, or fornication. God condemns these as being morally wrong and thereby sinful. So, how does artificial insemination fit into this?
If the married couple is having a problem getting pregnant and artificial insemination is recommended by a doctor, then it is acceptable under the following conditions.
Only the sperm and egg of the married couple are involved.
Fertilized eggs are not intentionally lost or destroyed.
As long as both the egg and the sperm are from the same married couple, then I can see no problem with this process. After all, both the egg and the sperm belong to the married couple, and there is no intrusion of seed from outside that marriage bond. If the married couple accepts the sperm from another man (a man outside of the marriage bond with that woman), then she is inviting the intrusion of another man’s seed into herself. The artificial insemination in this case involves an adulterous occurrence.
In addition, if the process of artificial insemination involves the fertilization of many eggs with only one being implanted in the womb of the mother, this is not acceptable since the other fertilized eggs must then be discarded. This is not an acceptable option for a Christian couple since it risks destroying human life.
Christian marriage is a covenant between the husband and wife before God with people as witnesses. This covenant is taken seriously by the Lord. It should also be taken seriously by the couple. God knows all situations and circumstances and is in complete control. If a Christian couple cannot get pregnant and if the only way the wife can get pregnant is through the donation of sperm from a man outside of the marriage bond, then it is best to avoid that pregnancy. Otherwise, the couple is inviting into the woman’s body the seed of another man — which is adultery. If the couple desires to have children, they should adopt. This prevention of pregnancy could be a means by which the Lord arranges for couples to adopt, thereby, taking care of other children.
Objections answered
Some claim that using another man’s sperm to impregnate a woman is not morally wrong because there is no physical act of adultery involved and there is no intention of adultery. Also, if the husband agrees, then how could the impregnation be adulterous?
We must be very careful to not let situational ethics govern biblical principles. God has ordained that husband and wife, a married couple, be the bearers of children within that covenantal bond of marriage. Whether or not the physical act of adultery has occurred or not does not excuse the fact that the sperm of another man has entered the body of a woman to whom he is not married. Artificial insemination involving another man’s sperm violates God’s design for sex and reproduction.
A common method of sperm retrieval (masturbation with the assistance of pornography) involves a violation of the sixth commandment (Matthew 5:28; Colossians 3:5; Exodus 20:14).
Many ethical and practical issues are the same here as with surrogate parenting. A review of surrogate parenting material would be appropriate.
Sperm banks raise valid social and legal concerns re: paternal rights, the rights of children to know their parents, transmission of diseases, and a checkered past of mismanagement resulting in mistaken insemination of sperm.

Microsoft founder Bill Gates and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos have both reportedly invested in Synchron, a new brain-computer interface startup that aims to compete with companies like Elon Musk’s Neuralink.
Bloomberg reports that in March of last year, Tom Oxley, an expert in brain-computer interfaces, had dinner with Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon, to discuss Oxley’s newly established company, Synchron Inc. During the dinner, which took place in Ojai, California, Bezos expressed interest in investing in the business.
On Thursday, Synchron announced that it had completed a funding round of $75 million, with Bezos Expeditions contributing a portion of the investment. The round was led by ARCH Venture Partners and included investment from Gates Frontier, the venture capital branch of Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, as well as other investors. In addition, several previous investors, including Khosla Ventures and its founder, Vinod Khosla, who introduced Oxley to Gates, also participated in the funding round.
Brain-computer interfaces, also known as BCIs, have the potential to interpret and stimulate certain areas of the brain and are being explored as a possible treatment for brain injuries. According to Oxley in an interview, the new investors approached Synchron “through the lens of making an impact in neurology in an area of need.” Oxley estimates that approximately 100 million people worldwide have upper limb impairment and could potentially benefit from this technology.
This funding brings Synchron’s total funding to $145 million, making it one of the highest-funded companies in the brain-computer interface (BCI) space, according to research firm Pitchbook. While it may be behind companies such as Elon Musk’s Neuralink Corporation and Max Hodak’s Science Corp. in terms of fundraising, it is still far ahead of many other BCI companies. This is a significant achievement, especially considering the costly process of getting BCIs approved by the US Food and Drug Administration.
Synchron has already enrolled three patients in a U.S. trial, with two of them receiving the implant. Oxley expects the remaining patients to enroll and receive their implants in the coming months. Over the course of a year, doctors will observe these patients and report their findings to the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). In the past, the FDA granted Synchron “breakthrough” status, which streamlined the approval process for the company.

The Burden of Mental Disorders in The Arab-Muslim World
Most countries in the Eastern Mediterranean region (Arab World) have seen an increase in the burden of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia, as well as a rise in intentional injuries such as suicide, homicide, and sexual assault, from 1990 to 2015, according to 2 studies that appeared in the International Journal of Public Health.
In the first study, the international team of investigators analyzed data from the Global Burden of Diseases, Injuries, and Risk Factors Study 2015 to estimate the burden of mental disorders in The Eastern Mediterranean Region, (Arab World) which is a WHO-defined group of 22 countries comprising Afghanistan, Arab Republic of Egypt, Bahrain, Djibouti, Iraq, Islamic Republic of Iran, Jordan, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Pakistan, Palestine, Qatar, Republic of Yemen, Somalia, Sudan, Syrian Arab Republic, Tunisia, and the United Arab Emirates., and is inhabited by more than 600 million people.
Overall, Muslim countries have a higher burden of mental health disorders compared to global levels. Depression and anxiety disorders contributed most to the mental health burden. Women had a higher burden of mental disorders than men. An increasing mental health burden is mainly attributable to population growth and aging. A severe shortage of psychologists and psychiatrists in the region presents a challenge to epidemiological surveillance of mental disorders and adequate prevention and treatment services.
Methods
We used the Global Burden of Diseases, Injuries, and Risk Factors Study 2015 to examine the burden of mental disorders in the Eastern Mediterranean Region (Arab World). We defined mental disorders according to criteria proposed in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders 5 and the 10th International Classification of Diseases.
Results
Mental disorders contributed to 4.7% of total disability-adjusted life-years (DALYs), ranking as the ninth leading cause of disease burden. Depressive disorders and anxiety disorders were the third and ninth leading causes of nonfatal burden, respectively. Almost all countries in the Arab World had higher age-standardized mental disorder DALYs rates compared to the global level, and in half of the Muslim World , observed mental disorder rates exceeded the expected values.
Conclusions
The burden of mental disorders in the Arab World is higher than global levels, particularly for women. To properly address this burden, Middle East governments should implement nationwide quality epidemiological surveillance of mental disorders and provide adequate prevention and treatment services.
Depression and anxiety disorders are the most frequent mental disorders, and rates in women are up to double those in men.
Given the religious and cultural specificities of the region, factors unrelated to war also contribute to mental disorders in The Arab World. For instance, polygamy is more common in Muslim communities, and women in polygamous marriages report a higher rate of depression and psychoticism than women in monogamous marriages. This is in addition to the “first wife syndrome” seen in polygamous marriages, in which the first wife reports more anxiety, paranoid ideation, and psychoticism compared to the second and third wives. Moreover, health and social inequalities for refugees across the Arab World result in deprivation-related multi-morbidity including mental illness. Intimate partner violence is also prevalent across much of the Arab World.
Among the mental disorders both globally and in the Arab World, depressive disorders appear to be the highest contributors to nonfatal burden. Low mood, loss of motivation, and anhedonia–features typical of major depressive disorder–impact one’s ability to function in the community. The prevalence of major depressive disorder in various Muslim countries has been previously described.
Females contribute more to the burden of mental disorders across all age groups over 14 years in the Arab World. Females in general are more likely to suffer from mental disorders compared to males. Several studies have shed light on women’s increased risk of mental disorders in Muslim countries and Middle East . Conduct disorder and ADHD on the other hands are more common in males aged under 14 years in both the Arab World and globally.
Our findings show that the burden of mental disorders is highest in the high-income Arab World countries. This trend of increased mental illness with increased living standards has been described in developed countries.
Our study clearly shows that mental health is a pressing priority in the Arab Muslim World.
