A Troubling “US Open bug” is making the rounds among star athletes at this year’s tournament, resulting in shocking upsets and withdrawals as the athletes struggle to fight on the court through coughing fits and stomachaches.

“I’m a zombie because I have a flu,” Tunisian tennis star Ons Jabeur, 29, said at a news conference Thursday after defeating Linda Noskova in three sets.

The No. 5 seed was visibly unwell during the match, and was seen coughing and sometimes even struggling to reach the ball on difficult shots.

“I’m taking a lot of medicine,” the No. 5 seed admitted at the conference, adding that she “basically took every medication” the tournament doctors could offer.

Jabeur — who was upset by Zheng Qinwen of China over the weekend — is one of many players felled by the so-called “US Open bug” since the tournament opened at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on Aug. 28.

Emil Ruusuvuori, 24, of Finland, withdrew ahead of his first-round match due to an unspecified illness.

Austrian Dominic Thiem, 30, subsequently retired in the second set of his second-round match on Wednesday after collapsing onto the net with a stomach issue, the outlet reported.

Czech player Petra Kvitová, 33, also complained of stomach pains before ultimately losing to Caroline Wozniacki on Wednesday, Tennis World reported.

Also on Thursday, Polish player Hubert Hurkacz, 26, struggled on the court and was treated by medical staff before ultimately falling to Jack Draper, the New York Times reported.

During the match, sniffles, coughs and other signs of illness were heard throughout the tennis grounds, the outlet added.

ሊቀ መላእክት ቅዱስ ሩፋኤል ከከበሩት ቅዱሳን መላእክት ሦስተኛው ነው፡፡ “ከከበሩ ከሰባቱ አለቆች አንዱ አለቃ እኔ ሩፋኤል ነኝ” እንዲል /ጦቢት ፲፪፥፲፭/፡፡

ያለማቋረጥ ፈጣሪያቸውን ልዑል እግዚአብሔርን ከሚያመሰግኑ ቅዱሳን መላእክት መካከል አንዱ መልአከ ጥዒና ወሰላም /የሰላምና የጤና መልአክ/ የሚባለው ቅዱስ ሩፋኤል ነው፡፡ “ሩፋኤል” የሚለው የስሙ ትርጓሜ ደስ የሚያሰኝ፣ ቸር፣ መሐሪ፣ ቅን የዋህ ማለት ነው፡፡

የሰው ልጆች ከተያዙበት የኀጢአት ቁስል ይፈወሱ ዘንድ በአማላጅነቱና በጸሎቱ የማይለይ መልአክ ነው፡፡ “በበሽታ ኹሉ ላይ በሰው ልጆችም ቍስል ላይ የተሾመው ቅዱስ ሩፋኤል ነው” በማለት ሄኖክ ከእግዚአብሔር መልአክ ያገኘውን የምስክርነት ቃል ጽፏል /ሄኖክ ፲፥፲፫/፡፡ ቅዱስ ሩፋኤል በሰውነታችን ላይ የሚወጣውን ደዌም ኾነ ቍስል ይፈውስ ዘንድ ከልዑል እግዚአብሔር ሥልጣን ተሰጥቶታል፡፡ “በሰው ቍስል ላይ የተሾመ ከከበሩ መላእክት አንዱ ቅዱስ ሩፋኤል ነው” እንዳለ ሄኖክ /ሄኖክ ፮፥፫/፡፡

ለቈሰሉ ፈውስን የሚያሰጣቸው ለማኅፀን ችግር ኹሉ ለሴቶች ረዳታቸው ቅዱስ ሩፋኤል ነው፡፡ ሴት በፀነሰችበት ወቅት ቅዱስ ሩፋኤል አይለያትም ሕፃኑ ዐርባ ቀን ሞልቶት፣ በማኅፀን እያለ “ተሥዕሎተ መልክዕ” (በ አርአያ መልኩ መሳል) ከጀመረበት ቀን አንሥቶ እስከሚወለድበት ቀን ድረስ ቅዱስ ሩፋኤል አይለየውም፡፡ በወሊዳቸው ቀን ሴቶች ከሚደርስባቸው ጭንቀትና ሕመም ስሙን ጠርተው ይማጸኑታል፡፡ ፈታሔ ማኅፀን ነውና ቅዱስ ሩፋኤልም ጭንቀታቸውን ያቀላል፡፡

አስማንድዮስ የተባለ ጋኔን በወለተ ራጉኤል ላይ አድሮ ባሎቿን እየገደለ ቢያሰቃያት ቅዱስ ሩፋኤል ጋኔኑን አስጨንቆ አስወጥቶላታል /ጦቢት ፫፥፰-፲፯/፡፡ ቅዱስ ሩፋኤል “ዳግመኛም እግዚአብሔር ሩፋኤልን፣ አዛዝኤልን እጁን እግሩን አስረህ በጨለማ ውስጥ ጣለው አለው” ተብሎ እንደ ተጻፈ /ሄኖክ ፫፥፭-፯/ ለቃየን ልጆች ሰይፍና ሾተል መሥራትን፣ የምንዝር ጌጥ ማጌጥን፣ መቀንደብን ያስተማረ አዛዝኤል የተባለውን ጋኔን በእሳት ሰይፍ እየቀጣ በረቂቅ አስሮ ወደ ጥልቁ የጣለው ይኸው መልአክ ቅዱስ ሩፋኤል ነው /ሄኖክ ፪፥፲፰/፡፡
