In the wake of the covid pandemic lockdowns and mandates, many western nations and states in the US witnessed a new eye opening level of government intrusion into the daily lives of citizens. Some, however, dealt with worse scenarios than others.
New Zealand in particular has popped up time and time again over the past couple of years with some of the most draconian restrictions on the public, and sadly the trend has not stopped just because the pandemic lockdowns stopped. The island nation seems to be intent on setting the standard for authoritarian policies and government micromanagement, and a series of recent laws are driving home the reality that they do not intend to relent.
Flashback: In 2018, New Zealand banned all offshore oil drilling exploration in the name of instituting a “carbon neutral future”, meaning tight energy restrictions are forthcoming in NZ as the decade progresses.
In 2019, NZ banned all semi-automatic weapons after the Christchurch mosque shootings, punishing millions of law abiding citizens for the crimes of one man. Video evidence of the Christchurch shootings is suspiciously illegal in NZ, and anyone caught viewing or downloading the event can be prosecuted. The gun bans were enforced just in time for the pandemic lockdowns.
In 2020, the government introduced internet censorship legislation which would give them the power to selectively filter “dangerous content.” Most of the provisions were ultimately scrapped after a public backlash, but future censorship remains a priority for the government.
In 2021, New Zealand Prime Minister and associate of the World Economic Forum, Jacinda Ardern, openly admitted to constructing a two tier society in which the vaccinated enjoy normal access to the economy, travel and social interaction while the unvaccinated would be deliberately choked with restrictions until they “chose” to comply and accept the mRNA jab.
It should be noted that the Ardern and the New Zealand government were made aware on multiple occasions in 2021 by medical professionals of the risks of Myocarditis for people 30 years old and under associated with the vaccines. They ignored the warnings and pushed forward with mass vaccination campaigns anyway, including attempts to introduce vaccine passports.
This was not necessarily unique, though, as many western countries made similar dismissals of vaccine concerns and tried to promote passports. That said, New Zealand was one of the few in the west that built actual covid camps designed to incarcerate people with the virus in forced quarantine. The camps, referred to as “compulsory quarantine facilities”, were administrated by the NZ military, leaving no doubt that these were prisons rather than resorts.
The Primer Minister was finally forced to scrap a large number of covid mandates last year as evidence mounted that lockdowns and masks were mostly useless in preventing the spread of the virus, and that the vaccines do not necessarily stop covid contraction and transmission. The fact that the vaccinated now make up the majority of covid deaths is proof enough that the vaccines do not function as officials originally promised. The process of centralizing power has not stopped, though – The tactics have simply changed.
NZ has introduced a multitude of oppressive laws post-covid that add up to a freedom suffocating atmosphere for the public.
In November, the government implemented a law which forces large financial institutions to disclose climate related risks associated with their investments. The implications are far reaching, and ostensibly this puts pressure on banks and lenders to avoid financing businesses that are a “carbon emissions risk.” Meaning, if you want a loan from a bank and the government determines you are a “carbon polluter,” then you likely will not get the loan. This could include anything from large manufacturers to dairy farms.
Speaking of farms, NZ has banned the use of caged chicken farming across the country, creating a massive egg shortage which has led to high prices (This is taking place coincidentally right after the US government culled over 50 million chickens in 2022 due to “avian flu”, also causing high prices in America).
Feeling stressed about this mess and want to smoke a cigarette? Those are getting banned in NZ, too. In an unprecedented move, the government has passed a law which blocks any person under the age of 18 as of 2023 from buying cigarettes for their entire lives. Meaning, cigarettes will be slowly phased out as the younger generation grows older. Are cigarettes a health risk? Yes. But, governments claim that costs to socialized medicine give them a rationale to control people’s personal habits. Today it’s cigarettes; tomorrow it could be anything bureaucrats deem unhealthy regardless of actual science.
And that brings us to NZ’s latest authoritarian measure, the Therapeutic Products Bill, which if passed will give the government far reaching authority to manage and restrict the manufacture or sale of natural health supplements. Want to avoid big pharma and their untested products by taking care of your own body? You’re not allowed. Alternatives will be erased leaving only drugs and jabs.
This is not only the end result of the western fall into socialism, New Zealand seems to represent a test case for increasing violations of individual liberties and individual choice. New Zealand could yield a vision of the future for many other nations should western populations respond passively.
💭 Klaus Schwab has followed George Soros in suddenly pulling out of the World Economic Forum annual summit in Davos, being held from today until January 20.
Citing an unexpected “scheduling conflict”, Soros announced on the weekend that he would not be attending the WEF meeting on Monday.
For his part, Schwab announced he is suffering an unspecified “health complaint” and is not expecting to be able to attend the Davos summit.
The unexpected announcements by the two globalist kingpins has set tongues wagging, with many Davos attendees said to be concerned about what is really happening behind the scenes.
Kim Dotcom cited a news report previously published by Newspunch to suggest the elites are running scared.
However, Soros and Schwab’s absences have not stopped the rank and file of the elite from swarming into the globalist headquarters in the Swiss town to participate in the annual summit.
Hundreds of globalist elites landed in private jets in the last few days in airports around Davos to discuss so-called global challenges, such as climate change, behind closed doors.
“The rich and powerful are swarming to Davos to discuss climate and inequality behind closed doors using the most unequal and polluting form of transport: private jets,” Klara Maria Schenk, transport campaigner for Greenpeace’s European mobility campaign, told news website Politics.co.uk.
Greenpeace published a new report that showed 1,040 private jets flew in and out of airports around Davos for last year’s meeting, causing CO2 emissions from private jets to increase four times more versus a weekly average.

The globalist elites and their private jets are now landing in Davos, Switzerland, for yet another World Economic Forum (WEF) built on a week of fine dining and billionaire back slapping in luxurious surrounds – with a few meetings in between.
As they do they’re drawing contempt for their hypocrisy as elsewhere mere mortals are hectored to stop their own use of regular commercial air travel in the name of saving the planet.
More than a thousand private jets delivered dignitaries to last year’s summit in the plush Swiss holiday resort, a Greenpeace study revealed on Friday, and the sheer volume of flights generated four times the carbon dioxide emissions such aircraft would create in an average week, according to the report.
Greenpeace released the analysis, conducted by Dutch consultancy CE Delft, ahead of this year’s round of moneyed self-congratulation which begins tomorrow.
“Europe is experiencing the warmest January days ever recorded and communities around the world are grappling with extreme weather events supercharged by the climate crisis,” Klara Maria Schenk, transport campaigner for Greenpeace in Europe, said in a statement.
“Meanwhile, the rich and powerful flock to Davos in ultra-polluting, socially inequitable private jets to discuss climate and inequality behind closed doors,” Schenk added, noting the WEF has long warned of impending doom because of the “world-wide disaster” of climate threats.
Of all the 1,040 private jets studied, 53 percent were for short-haul trips less than 466 miles, while 38 percent were under 311 miles, according to the report.
Greenpeace accused attendees of “ecological hypocrisy” before asking just why the WEF claims it is committed to the global goal of keeping warming below 1.5 degrees Celsius (2.7 degrees Fahrenheit) when the emissions generated from all the private jets flying in and out of airports serving Davos last year were equivalent to those produced by about 350,000 average cars for a week.
Not that this is the first time the privileged Davos members have been accused of hypocrisy, demanding others change their ways while they board their luxury private jet transport.
The 2023 WEF meeting has a self-proclaimed goal of tackling the climate emergency and other “ongoing crises” and has called for “bold collective action.”
Private jet flights are not regulated in the E.U., but they are the most polluting mode of transport per passenger kilometre.
The French government has already banned short haul commercial flights where “green alternatives ” are available and New Zealand may follow soon.
Peru’s president Pedro Castillo was ousted by congress after he announced the immediate dissolution of the governing body.
Castillo was criticized for saying he would install a ‘government of exception’ to rule by decree hours before he was due to face an impeachment vote. He was accused of trying to seize power in a self-coup. MPs moved ahead with the trial, with 101 votes in favor of removing him, six against and 10 abstentions.

Dina Ercilia Boluarte has been sworn in as Peru’s first female president. Police arrested former President Pedro Castillo earlier after he tried to dissolve congress in an action the constitutional tribunal described as a coup. Boluarte was his vice president.

Maajid Nawaz told Rogan the World Economic Forum has openly put its members in leadership roles to steer world governments toward ‘more and more authoritarianism.’
In a three-hour interview that was released on Saturday, Nawaz, the founding chairman of Quilliam, a think tank designed to confront Islamist extremism, told Rogan that the WEF has installed its members in national leadership roles around the world to further the organization’s sprawling authoritarian agenda.
Explaining that government leaders worldwide have begun lifting COVID-19 mandates and restrictions while leaving in place an apparatus of digital tracking and identification which forms the embryonic stages of a digital social credit score, Nawaz said that the WEF under Klaus Schwab has worked on “embedding people in government who are subscribed to” the Great Reset agenda.
“That’s what they say themselves,” Nawaz said, pointing out that the so-called Great Reset, whose advocates have famously asserted that by 2030 people will “own nothing and be happy,” is explained in detail on the WEF’s website.
In a 2020 book entitled “Covid-19: The Great Reset,” Schwab openly argued that the COVID-19 response should be used to “revamp all aspects of our societies and economies, from education to social contracts and working conditions.”
Nawaz went on to point out that in 2017 Schwab said the WEF’s “young global leaders” would “penetrate” the cabinets of world leaders.
Members of the WEF’s Forum of Young Global Leaders have included Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, French President Emmanuel Macron, former U.K. Prime Minister Tony Blair, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, among many others.
Nawaz pointed out that Blair had tried to implement an ID system during the Iraq war, and is now openly moving to implement digital IDs in the post-COVID era.
The WEF has clearly articulated its interest in pursuing a global digital ID system.
“So this is going to be this never-ending process to slowly move the goal-posts,” Rogan surmised.
“Towards more and more authoritarianism,” Nawaz added. “Checkpoint society. It’s all there. They’ve told us this.”

There isn’t one single great narrative in Klaus Schwab and Thierry Malleret’s book, “The Great Narrative.”
Instead, there are a series of five interconnecting narratives surrounding technology, society, economy, geopolitics/governments, and ecology/climate change.
These narratives are geared towards manipulating human behavior through pride, fear, shame, guilt, and greed in order to coerce private citizens (while incentivizing governments and corporations) into accepting the unelected globalists’ agenda for a great reset of society and the global economy.

First came the great reset launch in June, 2020, which called for new social contracts, stronger governments, and a different form of capitalism that would make stakeholders richer and more powerful while people like you and I would own nothing and be powerless.
Now comes the great narrative for humankind, which is an attempt to legitimize the unelected globalists’ technocratic agenda for a great reset of society and the global economy, and they can do this without ever having to reference any real-world data to back it up.
Why?
Because, “In the battle for hearts and minds of human beings, narrative will consistently outperform data in its ability to influence human thinking and motivate human action,” according to the WEF’s own blog post from 2015, which adds, “A good narrative soundly beats even the best data.”

But what is a great narrative?
The idea of a great narrative is something that the French philosopher Jean-Francois Lyotard called a “grand narrative,” (aka “metanarrative“) which, according to Philo-Notes, “functions to legitimize power, authority, and social customs” — everything that the great reset is trying to achieve.

Marxism creates “a society in which all individuals can develop their talents to the fullest” is one example of a grand narrative.

In the broadest possible sense of which word? Change? Micro? Selflessness? Accept? Macro?

To change oneself at the micro level can mean many things, such as changing your mind, beliefs, attitude, behaviors, and values, etc.
One the other hand, it can also mean changing who you are at the biological and physical level through synthetic biology and devices connected the Internet of Bodies (IoB) through technologies emerging from the so-called fourth industrial revolution.
