Massive Fire at Latvia Factory of US Drone Supplier to Ukraine

🔥 A fire broke out Tuesday at a US drone factory in Latvia that has built drones for Ukraine’s military and NATO allies.

Two dozen police cars, nine fire engines and five ambulances deployed to the scene of the fire at the factory run by US firm Edge Autonomy on the outskirts of Latvia’s capital, Riga.

The cause of the blaze was not known but two people were taken to hospital, Latvia’s emergency services tweeted, adding a third person was receiving treatment at the facility site.

“A high-risk fire has occurred in the production building, sparking a lot of smoke,” the fire service said on Twitter, urging local residents to keep their doors and windows closed.

Hours after some 50 firefighters were dispatched to the scene rescue services reported the blaze was under control as police launched an investigation into the incident.

The California-based company produces long-range unmanned aircraft for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions, according to its website.

Amazing Prediction from 2016 Involving Russia, Syria, and a Falling Space Station

Posted by addisethiopia / አዲስ ኢትዮጵያ on April 9, 2018

My Note: This prediction fits in with what I was reading today on Prophecies in the Ethiopian Bible;

[2 Esdras 6]

1 Woe be unto thee, Babylon, and Asia! woe be unto thee, Egypt and Syria!
2 Gird up yourselves with cloths of sack and hair, bewail your children, and be sorry; for your destruction is at hand.
3 A sword is sent upon you, and who may turn it back?
4 A fire is sent among you, and who may quench it?
5 Plagues are sent unto you, and what is he that may drive them away?
6 May any man drive away an hungry lion in the wood? or may any one quench the fire in stubble, when it hath begun to burn?
7 May one turn again the arrow that is shot of a strong archer?
8 The mighty Lord sendeth the plagues and who is he that can drive them away?
9 A fire shall go forth from his wrath, and who is he that may quench it?
10 He shall cast lightnings, and who shall not fear? he shall thunder, and who shall not be afraid?
11 The Lord shall threaten, and who shall not be utterly beaten to powder at his presence?
12 The earth quaketh, and the foundations thereof; the sea ariseth up with waves from the deep, and the waves of it are troubled, and the fishes thereof also, before the Lord, and before the glory of his power:
13 For strong is his right hand that bendeth the bow, his arrows that he shooteth are sharp, and shall not miss, when they begin to be shot into the ends of the world. NUCLEAR MISSILES???
14 Behold, the plagues are sent, and shall not return again, until they come upon the earth.
15 The fire is kindled, and shall not be put out, till it consume the foundation of the earth.
16 Like as an arrow which is shot of a mighty archer returneth not backward: even so the plagues that shall be sent upon earth shall not return again.
17 Woe is me! woe is me! who will deliver me in those days?
18 The beginning of sorrows and great mournings; the beginning of famine and great death; the beginning of wars, and the powers shall stand in fear; the beginning of evils! what shall I do when these evils shall come?
19 Behold, famine and plague, tribulation and anguish, are sent as scourges for amendment.
20 But for all these things they shall not turn from their wickedness, nor be always mindful of the scourges.

The following prediction was posted on this forum

Anonymous 11/04/16(Fri)22:39:54 No. 18302615 Board /x/ – Paranormal >>18298820 (OP) #

I don’t normally comment on x, just lurk most of the time, but i saw this thread and figured why the fuck not I’ll post.

I had 3 different events, might have to post them separately, might not post all of them if i get tired of typing, i suck at green-text btw so I’ll just type it out.

The first event i had was when i was a kiddo, although i didn’t realize it until i was older, but my parents and schoolteachers did.

Before 9/11 i was always (ALWAYS) drawing cities, and would put the twin towers in them burning, although i was like 4 at the time and i had never even seen them or heard of them, i did this in my agenda notebook, on the desk, on paper at home, all the time, nobody thought anything of it until 9/11 happened and then everyone was very quiet around me, they would try to be really nice to me, they wanted me to draw something other than burning towers, they never told me what, they just told me to draw whatever i wanted, don’t really remember much beyond that though.

Fast forward about a decade and a half, i find my old agenda notebooks in the closet, and see 9/11 scribbles all over them from time periods far before 9/11, i finally went and asked my parents about it and they were extremely squirmy on the subject, but finally they had told me that i was drawing all of this before 9/11 and that they were hoping i would just forget, they had told me that my mother apparently predicted a bunch of plane crashes between the 60’s and the 80’s to excruciating detail (down to the exact locations they would hit) although she lost this ability when i was born.

Apparently my grandmother and my great grandmother had the same ability to varying other degrees, it’s really made me question a lot of shit ever since though, to the extent that i seriously worry about my own thoughts.

Story #2

Significantly after this, but before re-discovering this weird life event of mine, i had another incident take place.

I had the day off and had gone to sleep, although once i had awoken in my dream i didn’t realize i was asleep.

I lived out day after day, week after week, month after month in this dream that i didn’t even know was a dream, however it was not a good one.

Eventually at some distant future point the space station was de-orbited, i do not know if this was intentional, or if it was normal orbital decay, or if it was even the ISS and not just one of the Chinese stations, however, shortly after this there was a limited nuclear exchange in which 36 nuclear weapons were detonated in the Texas gulf region, i am unsure what happened with the rest of the country though but i imagine it was catastrophic, services never came back.

Shortly after this came airstrikes, no idea from who, it honestly looked like some variant of Su-30 Russian plane, only a few however before those too eventually stopped.

About a week after this it got horrific, there were a bunch of anvil clouds that seemingly developed out of nowhere and large spacecraft were seen in them, not emerging independence day style, but as if the cloud itself was some kind of portal and these ships were sort of halfway loitering halfway in/out of the portal, the ships were large angular brick shaped, but had no real texture to speak of, they were a sort of solid stone/slate gray, and just sat there.

We never saw anything come out of them, all we remembered were screams, from everywhere, and these monsters that would peel the skin from children and parents and wear their skin, and they were capable of perfectly imitating the voices of the people whose skin they took, they did this to lure people out of their hiding spots and take them, killing yourself to escape them would not work, they could reanimate the dead (part 2 after this)

Part 2 of the last story:

If you killed yourself to escape, it wouldn’t work, they could reanimate the dead and keep you on some sort of life support for the sake of experimentation, i don’t know why or how but somehow i knew that if they took you that you were theirs forever, there was no escape.

However they also had large facilities on the earth, they looked like normal warehouses but the ones who wore people’s skin were inside these, they would liquefy humans in here and keep them in devices that looked similar to dryers, and each liquified human was kept in their own, and we had a hand scanner we could use to find where our person’s remains were so we could steal them so that they couldn’t re-constitute their remains and make them suffer, somehow we could reconstruct the entire person back to what they were with this liquid.

However the ones who wore people’s skin had these large pools ringed with symbols that looked similar to zoroastrian dakhmas ( i don’t know the spelling) and they would fill these pools with the people’s liquefied remains and bathe in them, and their children would bathe in them and drink them, and they would try throwing people in and if you fell in then you were one of them.

This went on until most of the human race had been wiped out, i do not remember most of what happened as this was a single dream spanning almost 72 years, eventually though their spacecraft were destroyed, most of the life on earth was destroyed, it had become a large desert, i remember there were still alligators though, and whatever had transpired had killed the sun, it was slowly dying, as if perhaps they had siphoned energy from it to escape, i don’t know if anyone intervened on our behalf but i think someone did, but i remember i was walking with a girl in a blue dress, she was my wife (i don’t have a wife in real life mind you) Part 3 after this:

But anyways me and my wife in the blue dress were walking down the road, there was a small ditch on the left side, with a few alligators in it, and a line of trees on the other following the ditch, we were walking home, and there were bits of these spacecraft everywhere, the sun looked like it was setting but it wasn’t (damaged or something as i stated in previous post) But we finally got home it was getting close to nighttime.

I then remember her whispering to me very quietly, “we need to be quiet and turn all the lights off or they’ll see us”, we did this, and saw lights on the horizon slowly blinking out one by one by one, i don’t know if the lights were really close enough or not, but i could swear i heard distant screaming, like there was a reason their lights were going off, as though even in our victory we were still being hunted, i do not know what our enemy was, we all just called it “Them”

I woke up after this, and realized i had been asleep for almost 14 hours, (normally i sleep 7 and a half) and that this 72 years of mine had all somehow been a complex fabrication of my imagination.

However, every single event leading up to this has happened so far again, every single last one, and i fear that either i am once again in the long dream, or that it has become reality this time, and we are about to see tribulation.

All of this sounds ridiculous to believe whatsoever i know, i still have 2 other stories about similar events to this if you’re interested.

Russian invasion of Crimea, Iraq falling apart and returning to a fractured state, Syrian intervention.

The next things to come along are that the rest of the middle east falls apart, not just what we’re already seeing but jordan, lebanon, saudi arabia, iran, pretty much everything except israel, eventually a space station (no idea which one or when/how) will de-orbit, a war between Russia and the U.S. is going to kick off, it’s inevitable, Russia is going to invade up through Mexico, the red line is how far into the U.S. they end up advancing due to aid from the native Mexican population initiating an insurrection due to increased nationalism, and a weak quasi-breakup of the U.S. following a civil war. the green circle is a flashpoint where Russia didn’t invade at first, they stayed on one side of the ship channel until finally attempting to cross it and that’s when things go nuclear, 36 nuclear weapons are exhanged in and around the green circle, i have no idea how many are exchanged elsewhere as that is the last time we have internet or TV ever again, many other electronic devices and vehicles still worked however, mostly older ones though and for some reason as i said the hand held scanner for finding humans worked.

Green circle: Texas, Houston towards east about 100 miles diameter on the golf:

[link to img.4plebs.org (secure)]

Russia does a few more strikes with aircraft that i assume were hardened against the initial nuclear exchange, although they very quickly stopped as i imagine they likely ran out of fuel or somesuch other reason, very soon after this is when the ships arrived.

They are able to reanimate the bodies if they’re fresh, i don’t think they can if they’ve been dead for a long time or in the ground for a while, but i think there’s about a 1 week window that they still can.

I wouldn’t advise killing yourself though obviously.

I’m not sure what they looked like, they were always wearing human skin when i saw them, although it was sort of loose and they would walk upright like humans, but they could run faster than any human, and even faster on all 4’s, even the child sized ones were stronger than any human, there was no way to kill any of them either, i don’t mean that figuratively, i mean literally in my entire time i had not seen a single one die.

They had a weird sort of glow to them though, like you could see under the skin where they had glowing machinery or augmented bodyparts or something that were part of them, and some of them the heads didn’t look right because you could see the human’s skin on them but you could see 4 or 5 glowing white eyes under the skin.

the only way to survive was either run, which wasn’t advisable because they WILL catch you on foot, or hide until they leave, but even that wasn’t too good because they were extremely quiet and would just sit there and wait outside of doors silently until people open them and then they would take them, the only people who really survived were the ones who had already gotten to the middle of nowhere when the nuclear war went down, or those who had basically given away their own as bait to lure them away while they escaped.

I would not doubt for a second that by the end of the 72 years there were probably only a few hundred thousand people left on earth, if even that many.

It’s not a metaphor, and i don’t have much of a timeline, as i told you it was like 72 years in my dream, and i was a lot younger when i had this, at the time i had thought it was just a really elaborate nightmare until stuff actually started happening.

i think you’re pretty good until the rest of the middle east falls apart though, I’ve been trying to save up enough money to just GTFO to the middle of nowhere though desu, but there’s not really any job opportunities out there i imagine as there are here so..

It should really escalate once one of the space stations come down though, maybe the ISS? since i doubt anyone would really be too upset about the Chinese one coming down.

My scanner isn’t working so i can’t upload anything i’ve drawn about this stuff without it being shit-tier quality but from what i can tell, their technology is compartmentalized, as in they have several tiers/hierarchies of technology, whether this is due to them being an amalgam of civilizations or not is unknown to me, but i think it might be a similar reason to just not wanting us to get their technology, i’m pretty sure the hand scanner was theirs, but i was based off existing human technology, or maybe human technology was based off of it? i’m not sure.

Most of their other stuff was absolutely useless to us though, there was no way for us to use it, somehow with these portals being open they were siphoning some kind of energy that powered the ships completely different from electricity, although I’m not sure they even needed the portals tbqh.

without this energy the pieces of their ships were literally nothing more than useless common metals/alloys, they somehow underwent some kind of rapid breakdown without the energy source, i don’t remember how the portals closed or how the ships were destroyed, i was in the middle of nowhere at the time, i’m almost certain (90% anyways) that they’re some kind of scavenger civilization, they wait for civilizations to wipe themselves out and then it’s like it’s some kind of cosmic law that for the most part everyone is allowed to pick through the remains, which i think is what happened after the nuclear war, and i think someone didn’t like this and kicked them out, but not before they damaged the sun as a final “Fuck you” to humans and whoever helped them.

As i said though it was not fun, there was something left behind, i don’t think it was ‘them’ though, i think it was something else, it was something in the long dark that would eat people, they didn’t glow and i never saw them, i just knew not to ever show any light at nighttime ever, and when it was night we slept underground We slept underground under the house in case the things in the dark came inside and found us, i think they were little more than animals, maybe something ‘they’ left behind, but i don’t know.

I don’t even know if the long dark was permanent or not, as that’s when the dream ended, the sun was dying, it was also possible in addition to this that it was nighttime as it was that the sun had died or that ‘they’ had moved an object in front of it to obfuscate the earth, or maybe it was residual atmospheric debris from the nuclear war and everything else that had happened, i know for a fact that something did happen to the sun though so it could’ve been a compounded mixture of these events.

In addition to this, i remember one time during this dream ( a different occasion) where i had gotten onto one of the ships somehow, and i saw what happened to the people who were taken, they were intubated in their back and varying bodyparts, not too much unlike the matrix, however there were far more cables and other mechanisms that i have no idea what they were, but if you died then these devices let them bring you back, and most of the people attatched to these devices were spliced open with organs showing or missing entire pieces of their bodies, there were a few people who weren’t much more than heads with gore sticking out of the bottom, but they were still intubated and kept alive and mostly just screamed, the inside of the ships was the same slate grayish color but there were colors made of energy, perhaps as electronic interface panels of some sort but probably not, it wasn’t pretty colors though, just varying shades of white/yellow/light light blue-ish.

it was very basic too, none of that H.R. geiger alien style, the ships were very utilitarian in design on the inside, everything served a purpose and only that purpose, no decoration whatsoever.

In addition to all of this, i say Mexican uprising, what i mean is that the Mexico aligned with Russia and most of south America/central America, so this coupled with Russia allowed for a fairly robust invasion, the U.S. had been weakened substantially already as i said due to the internal civil war, whether it is related to this election or not though I’m not sure, under normal circumstances i doubt they would be able to pull off an invasion though so we must’ve been fairly weakened, i know the white house and the capitol was taken by the people’s revolutionary force (shit name but that’s what they called themselves or had grown to be called anyways), so for the most part the government had already been decapitated before the invasion.

we had literally walked inside and my dad was laying on the floor watching tv and had said “well i guess we just started world war 3” and not 20 seconds after that the first flash went off outside near what would probably be the Pasadena area of Houston, followed by the large area of petro-chemical plants on the other side of the ship channel, they looked to be fairly low yield (10-20kt range) as though they were specifically trying to target smaller areas but i don’t know, we got the shockwave where i was and our windows were blown out but the building was still in tact with little damage.

I had never said they were glowing green under their skin, i don’t think i did, they were glowing the same as their ships as a sort of white/yellowy-blue-ish color, i don’t have a word for it but it wasn’t an earth color, i speculate on the machinery but there were bits and pieces poking out through the skin and holes in the skin due to some people’s skin going necrotic, the machinery under the skin looked like a very similar stone gray as their ships, the skin was pretty contorted on their bodies in some cases though (as i said multiple eyes covered by the skin sometimes) or others where the skin didn’t exactly fit them right, they still had mouths though but i don’t think it was for eating, i think perhaps it helped them grab onto people or for the express purpose of killing or subduing them, i don’t even know if they were technically alive or if they themselves were just biological machines, some of them really seemed like they wanted the skin as trophies more than anything though, they collected it and some of them were wearing multiple layers, and as i said i have no idea whatsoever as to why they would liquefy the people and put them in the dryer machines in the warehouses, surely they had some purpose but i don’t know, it could just be as simple as storage or perhaps some religious purpose of theirs, they seemed to have some interest in Zoroastrianism as i said.

I don’t know how even a breakaway civilization could fight them though, from my understanding they were possibly the first intelligent species ever throughout all dimensions, or one of the first anyways, i can’t imagine anyone from this planet could even fathom a way to fight them, it would’ve had to have been someone else out there on their technological level.

I never said the space station breaking up was going to be a fucking cataclysmic event, i meant that it is a marker point in history, one particular event that i remember that had occurred shortly before all of this, a deja-vu moment sort of thing where it’s like “oh well this happens so now that happens”

It’s mostly a gradual simmer, it’s going to keep escalating more and more and people won’t even be aware of it until shit hits the fan, a few might anyways, but it’ll just slowly escalate without anyone ‘really’ taking too much notice of it.

Just be in the middle of nowhere when it happens and have the ability to turn all your lights and electronics off, no generators, nothing, they can find you if any of your lights or electronics are on, no watches, no cellphones, nothing, and sleep underground, don’t go out at night.

I’m not posting here anymore that’s it, someone knows me here and idk who it is.

Are Muslim Countries More Violent?

Posted by addisethiopia / አዲስ ኢትዮጵያ on May 21, 2016

Matthew7

Most recent civil wars have taken place in Muslim countries, and a large majority of the victims are Muslims. This is not a “clash of civilizations.” It is a battle within the Muslim world.

Interstate wars — wars between nations — are now rare, and civil wars are now largely concentrated in an arc from Central Africa to the Caucasus. As you can see in the map below, in most of the countries in this conflict zone, Muslims are in a majority. Smaller armed conflicts occur in 30-odd countries more widely spread over the globe.

War and civil war have decreased — leaving, primarily, fighting in Muslim countries

As the Human Security Report and books by Joshua Goldsteinand Steven Pinker have compellingly argued, war around the world has been declining, both within and between countries. There’s been a recent uptick in violence, particularly in Syria, but the violence in Syria doesn’t match what we saw in Korea and Vietnam.

The remaining civil wars — which scholars define as armed conflicts that claim more than 1,000 battle deaths in a calendar year — are fewer in number but more concentrated geographically, as we show in a recent article in Research & Politics. Although armed violence has been declining overall since the end of the Cold War, violence has spiked since 2011 — particularly in Muslim countries.

In 2012, there were six civil wars worldwide. All took place within Muslim countries: Afghanistan, Pakistan, Sudan, Somalia, Syria and Yemen. Of the nine rebel groups in these conflicts, seven had an Islamist ideology.

While 2012 was an extreme year, a large majority of all civil wars in the past decade have taken place in Muslim-majority countries. That’s recent. It wasn’t true during the Cold War, when Muslim countries were no more likely to host civil wars than other nations.

But since the Berlin Wall came down in 1989, civil wars have declined sharply in most parts of the globe — although less so in Muslim countries. Many of the civil wars that ended after the end of the Cold War were stimulated by rivalry between the two superpowers.

And so even though civil wars among Muslims have increased in the past few years, the decline of other types of conflict is the main reason why the global map of conflict is increasingly influenced by Islamist insurgencies and civil wars in Muslim countries.

Muslims are mainly fighting one another, not the West

While attacks on non-Muslims understandably get more Western media attention, the vast majority of Islamist insurgencies are fighting governments in Muslim-majority countries. In fact, over the past three years, more than 90 percent of the victims in all civil wars are in Muslim countries — particularly in Syria, but also in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Even if the civil war in Syria were to end tomorrow, the victims of civil war would overwhelmingly be found in Muslim countries — even though Muslims make up a little less than a quarter of the world’s population.

The picture is almost equally grim if we look at other forms of violence. Since the Cold War, Muslim countries have hosted more than their share of the world’s interstate wars, genocides, political killings of unorganized civilians, conflicts among groups and factions that don’t involve a government, government political terror and the death penalty. Countries with Buddhist-, Hindu- and Jewish-majority populations also see more than their share of several of these kinds of violence. But these are majority religions in fewer countries, and their conflicts are generally smaller. Accordingly, they account for much less of the globe’s violence.

Both Islam and Christianity are proselytizing religions, and many have suggested that as a result, Christians and Muslims may clash. But what we’re seeing is mainly a series of serious conflicts within the Islamic region, although they have ripple effects in other countries.

Only a minority of the world’s Muslims are living amid civil wars

Let’s be clear: Not all of the world’s Muslims live in countries with civil war. In fact, most of them do not. Among the 10 countries with the largest Muslim populations, only three — Pakistan, Nigeria and Iraq — saw civil war in 2014. (That’s the last year for which the Uppsala Conflict Data Program has data.)

The other seven — including Indonesia, India, Bangladesh and Egypt, four of the five countries with the world’s largest Muslim populations — haven’t faced civil war for a decade or more. They may not necessarily be peaceful — certainly countries such as India and Egypt have seen their share of turmoil that has turned violent at times — but that violence hasn’t been sufficiently severe to be defined as a civil war, an armed conflict with at least 1,000 battle-related deaths in a calendar year.

Why are we seeing so much violence among Muslims?

With the world’s conflicts steadily becoming fewer and less bloody, why is the Muslim world lagging behind? Potential explanations abound. Here are a few.

First, most of these countries continue to struggle with the arbitrary borders imposed during and after the colonial era. Territorial conflicts often take a long time to resolve. A second possible reason is the Middle East’s strategic importance — both because of its location between East and West and its abundant oil wealth, which invites major powers to get involved, for good or ill. Over the past 15 years, several military interventions replaced relatively stable dictatorships with unstable semi-democracies where civil war still rages. The Arab Spring, which was at first a nonviolent popular uprising, wasn’t successful in toppling Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, leading to the chaos and humanitarian disaster we see today.

Some critics of Islam say that it is innately more violent than other religions. But all religions include elements of violence as well as peace. What varies over time is how prominent people — both religious and political — emphasize different parts of the message.

[Many observers note that Muslim countries score lower than average on political development, notably the status of women. And except for oil wealth, most Muslim countries are doing poorly on economic and social development as well. Several studies have shown that, after correcting for these factors, Muslim countries are no more violent than others.

But should we control for something that may conceivably be part of the explanation? If the religion is influencing development, then we cannot control for the level of development in an analysis of the effects of that religion. The research puzzle becomes how to assess the net effect of religion — on development as well as on violence.

Whatever the reasons, it’s useful to keep in mind that while there is an understandable fear of Islamist terrorism in Europe, terrorists have found the vast majority of their victims closer to home. The violence now roiling many Muslim countries warrants serious political concern.

FoxNews Contributor: Europe Doesn’t Have a Migrant Situation, It Has a Muslim Invasion

Posted by addisethiopia / አዲስ ኢትዮጵያ on October 10, 2015

BILL O’REILLY (HOST): Vienna, Salzburg and Berlin. Those three cities are now experiencing the migrant invasion from Syria and other countries in North Africa and the Middle East. What did you see?

MONICA CROWLEY: These are pictures that I took at the main train station in Vienna, which is the main waystation on the way to Germany for all of these refugees, very few of whom are actually staying in Austria, they’re all moving on to Germany. What I saw, Bill, is not a migrant crisis. This is an invasion. Are there some folks who are trying to flee war and persecution in Syria? Probably. But what I saw backs up the stats, which is that 80 percent of the people coming into central Europe are fighting-age males. They are men between the ages of 18 and 45. I saw very few women and very few children.

O’REILLY: Really, and in all three depots?

CROWLEY: Yes.

O’REILLY: Now, why are they going to Germany? I mean, Austria is a nice country, why wouldn’t they stay in Vienna?

CROWLEY: Austria is beautiful, but Angela Merkel, the German chancellor, threw wide open the doors to these — to these so-called refugees, and said you’re more than welcome in Germany.

O’REILLY: All right, so this — and they need workers in Germany because the population is aging, and that’s one of the reasons why Merkel did what she did. Was it out of control there, when you were there?

CROWLEY: When I was in Vienna they had it pretty well organized. It wasn’t a chaotic scene of the kinds we’ve seen before, because they have it pretty well under control. But upwards of 10,000 to 12,000 of these Muslims are coming in to the Vienna train station every single day, Bill. They have no intention of assimilating. I talked to a number of folks who were volunteers, International Red Cross people on the ground trying to help them. What they have said is that there’s a security problem now in these communities where these camps are and where these transit points are. These men are carrying weapons, they’re bringing weapons into the country, mostly knives. But they’re threatening to people who are trying to help them. There’s a security issue in terms of rapes happening there, child abuse, theft. So they’ve upped the military and police presence. But the Germans and Austrians I talked to who are close, who live close to these areas, are saying now our personal security is being threatened. Our wives can’t walk alone at night. We can’t send our kids on the buses to school because these roving gangs are moving all around.

O’REILLY: All right, thank you, Monica.

CROWLEY: It’s a very serious situation, and it is an invasion.

‘Egypt is Preparing for War With Israel’

Posted by addisethiopia / አዲስ ኢትዮጵያ on April 7, 2015

Maimonides (Rambam) wrote that the nation of Ishmael (Muslims) injures and harms the Jews greatly. He claimed that there has never been a nation opposing Israel and degrading, scorning, and hating the Jews as they do.

Noha Hashad, pro-Israeli nuclear scientist who escaped Egypt after years of torture, says what’s happening in Sinai isn’t what we think.

Noha Hashad (51), an Egyptian nuclear scientist who fled the Nile state in 2011 after her support of Israel made her a target for torture over many long years, has exposed troubling insights regarding Egypt’s military buildup in the Sinai Peninsula, as it fights terrorist organizations there.

Speaking to Israel Hayom’s Emily Amrousi from her new home in Haifa, Hashad was asked to give her take about Egypt’s actions in Sinai, where the Egyptian army has been fighting radical groups such as Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis, a group that recently swore allegiance to Islamic State (ISIS).

“That’s all for show,” appraised Hashad. “In the race for the presidency, Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis supported (President Abdel Fattah) al-Sisi, who isn’t really fighting them.”

The nuclear scientist warned “Egypt is preparing for war with Israel. It armed and trained Hamas in Gaza. Whoever knows Arabic can hear the heads of Egyptian military intelligence talk about wide canals that open up between Israel and Egypt that will be used at the appropriate time.”

The warning echoes appraisals by Col. (res.) Dr. Shaul Shay, former deputy head of the Israel National Security Council, who wrote in Israel Defense last December that the “Badr 2014” military maneuver, its largest in decades, was meant to prepare for “a potential conflict with Israel.”

Hashad spoke to the Israeli paper about the culture of hatred for Israel that has been rampant in Egypt, despite a decades-old peace treaty.

She argued that the conflict between Israel and Palestinian Arabs isn’t the cause of Egyptian hatred for Israel, but rather “the Palestinian struggle is a byproduct of Egyptian hatred. (Palestine Liberation Organization founder Yasser) Arafat served in the Egyptian army. The Palestine Liberation Organization was invented by Egypt during the reign of (former Egyptian President Gamal Abdel) Nasser.”

“Egyptian generals give lectures everywhere and tell stories of how Israel is the only enemy of the Arabs, the only target,” said Hashad. “The incitement against Jews is done on a daily basis on television, in films and by famous actors. They treat Israel as a temporary phenomenon.”

Egypt has been imposing a massive buffer zone inside Gaza on the southern border with the Sinai, evicting thousands of locals and creating a presence within the Hamas stronghold.

Last February the Nile state sealed a $2 billion arms deal with Russia, and just last Tuesday US President Barack Obama unfroze American military aid that had been suspended in the violent coup that put al-Sisi in power in July, 2013.

“The Koran is a Zionist text”

Hashad received her doctorate in nuclear physics from Beni-Suef University, and taught nuclear physics at the university as well as at Cairo University. She also ran her own research laboratory.

Born as a Muslim in Cairo, she was sent to a private school in Saudi Arabia where she studied Islam. Her mother’s family traces its ancestry to Hussein Bin Ali, the ground of the founder of Islam Mohammed, and himself the founder of Shia Islam.

She told Israel Hayom that her father’s family has a connection to Judaism, saying, “apparently, my last name, Hashad, is derived from the Hebrew word Hassid.”

After a chance encounter with an Israeli professor through an e-mail in 1999 and a rebuff from the government denying her from attending a conference in Jerusalem or leaving Egypt, her interest in the Jewish people was sparked by a BBC article that quoted the Koran referencing the Temple and King Solomon.

“I discovered that the Koran mentions Jewish rights to the land of Israel in a clear manner. Later on, during my interrogations, I was accused of the horrible crime of supporting Zionism. If being a Zionist means to say that the land of Israel belongs to the people of Israel, then the Koran is a Zionist book,” she said.

Hashad elaborated that in the Koran “it is written that the land of Israel belongs to ‘the nation of Moses.’ Who are ‘the people of Moses’ if not Israel? This also appears in books that offer commentary about the Koran. The sheikhs know this, but they prefer to nurture the incorrect narrative in order to deny this right to the Jews and to take over land.”

Secret police crackdown

Eager to reveal more of this hidden information about the Koran, Hashad went to the library of Al-Azhar University, considered one of the most important Islamic repositories of texts and research.

At the institution, she told Amrousi, she found the “original interpretation of the Koran before it was politicized and it turns out that, indeed, I was correct. The Land of Israel belongs to the Jews.”

Out of Africa – Did the Colonial Powers Ever Really Leave?

Posted by addisethiopia / አዲስ ኢትዮጵያ on January 21, 2013

AfricaMap

Africa may have achieved independence, but the old colonial ties are still important as France’s decision to send troops to Mali to fight Islamist extremists shows. The old colonial powers in Africa may no longer be the rulers, but they still exert influence and have strong economic and political links. David McDonald, professor of the Global Development Studies at Queen’s University, says, “The French and the English were much more strategic in terms of recognizing that they wanted to maintain neo-colonial linkages with their former colonies. So it was shedding the direct authoritarian power at the barrel of a gun and replacing that with independence, but an independence that was, and is still to some extent, extremely dependent on the political and economic will of the former colonial masters.”

How to Control a Nation

Posted by addisethiopia / አዲስ ኢትዮጵያ on November 6, 2010

The famine in 1985 in Ethiopia was the consequence of calculated and well-planned policy decisions on the part of the West as well as the corrupt regime of Ethiopia to destabilize the country.

In the 1970s, the US refused to sell weapons to the Ethiopians government, so, Ethiopia turned to the USSR, ending its long-standing alliance with the West. Since that time US officials have sought to reestablish this important alliance. It was speculated, that, the 1984 famine would enable the West, and particularly the US, to win Ethiopia back; humanitarian assistance, they suggested, might succeed where diplomacy had failed. This was not to be. Instead, Ethiopia accepted food from the West and weapons from the USSR and its allies.

Unbeknownst to many Western observers, the US National Security Council (NSC) had known of the impending famine since the early 1980s. At a 1982 meeting on the famine, in fact, the NSC reportedly decided to withhold food from Ethiopia even though it was well known that the country was already suffering serious food shortages. According to one council member who attended the meeting, the consensus of those present was to let the famine occur in the hopes of either destabilizing the Mengistu regime or, at the very least, forcing it to make economic reforms more amenable to the US government. Regardless of one’s views on the US government’s decision to ignore the gravity of food shortages in Ethiopia, the US did not create the food shortages. However, it is precisely this question – What caused the shortages? As the famine persisted, Ethiopian officials were either embarrassed or unconcerned by it. They certainly were not prepared to make policy changes that would alleviate it. Their priorities lay elsewhere. Famine provided the opportunity – a smokescreen of chaos – to intensify resettlement and villagization, programs intended eventually to relocate most farmers in Ethiopia so that the government could control better the movements and production of the country’s food producers. Mengistu, for example, did not visit relief camps in Wollo or Tigray, the areas hardest hit by famine, until December 1984.

After it became apparent that food would not realign the Ethiopian regime, the US looked for alternative groups that, through humanitarian assistance, could be supported in their struggle against the government. Although the Ethiopian People’s Democratic Alliance (EPDA) had received $500,000 worth of “general” assistance per year from the US Central Intelligence Agency since 1981, it was not seen as terribly effective. The Reagan Administration then looked to the Tigrayan People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) as a more acceptable alternative.

Less well known or perhaps even understood by the agencies, but equally as important, is the fact that the Ethiopian government has used humanitarian assistance to reinforce the conditions that led to the famine. The government even used the assistance to extend the famine into formerly self-sufficient regions. Conservative calculations indicate that Western assistance contributed directly to conditions that led to the deaths of 250,000 to 300,000 people between 1984 and 1987.

During the Ethiopian famine of 1984-1986, Western “humanitarian” agencies collaborated with the government, both actively and passively, in programs that both intensified the famine where it existed and extended it to new areas. Many Western relief and assistance agencies are setting themselves up for a fall. This fact, in and of itself, should not be our concern. However, it is inevitable that not only will famine continue in Ethiopia but hat similar emergencies will develop elsewhere.

The following amazing short video illustrates in the best possible way how all of these came to bear. The video-interview was done back in 1985 with a former KGB agent who was trained in subversion techniques. He explains the 4 basic steps to socially engineering entire generations into thinking and behaving the way those in power want them to.

  • Demoralization

  • Destabilization

  • Crisis

  • Normalization

It’s indeed shocking, shocking because our beloved Ethiopia has been transformed in the exact same way, and followed the exact same steps. Famine, Marxist ideology, Liberation fronts, Ethnic federalism have all been the tools used by our enemies to destroy the 5000- year-old Ethiopian nation once and for all. We were kept in ignorance and indifference not to know who we exactly are. And, of course, our enemies have been unidentifiable to us, for a very long time.
