💭 A Danish TV crew’s live broadcast in Qatar was interrupted by security staff who threatened to break their camera over claims they did not have a permit.
TV2 reporter Rasmus Tantholdt was reporting live from a street in Doha ahead of the FIFA World Cup when he was stopped by officials late on Tuesday.
Three men in traditional dress pulled up behind the news anchor in an electric cart and tried to block the camera lens.
Mr Tantholdt was heard saying in English: “You invited the whole world to come here, why can’t we film? It’s a public place.”
After showing them his press accreditation, he added: “You can break the camera, you want to break it? You are threatening us by smashing the camera?”
Qatar’s Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy has since apologised.
They said the journalists were “mistakenly interrupted”.
“Upon inspection of the crew’s valid tournament accreditation and filming permit, an apology was made to the broadcaster by on-site security before the crew resumed their activity,” a statement said.
Tournament bosses also said they spoke to Mr Tantholdt and “issued an advisory to all entities to respect the filming permits in place for the tournament”.
💭 Very sad! An Oklahoma news anchor suffered a stroke during a live newscast. Anchor Julie Chin says she suddenly lost vision in one eye. Then her arm went numb and her speech became garbled. She says her symptoms came out of nowhere. Her colleagues recognized something was wrong and called 911. The newscaster says tests at the hospital showed she suffered the early stages of a stroke. Chin says “There are still lots of questions, and lots to follow up on, but the bottom line is I should be just fine.”
👉 Back in 2015 the Canadian Crew was there not only for adventure, but somehow also to live and witness the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo faith, to discover the central element of Orthodox Christian belief and theology — The Love of Christ, The Love of Jesus Christ for humanity, The Love of Christians for Jesus Christ, and The Love of Christians for others. These aspects are distinct in Orthodox Christian teachings—the love for Christ is a reflection of his love for all. That’s what these Canadian Television crew members got climbing on a rope to reach the top of Mount Zion where this marvelous 6th century Debre Damo / St. Abuna Aregewai Monastery is located.
This made the devil mad. We know Satan hates love, and gets angry when good things happen – so a coalition Army of Satan consisting of the Gog/Magog armies of the Muslim-Protestant Oromo Abiy Ahmed Ali (ENDF), Eritrean Army (EDF), Amhara Militias, Somali Soldiers and army of drones from the United Arab Emirates decided to blow up this 6th-century Christian Monastery. We still don’t know regarding loss and damage. Until today, medias and teams who try to investigate the bombardment of the Monastery were denied entry. But, in this Jihad some Monks were killed and injured.

…in Prank Gone Wrong
In a prank gone wrong, an Egyptian actor viciously attacked a female show host and another crew member after being told he was on Israeli TV. As part of the prank, the actor was initially told he would appear on Egyptian TV.
“I heard her say that this is an Israeli channel. Is this an Israeli channel?” the actor, Ayman Kandeel, said.
“The production didn’t tell you that this is an Israeli channel?” Iman Mubarak, the female host replied.
“No.”
After some cross talk, the actor eventually loses him temper and gets up, shoves and smacks one male crew member in the head and starts kicking the furniture on the set. Then he turns his attention to the female host and slaps her across the face, knocking her to the ground.
