CNN Just Got Hit by a Massive Truth Bomb–The Facts of Life Are Conservative

Posted by addisethiopia / አዲስ ኢትዮጵያ on June 28, 2017

Could be bullshit. I mean, it’s mostly bullshit right now.”

And there you have it, a CNN producer, caught on camera, frankly admitting that “fake news” isn’t some regrettable accident of the 24-hour news cycle.

Fake news” is CNN’s entire business model. (The business model of quite a few other liberal MSM outlets too, if the tantalizing hints being dropped by James O’Keefe are to be believed…)

As a fellow human being I feel sorry for the poor guy caught on camera by Project Veritasadmitting this stuff — because he’s probably going to lose his job.

But as a fellow journalist I feel about as much sympathy for him as I do for all those idiot jihadists who go out to fight in Raqqa and Mosul, lured by the cool videos of the beards, black flags, and AKs with the wailing soundtrack. Did they seriously imagine when they joined ISIS/CNN that it was all just going to be about the glamour and the hot chicks and the purity of the noble cause?

And I’m really not being high minded here. It just seems to me that one of the most basic, entry-level precepts that any serious news organization ought to be observe – and that CNN most patently never has observed, or not for a very, very long time – is this:

Facts are sacred. The truth always makes the best story. You do not make shit up.

Not only ought this stuff to be obvious, but it ought to come instinctively. Isn’t the whole attraction of joining an unglamorous, overworked, underpaid trade like journalism that you want to discover the truth about the world: all the stuff that they would rather you didn’t know?

That’s certainly been my own experience in the last few years covering the climate change/enviro-lunacy beat. I’ve never much enjoyed all the flak I’ve got from the left-wing media; still less have I liked being rejected by so many friends. But the thing that has kept me going through the hard times is that I know I’m doing good and making a real difference: there are some devious bastards out there doing terrible stuff and I’m exposing their knavery and holding them to account.

For any self-respecting journalist, I’d call that “job done.”

Sometimes I get asked by people on the other side of the argument: “What if you’re wrong?”

Here’s the first thing I’ll do if I’m wrong about climate change. I’ll write a big piece explaining why I’m wrong. Then I’ll find someone who is prepared to pay me for writing the opposite of what I do now.

This isn’t because I’m a moral paragon. It’s because I’m lazy and because I prefer the easier life: writing journalism where you have to keep making up your “facts” is much, much harder than doing what I do now, which is basically, copying out true facts and then adding a few nice adjectives and thinking up a snarky final sentence.

That said, I would have to concede that this is much easier to do if you’re politically on the right rather than on the left.

Margaret Thatcher once said “The facts of life are conservative.” And as in so many things, she was absolutely spot on. This, as you can imagine, makes life very, very difficult for people in the overcrowded left-wing media. (It’s overcrowded because so many journalists think they’re left wing).

Every day, they wake up to a world where: Israel is the only functioning democracy in the Middle East with the best human rights record; socialism is failing everywhere it is being tried from Venezuela to North Korea; the worst, most fascistic acts of violence and intolerance are being committed by left-wing people calling themselves “anti-fascists”; Islam is not a “religion of peace”; Trump is doing a great job as president — way, way better than his predecessor Obama; man-made climate change is the biggest scam in the history of science, politics, or economics…

And somehow they’ve got to construct stories demonstrating the opposite because it’s what their dumb-assed audiences want to hear.

How, if you’re running a left-wing media organization, do you reconcile this yawning gulf between the facts on the ground and your preferred political narrative?

Simple: you remake the world so that black is white and white is black; you create your own facts.

The liberal media has achieved this in myriad ways: selective reporting; emotive storytelling where opinion masquerades as news; targeting and vicious demonizing of anyone on the other side of the argument; the extensive quotation and celebration of people on the left who have successfully infiltrated schools, universities, branches of government, and other institutions both public and private, so that their skewed version of events becomes the official narrative.

But perhaps the deadliest weapon in the liberal media’s armory is this: the continual pretence it makes that its news reporting is fair, balanced, and honest; that it is constantly striving after objective truth; that only its enemies in the malign right-wing press are guilty of biased journalism.

And for years organizations like CNN — not to mention the New York Times, the Washington Post and their various UK counterparts like the Guardian and the BBC — have been getting away with this because, as someone once said (maybe Churchill, maybe Lenin, maybe Mark Twain — no one is quite sure), “a lie is half way round the world before the truth has got his boots on.”

One of the malign consequences of this deliberate and cynical lie (which comes straight out of the Leninist playbook) is that conservative media outlets have been continually forced onto the back foot, forever having to defend themselves against the charge that they serve up politicised news designed to advance their right wing agenda.

Which they do, of course. Fox News does it. Breitbart does it. The Daily Caller does it. The Sun and the Daily Mail do it. Every one of them is undoubtedly guilty of serving up journalism with a right wing slant.

The key element missing from this particular calumny is that the left wing media demonstrates at least as much bias, if not more. It just won’t admit it.

Prophets Of Baal Will Fail Once Again, Trump Still President!

Posted by addisethiopia / አዲስ ኢትዮጵያ on February 27, 2017

1st-kings18

And you call upon the name of your god, and I will call upon the name of the LORD, and the God who answers by fire, he is God.” And all the people answered, “It is well spoken.” [1st Kings 18:24 ]

Evil seeks to maintain power by Suppressing the Truth. The Truth is no longer hidden, but now people are Hiding from the Truth! – Jon Watkins 2016

There is no difference between what the prophets of Baal did some 2800 years ago, and what these modern-day Baal worshipers are doing today. Ahab and Jezebel, (Feel free to apply the name(s) to the modern-day devils, as you see fit) have called out their Demonic army to rally against the few who stand for Good,Truth, and Righteousness!

This time it is not 850, but perhaps Millions and Millions of Baal worshipers across the world calling on Lucifer to intervene on their behalf. The challenge has gone out, to see who is more powerful, their many false gods, or the One and Only True GOD of the Bible!

Do not be fooled, this is WAR. It is being fought mainly in the Spirit world, (yes it exists and the opposition this article is about is tapped into what God has forbidden) and has now manifested into our physical world. Isaiah 8:19 “And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead? 20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.” Finally, it is out in the open, and can no longer be denied. This is the same war that has been raging since the beginning. The battle between Good/The Creator God and Evil/the created Devil. The same spirits that were seeking to build the Tower of Babel and defeat God are still trying to build that same Tower today. They still foolishly believe that they can kill GOD.

These Baal worshipers are coming against God and the leader God has placed in office. Just as the people did on the day that Elijah stood against those same Hounds of Hell (all by himself I might add) many of God’s so-called followers of this present day are cowering in fear. If they are not running far and fast they are hanging just as mere spectators, too cowardly to speak.

Except for the calling down of the Fire, we are witnessing the same contest, (for a lack of a better word) playing out before our eyes. We WILL soon see who is really in charge, who is the true Almighty God. It may not reach that conclusion until the battle of Armageddon, but, in the end, the LORD will be victorious!

For those who do not know, Witches have called on all the hounds of Hell to Curse Trump and all who support him. At midnight on February 24, Wiccans, shamans, Hermeneuticists, cunning folk, sorcerers and sorceresses, voodooists, occultists, magicians, Ceremonialists, and Ritualists were all invited and urged to take part according to this article. They plan to have regular monthly sessions, performed at midnight EST on every waning crescent moon. The future spell casting events will be held on March 26, April 24, May 23 and beyond, until Trump is removed from office.

Why Do I Liken Them To The Prophets Of Baal?

The account of Elijah and the prophets of Baal is recorded in 1st Kings chapter 18. After Israel, had gone more than three years without rain, as a judgment for their idolatry, the prophet Elijah confronts the evil king Ahab and challenges him to a spiritual showdown. The king was to have all Israel gather at Mt. Carmel, along with the 450 prophets of the false god Baal and the 400 prophets of the false goddess Asherah. Source: Got Questions.

Ahab had accused Elijah of being the reason for the drought and troubles that were plaguing their land: 1st Kings 18:17-18 “And it came to pass, when Ahab saw Elijah, that Ahab said unto him, Art thou he that troubleth Israel? 18 And he answered, I have not troubled Israel; but thou, and thy father’s house, in that ye have forsaken the commandments of the LORD, and thou hast followed Baalim.

The Communist leftists are pointing fingers, using tactics out of Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals, trying to place the blame for all the woes of the world on President Trump. This is just as Ahab tried to twist things around to make Elijah the scapegoat. Our nation has endured Eight Hellish Years of Witchcraft and Baal worship right out of the White House by the Muslim Obama! The Prophet Isaiah said it best: Isaiah 5:20 “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”

The opposition to God should take heed. If they want a Spiritual battle, they would be wise to consider that God ALWAYS wins! 1st Kings 18:40 “And Elijah said unto them, Take the prophets of Baal; let not one of them escape. And they took them: and Elijah brought them down to the brook Kishon, and slew them there.” That is not a threat in any way to anyone. God has HIS way of dealing with those who oppose HIM!

Witch, this WILL be your Fate!

Please note that after this encounter, Elijah ran from Ahab and Jezebel. I do not think that President Trump will RUN from Jezebel. He stood up to HER and her cronies during the general election and continues to do so today. I implore the rest of you “Don’t run from Jezebel” as the late David Wilkerson had written!

All Of Hollywood Has Been Called, Out Of Their Filth And Mire, To Revolt Against The President

There are too many news stories to list so take a look at all of these.. 10 pages just since Dec. 2016!

The Fake News Outlets have stepped up their assault and like King Cobras are spewing as much venom as they possibly can!

Paid Agitators And Anarchists Are Mobilized Against The President

They became especially furious when the chaplain closed the prayer “in Jesus’s name”

The Whole World Is Going Mad Including “Religious Leaders”!

While the Pope and other disciples of Satan are protesting President Trump, Check this out:

The Luciferians Always Oppose Those Called By God

evilvsgood

Noah, Moses, David, Gideon, as well as others, were called on by God for a task, and even though President Trump has his flaws, it is my opinion that he has been installed by GOD! Some are comparing him to king Cyrus. This is a possibility, but there is another option to consider. Since the people have demanded a change, he could be a parallel of King Saul, as I wrote back during the primaries. When the Righteous Rule: Are God’s people once again going the way of King Saul?

After the party fizzles, out, will the masses turn on President Trump? Look at Moses. After he led the people OUT of Egypt, they soon started to whine and murmur against him. They wanted to RETURN to Egypt, go back into captivity because things got a little rough for them!

The Prophets stood alone when relaying the Word of the LORD to the people and were hated and killed. The communists are calling for the President to be killed!

I am afraid the same will happen with the cheering crowds once the going gets tough! They will once again build the Golden Calf, once again bow to Baal and return to the safety of their captivity!

Witchcraft And Calling On Baal Is Backfiring On Them!

Just as God has told the nation of Israel he would Bless those who Bless them, and Curse those who Curse Israel, he will do the same for those who are called for a purpose! Genesis 12:3 “And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”

It would behoove these communist clowns to see from whence come blessings and curses! See Blessings and Curses.

Conclusion

It is a great time to be alive and I believe we will soon hear the sound of the last trump of God. It will be a great day to be with HIM and see the defeat of all the enemies God and His people. It will also be a very sad day as millions will die and end up in Hell! It is time to ask yourself, where do you stand? The line has been drawn in the sand. Are you with God? Do you KNOW HIM? If not, there is still time! You can escape Hell IF you repent and turn from your wicked ways. Now, before it is too late. Soon Grace will end and the door will close.

Voter Suppression: Corporate Media Declare Victory for Hillary Clinton Weeks Before Election

Posted by addisethiopia / አዲስ ኢትዮጵያ on October 19, 2016

A host of establishment media outlets are declaring victory for Hillary Clinton weeks before the U.S. presidential election — as they did on the eve of the Democratic primary in California, causing Bernie Sanders supporters to suspect coordinated voter suppression.A couple of headlines from the past week show the pro-Clinton talking point in wide circulation:

New York Times: “Early Voting Could Point to Hillary Clinton Victory Well Before Nov. 8”

ABC News: “Irish Bookies Are So Confident Clinton Will Win, They’re Already Paying Out”

Steve Goldstein, DC Bureau Chief of MarketWatch: “The election’s over — Hillary Clinton won”

NPR: “NPR Battleground Map: Hillary Clinton Is Winning — And It’s Not Close”

Los Angeles Times: “Even lots of Donald Trump’s supporters are starting to think he’ll lose the election”

And several outlets are even setting expectations for a Clinton “landslide”:

FiveThirtyEight: “Should Clinton Play For An Electoral College Landslide?”

Washington Post: “As Trump stumbles, Clinton weighs a striking choice: Expand the map or stick to the plan”

Vox: “The polls are split between Hillary Clinton winning and … Hillary Clinton winning in a landslide”

The drumbeat of an inevitable Clinton victory recalls an Associated Press story one day before the California Democratic primary.

Standing Up For Truth In Babylon

Posted by addisethiopia / አዲስ ኢትዮጵያ on October 2, 2016

2016-10-02_225506

As a British Christian I have over the years watched world and cultural events mainly through the various media outlets that were available to me at the time. Certainly in Britain one of the most famous and most watched news networks was and is the British Broadcasting Corporation or the BBC. As time passed I came to the personal conclusion that journalism from the BBC was biased. It was in my opinion anti-Christian but pro-Islam, anti-Israel but pro-Arab, pro-choice concerning abortion, left-leaning politically and so on. In particular I observed over time Christians and Jews viewed with suspicion and distaste by reporters and treated unfairly and often not given enough time to respond to complex questions or interrupted before they could finish.

I must interject here that there was one glorious occasion, one moment I remember when the light broke through the dark recesses of the studio. I will never forget an interview with two American singers on “BBC Breakfast”. These ladies were clearly full on and passionate about their faith. They talked openly about God and Jesus and faith and I watched in delight as the two BBC journalists sat on the couch with frozen faces probably having never experienced such a thing before. Sadly that was a rare event.

It was only at the advent of the internet and the availability of more foreign news networks that I realized that not all journalists thought like the BBC. During this time, I came across the Fox News Channel. The news report I watched was about Israel and Hamas. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. A journalist defending Israel! I watched more. God was mentioned and not in a derogatory manner. In another segment prayer in the public arena was discussed. What? It was like entering a new and beautiful land where they spoke a wonderfully and refreshing language. The Internet has been even more enlightening. I have discovered your very own American Thinker and many other websites and blogs which promote basically the Judeo-Christian Philosophy.

Now please don’t misunderstand me at this point because there are many fine journalists in Britain who stand up for conservative and Christian values. One in particular comes to mind, a lady by the name of Melanie Phillips. Unfortunately we do not see enough of her and people of similar integrity on our screens in Britain.

I felt led to write this piece today because I have been following closely the continued attack on your rights as Americans to declare your faith in the public arena and I realized something very sad that as British Christians we have to a large degree been silenced in the public arena. Oh yes, we still have freedom of speech but through a process of intimidation and political correctness our faith has been relegated to only being discussed in a religious setting or in the privacy of our own homes.

It was with this in mind that I recently came across Professor John Lennox. He has written a book about the Prophet Daniel called Against the Flow: The Inspiration of Daniel in an age of relativism. I haven’t read the book yet but the synopsis alone was so revealing and relevant at this moment in history. It reads:

Daniel and his friends did not simply maintain their private devotion to God; they maintained a high-profile witness in a pluralistic society antagonistic to their faith. That is why their story has such a powerful message for us. Society tolerates the practice of Christianity in private and in church services, but it increasingly deprecates public witness. If Daniel and his compatriots were with us today they would be in the vanguard of the public debate. What it was that gave that ancient foursome, Daniel and his three friends, the strength and conviction to be prepared, often at great risk, to swim against the flow?

In closing I still have hope for my country although we have a long way to go if we are to take back the ground which the secularists have won. You, my dear American friends, have a great opportunity to stand up for truth and religious freedom like Daniel the Prophet and prevent your nation from becoming another Babylon. God will be with you.

No More! After Nice, Let’s Stop The Nonsense

Posted by addisethiopia / አዲስ ኢትዮጵያ on July 17, 2016

No more flags of foreign countries posted on Facebook in a spirit NoMorePCof solidarity. No more empathic Twitter hashtags. No more empty statements by heads of government declaring that “the terrorists have failed in their effort to turn us against one another.” No more equally empty statements by other heads of government expressing their own country’s support for “our ally in its time of grief.” No more calls for love in the face of hate, or candlelight processions as a response to murder. No more clicking of tongues and shaking of heads over the horrible loss of life—as if people had died in a one-off natural disaster, a hurricane or tornado or tsunami—followed, after a few days, by a return to normal. Until the next time, of course.

No more attempts to psychologically analyze every new jihadist—to probe his troubled family or professional life in an attempt to figure out what “turned him to violence and extremism.” No more reflexive reassurances that “this has nothing to do with Islam,” that a handful of bad guys have “hijacked” a “peaceful” faith, and that “the great majority of the world’s 1.5 billion Muslims are, of course, peace-loving people who utterly reject this kind of action.” No more slick pivoting to the subject of gun control, or American homophobia, or whatever other diversion seems useful under the specific circumstances. No more blaming of Europeans’ supposed failure to accept or embrace or integrate or employ Muslims, or of Muslims’ alleged poverty or hopelessness or frustration or alienation.

No more hand-wringing by journalists, as they stand mere yards from the bodies of the dead, about the possible “backlash” against Muslims (which never really materializes). No more declarations by U.S. officials that the mere mention of Islam in connection with Islamic terrorism is “dangerous” and “counterproductive” because it “alienates” the Muslim allies and Muslim communities whose help we need in fighting this problem that we dare not properly name. No more respectful TV interviews with representatives of “Muslim civil-rights organizations” that have been proven over and over again to be fronts for terrorism.

No more outrageous lies by government and media that, almost fifteen years after 9/11, keep so many Americans so outrageously in the dark about the world in which we live now. No more of the despicable day-to-day efforts by the same actors to keep those Americans who do get it in line, to instill in them an unholy fear that, if they dare to address the problem honestly, they’ll be thrust forever out into the dark—beyond the realm of decent society, unacceptable, unemployable, unfriendable. No more societal tyranny by those who (because they’re cowardly, or feel powerless, or have no sense of responsibility to preserve the precious gift of freedom that their own forebears fought and died for and have bequeathed them, or are, inconceivably, unconcerned about the world their own children and grandchildren will inhabit) treat as enemies not those who seek to destroy them but those who dare to speak the truth about it.

No more ignorance. A couple of weeks ago, Adam Carolla recorded his podcast—one of the most popular on the Internet—before an Amsterdam audience. Carolla, an Angeleno, asked locals about life in the Netherlands. They painted a thoroughly rosy picture. He asked about religion. They depicted a near-utopian secular country free of reactionary faith. Poof! Down the memory hole went Pim Fortuyn, Theo Van Gogh, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Geert Wilders. And Carolla didn’t challenge any of it. Then, just the other day, in an interview on Joe Rogan’s podcast (which is even bigger than Carolla’s), gay conservative Milo Yiannopoulos served up some basic facts that everybody in the U.S. would know by now if the mainstream media were doing its job—facts about the levels of Muslim rape in Sweden, about the scale of antigay animus in Muslim communities, and about the systematic efforts by European governments to obscure these and other ticklish matters. Rogan, who is no fool, and who has interviewed hundreds of people in an effort to educate himself about the world, was shocked by all of it. (“Wow! Wow! Wow!”)

In the years after 9/11, major acts of Islamic terrorism in the West seemed to come along every year or so, leaving plenty of time in between to go back to pretending that everything was fine and to resume mouthing benign platitudes. Now they’re happening so often, one right on top of the other, that we can hardly keep track of them. The only upside is that it’s getting harder and harder to maintain that pretense.

The time for shock is over. The time for heaping up flowers and candles and stuffed animals at the sites of atrocities is over. The lies and ignorance and cravenness must end, and the simple facts must be faced. The free, civilized West has, for years now, been the target of a war of conquest—a war waged in many forms (of which terrorism is only one) by adherents of a religion that preaches submission, intolerance, and brutality, and our leaders and media, with few exceptions, continue to play a game whose fatuity, fecklessness, and pusillanimity have become increasingly clear. After Nice, no more.

Islam and Christianity not Comparable

Posted by addisethiopia / አዲስ ኢትዮጵያ on March 18, 2015

Lampooning Christianity brings money and renown, criticizing Islam gets you 1000 lashes.

“Christians Have Waged Their Own Holy Wars” was yet another annoying headline, this one in the Miami Herald. It seems that every time someone is beheaded, shot (by children, no less), or burned alive by ISIL, there is this inevitable handwringing over the violent history of — Christianity.

Confused? So am I. Precisely what the Crusades or the Inquisition have to do with events in the Middle East is not clear. One suspects that attacking Christianity fits neatly into a domestic agenda. Yes, Christianity is not only Islam’s chief global rival, it is a barrier to the American Cultural Left’s social vision (think abortion and gay marriage). Whatever the motivation, this ignores a serious (and growing) foreign threat.

For their part, Christians, in spite of their supposedly violent natures, have accepted all of this rather passively. Indeed, to be a Christian apologist these days seems to involve a lot of apologizing for being a Christian at all. This alone should be sufficient evidence of Christianity’s peaceful nature. I mean, I don’t hear many Muslims apologizing for the Muslim invasion of Europe (which preceded the Crusades by almost 400 years), for the recent scandal of some 1,400 children systematically raped by Muslim men in Rotherham, England, or for the oppression of women and religious minorities in Islamic states.

Charlie Hebdo is illustrative of my point.

That the magazine lampooned Muhammad we all know. What is little known is that between 2005 and 2015, the magazine devoted 38 covers to obscene and offensive depictions of religion or religious figures. Of those, 21 were aimed at Christianity while only seven targeted Islam. Yet those seven covers netted two terrorist attacks and 16 people dead. Were Christians truly as violent as Muslims, there would have been no less than six Christian attacks on Charlie Hebdo.

There have been none.

There are many other examples of the very different responses Christians and Muslims have had to unflattering depictions of their religion: Martin Scorsese (director of “The Last Temptation of Christ”) is still alive while Theo Van Gogh (director of “Submission”) is dead, shot eight times in the street and a butcher knife left in his chest. Richard Dawkins has made a fortune attacking Christianity and lives handsomely in Oxford while Raif Badawi, the Saudi blogger who was publicly lashed 50 times for his criticisms of Islam, is in jail awaiting 950 more lashes. And Salman Rushdie lives under the perpetual threat of assassination while Rushdie’s friend and fellow writer Christopher Hitchens enjoyed celebrity status among the Christians he denigrated.

The point isn’t that most Muslims are terrorists or would-be terrorists; rather, the point is that many terrorists are Muslim. Some will object that a relatively small percentage of Muslims commit atrocities, but that is beside the point. There are relatively few Ultimate Fighters — but they have a lot of fans. Last week, BBC announced triumphantly the results of a new poll saying, “an overwhelming majority of British Muslims oppose the use of violence against people publishing images of the Prophet Muhammad.”

This sounded reassuring. Promising even. The results? Twenty-seven percent of British Muslims were “sympathetic” with the Charlie Hebdo shootings. That’s one in four? “Overwhelming” was the right word. Overwhelmingly alarming. Can you imagine a similar figure for evangelicals and abortion clinic bombings? Neither can I. As you can see, Muslim extremists have a substantial fan base.

At this moment I am in the small, quiet French town of Labastide-Rouairoux. Recently, the tranquility of this village was disturbed by the discovery that one of its sons, Quentin Le Brun, had joined ISIL. No less than 3,000 other Europeans have done likewise. “Jihadi John,” who was raised in London, is the most notorious of these. Now what, exactly, is the modern Christian equivalent of this phenomenon? The forty-something members of the Westboro “Baptist” Church?

Of course, there is no equivalent. The religions are not equivalent. Islam is a religion that is defined by law. Nowhere in the Quran does it call for Muslims to be at peace with non-Muslims. Christianity, by contrast, is a religion defined by grace. Its founder, Jesus Christ, modeled it and predicted that some would kill in the name of God. But he added: “They will do such things because they have not known the Father or me.” (John 16:2-3)
