Christians Are Under Attack In The Middle East – And Not Even A Visit From The Pope Can Convince Them To Stay

Posted by addisethiopia on April 27, 2017

Egyptian Coptic Christians hold crosses and pray during a protest in Cairo

In the British mandate of Palestine, the Christian population was 9.6 per cent of the population. By 1999, it was 2.9 per cent. Meanwhile, 35 per cent of the Christians of the West Bank and Gaza left between 1967 and 1999

Almost exactly a quarter of a century ago, I wrote a story for the front page of what was then The Independent’s Weekend Review. It was headlined: “Exodus: a story of Christians”. It told the tragedy of those people of the faith who were fleeing the lands of the forefathers.

I interviewed the only hermit left in Lebanon, in a cave in the north of the country, and he said to me: “I am the only hermit left in all the Middle East.” His eyes creased in happiness when I acknowledged his unique theological condition. “I will never leave Lebanon,” he said. “No Christian should leave the Holy Land. Those who have left will come back.

He exuded faith: childlike, passionate, precise, untramelled by contradiction or facts. And he was wrong.

As I wrote at the time – from Iraq, from the West Bank, from Lebanon and from Egypt, “probably” (that was my word then) from Syria, too – the Christians were leaving. A community of 14 million people, the inheritors of the original, eastern church of Christ, were draining away from lands now inhabited by up to 160 million Muslims.

Today, the Copts of Egypt alone may be as many as 15 million, but they make up only 10 per cent of the population. Under attack from Islamists, they are leaving for the West in huge numbers – which is one reason the Pope lands in Egypt on Thursday in the hope (a plaintiff one, I fear) that Christians and Muslims can take violence out of religion. We pretend to care very much for these Christians, of course. (Indeed, we care so much that even the new American President, Donald Trump, was too frightened to call the 1915 slaughter of one and a half million Armenian Christians a genocide this week.)

I was much moved some two years ago, in the little Syrian town of Qamishleh, by the local priests and bishops of the Maronite (Catholic), Armenian and Orthodox churches who pleaded with me to stop suggesting that the Christians should seek sanctuary in the West. If they went to Canada or America or Europe, they said, they will become part of a secular world in which they would lose their faith. This should not be the fate of the Christians of the Middle East.

But, after 44 Christian Copts were killed in two church bombings in Egypt this month, can they stay? When Christian Copts are murdered in Sinai, can they stay? When Isis in Iraq tells them to convert or die, can they stay?

By 1999, only 10 per cent of the people of Jerusalem were Christian. Just 30 per cent of Nazareth’s population of 172,000 were Christian.

In the British mandate of Palestine, the Christian population was 9.6 per cent of the population. By 1999, it was 2.9 per cent. Meanwhile, 35 per cent of the Christians of the West Bank and Gaza left between 1967 and 1999. And Christianity is supposed to be one of the world’s great religions.

Pope Francis makes surprise appearance at TED Talk

She would not accept this. “And we were defeated later by different people and with different tools,” she replied. “I’m not the person who would say ‘Oh we should overcome this’. I think people do have their differences. And it’s important to look and analyse and try to see why people have their differences and how they can run these differences through time and in different situations. But I think that both sides are responsible for this.”

What will the Pope say that? Or to the Grand Imam of Al Azhar in Cairo, Sheikh Ahmad al-Tayeb? Will they be up to the task of self-incrimination?

My Note: ISLAM + PROTESTANTISM + SECULARISM = PAGANISM is at war against ORTHODOX CHRISTIANITY. We shall know whether CATHOLICS had joined them during the Pope’s visit to Egypt. Not as a Pope, but just as a Christian, will he be able to call the demon-possessed followers of Mohammad for what they are, and invite them into The House of The Lord to be saved? Instead of sugarcoating the Muslim persecutors with the usual boaring message, like “reconciliation with all the children of Abraham“, will he simply able to warn them to stop persecuting children of The Lord Jesus Christ?

The above article supports my thoughts expressed a couple of days ago:

I believe it’s is irresponsible, biased and dangerous that a protestant organization like OpenDoors“ placed Christian Ethiopia at number 22 on the World Watch List of Christian persecution – mind you, higher than notorious Christian persecutor states like Turkey, Palestinian Territories, Algeria, Kuwait, UAE, Indonesia, Bangladesh etc. Either they are ignorant and wicked or they have joined the luciferian forces to wage war against Orthodox Christians. It must be tempting for Satan to challenge the first Christian nation!

How primitive and boaring it has become that OpenDoors always puts North Korea (a Buddhist nation that doesn’t belong to Christians) at number 1 to appease the number one persecutors of Christians: Islamic countries. where Christians are indigenous.

The West’s Real Bigotry: Rejecting Persecuted Christians

Posted by addisethiopia on February 8, 2017

ishmael-a-wild-man

“Unfortunately, the West has rejected the idea of solidarity with the Christians of the Middle East, prioritizing diplomacy based on oil interests and the Arab-Israeli conflict. Thus, the United States, Britain, and France have largely ignored the persecutions of the Christians of Iraq, Lebanon, Egypt, and Sudan, while rushing to save the oil-rich Muslim states of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait…” — Hannibal Travis, Professor of Law, 2006.

Indigenous Christians in Iraq and Syria have not only been exposed to genocide at the hands of the Islamic State and other Islamist groups, but also their applications for immigration to Western countries have been put on the back-burner by, shamefully but not surprisingly, the UN.

When one brings up the issue of Western states taking in Muslim migrants from Syria and Iraq without vetting them for jihadist ties, while leaving behind the Christian and Yazidi victims of jihadists, one is accused of being “bigoted” or “racist”. But the real bigotry is abandoning the persecuted and benign Middle Eastern Christians and Yazidis, the main victims of the ongoing genocides in Syria and Iraq.

The German government is also rejecting applications for asylum of Christian refugees and deporting them unfairly, according to a German pastor.

Nearly a third of the respondents said that most of the discrimination and violence came mostly from refugee camp guards of Muslim descent.

It is high time that not only the U.S. but all other Western governments finally saw that the Christians in the Middle East are them.

Finally, after years of apathy and inaction, Washington is extending a much-needed helping hand to Middle Eastern Christians. U.S. President Donald Trump recently announced that persecuted Christians will be given priority when it comes to applying for refugee status in the United States.

Christians and Yazidis are being exposed to genocide at the hands of ISIS and other Islamist groups, who have engaged in a massive campaign to enslave the remnant non-Muslim minorities and to destroy their cultural heritage.

The scholar Hannibal Travis wrote in 2006:

“Unfortunately, the West has rejected the idea of solidarity with the Christians of the Middle East, prioritizing diplomacy based on oil interests and the Arab-Israeli conflict. Thus, the United States, Britain, and France have largely ignored the persecutions of the Christians of Iraq, Lebanon, Egypt, and Sudan, while rushing to save the oil-rich Muslim states of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, as well as besieged minority Kurds, Bosnians, and Kosovars. To this day, American troops in Iraq reportedly do not always intervene against the persecution of Christians, perhaps not wanting to be seen as ‘siding with the Christians’ and thus provoke retaliation.”

Then, the so-called liberals in the West — and even Christians — started pushing back against the move.

Indigenous Christians in Iraq and Syria have not only been exposed to genocide at the hands of the Islamic State (ISIS) and other Islamist groups but also their applications for immigration to Western countries have been put on the back burner by, shamefully but not surprisingly, the UN.

A group of Armenians from Iraq, for example, have fled their homes in Iraq after ISIS came. Instead they have gone to Yozgat, Turkey. The newspaper Agos ran a story about them on 21 December, 2015:

“They live in hard conditions. The UN could not schedule any appointment for immigration application before 2022. They don’t know how they can live in these conditions for 7 years. The only thing they want is to meet with their relatives.”

Yozgat, one of the Anatolian cities where Armenians were exposed to the most horrific murders and exile at the hands of Muslims during the 1915 genocide, is where Armenians find themselves again, this time struggling to survive in the midst of unemployment, poverty, harassment, intolerance, and illness.

Şant Garabedyan, 23, said that no jobs are given to Christians:

“I have been in Yozgat for two months. We are eight people in the same house…. Nobody hires me, because I am a Christian. My wife is Chaldean and doesn’t wear her pectoral cross because she is afraid.”

Alis Şalcıyan said that they left Iraq fearing ISIS.

“We have been here for a year. Back in Baghdad, we felt frightened, when ISIS came to Iraq…. Someone on the street saw my necklace and spat while looking into my eyes. After that, I took it off and kept it at home…. We filed an immigration application with the UN, but they scheduled an appointment for 2022, although they scheduled appointments for the next year for others. We must wait here for seven years.”

Ğazar Setrakyan said that they left Baghdad the night ISIS came to the city: “When ISIS militants came to Baghdad, they wrote ‘house of Christians’ on our door. It was impossible to stay there. We left our home and three shops, and we ran away.”

Lusin Sarkisyan said that her son, who had worked for Americans in Iraq, was targeted by ISIS. “One day, ISIS militants threatened my son saying that they would kill his family if he continues to work with Americans. We had to run away.”

Sarkisyan added that the UN officials scheduled an appointment for an immigration application for 2018. “I do not know what we are going to do until then.”

Even when European states take in Christian refugees, they fail to protect them from the attacks of Muslims in refugee housing facilities.

According to the findings of a survey from the Christian advocacy group Open Doors USA, refugees of Christian and Yazidi descent who fled persecution in places like Syria and Iraq keep facing other religiously motivated attacks in Germany.

Since February 2016, nearly 800 Christians and Yazidi refugees were attacked by others at the relief centers and camps, according to a report entitled, “Lack of protection for religious minorities in Germany” conducted from 15 February to 30 September, 2016.

“When questioned about the nature of the attacks, assault was named most often, followed by death threats, either directed directly at the Christian refugees or their family in Germany or in their home countries.

“44 people indicated that they had been victims of sexual assaults. Other forms of persecution include insults, general threats, and physical attacks that had not been defined as an assault. 11% of those questioned felt intimidated by loud music/prayers.”

According to the testimony of a male refugee from Iraq, he received death threats after Muslims saw that he was reading the Bible:

“They wanted me to convert back to Islam. The manager of the facility said that he is helpless and cannot protect me. As I feared for my life, I then reported it to a social worker who then wrote a report. The death threats increased. The interpreter tried to trivialize the threats and conceal them from the social welfare department. The department instructed the facility management to make more of an effort to ensure my safety. They were incapable of doing so and therefore I was moved into other accommodation.”

“Muslims said,” a refugee from Iran revealed, “that ‘Islam allows us to spill your blood’, ‘Your breath and your clothes are impure’.”

A female refugee from Iran stated:

“In the beginning they were all good to us. They then realized that I am a Christian. They took the dirty water they used to clean with and emptied it over us from the top floor…. I don’t know what happened after that anymore. […] To this day [17 days later] my statement has still not been recorded.”

Yazidis, who are a persecuted and indigenous religious minority in the Middle East, are also exposed to assaults and discrimination, according to the report.

“Of the 10 Yezidi refugees three of them received death threats, two experienced sexual harassment and five suffered other forms of persecution; six reported that these occurrences took place numerous times. In three cases the perpetrators were fellow refugees and in three further cases the security staffs’ relatives were the perpetrators. Five of the victims did not report anything because they deemed it useless.”

Staff members in the refugee facilities are also involved in the discrimination. Nearly a third of the respondents said that most of the discrimination and violence came mostly from refugee-center guards of Muslim descent. According to the report:

“In the case of conflict, a large amount of the Muslim staff show their solidarity towards fellow Muslims, obstruct or trivialize the complaints. Interpreters influence the outcome of the asylum procedures in an unlawful way and sometimes they are even actively involved in the discrimination inside the facilities.”

A Christian from Iran said:

“I had a problem and reported it at the Info point again and again. There is someone there that always insults our mothers and sister. He said we are ‘neciz’ [impure].”

“The security service staff are all Arabs and they only help the Arabs,” said a Christian from Eritrea. “Whenever somebody does something wrong in the accommodation, they say: ‘It was the Christians’ even if we had done nothing.”

Only in the rarest cases would the aggrieved actually file a complaint (17% / 129 people) to the police, according to the report.

“If you include the reports and complaints presented to the facility management, then only 28% (213) sought the protection of the German authorities. 54% of those questioned (399) gave specific reasons for not filing any complaints: 48% of them were afraid, especially for fear of repeated attacks or that the situation would even get worse (36%). Other reasons were that there were no safe opportunities to contact or communicate with the police or the respective authorities because of language barriers (14%) and the impression that the report would be pointless anyhow.”

In other European states — including Austria, Switzerland, France, United Kingdom, Sweden, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, and Greece — Christian and Yazidi refugees are also exposed to attacks at the hands of refugees of Muslim descent.

The German government is also rejecting applications for asylum of Christian refugees and deporting them unfairly, according to a German pastor.

Dr. Gottfried Martens, a pastor at Trinity Lutheran Church in Berlin, reported that the German government is rejecting almost all applications for asylum from most of his church’s Iranian and Afghan refugee members, who have waited years in Germany for the government to hear their cases, according to CBN News.

Melkite Greek Catholic archbishop of Aleppo, Jean-Clément Jeanbart, said in an interview:

“The egoism and the interests slavishly defended by your governments will in the end kill you, as well. Open your eyes. Didn’t you see what happened recently in Paris?”

Apparently, they did not. They still seem to live in denial. According to the U.S. government figures, of the almost 11,000 Syrian refugees admitted to the United States in fiscal 2016, only 56 were Christian.

It is true that Shia Muslims and even some Sunni Muslims — particularly secular, non-observant or moderate ones — are also threatened by the Islamic State. But ISIS and other Islamist organizations are not trying to destroy Islam and Muslims. On the contrary, they aim to further institutionalize Islam and even expand Islamic influence to other lands and establish a Caliphate (Islamic empire) based on Islamic scriptures.

Helping religious minorities in the Muslim world is not just a humanitarian issue, but also a political issue of vital importance to the West. Some people might think that the U.S. or the West should not get engaged in Middle Eastern politics.

But if the West continues turning a blind eye to the Islamic radicalization of the Middle East and North Africa, what does it expect will happen to it?

As long as Islamists keep winning “victories” across nations and as long as Christians and other non-Muslims continue to be exterminated, Islamists will gain more power and courage to expand to Europe and other parts of the world.

Radical Islamic ideology never stops where it takes over. It is a genocidal, imperialistic and colonialist ideology. It aims to murder or subjugate all non-Muslims under its rule. Islamic jihad started in the 7th century, in the Arabian Peninsula. Then through massacres and social pressure, including the jizya tax and the institution of dhimmitude, it expanded to three continents — Asia, Africa and Europe — and persecuted countless indigenous peoples.

It seems that one of the most effective ways to stop this pattern is to support Christians and other non-Muslims in the Middle East. The West would not only gain a significant ally in the Middle East, but also the political, military, and economic influence of Islamists will be weakened.

Western countries should welcome Christians and Yazidis — the main targets of genocide — to the West immediately, and also consider ways to empower them in their native lands, such as by creating safe havens for them. It is high time that not only the U.S. but all other Western governments finally saw that the Christians in the Middle East are them.

Turkey Is Preparing To Invade Syria And Will Commence War With Russia And Spark World War III

Posted by addisethiopia on February 7, 2016

Russia has serious grounds to suspect Turkey of preparing for a military incursion in Syria.

We have serious grounds to suspect intensive preparations by Turkey for a military invasion on the territory of the sovereign state of Syria,” Major General Igor Konashenkov, Defense Ministry spokesman, told journalists. “We are recording more and more signs of concealed preparations by the Turkish military,” he added. And to top it all, Turkey just killed a Russian military advisor in Syria.

SO WHAT SHOULD WE EXPECT

Many object doubting; ‘how can Turkey play the role of Antichrist’, they ask, especially when we all know that Antichrist must control the world superpowers?

This naive question ignores that much of the West plays into his hands, at least in the beginning. While at times we fear Al-Jazeera or Russian TV, few focus on the giants who know that war is on the horizon. To prepare the minds of the West for Russia-hatred in anticipation for World War III, the BBC concocted a fictitious vision of the future compiled by even using “western strategists” in which Russia invades Latvia and then launches a nuclear strike on Great Britain. Shamelessly the BBC has premiered the brainwashing show titled World War Three: Inside the War Room.

While the western media giants plant fiction against Russia, Major General Igor Konashenkov told journalists: “Such steps carried out by a country [Turkey], which is a NATO member state, in no way contribute to the strengthening of trust and security in Europe.”

To the Russians and to serious prophecy students, Europe is in danger from Turkey and not from Russia. The Orthodox Russians know it, and reality will hit a few years from now, while the naive forget the Siege of Vienna in 1529 by the Ottoman Empire, led by Suleiman the Magnificent which signaled the pinnacle of the Ottoman Empire’s power and the maximum extent of Ottoman expansion in central Europe.

Yet the deceptive devils, in the nearly one hour long program, which premiered on Wednesday on the UK’s BBC Two channel, features a war room packed with former top British military and diplomats playing a war game on the European continent. BBC said that their Armageddon scenario was “developed over many months of research and in consultation with military, diplomatic and political experts around the world”. A ground offensive against “Putin’s troops” is launched by the US and UK, the show suggests, after which according to the BBC, Russia pushes the red button and launches a nuclear strike on a Royal Navy warship, before the war room is told that Putin has mapped London as the next target and by that it sparks Armageddon.

Britain is back to its old habit in being number one globally in spreading propaganda. British historian and Russia analyst Martin McCauley said: “That is called psychological warfare. The way you influence people is by repetition, keeping on with saying the same thing. If you represent Russia as a bad boy and president Putin as an ogre, the one who just threatens the world peace, gradually people will accept that.” Norway showed its most expensive television series, the ‘Okkupert’ (Occupied), featuring Russian invasion into Norway.

The laity do not realize that they are simply part of a grand experiment. Making conspiracy theories into reality has been the game played for war preparation from time immemorial, especially by the English who carried out such propaganda from as far back when Catholic Italy and Spain fought the Ottomans. The false propaganda machine still permeates much of the American Christian mindset where they historically viewed Catholic Italy and Catholic Spain and today Orthodox Russia with a plethora of Antichrist and Gogesk imagery.

Russia, unlike the U.S. and the propaganda machine of the BBC has foresight and knows that Turkey, not Russia will threaten Europe.

This is why we do not expect the West to support Putin in the coming Russian-Turkish war in Syria. Mark my words, we will hear that Russia is the most ‘corrupt kleptocratic regime in the world’, and we will hear the similar call to end Saddam Hussein’s invasion of Kuwait echoed again telling Putin to exit from Syria.

It will be a repeat of the U.S. optimism during the Arab Spring. The West will ignore Turkey’s aggression and focus on Russia’s interference in the Syrian affairs regardless that Russia was legally invited by Syria. Who can deny that such Arab Spring optimism gave way to chaos and Islamist violence across once-stable parts of the Middle East and North Africa?

Turkey knows that it cannot control Syria without Muslim terrorists and is why the Russian Air Force has conducted 302 sorties targeting 1,093 terrorist targets from December 18-23 alone and by that they defeated Turkey’s plans to become the regional superpower.

The Russian-Turkish conflict in Syria is not going to be an easy one for either party. If Russia threatens to cripple Turkey by cutting-off the gas supplies, it will also hurt Russia’s economy while Muslim Azerbaijan will gladly provide Turkey with a new gas-hookup bringing the Turkic states closer to Istanbul and further from Moscow. On the other hand, the increasing Muslim global menace is the fire necessary for Christendom’s refinement, unity, and even bringing Jerusalem (which no longer trusts Turkey) closer to Cyprus.

This conflict is the new equilibrium that will create the neo-Ottoman hegemony to form the nations of Ezekiel 38. The crucial factor to be considered is that if Turkey and Russia had a full out blown war in Syria, Turkey will initially be the victor. Putin’s military options are constrained. He has only limited forces in Syria and the Trans-Caucasus area bordering Turkey, while Ankara has the second-largest fleet of F-16s in the world and the second-largest army in NATO. It also has logistical and geographical advantages that include control of the Dardanelles and the Bosporus, Russia’s egress to Syria.

But even if Turkey initially wins, it will eventually be crushed by Russia, but only in the end. This is rooted in history stretching back to the Ottoman Empire. At one point or another, the Ottoman Turks ruled over or defeated all of modern Turkey’s neighbors except Russia. Between the fifteenth century, when the Ottoman and Russian Empires became neighbors, and 1917, the year of the Bolshevik revolution, the two peoples fought at least seventeen long wars, all of them instigated — and won — by the Russians.

But in the meanwhile the conflict will regroup Turkey’s ancient allies. Russia, with its deep political, economic, and military ties to Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, has been unable to get these to stand against Turkey over the Syria issue. The Russia-Turkish conflict will further catapult Turkey with its sister nations (originally Ottoman) to come closer together.

Such resurrection of the dead Ottoman Empire will be the revival of the greatest threat to Israel and Christendom. This will magnetize Christendom back where it will bring Russia and Armenia (biblical Ararat, Mini and Ashkenaz) and the eastern European block, closer together, where in the end, they will join the battle with Russia against Turkey. Today we see the Muslim flood into Europe causing a likely referendum where the Visegrad group of countries (Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic), the strongest critics of EU migrant policies to soon split. It will be the formation of two regional players where a Christendom block will form (primarily Catholic/Orthodox) to thwart the neo-Ottomans, while Germany, England and the U.S. will repeat the same history of Lepanto when the Lutherans and the Calvinists stood with the Ottoman Muslims in the beginning of the war.

WHY MANY SO-CALLED CHRISTIANS WILL BE LEFT OUT

People get confused as to how prophecy unfolds. The second coming will have the same two party lines as the first coming. One party thought that Messiah comes riding on a horse coming to defeat the Romans, while the other party examined the text to only conclude the man in Jerusalem riding that donkey is their Messiah.

One party lost salvation while the other party won their salvation.

From Genesis (Cain and Abel) until Christ’s second coming God always divided between two (sheep and goats). This Second Coming, messing up, has eternal consequences. This is why Christ refers to this time as the virgins with oil and virgins without. The faulty prophetic scenarios drawn by many will cause the party of the lost to miss the hour of the second visitation.

Interpretation has eternal consequences and is why it should be decided by a few. Just to show how interpretation has eternal consequences I will give but one example. Many teach that the Antichrist is recognized when he initiates a peace-treaty with Israel. But if we ask, where is this “peace treaty with Israel” in the Bible? They would instantly refer to Daniel 9:27.

But what we find in Daniel 9:27 is that there is no mention of Israel. This covenant is more of the same type of allegiance Muslims gave to Caliph Al-Baghdadi of ISIS which will switch soon to the Ottomans. Daniel says: “He will confirm a covenant”. This is not a “peace treaty”. And he confirms it with “many”. This is not with “Israel” as has been claimed. Revelations 13 even confirm this: “They [the ten horns] give their power and authority (allegiance) to the beast” (Revalation 17:16).

Israel can never be one of the ten horns. No where does Scripture ever teach that Israel will give allegiance to the Antichrist. Israel, just as Christendom, will be “refined through fire” (Zechariah 13:9, 1 Pet 1:7) to becoming closer to Christ and further from the Antichrist. This is the equilibrium where no matter what the devil does, God always wins. There is zero mention of Israel in these verses. Daniel 9:27 speaks of the entry to the Temple (he never mentions a Temple in the Jerusalem) and we should consider Hagia Sophia which was considered the Temple of the Word (Christ). Daniel 9:27 speaks of abolishing the Eucharist “GRAIN OFFERING”. This will include the “WINE OFFERING” since alcohol is prohibited in Islam.

cross-699617_1280

These ten kings will make a covenant with the man of sin. This is not a peace-treaty between Israel and the Antichrist, but is the formation of the “league” (Ezekiel 30:5) which some of the states are spelled out by name including Egypt and Libya and with Isaiah 17, Damascus is doomed because this one too is in the realm of Antichrist.

So why does believing in a seven-year peace treaty between Israel and the Antichrist have eternal consequences?

The answer is simple. The devil, by such an interpretation, is tempting (the five lost virgins if you will) to commit “spiritual suicide”. As a result of the Russian-Turkish fallout, Israel is moving further from making a peace-treaty with Turkey and is clinging to Greece. This makes the virgins-without-oil see Greece as the Antichrist instead of Turkey. This is why the devil works at the BBC painting Putin as Gog.

It is the same with the lost virgins who see Russia as Gog/Magog and the Vatican as “harlot”. Israel, as it seems, is getting closer to Greece and is getting further from U.S NATO ally Turkey.

The conflict between Russia and Turkey is bringing what used to be Christendom closer together. Greek Cyprus and Russia are finalizing a deal that would allow Russian military jets to use Greek Cypriot airports in case of emergency. This will drag Greece into the war. So it looks like Israel is getting closer to what was Christendom rather than Islamdom. While Greece is currently fallen-away from the faith, this will eventually change (just as in Russia), so when Turkey persecutes it, the lost biblical gymnasts will hail Turkey over Greece, Turkey over Russia, Turkey over Rome … all the while they see the Muslims as the instrument of God.

And it is for these reasons that the five virgins with no oil have a difficult time weighing Islam in the prophetic equation.

The Turkish-Russian tension is not paving a road to Israeli reconciliation with Ankara.

This is why it is crucial to heed Christ’s instruction in these times. The sons of satan, just like the five lost virgins, also use and interpret Scripture to only end up with the five virgin without oil commit spiritual suicide.

The devil, like many today who run to and fro love to quote Scripture like a biblical gymnast. The first uttering from the devil to Jesus was when he tempted Christ quoting Psalm 91:11 as explained in Matthew 4:6:

If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down. For it is written [in Psalm 91:11]: “‘He will command his angels concerning you, and they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’”

The devil, by using Psalm 91:11, wanted Christ to unintentionally commit suicide by adding what was not in the text “throw yourself down”. Deception could either be intentional or unintentional, yet it matters not, since both are identified as deceivers according to scripture, and all claiming faithful need to examine continually their own hearts (Psalm 26:2, Psalm 129:23).

Geneva’s historic and spiritual divide with Rome, includes with it some wild traditional interpretations, that stems from historic time with England’s propaganda machine. Today nothing changed. We have many who stand with Turkey instead of Christian Russia. You can tell the virgins without oil from their ad nauseam statements, spin after spin, of demonically influenced web of contentions, that are always presented as if they are “simple” claiming that they are straight from the “Bible” and that “all I need is Jesus” and we should only “focus on the essentials”.

There is not one single verse with “thus says the Lord” that is non-essential. This is the devil’s lie. Prophecy is given to us to learn which side we stand with.

The lazy always gripes over Muslims flooding Europe with Muslim immigrants (Revelation 11-12), while forgetting the Red Dragon behind this flood. I always run into divisive devils who tell us to hate Russia, China and to focus on the European Union and Greece with Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras as the enemies of God.

These devils exist on the top of the Republican party down to pastors with Hawaiian shirts selling their wares using mass-marketing schemes. The devil is effecting the elections as we see it and is why I am for Protestant Donald Trump who sees that Russia and the Arab nationalists as not the enemy, who sees China as an economic issue and not a military threat. The ascetic Greek Orthodox monk Saint Paisios predicted that:

There will be war between Russia and Turkey. In the beginning the Turks will believe they are winning, but this will lead to their destruction. The Russians, eventually, will win and take over Constantinople.”

It is just as we alluded to earlier, Turkey will win first, and Russia later. Saint Paisios is correct. Turkey in the short-run will pack tremendous problems for Russia, but Russia in the long-run will prevail (Daniel 11:44).

We can already hear the drumbeats of war. While the sounds of it are low, just wait, it will soon thunder.

Sunday Best: Flocks Don Orange to Support Middle East Christians

Posted by addisethiopia on June 4, 2015

HolyOrange

Orange is the new color for Sundays, as the movement to wear the color either in clothing or on ribbons – to raise attention to the Christians executed by ISIS.

The trend was popularized by several Christian leaders, including Catholic writer Rey Flores, who declared ‘Orange is the New Color of Martyrdom’ in an article for The Wanderer. Flores has worked to draw attention to the #orangejumpsuit project run by Rev. Patrick Mahoney, who leads the Church on the Hill in Washington, D.C.

Pastor Frank Bolella, of Living Word Community Church, in Dumont, N.J., said his church is participating because the campaign is a good way to get parishioners talking about persecution of Christians.

“Americans need to be aware first of all what is happening,” he said.

One congregant, John Estrada, said wearing orange made him feel like he was taking action.

“The reason why I am wearing an orange shirt is to represent the Christian brothers and sisters that are being persecuted,” Estrada said.

Lydia O’Leary, of Ribbons for Rescue, aims to encourage people to call on lawmakers to provide more financial assistance for Christian refugees in the Middle East and offer them safe havens in the U.S. Her group advocates Christians wear orange every day to draw more attention to Christian prisoners persecuted for their religion.

We call on people to wear orange daily,” O’Leary told FoxNews.com. It says “we’re standing with you on this—you’re not alone.”

The color orange was chosen to represent the color of the jumpsuits worn by Christians seen executed on videos produced by Islamic State militants. In February, twenty Egyptian Coptic Christians captured in Libya were beheaded on a beach. Ethiopian Christians have also been seen martyred in ISIS videos.

Eurarabia in the making: France and Europe first replace hardworking Jews with lazy Arabs, and then sever ties with Israel

After CEO’s Anti-Semitism, Orange ‘Dumps’ Israel

Orange

Orange

Orange cuts ties with Israel, as Israeli embassy demands French authorities condemn statement of French Orange CEO.

The French cell phone company Orange announced on Thursday afternoon that it has decided to halt its operations in Israel and end its partnership with the Israeli company Partner, which franchises Orange’s name in Israel.

The dramatic move comes as Israel is launching a political campaign in response to the insulting comments made Wednesday by Stephane Richard, CEO of Orange, in which he said he wished he could “dump” Israel “tomorrow,” which he in fact did.

“Orange doesn’t want to continue to hold its brand name in countries in which it isn’t the direct provider. Therefore, Orange is interested in putting an end to giving permits to (use) its brand name,” read the Orange statement announcing the move.

Partner issued a sharp response on Wednesday, and starting Thursday morning Israel’s embassy in France has been taking action on the issue, and Israels’ Ambassador has contacted the French Foreign Ministry and Finance Ministry demanding clarification.

The Israeli Ambassador to France, Yossi Gal, expressed how seriously Israel views the comments of the French company’s CEO, and called on the French authorities to condemn the remarks.

“The embassy is working intensively with all the relevant sources to get immediate clarifications on the serious words, and is clarifying the seriousness we attribute to the issue,” said Gal.

In his statements, made at a Cairo press conference, Richard said he would “tomorrow” end his company’s association with its Israeli partner, saying, “we want to terminate this and to fix this, we don’t want it. In the existing contract, it gives us the option to terminate this without exposing this to a huge financial risk. If you were the CEO of this company you would act the same.”

Call to boycott in response

In parallel to the embassy, several Jewish organizations in France have launched a wave of protest, with some of them urging French Jews to cut their service with Orange.

Culture and Sports Minister Miri Regev (Likud) responded to the statements as well, calling on French President Francois Hollande to immediately fire Richard if he does not apologize for his anti-Semitic comments.

“On the backdrop of the recent serious events in France, the French government must show zero tolerance for anti-Semitism,” said Regev, referencing the growing wave of anti-Semitic violence in the country that was highlighted in January by a Muslim jihadist holding a kosher supermarket hostage in Paris and murdering four Jews.

The minister added, “I call on Jews of France and the world to disconnect from Orange unless Stephane Richard takes back his words. The time has come for them to understand that Jews in the world and sane voices that oppose anti-Semitism and racism also have power.”

“It’s important for me to note that the Israeli public must not turn Partner into a victim of this statement,” she warned, referencing the Israeli Orange cell phone provider. “Partner is is an Israeli company that employs thousands of workers in Israel, and I wish to strengthen its management and workers.”

Christians Killed by ISIS While Western States That Defeated Gaddafi Just Watch: Gulf States and Turkey

Posted by addisethiopia on May 13, 2015

Takfiri Islamist barbarians have killed 30 Ethiopian Christians. This follows on from an earlier massacre of Coptic Christians from Egypt by ISIS Islamists that kill in the name of Allah – contrary to the political correct version by President Obama. America, France and the United Kingdom – and a host of other nations – involved in the overthrow of Colonel Gaddafi are just standing by and enabling this to happen. After all, the Sunni Islamist Takfiri vacuum was opened by NATO powers and some Gulf feudal powers that participated in creating a failed state in Libya.

The Libya model of manipulating language was implemented but the reality was yet another Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya. Syria is bravely fighting the same Western and Gulf intrigues that sprout empty words like “justice,” “freedom” and “democracy.” Similarly, the Shia Houthis in Yemen now face a similar style of “humanitarian bombing campaign” based on a Sunni Muslim coalition being led by Saudi Arabia.

However, in Afghanistan it was America, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom – and other Gulf feudal monarchies – that ushered in the international jihadist brigade by training these brutal Sunni Islamist Takfiri barbarians. Covert agencies like the CIA, ISI and MI6 from America, Pakistan, and the United Kingdom respectively, helped to train and give military support to international jihadists in the 1980s and early 1990s. In Libya and Syria (notably applies to Turkey) the CIA, DGSE, MI6 and MIT have all been involved – and continue to be involved in Syria – in brutal intrigues that are helping to create vacuums for al-Qaeda affiliates and ISIS. It matters not if this is an intended or unintended reality because ultimately al-Qaeda and ISIS are filling the vacuums that are being created.

Therefore, the brutal slaughter of Ethiopian Christians by ISIS was paved by the nations that destroyed Libya. Of course, the mantra of “democracy,” “freedom” and “liberty” ushered by America, France and the United Kingdom was always propaganda. Sadly, this propaganda was fully backed by major Western and Gulf media outlets and the same forces especially played the same card against Syria during the first few years of destabilization. Recently, more media outlets are questioning Ankara, Doha London, Paris, Riyadh and Washington in their co-conspiracy against secular Syria. After all, it is clear that the government of Syria is protecting the religious mosaic comprised of Muslims, Christians and the Druze from the utter barbarity of the intrigues of Qatar, Turkey and Saudi Arabia (assisted by America, France and the United Kingdom).

The Guardian reports on the latest massacre of Christians by ISIS Takfiri barbarians by stating: “Islamic State has released a video purporting to depict the massacre of 30 Ethiopians, the second incident of mass slaughter of Christians by the terror group in its redoubt in Libya.”

This media agency continues “The beheadings and shootings publicised by the group are the latest assault on minorities across the Middle East, thousands of whom have been forced to abandon ancestral homes to flee the group’s broadening reach in the region.”

It should be noted that Egyptian and Ethiopian Christianity are much older than Islam therefore the “crusader” claptrap is just pure religious hatred and clear racism. Indeed, the one thing that binds certain Western countries, Turkey and Arab states together is that in history Arabs, Europeans and the Turks enslaved the continent of Africa. Therefore, the indigenous Coptics of Egypt and the various communities that exist in Ethiopia are truly sons of Africa. Despite this, ISIS continues with its anti-Christian, anti-Shia and anti-humanity crusade, in order to destroy many civilizations that are a million times higher than the barbaric Islamist Takfiri barbarianism that they peddle.

ISIS states openly in their brutal video that: “To the nation of the cross, we’re back again… We swear to Allah…you will not have safety in your dreams until you embrace Islam.”

ISIS continues: “We tell Christians everywhere that the Islamic State will spread, God willing… It will reach you even if you are in fortresses. Those who embrace Islam or jizya will be safe. But those who refuse … will have nothing from us but the edge of the sword. The men will be killed, the women and children enslaved, and the money seized. That is Allah and the prophet’s judgment.”

The above comments and the obvious reality of ISIS, Boko Haram, al-Nusra, AQAP, the Taliban, al-Shabaab – and an array of other Sunni Islamist Takfiri groups – are all clearly Islamist. Their binding realities are Islamic Sharia law and their utter hatred towards the Shia and religious diversity. This reality, and the fact that Saudi Arabia will not tolerate one single Christian church and supports killing apostates, makes a mockery of President Obama and other international leaders who keep on claiming that the problem doesn’t have religious dimensions. On the contrary, systematic persecution of religious minorities takes place in nations like Pakistan while all non-Muslim faiths are banned in Saudi Arabia.

Indigenous Sunni Islam in nations like Bangladesh, Libya, Iraq, Somalia and Syria are also on the frontline. This is based on Salafi Islam and the “year zero end game of Takfiri mindsets” that emanate in Saudi Arabia based on the austere and brutal versions of Islam that they follow. Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia are nations whereby Gulf petrodollars are spreading hatred far and wide irrespective if state sponsored, organizations, false charities or based on wealthy individuals. If this reality isn’t challenged – alongside the brutal intrigues of powerful Western nations and Gulf monarchies – then more parts of the world will face the Islamist Takfiri sword.

France and Petrodollars: Saudi Arabia, Syria, Yemen, Killing the Shia and Christianity

PetroDSyria once was a land of unhindered Christian churches just like Iraq prior to outside meddling. However, the Christian faith now in Syria is facing the Gulf petrodollar abyss that is being assisted by NATO Turkey. Despite this, and in the full knowledge that Christianity is illegal in Saudi Arabia, President Hollande of France once more decided to turn everything upside down. Therefore, Hollande, who is on the alleged side of democracy based on terrorism and sectarianism by stealth in Syria, is now lauding the unity of France with the most despotic Gulf monarchies in the world.

The mirror of despotic Saudi Arabia is being replicated in Syria. After all, various Takfiri terrorist groups are crushing Christianity in Syria therefore this faith faces being eradicated and made illegal just like in Saudi Arabia. Of course, Hollande knows full well what is happening to the Christian minority in Iraq and Syria. Similarly, the leader of France knows that ISIS (Islamic State – IS) is beheading Christians for video campaigns in Libya, despite the promise of democracy by France, America and the United Kingdom in post-Gaddafi Libya.

Equally alarming, Hollande who is hyping the Iran threat in order to obtain much needed Gulf petrodollars, fully understands that recent terrorist attacks in France belongs to the forces of Sunni Islamist militancy. Therefore, the leader of France knows that the internal threat is being inspired by the Salafi year zero Gulf version of Islam. Given this, then why is Hollande sleepwalking into the internal and external threat against secularism that is being eulogized by many in nations like Qatar and Saudi Arabia?

The Shia Houthis are at a loss to why America, France, and the United Kingdom, are selling their collective souls by supporting the Saudi Arabia led coalition against this religious community in Yemen. Similarly, in Syria the religious mosaic is being threatened by powerful NATO powers that have sided with feudal Gulf monarchies in the destabilization of this nation.

This reality means that religious minorities in Syria including the Alawites, Christians, the Shia, and the Druze, all face the same reality of what is happening in Iraq. Indeed, it is notable that while the Sunni dominated Saudi Arabia led coalition can bombard the Shia Houthis in Yemen daily; the same Saudi Arabia doesn’t care much about al-Qaeda affiliates and ISIS in Iraq and Syria. Of course, this isn’t surprising because various sectarian and Takfiri terrorist groups are being propped up in Syria with NATO Turkey being the open conduit for international jihadists alongside Gulf petrodollars.

Hollande, not too concerned by the Sunni Islamist Takfiri threat at home based on his open arms to feudal nations that fuel Salafi indoctrination, is now showing his true colors by siding with Gulf feudal states against the Shia Houthis in Yemen. Indeed, while the UN (United Nations) is increasingly becoming disillusioned by the Saudi led bombing of Yemen, the government of France merely seeks to make more military sales to feudal Gulf powers. This shocking behavior says much about the foreign policy objectives of France in recent times.

The current UN Humanitarian Coordinator for Yemen, Johannes Van Der Kaauw, stated “I strongly urge the coalition to stop targeting Sanaa international airport and to preserve this important lifeline – and all other airports and seaports – so that humanitarians can reach all those affected by the armed conflict in Yemen.”

On top of this, reports stress that the Saudi Arabia led coalition is now using cluster bombs in the ongoing bombardment of Yemen. Irrespective of this, and the role of nations like Qatar in Libya and Syria involving the funding of various Takfiri Islamist sectarian groups, France is closing its eyes to this reality. Therefore, while Christians, and other minorities are being cleansed in Syria, the only concern for France is to support feudal Gulf monarchies that are behind this reality alongside other nations like Turkey.

US Denies Visa to Nun Set to Testify About ISIS Atrocities

Posted by addisethiopia on May 2, 2015

deniedAll but one of the members of an Iraqi delegation of minority groups—comprising representatives of the Yazidi and Turkmen Shia religious communities—have been granted visas to come for official meetings in Washington. The lone member denied a visa was the only Iraqi Christian in the group, a Catholic nun.

Nina Shea, director of Hudson Institute’s Center for Religious Freedom, reported Thursday that the U.S. State Department prevented a persecuted Iraqi Catholic nun named Sister Diana Momeka, “an internationally respected and leading representative of the Nineveh Christians who have been killed and deported by ISIS,” from coming to Washington to testify.

Sister Diana is a member of the Dominican Sisters of Saint Catherine of Siena, a Catholic order of nuns that traces its presence in Iraq back to the thirteenth century.

The nun is uniquely qualified to testify to Islamic State atrocities in Iraq. When Mosul was overrun by Islamic extremists in June 2014, about 500,000 civilians left the city en masse, in an effort to escape the siege. At that time, the only group that chose to remain in Mosul was the Dominican Sisters of St. Catherine of Siena, “a congregation of Iraqi sisters that has witnessed generation upon generation of war and carnage.”

On Tuesday, however, the U.S. consulate in Erbil told Sister Diana that her visa application had been denied, stating that she was unable “to demonstrate that [her] intended activities in the United States would be consistent with the classification of the visa.”

The nun told Nina Shea she was informed she was rejected because she is an “IDP,” an Internally Displaced Person. In other words, the State Department suspected that the Catholic nun could be secretly intending to stay in the United States.

Never mind that Sister Diana already had meetings set up with the Senate and House Foreign Relations Committees, the State Department, USAID, and several NGOs, or that she submitted several documents attesting to her character, as well as the temporary nature of her stay in the U.S.

She is, in fact, contracted to teach at the Babel College of Philosophy and Theology in Erbil, Kurdistan, for the 2015–16 academic year.

Moreover, Sister Diana had already been permitted to visit the United States, and she delivered the commencement address at Chicago’s Catholic Theological Union in 2012.

According to Shea, the nun has become internationally known as a spokesperson for the over 100,000 Christians driven into Kurdistan under the ISIS “convert or die” policy. Former Congressman Frank Wolf (R. – Va.) met her in Kurdistan a few months ago and agreed to sponsor her trip to the U.S. to tell her story.

The U.S. continues to screw the Christians of the Middle East, especially the defenseless Assyrians-Chaldeans-Syriacs of iraq and Syria. It started with the British and continued unabated with the U.S. They thought these two super powers were Christian and would stand behind them. They turned out to be the Devil and they do everything they can to erase the glorious Assyrians. They are responsible for ISIS who is not only driving these people out of their homes but also erasing their heritage by blowing up places like Nimrud, Khorsabad, etc. There will be hell to pay one day”

U.N. Rebuked For ‘Apathy’ Toward Slaughtered Christians

Posted by addisethiopia on April 23, 2015

A woman cries at a gathering for the 30 Ethiopian victims killed by members of the militant Islamic State in Libya, in the capital Addis Ababa

UNITED NATIONS – Ambassadors, businessmen and religious leaders of all faiths gathered at the United Nations in New York on Friday for a high-level summit on the persecution of Christians around the world and the threat it poses to international peace and security.

Some 200 million Christians in 60 countries have been oppressed, abused or murdered solely because they are Christian. Fourteen of the world’s 15 most repressive countries for Christians are Muslim countries. Churches are bombed, often while worshipers are inside. Christians are kidnapped, brutalized, raped, sold into sex slavery, mutilated, shot, beheaded or burned alive.

Rabbi Jonathan Cahn, retired Lt. Gen. William Boykin and activist Brigitte Gabriel delivered keynote speeches. Panels of faith leaders delivered personal reports from the front lines of persecution and addressed issues including ISIS, the media’s role in the plight of persecuted Christians and what churches are doing globally to bring attention to the problem.

In his opening speech, Rabbi Jonathan Cahn, best-selling author of “The Harbinger,” drew a parallel between the persecution of Christians and the case of Kitty Genovese, a New York woman who was murdered outside her apartment while her neighbors ignored her screams outside their windows.

Another crime is taking place outside our closed windows,” Cahn said.

He described Christians as “the most persecuted religious group on earth.”

They are oppressed, they afflicted, they are hunted down, they are killed men women and children, the sacrificial lambs of the modern world,” he said.

While calling for global action to stop the slaughter,Cahn told WND there is another lesson to be learned.

This is a sign of the last days,” he said. “The Bible says there will be persecution. Not only do we have to speak up for those in chains, the Bible says, but we have to realize that this is a harbinger of things to come. We have to learn from the persecuted believer how to be strong in a society and culture that is against the gospel. So we have to speak up for them, but we have to be ready to walk in their shoes.”

Donning a prayer shawl, Rabbi Cahn delivered the Hebrew blessing for those persecuted for the faith.

May the Lord hold you in the palm of His hand” and bring “peace in the midst of conflict,” he said.

Watch Rabbi Cahn at the U.N.:

Brigitte Gabriel, founder and CEO of ACT for America, one of the organizers of the summit, brought the audience to tears. Growing up Christian in Lebanon where Islamists bombed her home, she learned “that only three kinds of people existed in the world: killers, victims and bystanders.”

She said her experience gave her a fierce determination to fight evil, apathy and indifference. Gabriel shocked the assembly with the story of a mother searching for her kidnapped son in ISIS-held territory.

ISIS fighters gave her some meat to eat and water to drink,” she said. “When she asked about her son, they answered laughing, ‘You’ve just eaten him.’”

But she leveled the harshest condemnation at the organization hosting the gathering.

Christians slaughtered by evil feel abandoned by humanity, forsaken by the world’s conscience and rendered dead by the apathy of the United Nations,” Gabriel said.

The United Nations’ Security Council is, as usual, impotent. And while the Human Rights Council ceaselessly foams at the mouth about perceived Israeli violations of Palestinians’ rights, it doesn’t seem to notice documented massacres of Christians by Muslims all over the world.”

Gabriel said it’s “time to call evil by its name: Islamic jihadists killing in the name of their religion.”

It’s time to throw political correctness in the garbage. It’s time to silence the apologists for evil including members of the United Nations,” she said.

The issue, she said, is actually greater than the persecution of Christians.

Radical Islamists seek to subjugate everyone who does not adhere to its version of ‘religion,’” she said. “Just because we are not at war with radical Islam does not mean that radical Islam is not at war with us. Pretending that war does not exist only ensures our defeat. The consequences of that defeat will be catastrophic for the civilized world.”

The Time Is Coming That Whoever Kills You Will Think That He Is Offering A Service To God’

Posted by addisethiopia on April 20, 2015

How do you deal with psychotic religious warriors that believe that they are offering a service to God by killing Christians?

Ever since 9/11, we were endlessly told about what a great threat “al-Qaeda” was, but I don’t remember a single time when al-Qaeda ever marched a group of Christians out and beheaded them on camera. ISIS appears to be an entirely different animal than al-Qaeda ever was, and it is about time that we started taking them seriously.

But the Obama administration is actually allowing Americans that went overseas to fight for ISIS to come back into the country and resume their normal lives. To me, that is absolutely insane. These are people that believe that they score major points with their god when they kill us. And they especially seem to relish the opportunity to kill Christians. Sadly, this is all part of a rising trend of Christian persecution all over the planet. Christian churches are being burned to the ground in places such as Egypt, India and West Africa, and earlier this month we witnessed a horrific incident during which more than a hundred Christians were mercilessly gunned down in Kenya. It is becoming increasingly dangerous to be a Christian, and it is only going to get worse in the years ahead.

You have to keep in mind that these ISIS fighters are actually convinced that they are the good guys. They don’t believe that what they are doing is evil. When they kill Christians, they are just doing what they believe their god wants them to do

A shocking new video appearing to show at least 30 Christian Ethiopians being beheaded and shot by ISIS in Libya has been released.

The 29-minute video, titled ‘Until It Came To Them – Clear Evidence’, shows dozens of militants holding two separate groups captive, thought to be in the south and the west of the country.

At least 16 men, described by Islamic State as the ‘followers of the cross from the enemy Ethiopian Church’, are lined up and shot in a desert area while 12 others are filmed being forced to walk down a beach before being beheaded.

This follows another video in February of the beheading of a group of 21 Coptic Christians on the beach in Libya, though that terrain was rockier than the one shown in the latest film.

This video that was released makes it abundantly clear what these killers are motivated by. The following description of the audio on this latest ISIS video comes from CNN

All praise be to Allah, the Lord and cherisher of the world and may peace and blessings be upon the Prophet Mohammed. To the nation of the cross, we are back again on the sands, where the companions of the Prophet, peace be upon him, have stepped on before, telling you: Muslim blood that was shed under the hands of your religion is not cheap,” the narrator says in Arabic on the 30-minute video.

The narrator continues, “In fact, their blood is the purest blood because there is a nation behind them (which) inherits revenge. And we swear to Allah: the one who disgraced you by our hands, you will not have safety, even in your dreams, until you embrace Islam.”

Do you understand what is being said there?

They will not stop fighting until we all embrace Islam.

Not much room for negotiation there.

Meanwhile, other Islamic groups all over the planet are starting to take their cues from ISIS, and this is resulting in a rising tide of violence against Christians.

For example, recall the incident in the Mediterranean Sea the other day in which a dozen innocent Christians were tossed to their deaths

When a rubber dinghy carrying around 100 African refugees across the Mediterranean began to sink, a Nigerian Christian prayed for his life in an innocent act that would end in the deaths of 12 fellow migrants.

One of the Muslims on board the rickety craft ordered him to stop, saying: ‘Here, we only pray to Allah.’

When he refused, a violent fight ensued and 12 Christians drowned when they were thrown overboard by the Muslim refugees.

Who in the world would do such a thing?

The only reason those 12 people were killed was because they were Christians.

The following is what Reverend Franklin Graham had to say about this incident…

The Italian police have arrested 15 Muslims for throwing 12 people overboard and watching them helplessly drown in the Mediterranean,” said Rev. Graham in an Apr. 17 Facebook post.

He continued, “Why? Just because they were Christians! Because Islam has a deep and relentless hatred for people who bear the Name of Christ. These Christians were among a group of 105 people who were trying to escape war and poverty in Africa and were headed to Italy to look for work.”

We saw another example of this kind of violence against Christians earlier this year in West Africa

It took only a few hours, but it was enough time for hundreds of radical Muslims in Niger, West Africa, to destroy dozens of churches and several Christian homes. Ten people lost their lives and hundreds were injured when Muslim mobs went on the deadly rampage in early January.

Now, three months later, Christians living there are moving forward, determined to still preach the Gospel despite the dangers.

In most of these attacks around the globe, those involved do not believe that they are doing anything wrong.

Rather, most of the people involved in this violence believe that they are actually offering a service to their god.

And the tide is turning in the western world as well. I don’t know if you have noticed, but it is quite socially acceptable to make jokes about Christians and to portray them as bad guys and lunatics in movies and on television shows. Evangelical Christians are even being labeled as “potential terrorists” in official government documents, and every trace of the Christian faith is being pushed out of public life in the United States. I discussed how this is being done in the U.S. military in this recent article, but just about everywhere you look Christianity is being pushed into the shadows. The disdain for the faith of our forefathers has reached a crescendo, and it is not going to be any easier to be a Christian in this country in the years ahead – that is for sure.

BBC ‘Kill The Christians’ – At Last, Thank God, But Please Don’t Leave It There

Posted by addisethiopia on April 18, 2015

Reblogged from “Achbishop Cranmer

keep-calm-and-kill-christians-4As regular readers of His Grace’s blog will be fully aware, the plight of Christians around the world is a subject that is discussed frequently on these pages. I sometimes wonder if such repetition will turn people away in a ‘read that; been there before’ approach, but as long as such intense suffering continues, given the nature of this site’s religio-political focus, there is an overwhelming duty to speak up and attempt to lay the facts bare.

The Bible is very clear that Christianity is not a private faith. When anyone makes the decision to follow Jesus, they become part of the biggest family on earth. During the Church of England’s baptism liturgy, the congregation welcomes in the newly-baptised with these words:

There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism.

..by one Spirit we are all baptised into one body.

All: We welcome you into the fellowship of faith;

we are children of the same heavenly Father;

we welcome you.

My Christian family is not just my local church, but the global one. My attitude towards Christians in Pakistan or China should be no different from those I know in my local congregation. Anyone who has had even a smattering of religious education should know that Jesus calls us to love our neighbours, and the story of the Good Samaritan plainly clarifies that we should make no distinctions as to who we consider our neighbour to be. However, the New Testament writers also exhort Christians to be especially vigilant regarding the welfare of their fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. In Jesus’ parable of the Sheep and the Goats (Mt 25: 31-46), it is not difficult to argue that when the king declares, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me,’ he is referring specifically to God’s people, i.e., Christians, and not to humanity as a whole.

This is why the reports that have poured in over the last year, telling of the brutal and horrific treatment of Christian communities in the Middle East, have been so disturbing. In actual fact, the drawn-out eradication of Christians from the region has been going on for a good deal longer, but with ISIS’s inhuman treatment of anyone they choose to hate, this has been brought sharply into focus. Through the work of Christian charities such as Open Doors and Christian Solidarity Worldwide and, in particular, Canon Andrew White, the ‘Vicar of Baghdad’, this persecution has not gone unnoticed well beyond our Sunday church congregations. The secular media has increasingly taken up the cause of Christians suffering most frequently at the hands of intolerant Islam. A growing number of parliamentarians are also voicing their concerns.

One of the exceptions, though, has been the BBC. In its coverage of world affairs and the Middle East, the persecution of Christians, while not entirely ignored, proportionally receives little attention. When ISIS drove the Yazidis out of their homes and into the mountains of Iraq last year, it made the BBC’s headlines. It rightly deserved attention, but the Christians who were experiencing exactly the same treatment (and were also much larger in number) were mentioned far less. If this is still a Christian country, as David Cameron often likes to remind us, then it becomes even more irksome that the BBC, for whatever reason, devotes such little attention to (for example) the fact that the Christian population in Iraq alone has collapsed to a tiny percentage of the millions who lived there prior to the fall of Saddam Hussein. This is one of the biggest stories to have come out of the troubles in the Middle East, and yet the BBC has barely mentioned it in all of its coverage of the multiple conflicts.

So, when Jane Corbin’s Kill the Christians aired on BBC2 this week, it was a welcome surprise. Such a programme covering the situation for Christians in the Middle East is long overdue, but at least the BBC has finally begun to catch up with the rest of us. It was never going to be a perfect programme: squeezing a whistle-stop tour of Christian communities in Syria, Iraq, Israel, Lebanon and Palestine into an hour could scarcely give all situations the level of attention each deserves. When the wait has been so long, expectations inevitably increase. And, on the whole, Jane Corbin did a thorough job of telling the story of a few individuals and the dislocation of their communities as they have fled the deadly violence of the ISIS.

Ed West has written a sound review of the programme for the Catholic Herald, but I want to highlight a number of factors that stood out as I watched it. The first was the complete contrast between the Christians interviewed and the actions of their aggressors. Footage of both Muslims and Christians, just moments before their execution at the hands of black-clad ISIS soldiers, was flashed up at regular intervals. This was greatly disturbing, but still failed to convey the scale of their sickening disregard for the lives of others. It was perhaps best summed up by 13-year-old Nardine. She had escaped the invasion of her village in northern Iraq, but was fully aware that if they had caught her she would now be either dead or imprisoned as a sex slave. The look on her face as she considered the Yazidi girls who had suffered that fate was haunting.

Whilst ISIS were depicted sowing fear and terror, Christians were seen feeding, sheltering and caring for the suffering and displaced irrespective of their beliefs – for Muslims as much as their fellow Christians. Even with the little that they had, they were doing their utmost for others. One Muslim bluntly stated that without the survival of Christianity in the Middle East, moderate Islam is also doomed. In countries with diverse and complex religions and histories, Christianity has provided a level of stability and cohesion. As this fades away, so does the chance of long-term peace between the different strands of Islam.

And little hope remains. Where Christians have fled persecution in their droves in the face of the utterly intolerant Saudi-Salafist strain of Islam and the increased sectarian violence between Sunnis and Shias, it is impossible to see them returning in any great number, if at all. If they are able to find better homes elsewhere, what would bring them back? The only place in the Middle East where the Christian population is secure and growing is Israel, and yet, for some strange reason, Jane Corbin told us the complete opposite. Strangely, too, she blamed Israel for the exodus of Christians from Bethlehem and the Palestinian territories. What the programme failed to mention is that since Hamas came to power, there has been a marked increase in incitement and violence by Muslims against Christians throughout Palestine. This subtle anti-Israeli rhetoric was uncalled for, and an unnecessary blot on an otherwise well-researched documentary. It would seem to be that this Twitter comment from journalist Nelson Jones has some weight:

Maybe it was? If so, thank you, Jane Corbin and the BBC, for at long last sharing the stories of just a handful of Christians in the Middle East. It was better than might have been expected, despite one grating flaw. But there is so much more to say. You could, for example, devote a whole programme to the experiences of Andrew White in Baghdad. Archbishop Justin Welby has visited Iraq and has plenty of informed opinion which could also be reported. Please don’t leave it here, thinking you’ve fulfilled your Christian-persecution quota. You have only just begun to scratch the surface, and the world needs to hear much more. Politically-correct sensibilities and the fear of causing offence should never be allowed to hide the truth of this genocidal ‘cleansing’.

As a final thought, it was quite remarkable to observe that none of the Christians who were interviewed had questioned their faith: their resilience was stoic, and at no time did they express doubt in God. We live in a country where Christianity is often derided and discarded; where God is disparagingly referred to as a magical fairy or ‘sky pixie’. But, for these Christians who have so much to lose simply by staying true to their faith, they find in God not empty indifference, but strength and unending hope. The wisdom of Nardine, despite her young age, was profound:

The Christian religion is about love and peace. I feel very sad because the Devil has taken over the Islamic State. I will pray to God to enlighten their minds. Whatever happens, we will not give up our religion. We will not abandon Christianity, never.

The Ten Muslim Nation Confederacy – The Same Ten Nation Confederacy Spoken By Prophet Daniel?

Posted by addisethiopia on March 30, 2015

This war is no longer a war about Yemen, but a formation of a Sunni coalition they call it Al-Tahaluf Al-A’shari, literally the Ten Nation Confederacy which the media in English calls Ten Sunni-led Arab states.

In response to U.S. abandonment of Saudi Arabia and a response to Iran’s threat to the region, the Sunni Muslim world has risen to form a major unified force. The Coalition never informed the U.S. of its actions in Yemen fearing the U.S. is flirting with Iran.

Caricature of this new alliance is shown in the Arab media as a right-arm fist portruding out of the earth with the mark “There is No God But Allah and Muhammad Is His Messenger” the flag, badge and emblem of Islam stemming from Saudi Arabia. It is the pride of Muslims to mark their right arms and foreheads with the mark of Islam. It also reminds of Daniel 4 which speaks of Babylon leaving the tree stump of its roots in the earth, bound with a band of iron and bronze while re-arising, not in ancient Babel in Iraq, but in Dumma, Kedar and Arabia as Isaiah 21 prophesied prior to God’s final judgment “Babylon is fallen is fallen” (Isaiah 21:9, Revelation 18:1-2, Revelation 14:8) in which Iran will finally give it a death blow.

One wonders is this what the Bible speaks of, the ten horns representing ten kings, and all is left, is an eleventh, a little horn which comes up among them who is the Antichrist (Daniel 7:8, 11)?

One must admit, the temptation to make such declarations can arise as we see the events unfold on daily basis, but let the wise increase in patience which is the wisdom in not rushing to conclusion. The bronze nails in Daniel 7:19 points to a Grecian, not European entity. And with its teeth of iron and its nails of bronze (Daniel 7:19), there are ten nails and only time will tell if 20 to 30 other states (iron teeth) joins the ten nation confederacy under this umbrella. And we have additions, foreign ministers from 22 Arab countries agreed to form a unified military force on Thursday, approving a draft resolution designed to counter growing security threats in the region.

Is what we see a prelude to something greater, or if Erdogan of Turkey becomes more active in this confederacy, or if even this confederacy grows to be some fulfillment, is very interesting, but only time will tell. “Its nails of bronze” must be alluding to the correlation of the ten toes to the Grecian Empire. This is deduced because bronze as is accepted by biblical scholars represents Greece which today is Asia Minor. Revelation 17 also speaks of the ten kings will be joined by another king—an eleventh (the little horn)—who is the Antichrist, the ruler over the entire fourth kingdom (Daniel 7:8, 11).

Mecca is what drives this ten nation confederacy in Yemen, is the latest front in a growing regional contest for power with Iran that is also playing out in Syria, where Tehran backs Assad’s government, and Iraq, where Iranian-backed Shiite militias are playing a major role in fighting.

And this confederacy, as it seems, means business. Al Arabiya reported a massive 150,000 Saudi ground troops have been mobilized along with fighter jets and naval units, as part of the move codenamed, “Operation Decisive Storm.” Egyptian TV reportedly said that the Arab League will coordinate with the chiefs of staff of the various Arab nations’ armies to organize the new Ten Nation Confederacy force within one month. Egyptian officials also announced that a ground invasion of Yemen will follow the airstrikes. This, including a naval blockade has been imposed by the Saudi ship Asifat Al-Hazm (Firm Storm) on a strait that connects the Red Sea to the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean, and provides passage to the Mediterranean Sea. The strait is used by Egypt, Sudan, Jordan, Yemen, Djibouti and Saudi Arabia, among other nations.

Four Egyptian vessels were spotted en route to secure the Gulf of Aden, off the city where President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi was based out of after leaving the capital city of Sanaa, and before being forced to flee the country. Both Sudan and Morocco announced that this war is in defense of their beloved Mecca. The Sunni Alliance fears Shiite talk of shift from Mecca to Karbala. Any harm on Saudi Arabia means to harm Islam’s Qibla, the direction to the image, the meteor in Mecca which over a billion Muslim prostrate towards daily.

And such support for this Sunni coalition is not only by secularists, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the largest body of Islamic states, affirmed its support for the deal and the ten state confederacy.

Iran’s rise to power, forced the Arab world to respond to the unprecedented threats on multiple fronts in Yemen, Iraq, Libya and Syria, all of which are in end-times context biblically. In Yemen (biblical Teman) Houthi militants believed to have Iranian backing have taken over large swathes of the country including its official capital. In Libya (also becomes part of a future league in Ezekiel 30,38) a civil war is raging between a government that controls the capital of Tripoli, and the internationally recognized government — aided by Arab and Egyptian airstrikes — based out of the city of Tobruk. In Syria (see Isaiah 17) a civil war has raged on for four years between President Bashar Assad’s government, which is backed by Iran (biblical Persia), and loose coalitions of militants, as well as ISIS which has taken over significant portions of Iraq and Syria, has expanded into Libya, and has been drawing membership from across the Islamic world, recently gaining the loyalty of Nigerian Boko Haram and claiming responsibility for a deadly terror attack in Tunisia.

There is no doubt that a shift and confederacy buildup has happened, but for it to be the final culmination, Persia, its enemy must ally with Turkey despite the Shiite Sunni divide which will later unravel again on the Mountains of Israel. This healing is unlikely to happen until a false peace treaty is first established. It is then that the focus shifts by both Sunni and Shiite coalition towards the persecution of both the Church and Jerusalem which will exclude some Arab states: “And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.” (Revelation 12:3). In Ezekiel 38, both Persia as well as Meshech and Tubal (Asia Minor Turkey) are involved as well as Libya and Egypt (Ezekiel 30) in a “league”.

The beginning embryo and realization that such states can unite is already made firm, but for a seven year peace deal, there needs to be turmoil, which we are witnessing on a daily basis already. This military power will force the Houthis to accept a resolution within days or weeks. This will take Iran back to the drawing board as Russia will play the peace maker. And while Iran harbors its hate, eventually, both Sunni and Shiites will realize that the warring has no end and one sinister plan will be devised to unite the fractured Muslim world which sees the turmoil lasting seven years beginning in 2011 at the rise of the Arab Spring. Such unity cannot happen unless a scapegoat is found: Israel. As the days come, the Middle East is realizing, why is Sunni killing Shiite while Jerusalem remains “un-liberated”? This is the outcry currently on the streets of the Muslim world, and if the devil would make a statement it would be: “for not killing Jews, ISIS I hated”.
