People in the time of Noah and Lot rejected God’s call for repentance and insisted on their routine of living. It is for people like them that the end-time could really be scary. Since their focus is to seek to gain their lives on their own terms, they will lose their lives. In contrast, those who lose their lives by turning away from worldly allurements and following the Lord’s instructions will preserve their lives. Before the final judgment, people could be seen together, enjoying family life together, maybe working together, or asleep in one bed. Jesus says that every person is responsible for one’s own choice in one’s lifetime — either he sought to gain life only in this world, or by his faithfulness to Jesus Christ he has long ago decided to sign up for God’s Kingdom.
The story of Noah, the Ark, and Flood speaks an inspired and powerful message about judgment and grace, that has instructed God’s people throughout the ages about God’s hatred of sin and his love for his creation. Most importantly, we see God’s promise never to destroy the Earth again fully realized in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, where God takes the judgment for sin upon himself rather than humanity. Thus, through the lens of Christ, the biblical Flood story proclaims the marvelous news of God’s grace and love for his people.

The Weather Dept said that the dust winds phenomenon would last for Sunday only, but again from Monday onwards, there is a possibility of a dip in temperature in Maharashtra for the next few days
A day after a western disturbance and cyclonic circulation over Rajasthan brought unseasonal rains it, Mumbai on Sunday had a thick layer of haze settled over it.
According to weather experts, the haze was attributed to “dust-raising winds”, brought as a result of the same Western Disturbance which caused Saturday’s rains and a drop in Sunday’s temperature.
It was further said that since everybody was wearing mask due to Covid-19, no other precautions were required.
“This haze consists of mainly sand because it originates from the Middle East where the conditions are sandier. It cannot be defined as smog, which comprises a more complex mixture of pollutants,” said Gufran Beig, Project Director, SAFAR.
The Weather Department said that the dust winds phenomenon is going to last for Sunday only, but again from Monday onwards, there is a possibility of a dip in temperature in Maharashtra for the next few days.
The maximum temperature of Mumbai’s Santacruz stood at 23.8 degrees Celsius, which is lowest in the last 10 years.
The dip in temperature was a result of the cloudy sky over north Konkan. It brought day time temperatures to as low as 23-24 degrees Celsius, which is the lowest maximum temperature in the last 10 years or maybe more, for the month of January.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday said that after affecting normal life in Karachi, a massive dust storm headed towards Gujarat and south Rajasthan on Saturday evening and it may continue to have an effect till next 12 hours.
Karachi was caught off guard on Saturday morning when a dust storm that travelled from Pakistan’s west disturbed the normal life there with visibility reduced to less than or about 500 metres.
“Saurashtra coast has been getting dust rising winds from afternoon. Dwarka station reported 400 m visibility, at Porbandar, wind speed was more than 10 km per hour with visibility of less than 1 km,” the IMD said.
Winds carrying dust blew from south Pakistan areas and adjoining the Arabian Sea towards Kutch and Saurashtra towards evening.
The ‘Sand and Dust Storms Risk Assessment in Asia and the Pacific’ report for 2021, published by the Asian and Pacific Centre for the Development of Disaster Information Management (APDIM), which is a regional institution of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), had said more than 500 million people in India and more than 80 per cent of the populations of Turkmenistan, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Iran are exposed to medium and high levels of poor air quality due to sand and dust storms.
Lahore, Karachi, and Delhi are the three most affected cities, the report had said.
Dust storms, if severe, and over a longer time, also adversely affect agriculture, especially cotton.

THIS is the shocking moment a church spire snaps off and crashes to the ground after it was battered by Storm Eunice.
Damage to the Grade II listed building, built in 1856, has sparked concerns now arisen over its structural stability.
Matt Hodson, 17, who filmed the footage, told ITV news that he noticed the wind take a sudden violent turn when he went into his back garden.
“I was shocked – it was quite a surreal moment. I didn’t really expect it to actually fall – I was just filming just in case,” he said.
Reverend Claire Townes, a priest in at the church, added: “I literally thought to myself the church will be ok, it’s been here since Victorian times – and then two, three minutes later I had a telephone call from the police.”
The church said in a statement on Facebook: “Please do not come to the church to look at the fallen spire.
“We are awaiting the arrival of a structural surveyor as currently we cannot assure safety within the grounds until we know it is safe.”
Thankfully, nobody was injured by the the fallen spire.
Anglican Church Bans Women From Vicar’s Job on ‘biblical’ Grounds
An Anglican church has banned women from applying to its vacant post of vicar on ‘biblical’ grounds.
Holy Trinity Church in Wallington in south west London will now issue a job advert that specifically excludes female clerics from seeking the job.
The Church of England said such a move was rare but not unique. A spokesman said that because vicars and priests are ‘postholders’ rather than employees, the church does not fall foul of equal opportunities laws.
The decision to bar women from the £25,000 a year job was taken after a vote by Holy Trinity’s parochial church council.
The announcement made in the parish newsletter handed out to the congregation stated: “At our recent open evening we explained the parish church council’s view that the position of the overall leader (vicar) should be male for biblical reasons. Thank you to all those who shared their questions, views and points.
“We have now produced a summary sheet setting out the principle reasons from scripture for maintaining the historic position of this church on this matter.”
Women were first ordained as Church of England priests in 1994. Parishes can opt out of appointing female vicars by applying to the local diocese for ‘alternative oversight’ from a more conservative bishop.
A spokesman from the Diocese of Southwark said: “Although women play a full part in helping to lead a number of activities at Holy Trinity, Wallington they have asked for alternative oversight.
“Bishop Christopher Chessun has agreed to this and such oversight will be provided by the Bishop of Maidstone.
“This allows them to say, as a congregation, that they do not wish to receive the ministry of a woman Bishop or priest and thus to be able to advertise for a male priest.”
The campaign group Women and the Church (Watch) said it hoped that in the future discrimination against women priests would be outlawed but accepted the right of congregations to opt for men-only vicars.
A spokeswoman said: “Although Watch pray for the day when women and men, without caveat, can apply for any role within the Church of England, we accept that this is not currently the case. We endeavour to continue to work together with those with whom we disagree on this point.”

Well, NASA seems to have discovered the birthplace of most of these Storms and Hurricanes. For now, dear Americans, please stop performing satanic rituals like “Halloween” — and repent!
God is systematically destroying America. Just look at what has happened this year
There was an incredible heatwave and drought that destroyed massive amounts of the crops.
This drought has not let up and now covers about 65 percent of the country. The drought triggered record forest fires in the West.
The East was not affected by the drought, but now the most powerful hurricane on record is heading directly towards Philadelphia and New York City. It could do catastrophhic damage to the entire Northeast!
If you add the area of the drought and now the hurricane together, it would be about 80 percent of the country! As I said, the Holy God of Israel is systematically destroying America right before our eyes.
Just last August, Hurricane Isaac hit New Orleans seven years later, on the exact day of Hurricane Katrina. Both hit during the week of the homosexual event called Southern Decadence in New Orleans!
Hurricane Sandy is hitting 21 years to the day of the Perfect Storm of October 20, 1991. I write about this in my book as America Has Done to Israel. This was the day that President George Bush Sr. initiated the Madrid Peace Process to divide the land of Israel, including Jerusalem. America has been under God’s judgment since this event.
Both of these hurricanes were caused by freakish weather patterns that came together to create Twenty-one years breaks down to 7 x 3, which is a significant number with God. Three is perfection as the Godhead is three in one while seven is perfection.
It appears that God gave America 21 years to repent of interfering with His prophetic plan for Israel; however, it has gotten worse under all the presidents and especially Obama. Obama is 100 percent behind the Muslim Brotherhood which has vowed to destroy Israel and take Jerusalem. Both candidates are pro-homosexual and are behind the homosexual agenda. America is under political judgment and the church does not know it!
One of the problems with the buildup to weather-related dangers like Hurricane Sandy is that even while we are being told what to do to prepare for the situation, our anxiety is being increased by the reports of the terrible damage it is going to do.
Sometimes our brain, in its frozen state, leads us to a sense of helplessness, hopelessness and/or apathy. “I can’t do anything about it, it’s too big for me, might as well just accept it,” are all reactions to that frozen brain.
As we prepare for the frightening day and night to come, it is worthwhile to take a moment to stop and think about what we might be reacting to. When a newscaster says, “Stay tuned as conditions continue to deteriorate and this potentially life-threatening storm moves closer to landfall,” it is normal to feel a heightening of anxiety and a growing sense of fear. But if we ask ourselves several questions, we are likely to both lower our anxiety and increase our preparedness.
Are you or anyone you love in physical danger?
What can you do to get yourself and loved ones out of danger?
What else do you need to do to protect yourself and your loved ones?
What do you need to do to prepare for the potential damage in both the short and the longterm?
After you have asked yourself these questions and have responded to them – taking action to get out of a danger zone, to protect your home as best as you can, to follow all of the guidelines for preparing for the situation, then ask yourself if this is an old or familiar set of feelings. Are you feeling like you did at some times when you were a helpless child? And are you really as helpless now as you were in whatever that old situation was? What else do you need to do to make sure that you and your family will not be helpless and in danger?
