ይህች ዕለት ትልቅ ሕንፃ የታነጸበትና ፍጡር የፈጣሪ ማደሪያ ለመሆን የተዘጋጀባት ዕለት ናት

❖❖❖ ልደታ ለማርያም፡ ከዕሴይ ሥር በትር ትወጣለች ❖❖❖

በኦርቶዶክሳዊት ተዋሕዶ ቤተ ክርስቲያን ግንቦት አንድ ቀን (የግንቦት ልደታ) የእመቤታችን የቅድስት ድንግል ማርያም ልደት የሚከበርበት ዕለት ነው፡፡ ይህ ዕለት ቅዱስ ኤፍሬም በውዳሴ ማርያም “የመመኪያችን ዘውድ፣ የንጽሕናችንም መሰረት” ያላት ወላዲተ አምላክ ድንግል ማርያም የተወለደችበት ነው፡፡ ነቢየ እግዚአብሔር ኢሳይያስ “ድንግል ትጸንሳለች፤ ወንድ ልጅም ትወልዳለች” [ኢሳ ፯፡፲፬] ብሎ ትንቢት የተናገረላት ያቺ ድንግል በዚህች ዕለት ተወለደች፡፡ ይህች ቀን ልበ አምላክ ክቡር ዳዊት ” የወርቅ ልብስ ተጎናጽፋ ንግሥቲቱ በቀኝህ ትቆማለች።” [መዝ ፵፬፡፱] ብሎ የተናገረላት ንግሥት የተገኘችባት ዕለት ናት፡፡ ቅዱስ ዮሐንስም በራዕዩ “ፀሐይን የተጎናጸፈች፣ ጨረቃን የተጫማች፣ አስራ ሁለት የክዋክብት አክሊል በራሷ ላይ ያላት።”[ራዕ ፲፪፡፩] ብሎ የመሰከረላት የብርሃን እናቱ ድንግል ማርያም የተወለደችባት ቀን ናት፡፡ የእርስዋም ልደት እንደ እንግዳ ደራሽ እንደ ውኃ ፈሳሽ ድንገት የተከሰተ ሳይሆን አስቀድሞ በትንቢት፣ በምሳሌና በራዕይ የሰውን ልጅ ድኅነት በጉጉት ሲጠባበቁ ለነበሩ ቅዱሳን ሲገለጽ የነበረ ነው፡፡

❖ የድንግል ማርያም ልደት በነቢያት አንደበት

መሠረታቲሃ ውስተ አድባር ቅዱሳን፡ መሠረቶችዋ በተቀደሱ ተራሮች ናቸው፡፡ [መዝ ፹፮፥፩፡፯]

እግዚአብሔር የዝማሬና የትንቢት ጸጋን ያበዛለት ክቡር ዳዊት ስለ እመቤታችን ቅድስት ድንግል ማርያም ሥርወ ልደት አስቀድሞ በመንፈስ ቅዱስ መነጽርነት ተገልጾለት “መሠረታቲሃ ውስተ አድባር ቅዱሳን /መሠረቶችዋ በተቀደሱ ተራሮች ናቸው/” በማለት ትንቢት ተናግሯል፡፡ “የተቀደሱ ተራሮች” ያለውም የእመቤታችን ሥርወ ልደት ከቤተ መንግሥትና ከቤተ ክህነት ከሆኑት ከተቀደሱት ከኢያቄምና ከሐና የመሆኑን ነገር ሲያመለክት ነው፡፡ ይህንን ትንቢትና እውነተኛውን የእመቤታችንን የትውልድ ሀረግ አስማምታ ቤተክርስቲያን “የእመቤታችን ማርያም ትውልዷ ባባቷ በኩል ከንጉሡ ከዳዊት ወገን ነው፤ በናቷም በኩል ከካህኑ ከአሮን ወገን ነው፤ የአባቷ ስም ኢያቄም ነው፤ የእናቷም ስም ሐና ነው፡፡” ብላ ታስተምራለች፡፡

ትወፅእ በትር እምሥርወ ዕሴይ ወየዐርግ ጽጌ እምኔሃ፡ ከዕሴይ ሥር በትር ትወጣለች፤ አበባም ከእርሷ ይወጣል፡፡ [ኢሳ. ፲፩፡፩]

ቁጥሩ ከዐበይት ነቢያት ወገን የሆነው ነቢዩ ኢሳይያስም ጥበብንና እውቀትን በሚገልጽ ስለሚመጣውም ነገር ትንቢትን በሚያናግር በመንፈስ ቅዱስ ተመርቶ የእመቤታችን የቅድስት ድንግል ማርያም ልደት ከነገደ ዕሴይ እንደሚሆንና እርሷም ጽጌ (አበባ) የተባለ አካላዊ ቃል ክርስቶስን በሕቱም ድንግልና እንደምትወልድ ተገልጾለት “ትወፅእ በትር እምሥርወ ዕሴይ ወየዐርግ ጽጌ እምኔሃ /ከዕሴይ ሥር በትር ትወጣለች፤ አበባም ከእርሷ ይወጣል/” በማለት ታላቅ ትንቢትን ተናግሮ ነበር፡፡ ይህች በትርም ከእሴይ ዘር የተገኘችው በዚህች ዕለት ነውና ልደቷን በታላቅ ድምቀት እናከብራለን፡፡ ይህንን መሰረት በማድረግ ሊቁ ቅዱስ ኤፍሬም “መልካሟ ርግብ ማርያም ሆይ ደስ ይበልሽ፤ ከእሴይ ሥር የተገኘሽ መዓዛሽ ያማረ አበባ አንቺ ነሽ” በማለት በውዳሴ አመስግኗታል፡፡ “በአባቶችሽ ፈንታ ልጆች ተወለዱልሽ” [መዝ.፻፴፩፡፲፫]” የተባለልን የአባቶቻችን ልጆች እኛም እንዲሁ እያልን እናመሰግናታለን፡፡

ንዒ እምሊባኖስ መርዓት ንዒ እምሊባኖስ፡ ሙሽራዬ ሆይ ከሊባኖስ ከእኔ ጋር ነይ፡፡ [መኃ ፬፡፰]

በኦርቶዶክሳዊት ተዋሕዶ ቤተ ክርስቲያን መጻሕፍት መሰረት የእመቤታችን የትውልድ ስፍራ ሊባኖስ የተባለው ተራራማ ሀገር ነው፡፡ በሊባኖስ ስለመሆኑ አስቀድሞ ጠቢቡ ሰሎሞን “ንዒ እምሊባኖስ መርዓት ንዒ እምሊባኖስ ንዒ ወተወፅኢ እምቅድመ ሃይማኖት እምርእሰ ሳኔር ወኤርሞን አምግበበ አናብስት ወእምአድባረ አናምርት /ሙሽራዬ ሆይ ከሊባኖስ ከእኔ ጋር ነዪ ከሊባኖስ ከእኔ ጋር ነዪ ከአማና ራስ ከሳኔር ከኤርሞን ራስ ከአንበሶች መኖሪያ ከነብሮችም ተራራ ተመልከች/” በማለት ተናግሮ ነበር፡፡ የዚህ ትንቢት ምስጢርም የእመቤታችን መካነ ልደት የሊባኖስ ተራራ ስለመሆኑ የሚያጠይቅ እንደሆነ ምስክርነታቸው የታመነ የቤተ ክርስቲያን ሊቃውንት ያስረዳሉ፡፡ ትንቢቱም ሲፈጸም ቅድስት ድንግል ማርያም ግንቦት ፩ ቀን በ፲፭ ዓ.ዓ ቅድመ ልደተ ክርስቶስ በሊባኖስ ተራራ ተወልዳለች፡፡

ኢትዮጵያዊ ቄርሎስ የተባለው የነገረ ማርያም ሊቅ አባ ጊዮርጊስ ዘጋሥጫ እመቤታችን በሊባኖስ እንደምትወለድ አስቀድሞ ሰሎሞን የተናገረው ቃልም መፈጸሙን ሲገልጽ “….የአናብስት ልጅ አልኩሽ፡፡ ሰሎሞን እንዲህ ሲል እንደተናገረ፡- ሙሽራዪት ሆይ ከሊባኖስ ተራራ ነዪ፤ ከአንበሶች ጒድጓድ ወጥተሽ ነዪ፤ ከምርጥ ነገድነት የተነሣ ከሚመካ ወገን የመወለድሽ ዜና እጅግ ግሩም ነው፡፡” በማለት አመስጥሮታል፡፡ እመቤታችንም በሊባኖስ ተራራ እንድትወለድ ምክንያት የሆነው በማሕፀን ሳለች የአርሳባንን ልጅ ዓይን በማብራቷና ሳሚናስ የሚባለውን የጦሊቅን ልጅ ከሞት በማስነሳቷ አይሁድ በቅናት ተነሳስተውባቸው ስለነበር ሐናና ኢያቄም ወደ ሊባኖስ ተራራ እንዲሄዱ ታላቁ መልአክ ቅዱስ ገብርኤል ለኢያቄም ተገልጾ ስለነገራቸው እንደሆነ የቤተ ክርስቲያን መጻሕፍት ያስረዳሉ፡፡

❖ የድንግል ማርያም ልደት በራዕይና በምሳሌ

ከትንቢቱ በተጨማሪም የእመቤታችን የቅድስት ድንግል ማርያም ልደት በራዕይና በምሳሌም አስቀድሞ የተገለጸ ነበር፡፡ ከእነዚህም መካከል ከእርሷ ሰባት ትውልድ አስቀድሞ ለነበሩት ደጋግ ሰዎች እንዲሁም ለእናትና ለአባቷ የተገለጹት ምሳሌዎች በቅዱሳት መጻሕፍት በሰፊው ሰፍረው ይገኛሉ፡፡

ሰባተኛዪቱ እንቦሳ ጨረቃን ስትወልድ ጨረቃዋ ደግሞ ፀሓይን ስትወልድ አየሁ (ቴክታ)

በቅድስና የሚኖሩ ነገር ግን መካን የነበሩት ቴክታና ጴጥርቃ ነጭ እንቦሳ ከበረታቸው ስትወጣ ፤ እንቦሳይቱ እንቦሳ እየወለደች እስከ ስድስት ስትደርስ ፤ ስድስተኛዪቱ ጨረቃን ጨረቃዋም ፀሐይን ስትወልድ አይተው በሀገራቸው መፈክረ ሕልም (ሕልም ፈች ሊቅ) አለና ሂደው ነገሩት፡፡ ደግ ልጅ ትወልዳላችሁ፤ ጨረቃይቱ ከፍጡራን በላይ የምትሆን ልጅ ትወልዳላችሁ፡፡ የፀሐይ ነገር ግን አልተገለጸልኝም፤ እንደ ነቢይ እንደ ንጉሥ ያለ ይሆናል አላቸው፡፡ እነርሱም ጊዜ ይተርጉመው ብለውት ሄዱ፡፡ ከዚህ በኋላ ልጅ ወለዱ፡፡ ስሟንም “ረከብኩ ስእለትዬ፤ ረከብኩ ተምኔትዬ” /የተሳልኩትን አገኘሁ፤ የተመኘሁትን አገኘሁ/ ሲሉ “ሄኤሜን”አሏት፡፡ ሄኤሜን ዴርዴን፤ ዴርዴ ቶናን፤ ቶና ሲካርን፤ ሲካር ሄርሜላን፤ ሄርሜላ ሐናን ወለደች፡፡ ሐና ለአካለ መጠን ስትደርስ ከቤተ ይሑዳ ለተወለደ ኢያቄም ለሚባል ደግ ሰው አጋቧት፡፡ ከኢያቄምና ከሐናም በጨረቃ የተመሰለች ድንግል ማርያም ተወለደች፡፡

ፀዓዳ ርግብ ሰባቱ ሰማያትን ሰንጥቃ መጥታ በማሕፀኔ ስታድር አየሁ (ቅድስት ሐና)

ኢያቄምና ሐና መካን ስለነበሩ እግዚአብሔር ልጅ ይሰጣቸው ዘንድ ጸልየው፤ ሲሰጣቸውም መልሰው ለእርሱ እንደሚሰጡ ስዕለትን ተስለው ነበር፡፡ ጸሎታቸው ሲደርስ ለሐና በሕልም ተገልጾላት ለባለቤቷ ለኢያቄም “ብእሴሃ አነኑ ርኢኩ በሕልምየ ርግብ ጸዐዳ መጽአት ኀቤየ ወነበረት ዲበ ርእስየ ወቦአት ውስተ እዝንየ ወኀደረት ውስተ ከርሥየ /ነጭ ርግብ መጥታ በራሴ ላይ ተቀምጣ ከራሴ ላይ ወርዳ በጆሮዬ ገብቶ በማሕፀኔ ስትተኛ አየሁ፡፡” ብላዋለች፡፡ የዚህ ራእይ ምስጢርም ርግብ የተባለች እመቤታችን ቅድስት ድንግል ማርያም ስትሆን፤ ፀዓዳ (ነጭ) መሆኗ ንጽሕናዋ፣ ቅድስናዋ፣ ዘላለማዊ ድንግልናዋ ነው፡፡ ነጭ ርግብ መጥታ በራሴ ላይ ተቀምጣ ከራሴ ላይ ወርዳ በጆሮዬ ገብታ በማሕፀኔ ስትተኛ አየሁ” ማለቷ ብሥራተ ገብርኤልን በጆሮዋ ሰምታ በግብረ መንፈስ ቅዱስ አምላክን የምትፀንሰውን ንጽሕት ርግብ የተባለችውን እመቤታችንን የምትወልድ መሆኗን ሲያጠይቅ ነው::

ከሰባተኛው ሰማይ ነጭ ዖፍ ወርዶ በራሴ ላይ ሲቀመጥ አየሁ (ቅዱስ ኢያቄም)

በተመሳሳይ ኢያቄምም በሕልሙ ያየውን ለባለቤቱ ለሐና “እንዘ ይትረኀዉ ሰብዐቱ ሰማያት ዖፍ ጸዐዳ መጽአ ኀቤየ ወነበረ ዲበ ርእስየ /ሰባቱ ሰማያት እንደ መጋረጃ ተገልጠው ከላይኛው ሰማይ ነጭ ዖፍ ወርዶ በራሴ ላይ ሲቀመጥ አየሁ” ብሎ በሕልሙ የተገለጸለትን ነግሯታል፡፡ የዚህም ራዕይ ምስጢር ዖፍ የተባለው አካላዊ ቃል ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ሲሆን፤ ነጭነቱ ንጽሐ ባሕርዩ ነው፡፡ ኢያቄም “ከላይ ወርዶ በራሴ ላይ ሲቀመጥ አየሁ” ማለቱ የኢያቄምን ባሕርይ ባሕርይ እንደሚያደርግ የሚያጠይቅ ሲሆን ሰባቱ ሰማያት የተባሉ የጌታችን ልዩ ባህርይው፣ ምልአቱ፣ ስፍሃቱ፣ ርቀቱ፣ ልእልናው፣ ዕበዩና መንግስቱ ናቸው።

❖ የድንግል ማርያም ልደት በሐዲስ ኪዳን ሊቃውንት

የሐዲስ ኪዳን ሊቃውንትም ትንቢተ ነቢያትንና ወንጌልን በማጣጣም የእመቤታችን የቅድስት ድንግል ማርያምን ልደት አመስጥረው አስተምረዋል፤ አመስግነዋል፤ ተቃኝተዋልም፡፡ የእርሷን ልደት እጅግ ብዙ ሊቃውንት በስፋትና በጥልቀት ያመሰጠሩት ሲሆን ለምሳሌ ያህል የሚከተሉት ይጠቀሳሉ፡፡

ማርያምስ ከጥንት ጀምሮ በአዳም ባሕርይ ውስጥ እንደ ነጭ ዕንቁ ታበራለች (ቅዱስ ያሬድ)

ኢትዮጵያዊው ሊቅ ቅዱስ ያሬድ ስለእመቤታችን ልደት “ማርያምሰ ተኀቱ እምትካት ውስተ ከርሱ ለአዳም ከመ ባሕርይ ጸዓዳ/ ማርያምስ (ማርያም ግን) ከጥንት ጀምሮ በአዳም ባሕርይ ውስጥ እንደ ነጭ ዕንቁ ታበራለች፡፡” በማለት እርሷ በደፈረሰው ዓለም በንጽሕና፣ በቅድስናና በድንግልና ስታበራ እንደነበርና ኋላም የዓለም ብርሃን የሆነውን ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስን መውለዷን አመስጥሮ ተናግሯል፡፡ በተጨማሪም ስለ ሥርወ ልደቷ “እንተ በምድር ሥረዊሃ ወበሰማይ አዕጹቂሃ…ሐረገ ወይን/ ሥሮቿ በምድር ጫፎቿም በሰማይ ያሉ…የወይን ሐረግ” በማለት የተወለደችው በምድር ከነበሩት ኢያቄምና ሐና መሆኑን የወለደችው ግን ሰማያዊውን ንጉሥ እንደሆነ በማመስጠር ዘምሯል፡፡ በዚህም ሰውና እግዚአብሔርን ያገናኘች መሰላል መሆኗል ገልጾ አስተምሯል፡፡

ድንግል ሆይ በኃጢአት ፍትወት የተፀነስሽ አይደለም፤ በሕግ በሆነ ሩካቤ ከሐናና ከኢያቄም ተወለድሽ እንጂ (አባ ሕርያቆስ)

የብህንሳው ሊቀ ጳጳስ አባ ሕርያቆስም በቅዳሴ ማርያም “ኦ ድንግል አኮ በፍትወተ ደነስ ዘተፀነስኪ አላ በሩካቤ ዘበሕግ እምሐና ወኢያቄም ተወለድኪ/ ድንግል ሆይ በኃጢአት ፍትወት የተፀነስሽ አይደለም፤ በሕግ በሆነ ሩካቤ ከሐናና ከኢያቄም ተወለድሽ እንጂ” በማለት የድንግል ማርያም ጽንሰትና ልደት እንዴት እንደነበር በድርሰቱ አስፍሮታል፡፡ ትውልድ ሁሉ ብፅዕት የሚላት የሁላችን እናት ድንግል ማርያም በሕግ በሆነ ሩካቤ ከሐናና ከኢያቄም ነሐሴ ፯ ቀን ተፀንሳ ከዘጠኝ ወር ከአምስት ቀን በኋላ ግንቦት ፩ ቀን ተወልዳለች፡፡ እርስዋም ስትፀነስ ጀምሮ መንፈስ ቅዱስ ከጥንተ አብሶ (original Sin) ጠብቋታል፤ አበሳው አልነካትም፡፡ ይህንንም ነቢየ እግዚአብሔር ኢሳይያስ በኃጢአት በተከበበ፣ መርገም በሞላበት ዓለም ውስጥ ከኃጢአት ከበደል ርቃ (ተለይታ) እንደ ጌዲዮን ጸምር በንጽህና የጠገኘች ንጽህት ዘር መሆኗን ሲያስረዳ “የሠራዊት ጌታ እግዚአብሔር ዘርን ባያስቀርልን ኖሮ እንደ ሰዶም በሆንን እንደ ገሞራም በመሰልን ነበር፡፡”[ኢሳ.፩፡፲፱]በማለት ተናግሯል፡፡ እንዲሁም ጠቢቡ ሰሎሞን ንጽህናዋን በትንቢት መነጽር አይቶ “ወዳጄ ሆይ፣ ሁለንተናሽ ውብ ነው፣ ምንም ነውር የለብሽም፡፡ ሙሽሪት ሆይ ከሊባኖስ ነዪ፡፡”[መሓልይ ፬፡፯፡፲፮] በማለት በንጽህና በቅድስና ያጌጠች፣ መርገመ ሥጋ መርገመ ነፍስ ያልነካት፣ የድህነታችን ምክንያት፣ የንጽህናችን መሰረት የሰው ባህርይ ከእግዚአብሔር ጋር እንዲዋሀድ ምክንያት የሆነች ንጽሕት የሰርግ ቤት ድንግል ማርያም በሊባኖስ የመወለዷን ነገር አስቀድሞ ነግሮናል፡፡

ይህች ዕለት ትልቅ ሕንፃ የታነጸበትና ፍጡር የፈጣሪ ማደሪያ ለመሆን የተዘጋጀባት ዕለት ናት (ቅዱስ እንድርያስ)

የቀርጤሱ ቅዱስ እንድርያስ የከበረ ስለሆነው ስለ እመቤታችን ቅድስት ድንግል ማርያም ልደት ታላቅነት “ይህ በዓል በሐዲስና በብሉይ ኪዳን መካከል መገኛ ሆነ፡፡ ምሳሌዎቹ በእዉነታ፣ አሮጌው በአዲስ ቃል ኪዳን ተተኩ፡፡ ፍጥረት ሁሉ በደስታ ይዘምራል፤ የዚህን ቀንም ደስታ ይካፈላል፡፡ ይህ ዕለት (ጌታ) መቅደሱን የሰራበት ዕለት ነው፡፡ ይህ ዕለት ትልቅ ሕንፃ የታነጸበትና ፍጡር የፈጣሪ ማደሪያ ለመሆን የተዘጋጀበት ዕለት ነው፡፡” በማለት ገልጾታል፡፡ በእውነት የእርሷ ልደት የልዑል ማደሪያው መቅደስ የተሰራበት ዕለት ነውና ሁላችን እናከብረዋለን፡፡ በዚህም ዕለት “ዮም ፍስሐ ኮነ በእንተ ልደታ ለማርያም/ እነሆ ዛሬ በእመቤታችን ልደት ደስታ ሆነ” እያልን እንዘምራለን። ይህችን የልዑል ማደሪያ እናቷ ሐናና አባቷ ኢያቄምም በእጅጉ ተደስተው በተወለደች በስምንተኛ ቀኗ ስሟን “ማርያም” ብለው ሰይመዋታል፡፡

❖ የእመቤታችን የልደት በዓል አከባበር

አባታችን አዳም በኃጢአት ከወደቀ በኋላ፣ ንስሃ በገባ ጊዜ አምላካችን ጌታ እግዚአብሔር የድህነት ቃል ኪዳን ገባለት፡፡ ቃል ኪዳኑም “ከልጅ ልጅህ ተወልጄ አድንሃለሁ” የሚል ነበር፡፡ ስለሆነም አዳም ፶፻፭፻/5500 ዘመን የሕይወት ምክንያት የሆነች የልጅ ልጁ እመቤታችን ድንግል ማርያም ከአብራኩ ከተከፈሉ ቅዱሳን ልጆቹ የምትወለድበትን ቀን ተስፋ እያደረገ ኖረ፡፡ የእመቤታችንን የድንግል ማርያምን የመወለዷን ዜና ተስፋ በማድረግ “ሴት” ይላት የነበረውን ሚስቱን ሔዋንን በእመቤታችን ምሳሌነት “ሔዋን”፣ የሕያዋን ሁሉ እናት ብሎ ሰየማት፡፡ [ዘፍ.፫፡፳] ዳግማዊ አዳም የተባለ ክርስቶስም የአዳምን ተስፋ በመስቀል ላይ በፈጸመ ጊዜ እውነተኛዋን ሔዋን (ዳግሚት፣ አማናዊት ሔዋንን) ድንግል ማርያምን በዮሐንስ ወንጌላዊ በኩል ለሕያዋን ምዕመናን ሁሉ እናት አድርጎ ሰጠ፡፡ [ዮሐ. ፲፱፡፳፮] ይህን የከበረ ምስጢር የማይረዳ “ክርስቲያን” እንዴት ያሳዝናል!? እኛ ኦርቶዶክሳውያን ክርስቲያኖች ግን የቀዳማዊ አባታችንን የአዳምን፣ እንዲሁም በዳግም ተፈጥሮ ያከበረንን ዳግማዊ አዳም የተባለ የጌታችን የመድኃኒታችን የኢየሱስ ክርስቶስን ቃል ተቀብለን “የሕያዋን ሁሉ እናት” ድንግል ማርያምን ልደቷን በፍፁም ደስታ እናከብራለን፣ ከተወደደ ልጇ ምሕረትን ትለምንልን ዘንድም ወደ እርሷ እናንጋጥጣለን፡፡

🚁 The U.S. Army has ordered a stand down of all its aircraft following a crash Friday involving two Apache helicopters in Alaska which left three soldiers dead and a fourth injured. It marks the third fatal helicopter crash this year.

The “stand down” is needed to ensure everything possible is done to prevent accidents and protect personnel, according to the military, although it says there is no indication of any link between the two “mishaps”.

Per McConville’s order, all active-duty aviation units must complete the stand down between Monday-Friday, May 1-5. For members of the Army National Guard and Army Reserve, they have through May 31 to carry out the stand down, due to their relative training schedules. During the stand down, the Army will conduct a review of flight mission briefing, as well as maintenance training.

The decision comes a day after three soldiers with the 1st Attack Battalion, 25th Aviation Regiment died when two AH-64 Apache helicopters collided and ultimately crashed near Healy, Alaska. Another soldier was injured and taken to a hospital. The helicopters were on their way back from a training flight when the collision occurred.

Along with Thursday’s fatal crash, the Army has had other aerial disasters this year. In March, a pair of HH-60 Black Hawk helicopters crashed in Kentucky, killing a total of nine soldiers. Both that and Thursday’s incident are under investigation. Per McConville’s statement, the Army has not found any pattern or commonality linking the two incidents.

In addition, a pair of Tennessee Army National Guard soldiers died in February when a Black Hawk helicopter crashed in Alabama and two soldiers were injured after their Apache helicopter rolled while attempting to lift off in Alaska.

The Army Isn’t the only branch to issue safety-related stand downs following deadly incidents. Last June the U.S. Navy issued a similar stand down following a series of crashes involving aircraft. That came after five mishaps in two weeks. The Marine Corps issued a similar stand down order that month following its own crashes.

“We are deeply saddened by those we have lost,” McConville added in his statement. “It is their loss that makes it all the more important we review our safety procedures and training protocols, and ensure we are training and operating at the highest levels of safety and proficiency.”

🚗 Five people, ages 12 to 19, were killed in Batesville, Mississippi, after their car hit a bridge and fell into a creek Tuesday night, 22 mar 2023.

The crash happened on a rural road in Batesville just before 10 p.m. Tuesday. The Panola County Sheriff’s Office said there were no other vehicles involved in the crash. Deputies have not said what might have precipitated the crash or who was driving, but they said all the victims were related.

In a statement posted to social media, the South Panola School District said all five of the people killed were current or former students.

“South Panola School District is heartbroken and saddened by the tragic passing of five of our current and former students. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families, friends, faculty and staff, and classmates,” the statement reads.

🚗 Drivers identified after Beltway crash leaves 6 dead in Woodlawn Wednesday 22 mar 2023

Maryland State Police have identified two drivers involved in the fatal crash that killed six people Wednesday. Police identified the driver of the Acura involved in the crash as Lisa Adrienna Lea, 54, of Randallstown. She was taken Shock Trauma. Police did not have an update on her condition. Police said the second vehicle involved in the crash was a Volkswagen. The driver was identified as Melachi Brown, 20, of Windsor Mill. Brown stopped his vehicle north of the scene on I-695 when it became disabled. He was not injured, according to police.

✞ The 129-year-old Assumption Church in Chan Thar in Ye-U township in the northwestern Sagaing region was set ablaze on Jan. 15, along with many villagers’ homes.

Myanmar junta forces have continued their attacks on Christian communities by torching a more than century-old Catholic church in a predominantly Christian village.

The church was completely destroyed in the inferno. However, there were no human casualties as villagers managed to flee before the army arrived.

The place of worship built in 1894 had a ‘priceless’ historical value for Catholics and non-Catholics alike. Before setting fire to it, soldiers desecrated it by drinking and smoking inside. Catholics and Buddhists have lived together in harmony in the area for centuries. In the past year, the village has been attacked four times by militia, without any clashes or provocations.

It is a new wound for the religious minority, after two air force fighter jets carried out a raid in Karen State in recent days, destroying a church and killing five people including a child.

The first Catholic presence in the area, which refers to the diocese of Mandalay, dates back about 500 years and the village of Chan Thar itself arose and developed thanks to the work of descendants of Portuguese Catholics who then inhabited it for centuries.

In the village, the population has always been predominantly Catholic, scattered in 800 houses in close contact and harmony with two neighbouring Buddhist centres. Last year, the military set fire to the houses of Chan Thar on 7 May and a second time a month later, on 7 June 2022, destroying 135 buildings.

The third assault took place on 14 December, just before the start of the Christmas celebrations; the last was a few days ago, on 14 January 2023, when the Tatmadaw (Armed Forces) men razed and burnt almost all the houses.

Local sources, on condition of anonymity, report that the soldiers attacked and set fire to the church “for no apparent reason”, because there was no fighting or confrontation going on in the area, and without any provocation.

The soldiers had been stationed in the area in front of the church since the evening of 14 January, and before leaving the area, they carried out an “atrocity” by setting fire to the building and “completely burning” the church, the parish priest’s house and the centuries-old nunnery, which collapsed after being enveloped in flames.

The Church of Our Lady of the Assumption was a source of pride for Catholics in Upper Myanmar not only because of its centuries-old tradition, the baptism of the first bishop and the birth of three other archbishops and over 30 priests and nuns.

The place of worship was in fact a historical and cultural heritage for the entire country, including Buddhists, and proof of this is the climate of fraternal cooperation that was established between the different communities.

The church, bell tower and other buildings were destroyed on the morning of 15 January. Government soldiers, an eyewitness revealed, also “desecrated” the sacredness of the place by “looting, drinking alcohol and smoking” inside.

In response to the attack, a number of Burmese priests on social networks have been raising appeals to pray for the country and for the Christian community itself. On the other hand, there have been no official statements or declarations from the Archdiocese of Yangon and Card. Charles Bo.

“We are deeply sorrowful as our historic church has been destroyed. It was our last hope,” a Catholic villager, who did not want to be identified due to repercussions by the army, said.

Villagers said a Marian grotto and the adoration chapel were spared. But the parish priest’s house and the nuns’ convent were destroyed.

They said the army arrived in the village in the conflict-torn Sagaing region on the evening of Jan. 14 and set many houses on fire and stayed in the church overnight before setting it ablaze early on Jan. 15, when local Catholics were expected to arrive for worship.

More than 500 houses in the village were also destroyed. in what was the fourth raid on the village in eight months.

“We have no more houses and the church where there was an antique painting of St Mary, which can’t be replaced,” another resident who wished to remain anonymous said.

The junta is targeting the Sagaing region to tackle growing resistance to its rule by people’s defense forces who are suspected to be based there.

Christians make up around 8.2 percent of Myanmar’s 55 million population. The junta has repeatedly raided Chan Thar since May, 2022. Nearly 20 houses were destroyed and two Catholics, including a mentally disturbed person, were killed during a raid on May 7, 2022. More than 100 houses were set ablaze a month later on June 7. In a raid on Dec.14, more than 300 houses were torched.

Thousands have fled the village since last May and taken shelter in churches near Mandalay, Myanmar’s second-largest city, and at relatives’ homes in other parts of the country.

Chaung Yoe, Mon Hla and Chan Thar, which are part of Mandalay archdiocese, are known as Bayingyi villages because their inhabitants claim that they are the descendants of Portuguese adventurers who arrived in the region in the 16th and 17th centuries. These villages have produced many bishops, priests, and nuns for the Church.

It had been founded in 1904 by Syrian and Lebanese immigrants, seven years after the first Divine Liturgy in Brazilian history had been celebrated in a room in the same street. The community had mostly merged with that of the Orthodox Metropolitan Cathedral, but there were still weekly liturgies that kept the memory of the temple alive. Only the altar survived, but some icons could be retrieved from the walls.

💭 Storms and tornadoes caused extensive damage to several communities across the U.S. Southeast on Thursday, including in Alabama, where at least 25 tornadoes were reported, according to the National Weather Service’s Storm Prediction Center.

At least six fatalities have been confirmed in Autauga County, Alabama, located in the central part of the state, Emergency Management Director Ernie Baggett told Weather.com. “The best we can tell is about 40 homes have major damage or have been completely destroyed,” Baggett added.

In Selma, officials called the city a “disaster area” as a high-end EF2 or EF3 tornado rolled through and lifted debris at least 16,000 feet up into the air, WSFA 12 reported. The storm was also reported to have caused major damage to roads and vehicles in the city.

Selma officials have enforced a curfew extending from dusk to dawn Thursday night.

No fatalities have been reported in Selma, but multiple people have been injured. The tornado also hit the Dallas County Jail, and inmates are currently being transferred to other counties’ facilities in the state, according to WSFA 12.

Days before Lisa Marie Presley passed away Thursday, Jan. 12, she attended an event at Graceland in Memphis to honor her father, Elvis Presley, for what would have been his 88th Birthday Celebration.

During her brief remarks at the estate, she thanked enthusiastic supporters and applauded their willingness to travel from around the world to visit the King of Rock ‘n Roll’s personal home.

“It’s been a while; I missed you,” Presley opened her remarks Sunday.

After a member of the audience shouted, “We love you, Lisa,” she responded: “And I love you.”

“I keep saying you’re the only people that can bring me out of my house. I’m not kidding,” Presley added, drawing a laugh from those in attendance.

“Today, he [Elvis Presley] would have been 88 years old. That’s hard to believe,” his daughter said. “I think that he would be proud.”

She also commented on the film “Elvis,” released in 2022, to much fanfare. Austin Butler (“Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” “The Dead Don’t Die”) played the titular role in the musical drama that showed the star’s childhood and his rise to fame in the 1950s.

The film also starred Tom Hanks, who played Elvis’ manager, Colonel Tom Parker.

“I think the movie was incredible,” Presley said Sunday, Jan. 8. “I am very proud of it and I hope you guys are too.”

The soft-spoken Presley also said she “really appreciated” how people “come from all over the world” to visit Graceland and honor her father.

“It’s moving to me and my family. Thank you,” she said before waving to the crowd and exiting the stage.

FRANKLIN, Tenn. — The music that changed the world started as the music of slaves, plowboys and outlaws in five states along the Mississippi River.

Today, that roots music carries a host of names, such as Americana, which Grammy-winning songwriter Rodney Crowell can define succinctly, if a bit mysteriously.

“I always say when people ask me, ‘What is Americana music?’ ” said Crowell, who is an Americana Music Association board member, “I would say it’s poetry driven.”

It is the poetry of hardscrabble lives encompassing blues, folk and rock ‘n’ roll.

Now, Leiper’s Fork businessman and musician Aubrey Preston and the Franklin-based Americana Music Association are launching the Americana Music Triangle — an ambitious, multistate tourism venture they hope can pull the different styles, stories and places under one umbrella for the sake of musical preservation and economic development.

Preston, who helped create the statewide Discover Tennessee Trails and Byways program, believes a musical- and cultural-based trail program could be a boon for tourism across the Deep South. If successful, its impact could be felt along the three points of the triangle — from Broadway in Nashville to Beale Street in Memphis to Bourbon Street in New Orleans.

ምድረ ኢትዮጵያ ፦ እመቤታችን ቅድስት ድንግል ማርያም ጌታችን ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ዮሴፍና ሰሎሜ በደመና ተጭነው ከግብጽ ወደ ኢትዮጵያ ሲመጡ ናግራን ከተባለ ሀገር ደረሱ። በናግራን ሳሉ ጌታ እንዲህ አለ። ከቀኝ ጎኔ የሚፈሰው ደሜ በብርሃናት አለቃ በዑራኤል እጅ ተቀድቶ በቅድሚያ በዚች ሀገር ይፈሳል ወይም ይረጫል። እናቱንም እንዲህ አላት አንቺ በድንግልና ጸንሰሽ በድንግልና እንደወለድሽኝ አምነው የሚያከብሩሽ በእኔም የሚያምኑ ብዙ የተቀደሱ ሰዎች በዚህ ሀገር ይወለዳሉ። ከናግራን ተነስተው ለትግራይ ትይዩ ከሚሆን ሐማሴን ከሚባለው ሀገር ሲደርሱ በምሥራቅ በኩል ከፍተኛ ተራራ ተመለከቱና ወደ ተራራው ሄዱ። ጌታም በተራራው ላይ ሳሉ እናቱን እንዲህ አላት ይቺ ተራራ ምስጋናሽ የሚነገርባት ቦታ ትሆናለች። የተራራዋም ስም ደብረ ሃሌ ሉያ ወይም ደብረ ዳሞ ይባላል። ትርጓሜውም የአምላክ ልጅ የመስቀሉ ቦታና የስሙ መገኛ ወይም አደባባይ ማለት ነው።ከዚያም በኋላ ታቦተ ጽዮን ወደምትኖርበት ወደ አክሱም ደረሱ። ታቦተ ጽዮን ባለችበት ቦታ ሳሉ ባዚን የተባለው የኢትዮጵያ ንጉሥ ታቦተ ጽዮንን ለመሳለም መጣ። የካህናቱ አለቃ አኪን ለንጉሡ የኢሳይያስን መጽሐፍ አነበበለት። የተነበበውም የመጽሐፍ ክፍል ድንግል በድንግልና ጸንሳ በድንግልና ወንድ ልጅ ትወልዳለች ስሙንም አማኑኤል ትለዋለች የሚል ነበር። ስደተኞቹ ግን ለንጉሡም ሆነ ለካህናቱ ሳይገለጡ የመጽሐፉን ቃል ከሰሙ በኋላ በደመና ተጭነው ወደ ደብረ ዐባይ ሄዱ ። ጌታም እናቱን እንዲህ አላት ይህች ሀገር እንደአክሱም ለስምሽ መጠሪያ ርስት ትሁን በኋላ ዘመን በቀናች ሃይማኖት ጸንተው ሕጌን የሚያስተምሩ አንቺን የሚወዱ ሰዎች ይኖሩባታል። ከዚያም በኋላ ከደብረ ዐባይ ተነስተው ዋሊ ወደ ሚባለው ገዳም /ወደ ዋልድባ / ሄዱ። በዋልድባ በረሃም ሳሉ በራባቸው ጊዜ ጌታ በዮሴፍ ብትር የአንዱን ዕንጨት ስር ቆፈረ። ሦስት መቶ አስራ ስምንት ስሮችን አወጣና ለእናቱ ብይ ብሎ ሰጣት። እናቱም ይህን የሚመር ዕንጨት አልበላም አለችው። ጌታም በኋላ ዘመን ስምሺን የሚጠሩ አንቺን የሚያከብሩ ብዙ መናንያን ይህን እየበሉ በዚህ ቦታ ይኖራሉ። ዕንጨቱም የሚጣፍጥ ይሆንላቸዋል አላት። ከዚህ በኋላ በደመና ተጭነው ከዋልድባ ወደ ጣና የባሕር ወደብ ሄዱ። በጣና ደሴትም ደጋግ ሰዎች ተቀብለዋቸው ሦስት ወር ከአስር ቀን ተቀመጡ። የኢትዮጵያ ሰዎች በደስታ ተቀብለዋቸዋል እንደ ግብፃውያን አላሰቃዩአቸውም ። በጥር አስራ ስምንት /፲፰/18/ ቀን ዑራኤል መጥቶ የሄሮድስን መሞት ነገራቸው ወደ ሀገራቸው ይመለሱ ዘንድ በደመና ከተጫኑ በኋላ ጌታ እናቱን እንዲህ አላት በኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ የሚገኙትን ተራራዎች ሁሉ ለስምሽ መታሰቢያ ይሆኑሽ ዘንድ አሥራት አድርጌ ሰጥቼሻለሁ ። ብሎ በኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ የሚገኙትን ተራራዎችን ሜዳዎችን ኮረብታዎችን አሳያት። እመቤታችን ሁሉንም ቦታዎች እየተዘዋወረች እንድታይ ልጅዋን ጠየቀችው። ልጅዋም የሚመለሱበት ጊዜ እንደደረሰ ነገራት። በብሩህ ደመና ላይ ተቀምጠው ክፍላተ አህጉር እየተዘዋወሩ ተራራዎችን ወንዞቸን አስጐበኛት የኢትዮጵያን ምድር ከጐበኙ በኋላ በደመና ተጭነው ጥር 29 ቀን ምድረ ግብፅ ደረሱ። ወደ ኢትዮጵያ የገቡት በቅዱስ ዑራኤል መሪነት ነው። ከግብፅ ወደ ኢትዮጵያ የመግባት ታሪክ በድርሳነ ዑራኤል ላይ በስፋት ተጽፏል።

የኅዳር ጽዮን ማርያም / Annual feast of St. Mary of Zion

This is a feast colorfully celebrated every year on Hidar 21 (November 30) at every church dedicated to St. Mary. The day is observed with special fervor particularly in Axum Tsion where the Ark of the Covenant is housed safely. The occasion is attended by massive Christian pilgrimages from all over Ethiopia and also foreign visitors making it one of the most joyous annual pilgrimages in Axum, the sacred city of Ethiopians.

The Church of Our Lady Mary of Zion claims to contain The original Ark of the Covenant.The Feast of the Ark of the Covenant (locally known as Tabote Tsion) is held in commemoration of different historical events including the coming of The Ark of the Covenant to Ethiopia and the construction of the first church dedicated to St. Mary in Axum.

The day also marks the destruction of Dagon by the power of The Ark of God, as recorded in the Bible, and the return of The Ark to Israel after seven months of exile at the Dagon’s house in Philistine. (1 Samuel 4; 6)
