🛑 A mystery object described by one local news outlet as a “UFO” has been shot down in the southern Russian region of Rostov.
Vasily Golubev, the governor of Rostov oblast, wrote on Telegram that a “small-size object in the shape of a ball” had been discovered flying “in the wind” at an altitude of around one and a half miles on January 3. With the object spotted above the village of Sultan Sala in the region’s Myasnikovsky district, Golubev said “the decision was taken to liquidate it.”
“I urge everyone to remain calm. To ensure security, all forces and means are involved. The sky is covered with anti-aircraft defenses,” he added, without specifying what the object was.
In reporting his comments, local news outlet Pivyet Rostov carried a headline that said “a UFO in the form of a ball was shot down in the sky.”
Telegram channels that night described how air defense systems in Rostov had been operating. The channel Ostorozhna, Novosti (Caution, News) published a video showing a shining object flying and then exploding in the sky.
“Look, another one has gone,” someone is heard saying in the clip, which was captioned, “another video of the work of Rostov regional air defenses.” A witness told the channel how “there was a very strong explosion” and that “everything in the house shook. We realized that the air defenses were in operation.”
Newsweek has contacted the governor’s office for further comment.
Rostov borders the Sea of Azov, which is connected to the Black Sea by the Strait of Kerch, a strategic location for both sides of the war in Ukraine. Since the start of Vladimir Putin’s invasion, the oblast near Ukraine has been subjected to regular shelling and drone attacks.
In October, Rostov was named as one of six Russian regions and two annexed regions in which Putin introduced a “medium-response level” to the threats posed by the war. This includes restrictions on movement and strengthening public order measures.
He also announced a “maximum response”—effectively martial law—on the four regions he claimed to have annexed but does not fully control; Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk and Luhansk.

The “red sky” phenomenon can be seen across the entire city for hours since Saturday night (May 7).

So when we think of my text as The Flashing Red Light Of His Coming, it reminds me of waiting at a railroad station, that when a man or people stand around, as many of us has when we was waiting to catch the train. And we can’t hear the train, or you don’t see him, but you know it’s time. Maybe the dispatcher says, “He’s a little late; he’s not exactly at the time. But we don’t know just when, but he will arrive soon.” And we’ll walk around in the station with our hands in our pockets, and setting on our suitcases, and go out and buy a bag of peanuts, and talk to the—somebody across the street. But all of a sudden we see something happen. There’s a noise takes place out at the tracks. And when they did, the arm goes down, and the red light begins to flash. What is that? The train is in the block. Though you can’t hear him, though you can’t see him, but yet that flashing red light and that arm down shows that he’s coming in. And then if you’re expecting to leave on that train, you’d better throw that bag of peanuts down, stop your talking, get up your suitcases, and get ready, or you’ll be left behind, ’cause he’s just stopping locally, just for a few moments. he’ll be gone. If you still stand to chat … the neighbor across the street, you’ll be left behind.

All Within The Center of Totality!
There has been a lot of talk about the Great American Solar Eclipse lately. I would like to share with you a recent discovery stumbled upon while my wife and I drift off comfortably listening to our nightly lullaby of radio talk shows.
We have a nightly routine enjoying our Google Home set to TuneIn Radio– we go…”Hey Google… Play Roswell’s Talk FM” which is Roswell NM 106.5. It’s an interesting station, while we live in NE Florida, it is as close as we can get to that New Mexico town that has that flying saucery feel and the station even has some ufo related event commercials 🙂 It’s been reliable in streaming to our phones even before having the Google Home. We usually kill the lights, pull over the covers, cuddle up and start the night open ear to Ground Zero with Clyde Lewis, and then Coast to Coast with George Noory overnight and eventually have Hugh Hewitt wake us very early in the morning. Anyhoo…
It was mentioned on the show that the eclipse starts in Oregon and ends in South Carolina. During the discussions between Clyde and his callers it was stated there was a connection between Salem Oregon and Jerusalem and that it was very strange for Totality of the Eclipse to be starting at that location where there will be events with massive gatherings, partying and camping.
Salem Oregon was brought up several times which left me thinking, I swear, I saw a Salem either in NC or SC while driving Interstate 95 over the years. Maybe it was Winston-Salem or Salem VA. Here we go, out comes the 11pm in bed Google Maps, wife already sleeping to the soothing radio chatter. I zoomed in on the totality line checking out the little micro towns in South Carolina and started panning west while closing in.
What I found was astounding.
Salem South Carolina was there, and even more strange was it was the SAME EXACT distance away from dead center totality line as Salem in Oregon!!! Immediately I wanted to notify Clyde via Twitter and not being an avid user I eventually figured it out.
WHAT IF THERE ARE MORE SALEMS!
KENTUCKY
I continued to pan the Google map west along the path of totality. It is when I ran into Salem Kentucky right in the path is when I lost my breath.
MISSOURI I kept moving west on to Missouri. Sure enough SALEM! Not as dead on and the same distance as the others but IN THE TOTALITY LINE.
NEBRASKA Moving west Salem, once again DEAD CENTER in the totality line.
WYOMING Could not find Salem initially. Seems like it is not on google maps so a simple google search will reveal that town.
IDAHO What are the chances Salem Idaho is dead center in the path and right next to the popular Oregon events.
OREGON Of course Salem Oregon. The location where this all started and is the most popular.
THIS IS JUST NUTS FOLKS.
There are so many references to these signs in stars and sky biblical events. It could just be the strangest coincidence ever or one more step to the apocalypse.
