፩ እግዚአብሔር ከእኛ ጋር ባይሆን እስራኤል እንዲህ ይበል።

፪ እግዚአብሔር ከእኛ ጋር ባይሆን ሰዎች በእኛ ላይ በተነሡ ጊዜ፥

፫ ቍጣቸውን በላያችን በነደደ ጊዜ፥ በዚያን ጊዜ ሕያዋን ሳለን በዋጡን ነበር፤

፬ በዚያን ጊዜ ውኃ ባሰጠመን ነበር፥ በነፍሳችንም ላይ ፈሳሽ ባለፈ ነበር፤

፭ በዚያን ጊዜ የጐርፍ ውኃ በነፍሳችን ላይ ባለፈ ነበር።

፮ ለጥርሳቸው ንክሻ ያላደረገን እግዚአብሔር ይባረክ።

፯ ነፍሳችን እንደ ወፍ ከአዳኞች ወጥመድ አመለጠች። ወጥመድ ተሰበረ እኛም አመለጥን።

፰ ረድኤታችን ሰማይንና ምድርን በሠራ በእግዚአብሔር ስም ነው።

💭 በጉንዳ ጉንዶ ገዳም ሃያ ሁለት ሺህ ያህሉ የተሰወሩ ቅዱሳን መፃህፍቶች አሉበት

እንዴት ተሰወሩ ለሚለው ደግሞ ግራኝ አሕመድ በግዜው ብዙ ቤተ ክርስትያናት እያቃጠለ ሳለ ለሚስቱ ብዙ ቅዱሳን መፃህፍት እንድታቃጥልለት ይሰጣት ነበር።በግዜው ሚስቱ ደግሞ የእግዚአብሔር ፈቃድ ሆኖ ግራኝ አህመድ የሰጣትን መፃሕፍቶች ሳታቃጥልባቸው ትሰበስባቸው ነበር። ፳፪ ሺህ/22,000 መፃሕፍት ከሰበሰበች በኋላ ደግሞ ተሰወረች።

በኢትዮጵያ ትንሳኤ ዘመን ደግሞ እነዚህ መፃሕፍትና የግራኝ አሕመድ ሚስት ከተሰወሩበት እንደሚገለጡ እዛው ያሉ የገዳሙ መነኮሳን ነግረውናል።

በእረግጥ አሁንም ቢሆን በየትም ገዳም የማይገኙ መፃሕፍት በገዳም ጉንዳ ጉንዶ ይገኛሉ።

በገዳም ጉንዳ ጉንዶ ከየት መጣ? ማን አመጣቸው የማይባሉ የነገስታት መቃብሮች ይገኛሉ።

በቅርብ ግዜ የመጣ የአንድ ንጉስ አዲስ መቃብሮም አለ።ይህ አዲስ የንጉስ መቃብር አዲስ መሆኑን በጣም ያስታውቃል።ሽፋኑ አዲስ እምብዛም ያልቆሸሸ መቃብር ነው። በየግዜውም ማን እንደ ቀበራቸው የማይታወቁ አዳዲስ መቃብሮች ይገኛሉ።

ገዳም ጉንዳ ጉንዶ ሶስት የተላየዩ ስሞች አሉበት እነርሱም፤

፩ኛ. ደብረ ገሪዛ ነው ትርጉሙም የበረከት ቦታ ማለት ነው።

ይህ ስም በአካል ሄደህ መረጋገጥ ይቻላል እዛው ያሉ መኖኮሳን ለነገ የሚል ሀሳብ የላቸውም ያላቸው ሁሉ ለነገ የለንም ሳይሉ ለመጣ ሰው ይሰጣሉ። ማንም ሰው በቦታው ሆኖ አንድ ዳቦ ከበላ ጭራሽ አይራብም።

፪ኛ. ደብረ ካስባ ይባላል

ማርያም በራእይ ገዳሙ ለሰሩት በተገለጠችላቸው ግዜ ገዳሙ የሚሰራበት ቦታ ተናግራ ተሰወረች።

ነገር ግን የገዳሙን የሚሰራበት specific ቦታ ስላላወቁት ልክ ንግስት ኢለኒ የጌታችን የመድሃኒታችን እየሱስ ክርስቶስ ስቅለተ መስቀሉ ያለበትን ቦታ ለማወቅ እንዳደረገችው በዳሜራ ነበር ያወቁት። ዳሜራው በተቃጠለ ግዜ የዳሜራው ጡሽ ወደ ገዳሙ የሚሰራበት ቦታ አረፈ።

በግዜው ከሷ ላይ ምልክት እናድርግባት ተባባሉ ደብረ ከስባ ማለት ከሷ ላይ ከሚል የአማርኛ ቃል የመጣ ሁለተኛወ የገዳም ጉንዳ ጉንዶ ማርያም ስም ነው።

፫ኛ. ሶስተኛው ደግሞ ራሱ ጉንዳ ጉንዶ ነው ትርጉሙም የሃይማኖት ግንድ ማለት ነው።

የእመቤታችን ቅድስት ድንግል ማርያም በረከትዋና ረዲኤትዋ ይድረሰን።

የገዳም ጉንዳ ጉንዶ ደጅን የረገጠ ሰው እንኳን ለፅድቅ ብሎ ከሩቅ የተጓዘ ሰው አጋጣሚ ገዳም መሆኑን ሳያውቅ በእዛው ያለፈ ሰው እንኳን ምህረት ያገኛል። የማርያም ጉንዳ ጉንዶ ገዳም ቃል ኪዳን እንዲህ ይላል፦

“ደጅሽ የረገጡ ሁሉ የዘላለም የመንግስተ ሰማያት መንበር ይዘው ይመለሳሉ” ይላል ቃል ኪዳንዋ።

💭 Gunda Gundo – The Monastery That Embraces Astounding Architectural Masterpieces

The monastery of Gunda Gundo is found in the eastern zone of Tigray. Everyone could access the monastery via the town of Edagahamus, 100 km from Tigray’s capital Mekelle. From Edagahamus, 24 km travel on rough roads by car leads to Geblen, a village situated on the top of the cliff. From Geblen, tourists and local the Orthodox faithful could access it on foot since it is found between upright side cliffs. When one descends down the cliff, one can find a river. In addition to this, there are beautiful mountains, canyons and abundant fruits produced by monks. The people of Irob, who live there, are friendly and welcoming people. They know no reserve in giving everything they have to their guests.

The monastery bears its name Mariam Gunda Gundo by way of adoration of St. Marry. The church is a combination of two old mud houses that are constructed with four cruciform pillars and twelve arches. The aging church is well noted for its time honored parchments, crosses and crowns. It was constructed in the 14th century during Emperor Zerayakob. It was built by Abune Ezra also known by his nickname as ‘Ezra the wise’. The church has a rectangular shape. About 150 monks were believed to be the first dwellers of the monastery. Their leader was Aba Estifanos. The monks in general are known as Deqiqe Estifanos, meaning ‘followers of Estifanos’. Deqiqe Estifanos had faced barbaric persecution because of their theological teaching. As to historical manuscripts, Deqiqe Estifanos had a very progressive idea that could transform or upturn attitude of medieval period Ethiopian society.

When irreplaceable heritages had been ransacked and gutted down by fires invaders and intruders across Ethiopia set on, the artifacts which being kept in Gunda Gundo were spared such tragedy. Its geographical location has contributed a lot in this regard. As a result, it was named Gunda Gundo to show its preserving capability and religious significance. Before it was named Gunda Gundo, it was known as Debre Gerizen. Gunda Gundo is the oldest and famous monastery next to Debre Damo. Nevertheless, it is yet to be visited by more visitors due to the difficult geographic position.

Gunda Gundo has kept plenty of relic books, crosses, thrones and other heritages. Nevertheless, the heritages have been vulnerable to looting and damage for hundreds of years. Not only the heritages, the church.

Sunday Best: Flocks Don Orange to Support Middle East Christians

Orange is the new color for Sundays, as the movement to wear the color either in clothing or on ribbons – to raise attention to the Christians executed by ISIS.

The trend was popularized by several Christian leaders, including Catholic writer Rey Flores, who declared ‘Orange is the New Color of Martyrdom’ in an article for The Wanderer. Flores has worked to draw attention to the #orangejumpsuit project run by Rev. Patrick Mahoney, who leads the Church on the Hill in Washington, D.C.

Pastor Frank Bolella, of Living Word Community Church, in Dumont, N.J., said his church is participating because the campaign is a good way to get parishioners talking about persecution of Christians.

“Americans need to be aware first of all what is happening,” he said.

One congregant, John Estrada, said wearing orange made him feel like he was taking action.

“The reason why I am wearing an orange shirt is to represent the Christian brothers and sisters that are being persecuted,” Estrada said.

Lydia O’Leary, of Ribbons for Rescue, aims to encourage people to call on lawmakers to provide more financial assistance for Christian refugees in the Middle East and offer them safe havens in the U.S. Her group advocates Christians wear orange every day to draw more attention to Christian prisoners persecuted for their religion.

“We call on people to wear orange daily,” O’Leary told FoxNews.com. It says “we’re standing with you on this—you’re not alone.”

The color orange was chosen to represent the color of the jumpsuits worn by Christians seen executed on videos produced by Islamic State militants. In February, twenty Egyptian Coptic Christians captured in Libya were beheaded on a beach. Ethiopian Christians have also been seen martyred in ISIS videos.

Orange cuts ties with Israel, as Israeli embassy demands French authorities condemn statement of French Orange CEO.

The French cell phone company Orange announced on Thursday afternoon that it has decided to halt its operations in Israel and end its partnership with the Israeli company Partner, which franchises Orange’s name in Israel.

The dramatic move comes as Israel is launching a political campaign in response to the insulting comments made Wednesday by Stephane Richard, CEO of Orange, in which he said he wished he could “dump” Israel “tomorrow,” which he in fact did.

“Orange doesn’t want to continue to hold its brand name in countries in which it isn’t the direct provider. Therefore, Orange is interested in putting an end to giving permits to (use) its brand name,” read the Orange statement announcing the move.

Partner issued a sharp response on Wednesday, and starting Thursday morning Israel’s embassy in France has been taking action on the issue, and Israels’ Ambassador has contacted the French Foreign Ministry and Finance Ministry demanding clarification.

The Israeli Ambassador to France, Yossi Gal, expressed how seriously Israel views the comments of the French company’s CEO, and called on the French authorities to condemn the remarks.

“The embassy is working intensively with all the relevant sources to get immediate clarifications on the serious words, and is clarifying the seriousness we attribute to the issue,” said Gal.

In his statements, made at a Cairo press conference, Richard said he would “tomorrow” end his company’s association with its Israeli partner, saying, “we want to terminate this and to fix this, we don’t want it. In the existing contract, it gives us the option to terminate this without exposing this to a huge financial risk. If you were the CEO of this company you would act the same.”

Call to boycott in response

In parallel to the embassy, several Jewish organizations in France have launched a wave of protest, with some of them urging French Jews to cut their service with Orange.

Culture and Sports Minister Miri Regev (Likud) responded to the statements as well, calling on French President Francois Hollande to immediately fire Richard if he does not apologize for his anti-Semitic comments.

“On the backdrop of the recent serious events in France, the French government must show zero tolerance for anti-Semitism,” said Regev, referencing the growing wave of anti-Semitic violence in the country that was highlighted in January by a Muslim jihadist holding a kosher supermarket hostage in Paris and murdering four Jews.

The minister added, “I call on Jews of France and the world to disconnect from Orange unless Stephane Richard takes back his words. The time has come for them to understand that Jews in the world and sane voices that oppose anti-Semitism and racism also have power.”

“It’s important for me to note that the Israeli public must not turn Partner into a victim of this statement,” she warned, referencing the Israeli Orange cell phone provider. “Partner is is an Israeli company that employs thousands of workers in Israel, and I wish to strengthen its management and workers.”

“ለአሕዛብ ሁሉ ምስክር እንዲሆን ይህ የመንግሥት ወንጌል በዓለም ሁሉ ይሰበካል፥ በዚያን ጊዜም መጨረሻው ይመጣል።” [ማቴ. 24፥14]

“በሕዋ ቴሌስኮፕ የመላእክት ፎቶ ተቀረፀ” በሚል ርዕስ ኦክቶበር 16 ቀን 1990 እ.አ.አ፥ ጥቅምት 1982 ዓ.ም. ለንባብ የበቃው “ሰን” የተባለው በአሜሪካ የሚታተም መጽሔት በገለጸበት እለት ነበር ከላይ የተጠቀሰው በማቴ. 24፥14 የተጻፈው የትንቢት ቃል የተፈጸመው።

የአሜሪካ ብሔራዊ ኤሮናቲክና የሕዋ አስተዳደር (NASA) በመንኮራኩር ጭኖ በሕዋ በተከላት በ “ሀብል” የሕዋ የርቀት መነጽር (HUBBLE SPACE TELESCOPE) ሰባት ግዙፍ መላእክትን ለማየት በቅተዋል። ያዩት የሥነ–ሕዋ ተመራማሪዎች እንዳሉት “ብርሃናቸው ኃይለኛና ብሩህ ብርቱካናማ ቀለም ሲሆን፡ ጭጋጋማ የሆነ በራስ ዙሪያ የሚታይ አክሊል ተደፍቶባቸዋል። የክንፎቻቸውም ርዝመት ሰማንያ ጫማ ያህል እንደሚረዝምና የአውሮፕላን ክንፍ እንደሚያክል ሲናገሩ የሰባቱም አባላት ቡድን የታዩት ሲበሩ ነው። ፊቶቻቸው ክብ ሲሆን በዝምታ የተደበቡ ይመስላሉ። ሁሉም ብርሃን ይፈልቅባቸዋል፤ ሁሉም በሀብል ቴሌስኮፕ ፎቶ ግራፍ ለመነሳት የተዘጋጁ ከመምሰላቸውም በቀር ምሥጢራዊ በሆነው የሕዋ ዓለም እርስ በርሳቸው ፈገግታ እየተለዋወጡ ይታያሉ።” ይላል።

ይህ ጌታ ያለው የወንጌል ስብከትም በዓለም ሁሉ የመፈጸሚያው ጊዜ ሲደርስ እንዴት እንደሚፈፀም ደግሞ የጌታ የትንቢት መንፈስ አስቀድሞ ለወንጌላዊው ዮሐንስ በራእይ አሳይቶታል። ዮሐንስም ያየውንና የሰማውን እርሱም ከወንጌል ለዓለም መስበክ ጀምሮ ያለውን የፍጻሜ ዘመን ትንቢቶች መፈጸም ለምድር ሕዝብ በሙሉ የሚያበስሩ የሚያረጋግጡም ሰባት መላእክት በሰማይ መካከል ሲበሩ እንደሚታዩ ከነቅደም ተከተል መልእክቶቻቸው ከራእይ 14፥6 ጀምሮ አስቀምጦልናል። እነዚህም ለሥነ ሕዋ ተመራማሪዎች በሀብል ቴሌስኮፕ የታዩአቸውና ምስላቸውንም የተቀረፁላቸው ሰባቱ ሊቃነ–መላእክት ነበሩ።

ይህንም የሰማይ ላይን ድንቅ ነገር ይዞ የወጣው ጋዜጣም “ሁሉም መላእክት በሀብል ቴሌስኮፕ ፎቶግራፍ ለመነሳት የተዘጋጁ ከመምሰላቸውም በቀር ምስጢራዊ በሆነው የሕዋ ዓለም እርስ በርሳቸው ፈገግታ እየተለዋወጡ ይታያሉ” ብሎአል።

እንደ ሥነ–ሕዋ ተመራማሪዎች አባባል እነዚህ ሰባት መላእክት ፎቶግራፍ ለመነሳት የተዘጋጁ መምሰል ብቻ ሳይሆን ሮቶግራፍ ለመነሳት ፈልገውና ተዘጋጅተው ነበር ያደረጉት። “ምስጢራዊ በሆነው የሕዋ ዓለም እርስ በርሳቸዋ ፈገግታ እየተለዋወጡ መታያታቸው” ደግሞ የሥነ–ሕዋ ተመራማሪዎች አልገባቸው እንደሆነ እንጂ ጌታ ኢየሱስ ስለመምጫው በወንጌል የተናገረው ትንቢት አፈጻጸሙ በሰባቱ ሊቃነ–መላእክት እንደሚከናወን ዮሐንስ በጻፈልን መሠረት የእያንዳንዳቸውን ተልዕኮ ማስተላለፋቸው ነው።

ምሥጢራዊ በሆነው የሕዋ ዓለም እርስ በርሳቸው በፈገግታ ከተለዋወጡ መልእክቶቻቸው መካከል የመጀመሪያውን መልእክት የአብሳሪውን ቅዱስ ገብርኤል እነሆ፦

“በምድር ለሚኖሩ ለአሕዛብም ለነገድም ለቋንቋም ለወገንም ሁሉ ይሰበክ ዘንድ የዘላለም ወንጌል ያለው ሌላ መልአክ ከሰማይ ከመካከል ሲበር አየሁ፤ በታላቅ ድምፅም፦ የፍርዱ ሰዓት ደርሷልና እግዚአብሔርን ፍሩ ክብርንም ሰጡት፤ ሰማይንና ምድርንም ባሕርንም የውኃንም ምንጮች ለሠራው ስገዱለት አለ።” [ራእ. 14፥6-7]

ይህም መልእክት በማቴ. 24፥14 የተባለውን የወንጌል ስብከት በዓለም ሁሉ መፈጸም በማያጠራጥር መልኩ ሲያረጋግጥ ነው። “በሕዋ ቴሌስኮፕ የመላእክት ፎቶ ተቀረፀ” በሚል ርዕስ “ሰን” (ፀሐይ) የተባለው መጽሔት የጻፈው ልክ መልአኩ በተናገረው መሠረት በምድር ለሚኖሩ አሕዛብ ሁሉ በየነገዱ ቋንቋ ለየወገኑ ተተርጉሞ በራዲዮ በመጽሔቶች በጋዜጦች በቴሌቪዥንም ቀርበውለታል። በአገራችንም በኢትዮጵያም አዲስ ዘመን ጋዜጣ አድማስ ህዳር 23 ቀን 1983 ዓ.ም “ከሰን” መጽሔት ያገኘውን ተርጉሞ ለሕዝብ አቅርቦታል። በሦስት ነገድ (ብሔር) ቋንቋዎችም ተሠራጭቷል።

የጌታ ቃል በራእዩ እንደሚፈጸም የተጻፈው ይፈጸም ዘንድ በራእይ 14፥6 ጀምሮ የተጻፈው የሰባቱ መላእክት መልእክት በዚህ ሁኔታ ተላልፎአል።

እንዲያውም እነዚህ መላእክቶች ቀደም ብለው “እኛ የእግዚአብሔር መልእክተኞች ነን፥ አለን” ሲሉ እግዚአብሔር የለም በሚል ከንቱ ፍልስፍና ውስጥ ለነበሩ ለሩሲያውያን ነበር የተገለጹት። ስለዚህም (የናሳ) የምርምር ተቋም ባለሥልጣኖች፦ ይህ በሕዋ ላይ ምስል ማየቱ የመጀመሪያው መረጃ እንዳልሆነ ይናገራሉ። በ1972 ዓ.ም. ወደ አሜሪካ የኮበለለ አንድ የሶቪየት ሩሲያ ጠፈርተኛ በበኩሉ ከጥቂት ዓመታት በፊት “ሳዩዝ 8” በተባለች መንኮራኩር የጠፈር ተልዕኮው በመቶ ሃያኛ ቀኑ ላይ አንድ በብርሃንና በፈገግታ የታጀበ የመላእክት ቡድን አይቶ እንደነበረ ገልጿል፤ መስክሮአል። ይህም “ለአሕዛብ ሁሉ ወንጌል ይሰበካል።” የተባለው ቃል ፍፃሜ ዋዜማው ነበረ።

የዚህም ሁሉ ውጤት የአሜሪካና የሶቪየት መሪዎች ሮናልድ ሬጋንና ሚሐኤል ጐርቫቾቭ መላጢያ (ማልታ) በተባለች በታላቁ ባሕር (ሚድትራንያን ባሕር) በምትገኝ ደሴት ስለ ሰላም ስብሰባቸውን ከጨረሱ በኋላ ሚሐኤል ጐርባቾቭ ወደ ኢጣሊያ ተጉዘው “ዮሐንስ ጳውሎስ ፪ኛ የካቶሊክ ፓፓ ፊት ሲደፉ (ንስሃ ሲገቡ ይመስላል) የጌታ ኢየሱስ ሥነ–ስቅለት ያለበትን ቀለበታቸውን ስጥተዋቸዋል። እርሳቸውም ኮሙዩኒዝምን፥ በሶቪየት ሕብረት መሪነት ለረጅም ዘመናት በብዙ አገሮች የነበረን እግዚአብሔርንና ሥራውን የመካድ ልብ–ወለድ ፍልስፍና ሻሩ። በሶቪየት ሕብረት የእጅ አዙር ባርነት ሥር የነበሩ አገሮችን ሁሉ ነፃነት ሰጡ፥ ለቀቋቸውም። በክህደት የነበሩ አገሮች ፈጣሪአቸውን እግዚአብሔርን ወደ ማምለክ እምነት ተመለሱ። የተከፋፈሉ አገሮችም አንድ ሆኑ። የዚህ ማምለክ እምነት ተመለሱ። የተከፋፈሉ አገሮችም አንድ ሆኑ። የዚህ ውጤትም በሀገራችን በኢትዮጵያ ብዙ ሰዎች በውሸት ዕውቀት ከተባለ ከከንቱ መለፍለፍ ተላቅቀው ወደ ቤተክርስቲያን እንዲመለሱ እንዳደረጋቸው በዓይናችን አይተናል። ከዚሁ የወንጌል ስብከት በዓለም ከተፈፀመበት ከ1983 ዓ.ም. አካባቢ ጀምሮ፦

• የሥነ–ስቅለት፥ በአጠቃላይ የጌታ ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ የእመቤታችን የቅድስት ድንግል ማርያምና መጽሐፍ ቅዱስ ታሪክ በስዕልና በጥቅስ በየቦታው መታተምና መበተን፤ በየሰዓቶች ላይም፥ ሰዓትን በተመለከቱ ቁጥር የመምጫውን ሰዓት ምልክት አስተውሉ እያለ ነው።

• የመስቀሉ በየሁሉ ክርስቲያን አንገት መደረግ (መሸከም)።

• በታላቋ የኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋሕዶ ቤተ ክርስቲያን የምሽት መሥዋዕት (የሠረክ ጸሎት) መርሐ ግብር መካሄድ መጀመር፤

• ሕዝብ ተሰጥኦውን መለሰ፥ ከካህናት ጋር አብሮ ቀደሰ፥ አመሠገነ፤

• የብዙ ወንጌላውያን መነሳትና በየቦታው መሰበክ፤

• ከመቶ የማያንሱ መንፈሳዊ መጻሕፍት ተዘጋጅተው ታትመዋል።

• ለፍጻሜ ዘመን የተሰጡት ምልክቶች አንዱ ሌላውን እያጎላው እስከ ፍጻሜ ድረስ እየበረቱ ይሄዳሉና ስብከተ ወንጌሉ በተፈጸመበት በ1983 ዓ.ም. በተካሄደው የኢራቅና የሕብረ–ብሔሩ (የፋርስ ባሕረ ሰላጤ) ጦርነት የስብከተ ወንጌሉን ፍጻሜ ሲያበረታው በዚያን ወቅት፦

• ስለ አርማጌዶን ጦርነት በእንግሊዝ ጋዜጣ ታትሞ ወጣ፤

• በዮሐንስ ራእይ ምዕራፍ 18 ስለ ባቢሎን (ስለ ኢራቅ) ጥፋት የተጻፈው በኢትዮጵያ በአዲስ ዘመን ጋዜጣ ታትሞ ወጣ፤

• ሕዝብም በመጽሐፍ ቅዱስ ገበያ ላይ ዘመተ። በጊዜው ግን ለሻጭም ሆነ ለገዥ በቂ ቃለ እግዚአብሔር (መጽሐፍ) በገበያ ላይ አልተገኘም።

• በአብያተ–ክርስትያናትም ሆነ በየአደባባዩ ቃሉ ተዘራ። በየቤቱና በየመንገዱም በየመሥሪያ ቤቱም፥ በማንኛውም ሥፍራ በየመጠጥ ቤቱ እንኳ ሳይቀር በሁሉም ዘንድ ጭውውቱ ስለ ወንጌል ሆነ።

• እንኳንስ ክርስቲያን በተባሉ ባይደሉትም ዘንድ ለመከራከሪያ ወንጌል ተጠቀሰ። ስለ እንደዚህ ዓይነት ነገሮች ግን በጳውሎስ፦ “የሚያናውጧችሁ የክርስቶስንም ወንጌል ሊያጣምሙ የሚወዱ አንዳንዶች አሉ እንጂ። ንገር ግን እኛ ብንሆን ወይም ከሰማይ መላእክት ከሰበክንላችሁ ወንጌል የሚለይ ወንጌልን ቢሰብክላችሁ፥ የተረገመ ይሁን።…ሁለተኛ አላለሁ፥ ከተቀበላችሁት የተለየውን ማንም ቢሰብክላችሁ የተረገመ ይሁን።” ተብሎ በገላ. 1፥7-9 የተሰጠንን ማስጠንቀቂያና የውግዘት ቃል በተቀበልን ክርስትያኖች ዘንድ ትምህርቱ ተቀባይነት አይኖረውም እንጂ “በአሕዛብ ሁሉ ላይ ምስክር እንዲሆን ይህ የመንግሥት ወንጌል በዓለም ሁሉ ይሰበካል” የተባለው ቃል ፍጻሜ ውጤት ነው።

Space Angels: Aliens or Sign of the Apocalypse?

In 1985, six crew-members on board the Soviet Salyut-7 space station witnessed something incredible:

A flash of bright light blinded all the cosmonauts on board for a short time. After a few seconds when they could see again, the cosmonauts saw silhouettes of seven figures outside the station.

The silhouettes looked like humans, but were huge, at least 90 feet. They also had large wings and luminous halos above their heads, the creatures looked like angels.

They were glowing, they reported…

“We were truly overwhelmed.”

“There was a great orange light, and through it we could see the figures of seven Angels.”

“The entire Space Station became filled with a feeling of peace and calm”

“These glorious beings were sent by God to watch over us during our long mission”

The Angels kept pace with the space station for some 10-minutes before vanishing.

Although the “official” chronicling of this event is fraught with chronological inconsistencies, but, by the best estimations, the first reported sighting of these so-called “celestial beings” — which would also come to be known as “space angels” — occurred on July 12, 1984.

Cosmonauts Leonid Kizim, Vladimir Solovyov and cardiologist Oleg Atkov were on their astonishing 155th day aboard the Salyut 7, conducting “medical experiments,” when the trio noticed what they described as an “brilliant orange cloud” surrounding the station.

The Salyut 7 had been plagued by a steady stream of system failures and the men aboard the craft were understandably concerned that the glow might represent a life threatening fire. Fearing the worst, the cosmonauts rushed to the portholes only to find themselves blinded by an eerily intense luminescence the poured in through the circular apertures.

After their vision adjusted to the light, the curious cosmonauts radioed ground control that the station was bathed in an anomalous, self illuminated mist. The men returned to the portholes, shielding their eyes from the radiance, and that’s when they spied something so incredible that it would forever alter their perception of reality.

According to reports published in newspapers across the globe — including, allegedly, the Washington Post — the three Russian explorers saw colossal, winged, humanoid entities hovering just outside the station in the vacuum of space.

The faces of these beings were said to resemble those of humans with “peaceful expressions” and the Soviet scientists even claimed that the creatures noticed them and offered distinctly beatific smiles.

This quote was published in the later newspaper reports, although it’s difficult to discern which cosmonaut it was credited to, though some have suggested it may have been Solovyov:

“What we saw were seven giant figures in the form of humans, but with wings and mist-like halos as in the classic depiction of angels.”

The cosmonauts went on to described these mist haloed beings as being nearly 80-feet in height with a wingspan comparable to that of a 747 jet; although, it should be noted, that there’s no indication in the public record of how these men of science came to these proportional estimations. The men observed the soaring seraphim for approximately 10-minutes before they vanished; leaving the isolated and surely perplexed comrades to ponder what it was that they had seen and try to gather the courage to report it to their superiors below.

By their own admission, the cosmonauts were themselves reluctant to accept the existence of the oddly angelic beings which they had seen, and concluded that they were more likely suffering from some form of mass delusion brought on by their extended space travel than an actual encounter with alien — or perhaps even divine — entities. Their self induced denial would be put to the test 11-days later when additional cosmonauts arrived at the station and the celestial beings returned.
