☆ 20.October 2021, CNN anchor asks and judges Dr Buttar: “I’m Vaccinated. You Think There Is a Ticking Time Bomb in Me and I’m Going to Die?…. ‘I think you’re crazy!’”
❖ 17. Dezember 2022, CNN anchor Drew Griffin dies
❖ 18. Mai 2023, Dr. Rashid Buttar dies
💭 During the discussion, Dr. Buttar said, “I went through a very difficult
personal health challenge a few months ago, I was in the ICU. I had been poisoned with this 200 times the amount of what’s in the vaccinations. And I’ve said publicly, you know, you’d have to shoot me in the head with lead, i.e. bullet because I’m never going to take the vaccine. So I was actually intentionally poisoned. And part of it was, I believe, right after that CNN interview.”
💭 Dr Rashid Buttar died in mysterious circumstances just days after claiming he’d been poisoned and we’re profiling his fellow conspiracy theorists dubbed the ‘Disinformation Dozen’
The medical community is mourning the loss of Dr. Rashid Buttar, a respected doctor known for his views on COVID-19 and vaccines.
He was named as one of the “Disinformation Dozen” by the far-left media along with Democrat presidential candidate, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Dr. Buttar, 57, a licensed physician and a retired Major in the US Army who served in special forces, died on Thursday at his home, while spending time with his family, according to an email sent by his family.
Dr. Buttar gained significant attention after claiming that he had developed a stroke and myocarditis as a result of “shedding.”
These allegations immediately drew attention and he was attacked by left-wing media.
Sayer Ji, founder of alternative medicine portal GreenMedInfo shared the details surrounding the sudden decline of his health.
“For the record, Rashid reached out to me on Feb. 18th and explained that only a few weeks before, he was in the ICU for 6 days, with a diagnosis of both stroke and myocarditis, with symptoms and biomarkers consistent with adverse effects from the mRNA jabs (which he did not have). As you will see in the video, he believed that he was experiencing the result of shedding (aka, “self-amplifying” properties) from the transgenic mRNA jabs,” said Sayer.
A few days ago, Dr. Buttar joined Laura-Lynn Tyler Thompson, former co-host of The 700 Club Canada, to discuss “the Coronavirus Agenda: the real story behind the origin of Covid-19.”
During the discussion, Dr. Buttar said, “I went through a very difficult personal health challenge a few months ago, I was in the ICU.
“The message I want people to know is, remember the importance of exercising free will, and then also as a default, as a backup, slow down and remember that God is in control,” he added.
Drew Griffin, CNN’s award-winning Senior Investigative Correspondent, known for getting even the cagiest of interview subjects to engage in a story, died Saturday after a long battle with cancer, his family said. He was 60.
A gifted storyteller, Griffin had a well-earned reputation for holding powerful people and institutions accountable.
“Drew’s death is a devastating loss to CNN and our entire profession,” CNN CEO Chris Licht said in a note to staff. “A highly acclaimed investigative journalist, Drew’s work had incredible impact and embodied the mission of this organization in every way.”
Griffin worked on hundreds of stories and multiple documentaries over the course of nearly two decades on CNN’s investigative team. His reporting had been honored with some of journalism’s most prestigious awards – Emmys, Peabodys, and Murrows among them.
“But people mattered more to Drew than prizes,” Licht said.
😈 1984 Thought Police! Wow. Now it’s illegal to pray?!?
💭 Arrest of Catholic woman protester for silently PRAYING outside abortion clinic sparks debate between her supporters who condemn ‘thought crime’ and critics who accuse her of harassing women patients in ‘buffer zone’
Anti-abortion group director was arrested for praying outside abortion clinic
Isabel Vaughan-Spruce, 45, charged with four counts of violating buffer zone
She was arrested by police after she said she might have prayed in her head
Supporters said arrest was ‘thoughtcrime’ but critics say she harassed women
Isabel Vaughan-Spruce, director of anti-abortion group March for Life UK, was arrested after being accused of violating the council’s ‘buffer zone’ which bans protest nearby.
She was confronted by a police officer when she was standing on the street outside the BPAS Robert Clinic in Kings Norton, Birmingham.
The protestor, 45, was charged with four counts of violating the abortion clinic ‘buffer zone’ after she admitted that she might have been praying silently while standing outside.
She had been standing there some time, and was not carrying a sign, when an officer approached after a complaint from a member of the public on December 6.
The West Midlands Police officer told the campaigner that he had to caution her and then asked her: ‘What are you here for today?’
‘Physically, I’m just standing here,’ Mss Vaughan-Spruce, from Malvern, Worcestershire, replied.
‘Why here of all places? I know you don’t live nearby,’ the officer asked.
She responded: ‘But this is an abortion centre.’
The officer said: ‘Okay, that’s why you’re stood here. Are you here as part of a protest? Are you praying?’
She denied she was protesting but when asked if she was praying she said: ‘I might be praying in my head, but not out loud.’
The officer then arrested her on suspicion of failing to comply with a public spaces protection order.
She is now due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court on February 2 charged with four counts of failing to comply with a Public Space Protection Order.
Ms Vaughn-Spruce’s arrest has already sparked a fierce debate, with supporters saying she has effectively been arrested for ‘thoughtcrime’, a term which her legal representatives ADF UK used.
ADF UK are a British branch of American the conservative Christian legal advocacy group Alliance Defending Freedom, who have campaigned and lobbied against the right to an abortion and against the decriminalisation of homsexuality in the States.
‘Still surreal to observe a thought crime arrest in the West,’ said data scientist Justin Co on Twitter.
‘Good Lord. The thought police are with us,’ tweeted Tobye Pierce.
But John Michael Leslie criticised Ms Vaughn-Spruce, accusing of her harassing women.
He wrote on Twitter: ‘No, you’re in violation of if you repeatedly harass women going to a family planning clinic who might be asking for abortion advice.
‘”Praying in her head” is the spin from her supporters.’
Mrs Vaughn-Spruce said: ‘It’s abhorrently wrong that I was searched, arrested, interrogated by police and charged simply for praying in the privacy of my own mind.
‘Censorship zones purport to ban harassment, which is already illegal. Nobody should ever be subject to harassment.
‘But what I did was the furthest thing from harmful – I was exercising my freedom of thought, my freedom of religion, inside the privacy of my own mind.
‘Nobody should be criminalised for thinking and for praying, in a public space in the UK.’
MPs voted to introduce buffer zones around abortion clinics in October after Labour proposed an amendment to the Public Order Bill to make it an offence to intimidate or harass anyone within 150 metres of the buildings.
Anyone found guilty of breaching the zone to intimidate, threaten or persuade women will face a fine or six months’ imprisonment, increasing to two years for repeat offences.
Talking to Tucker Carlson on American news channel Fox News today she said: ‘To be arresting somebody for what they’re thinking… it’s actually quite surreal.
‘The amount of people that have used the word “Orwellian” to me to describe this, likening it to the 1984 novel – and it’s really seemed like that to me from start to finish.’
Carlson said: ‘Arresting someone for praying is an act of evil. Period.
‘And it just breaks your heart to think of all the people in charge… who are standing by and allowing this to happen.’
‘Isabel’s experience should be deeply concerning to all those who believe that our hard-fought fundamental rights are worth protecting,’ said Jeremiah Igunnubole, Legal Counsel for ADF UK.
‘It is truly astonishing that the law has granted local authorities such wide and unaccountable discretion, that now even thoughts deemed “wrong” can lead to a humiliating arrest and a criminal charge.’
‘Isabel, a woman of good character, and who has tirelessly served her community by providing charitable assistance to vulnerable women and children, has been treated no better than a violent criminal.
‘The recent increase in buffer zone legislation and orders is a watershed moment in our country. We must ask ourselves whether we are a genuinely democratic country committed to protecting the peaceful exercise of the right to freedom of speech.
‘We are at serious risk of mindlessly sleepwalking into a society that accepts, normalises, and even promotes the “tyranny of the majority”.’
As part of her conditions for bail, Vaughan-Spruce was told that she should not contact a local Catholic priest who was also involved in pro-life work – a condition that was later dropped.
Police also imposed restrictions, as part of her bail, on Vaughan-Spruce engaging in public prayer beyond the PSPO area, stating that this was necessary to prevent further offences.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: ‘Isabel Vaughan-Spruce, aged 45 from Malvern, was arrested on 6 December and subsequently charged on 15 December with four counts of failing to comply with a Public Space Protection Order (PSPO).
‘She was bailed to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court on 2 February 2023.
‘The PSPO creates a zone around a specific facility to protect women from harassment by any means if they are seeking a medical procedure or advice at an abortion clinic.’
👹 Teenager Danyal Hussein murdered two sisters in a London park last year – seemingly influenced to do so by a satanic web forum that contained instructions about demonic pacts that mirror his crime.
Convicted of killing sisters Bibaa Henry and Nicole Smallman, the BBC has uncovered new evidence that Hussein was a member of a web forum run by an American self-styled black magician.
He encouraged murder in some of his posts, including for a violent Satanic group that’s been cited as an influence on seven young men convicted of neo-Nazi terror offences in the UK over the past two years.
👹 Danyal Hussein: Teenage Satanist Jailed for Life for Murder of Sisters in Wembley
The Old Bailey heard Hussein the killer had written a pledge – signed in blood – to a demon named King Lucifuge Rofocale that he would murder six women in exchange for a win on the Mega Millions Super Jackpot lottery.
The mother of the sisters, the Venerable Mina Smallman, a retired Anglican cleric and former school teacher, said she had “never come across such evil” and fears Hussein may have become a “killing machine” if ever set free from prison.
Due to his young age, a whole life order could not legally have been imposed on the teenager.
In sentencing Hussein, now 19-years-old, to life in prison, Mrs Justice Whipple ordered him to serve at least 35 years behind bars before he could be considered for release.
“You had found these two women, you were a stranger to them, you surprised them, you terrified them, and you killed them,” she said.
She said Hussein had displayed “apparent nonchalance” after the murders, having “shattered” the lives of relatives and friends of the two women.
In his letter to the demon, Hussein had pledged to “sacrifice only women” in the hope of landing “fruitful rewards” and “wealth and power”.
He promised to “perform a minimum of six sacrifices every six months for as long as I am free and physically capable”.
Hussein had signed his own name in blood at the bottom of the page, and left a space for the demon – dubbed the Prime Minister of Hell – to add his signature.
🐷 Genocider-Nobel Peace Laureate, Muslim Abiy Ahmed Ali has also pledged – signed in blood – to Lucifer to massacring millions of ancient Orthodox Christian Ethiopians
👹 This is Satanic Ritual Abuse, Modern Day Human Sacrifice – Sadistic Murderers! In Ethiopia The Galla-Oromos are also massacring children. The Luciferians chose them because the Gala-Oromos are doing the same satanic work in our country. How many children have these evil people who are prepared for the death of hell sacrificed in Ethiopia?! God knows! Even by taking unborn babies out of the mother’s womb, they used the innocent as a sacrifice to the satanic entity; ‘Waqqeyo-Allah-Lucifer’. My they burn in hell!
[John 8:44]
“You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.”
💭 ETHIOPIA: PROTESTANT JIHAD ON ORTHODOX CHRISTIANS: US SENATORS MEET THE BLACK HITLER A. AHMED
The New York Times opinion piece promoting abortion in Ethiopia fails to mention that the country has been at war for nearly two years, or that basic medical services in Tigray, and in much of the rest of the country, essentially do not exist. It instead shames America for not doing enough to ensure that more babies are aborted in the Christian-majority African nation.
👉 “The plan is for accelerated depopulation. It is part of the extermination of the Tigrayan ethnicity, crime against humanity, war crimes,”
Depopulation is exactly what’s happening – depopulation of ancient Christians / original humans who have the identity and essence of the spirit. The Luciferians have planned their satanic project a long time ago – and executing it accordingly. For now! Africa is the continent with the youngest population worldwide. As of 2021, around 40 percent of the population is aged 15 years and younger.
In 2021, there were around 207 million children aged 0-4 years in Africa. The population aged 17 years and younger amounted to approximately 650 million. In contrast, only approximately 48 million individuals were aged 65 years and older as of the same year.”
A bizarre opinion column published by the New York Times on Monday lamented that the American government is currently not funding abortions in Ethiopia – a country ravaged by a genocidal civil war where basic health care is increasingly difficult to access, the World Health Organization (W.H.O) warned this week.
The column, written by abortion activist Anu Kumar, notably omits that Ethiopia is in the throes of a war between its government, backed by allied Eritrea, and the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF), a Marxist political party that previously ruled Ethiopia for nearly 30 years. The war began in November 2020, when the TPLF reportedly attacked a government military base, prompting Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, the 2019 Nobel Peace Prize winner, to blockade the entire Tigray region. The government has since designated the TPLF a terrorist organization and surrounded Tigray with the aid of the Eritrean military.
The Tigray blockade is reportedly causing mass starvation, depriving civilians of critical medical aid, and making it impossible for Tigrayans outside the region to know the fate of their families. Multiple international actors, including the U.S. government, have accused Abiy of “ethnic cleansing.”
Members of other ethnic groups have accused TPLF fighters of atrocities, as well, including the mass murder and gang rape of Amharic and other civilians. Both the government and the TPLF deny the evidence against them.
The article also fails to note the years-long phenomenon of outsider pro-abortion activists complaining that the world has too many Africans, enthusiastically urging African mothers to reconsider having more children. The most prominent of these scandals occurred in 2017 when French President Emmanuel Macron, leading a nation with a dark history of oppression on the African continent, complained that Africa has a “civilizational” problem in its large families. A year later, he stated that girls in Africa were not “properly educated,” leading to too many children, and “more choice would mean fewer children in Africa.”
Advocating for abortion in Ethiopia joins support for terrorist-turned-dictator Fidel Castro in Cuba, denial of the Holodomor genocide of Ukrainians by Joseph Stalin, and the claim that women enjoyed better sex under totalitarian communist regimes among the dubious causes the New York Times has embraced throughout its existence.
“Abortion has been legal in Ethiopia under a broad range of circumstances for the past 17 years. Nevertheless, at the Shekebedo Health Center, abortions cannot be performed at all,” the author, Kumar, laments. “The clinic, situated in a rural part of southwestern Ethiopia where quality health care is hard to access, is partially funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development. This funding has stopped the clinic from offering abortions to Ethiopian women.”
The column did not specify where the Shekebedo Health Center is exactly, though the southwest is far from the northern Tigray region. It also largely ceased to discuss Ethiopia following its opening. Instead, it lambasted the Helms amendment of the Foreign Assistance Act, which does not allow U.S. funding abroad to go to the killing of an unborn child “as a method of family planning” or towards the promotion of killing unborn children.
“In 2020, America sent more than $592 million in family planning funds overseas — about as much as the next three countries combined — and has contributed 40 percent to 50 percent of total direct funding over the past decade,” Kumar nonetheless noted while condemning Washington for its alleged lack of support for family planning.
The column concluded with a demand for legislation that would allow American taxpayers’ dollars to fund the killing of unborn children abroad, lamenting that “widespread Republican support for the Helms Amendment” would likely block any such legislation.
Two days after the New York Times published the pro-abortion opinion piece, the world’s most prominent Tigrayan, W.H.O. Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus warned that his home region was once again on the verge of “genocide.”
“Yes, I’m from Tigray, and yes, this affects me personally. I don’t pretend it doesn’t. Most of my relatives are in the most affected areas, more than 90 per cent of them,” Tedros told reporters at a regular W.H.O. press briefing. “This is a health crisis for six million people, and the world is not paying enough attention.”
Tedros reportedly said that a small “window” existed for the world to prevent a “genocide” of ethnic Tigrayans, most of them trapped behind the blockade with little food or medicine. The director-general noted that, in addition to the absence of outside communication and food, health care is practically nonexistent in Tigray.
“There are no services for tuberculosis, HIV, diabetes, hypertension and more – those diseases, which are treatable elsewhere, are now a death sentence in Tigray,” Tedros said.
The W.H.O. did not list access to abortions among Tedros’ concerns for Ethiopia.
The Ethiopian government announced the capture of three towns in Tigray – Shire, Alamata, and Korem – from the TPLF on Tuesday, promising civilians there would receive humanitarian aid. At least one aid worker in Shire died in an Ethiopian government bombing this week, despite the government claiming it captured the towns “without fighting in urban areas.”
Advances against the TPLF – which, when it had managed to expand outside of Tigray, reportedly allowed fighters to engage in mass gang rapes in Amharic villages – have occurred as mounting reports elsewhere in Ethiopia have surfaced implicating the government in the recruitment of child soldiers.
“The children are being abducted,” one eyewitness in eastern Harar told the Addis Standard last week. “They [security forces] break into houses and abduct children. They pick them, throw them on trucks and drive them to police stations and concentration camps. The majority of the victims are daily laborer children aged between 13 to 15.”

💭 The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) on Thursday implemented Ebola testing for travelers who have visited Uganda within the past 21 days.
Uganda is currently battling an Ebola outbreak that killed at least nine people over the past two weeks.
The U.S. Embassy in Uganda advised travelers that flights from Uganda to the United States must arrive at five selected airports — JFK, Newark, Atlanta, Chicago O’Hare, or Dulles — so they can be screened. The embassy reassured travelers that the risk of contracting Ebola is “currently low.”
The United States normally receives about 140 passengers per day who have visited Uganda recently, and more than half of them already pass through those five airports.
Similar steps were taken in March 2021, when travelers from the Democratic Republic of Congo and Guinea were routed through six U.S. airports for Ebola screening.
The Ugandan Ebola outbreak is troubling to international health officials because it managed to spread for three weeks before the first case was formally noted on September 20. It also seems to be spreading with unusual speed, although the total number of cases remains low. Ebola can remain undetected inside a human carrier for long periods of time and can be spread by animals.
As of Thursday, there have been 43 confirmed cases and nine fatalities from the outbreak, most of them in Uganda’s central administrative and commercial hub of Mubende. Six of the infections, and four of the fatalities, occurred among healthcare workers. To date, no infections have been reported outside of Uganda.
Uganda’s health ministry believes at least 18 other people may have died from Ebola before the outbreak was declared but the bodies were buried before they could be tested.
Uganda is suffering from the relatively uncommon Sudan strain of Ebola, for which there is currently no approved vaccine. Six possible vaccines are under development, with the most promising candidate developed by the U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) in Bethesda, Maryland. NIAID is reportedly considering a small shipment of its vaccine to Uganda within the next week for emergency use.
The outbreak is already the largest faced by Uganda in over 20 years and World Health Organization (W.H.O.) emergency operations manager Dr. Fiona Braka warned on Thursday that “we still haven’t reached the peak.”
Braka noted that contact tracing has been completed for only about three-quarters of the people exposed to Ebola, since it was circulating for some days before the outbreak was officially declared, so people carrying the highly infectious disease might have moved outside the controlled area in Uganda.
💭 At least 66 clinics in 15 states have stopped providing abortions since the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, according to an analysis released Thursday.
The number of clinics providing abortions in the 15 states dropped from 79 before the June 24 decision to 13 as of Oct. 2, according to the Guttmacher Institute, a research group that supports abortion rights.
All 13 of the remaining clinics are in Georgia. The other states have no providers offering abortions, though some of their clinics are offering care other than abortions.
Nationally, there were more than 800 abortion clinics in 2020, the institute said.
The new report does not include data on hospitals and physician offices that provided abortion and stopped them after the court ruling, but Guttmacher researcher Rachel Jones noted that clinics provide most U.S. abortions, including procedures and dispensing abortion medication. Recent Guttmacher data show just over half of U.S. abortions are done with medication.
States without abortion providers are concentrated in the South.
Dr. Jeanne Corwin, who provides abortions in Indiana and Ohio, said clinic closures harm “women’s physical health, mental health and financial health.’’
In several states, access is under threat because bans were put on hold only temporarily by court injunctions. These include Indiana, Ohio and South Carolina, the analysis found.
“It is precarious from a medical standpoint and certainly from a business standpoint,’’ said Dr. Katie McHugh, an OB-GYN who provides abortions in Indiana. “It’s difficult to keep the doors open and the lights on when you don’t know if you’re going to be a felon tomorrow.”

💭 Pro-abortion activists play soccer with a Bible, commit acts of desecration. The activists threw the Seattle preacher’s Bible into a portable toilet outside.
Disturbing footage from Seattle shows pro-abortion activists playing soccer with a Bible before proceeding to completely desecrate and destroy the sacred book.
In the highly offensive footage posted to social media on Sunday, a group of pro-abortion activists can be seen kicking a Bible back and forth to each other as if it were a soccer ball.
Desecration of another persons Religious material is a HATE CRIME. If this was a Quran people would be outraged. People must really hate the WORD of GOD right now. pic.twitter.com/IjXqab1qma
When the man recording the footage – who goes by “The Seattle Preacher” on social media — explains to the anti-Christian protesters that it is a “hate crime” to destroy someone else’s religious texts, a voice in the background can be heard cackling with laughter.
The video proceeds to cut to the Seattle Preacher holding the now-damaged Bible, telling the protesters that they would not have treated the book with such disrespect if it were the Quran.
Immediately, one of the protesters snatches the Bible back from the man, and the next piece of footage shows the Bible sitting in human waste in the bottom of a portable toilet.
“That right there is a hate crime … That is ungodly and it is wrong,” the Seattle Preacher lamented, with his voice breaking.
The blasphemous footage sparked a large reaction on social media, with pro-lifers and Christians expressing their disgust with the anti-Christian actions of the pro-abortion activists.
“These people are truly the cancer of Earth. Everything they pretend to be against is *exactly* who they are,” reacted prominent songwriter “Five Times August.”
“One day, their souls will understand how foolish and blind they truly are,” added professional poker player turned Christian evangelist Anna Khait.
This display of sacrilege is only one incident of many similar events that have occurred in the United States since the overturning of Roe v. Wade by the U.S. Supreme Court last Friday.
As reported by LifeSiteNews, two Christian pregnancy centers were the target of vandalism over the weekend, with one of the centers being set ablaze after being spray-painted with pro-abortion messages and threats.
In addition to the pregnancy centers, a historic Catholic church in West Virginia was burned to the ground last weekend in what authorities are describing as a “suspicious” fire.
“Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother andhold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.”
💭 Justice Clarence Thomas, the Supreme Court’s longest standing justice, has suggested that the case that constitutionalized gay marriage (Obergefell v. Hodges) could be overturned in the future, as we read in Politico:
Justice Clarence Thomas argued in a concurring opinion released on Friday that the Supreme Court “should reconsider” its past rulings codifying rights to contraception access, same-sex relationships and same-sex marriage.
The sweeping suggestion from the current court’s longest-serving justice came in a concurring opinion he authored in response to the court’s ruling revoking the constitutional right to abortion, also released on Friday.
In his concurring opinion, Thomas, an appointee of President George H.W. Bush, wrote that the justices “should reconsider all of this Court’s substantive due process precedents, including Griswold, Lawrence, and Obergefell” — referring to three cases having to do with Americans’ fundamental privacy, due process and equal protection rights.
Now that Roe v. Wade has been overturned, the next step would be to overturn the law of Sodom.

😈 Legal Abortion in Ethiopia Has Led to The Deaths of Mothers as Well as Babies
Ethiopian Medical Journal recently published a shocking analysis from Dr. Calum Miller pointing out that the legalizing of abortion in Ethiopia in 2005 did not result in a decrease, but rather an increase of maternal morbidity and mortality
Miller conducts extensive research in three African nations, with Ethiopia selected as a case study.
In a letter to the Ethiopian medical journal, Miller wrote, “Rather than being a silver bullet to reduce deaths from abortion, abortion legalization has resulted in a vast increase in the number of abortions, without any appreciable decrease in abortion mortality or maternal mortality. There is some evidence mortality, and certainly, morbidity, have even increased since legalization.
“Ethiopia’s progress in reducing maternal deaths has been considerably less than expected, especially with respect to abortion,” Miller continued.
“It is possible that, as in other countries, a disproportionate focus on family planning based on inflated claims of abortion mortality has diverted resources from emergency obstetric care and thereby failed to reduce maternal mortality more significantly.”
The Ethiopian Penal Law on Abortion, Art. 528, Section II, stipulates punishment for those who endanger the life of the unborn. However, revisions were undertaken in 20005 by the Ethiopian Ministry of Health to conform Ethiopia’s abortion legislation to the fifth Millennium Development Goals (MDG 5) of the World Health Organisation (WHO). This was out of step with dominant conservative public sentiment as well as the explicit anti-abortion position of the highly influential Orthodox Church in Ethiopia.
Cited in an essay published by St. Paul Hospital Millennium College in Addis Ababa, posted on 17 Jan 2022, a group of 12 leading Orthodox Christian and Muslims stated their support for the defense of the right to life. The Christians declared:
Man (person) is created in the image and likeness of God. Human life begins from conception biologically and spiritually. No one has the authority to take the life of an innocent (God’s creature). Killing God`s gift that is innocent is morally unacceptable. Therefore, abortion is wrong and condemned because it is a grave sin.
“The Orthodox Christian faith leaders follow a closed door policy on the matter of induced abortion,” wrote the essay’s author, Demelash Bezabih Ewnetu.
💭 Video Appears to Show Brazilian Cops Gas Mentally Ill Man to Death in Car
💭 Federal police in Brazil forcing a mentally ill Black man into the back of a car and releasing a gas grenade in the vehicle, killing him. Federal highway police stopped 38-year-old Genivaldo de Jesus Santos, as footage shows, pinning him to the ground, putting him in the back of a police car, and trapping his kicking legs with the door as gas billows out of the vehicle. An autopsy confirmed that Santos, who suffered from schizophrenia, according to family members, died of asphyxiation. Santos’ nephew, Wallison de Jesus, told local media outlets that his uncle was unarmed. The nephew said that Santos became nervous after officers found medication packets during the encounter. As per the nephew’s account, he told officers that Santos needed the medication and that his uncle “didn’t resist.” Officers tell a different story, saying that Santos “actively resisted.” In a statement, Brazil’s Federal Police said that officers had tried to use “instruments of lesser offensive potential” and that they are investigating Santos’ death. The video has sent shockwaves through Brazil, where police violence is commonplace and disproportionately affects Black civilians.
