While we were rejoicing in the victory of distance running stars like Letesenbet Gidey, we should be very sad as well that the suffering mothers and fathers of Letesenbet Gidey and Co. are not able to celebrate the Meskel festival due to the weekly drone fire coming down on them. 💭 ማስታወሻዬ፡ በዚህ ዘመን እኛ ክርስቲያኖች በሀዘን ላይ ነን። በእጅጉም ማዘን አለብን። በእነ ለተሰንበት ግደይ ድል ስንደሰት እንደነበር፣ በመሰቃየት ላይ ያሉት የእነ ለተሰንበት ግደይ እናቶችና አባቶች የድሮን እሳት ስለሚወርድባቸው በዓሉን ለማክበር ባለመቻላቸው እጅግ በጣም ልናዝን ይገባናል። ለሁሉም ጊዜ አለውና! ይህ ሀዘን ከዲያብሎስና ከመልእክተኛው ከፋሽስት ኦሮሞ አገዛዝ የመጣ ነው።

The shadow of war hung over Ethiopia’s Meskel festival in Addis Ababa on Tuesday, with high security, low turnout and Orthodox Christian priests calling for peace and forgiveness in their sermons.

The event – usually a joyous affair where huge crowds gather around bonfires – marks the moment when the 4th century Roman Empress St Helena found Christ’s cross in Jerusalem.

As they do year after year, hundreds of priests, musicians and singers clad in white robes came together on the vast expanse of the capital’s Meskel Square.

But the mood was much darker and the clergy kept turning to the conflict raging again in the northern region of Tigray.

“Truly speaking, this year, we Ethiopians are not celebrating the festival in full happiness,” said Archbishop Abuna Markos, resplendent in a white robe with gold trim and embroidered silver crosses and blue floral designs.

“Just like the mothers were crying under the cross, our mothers in the North are also crying. They are suffering. This suffering is common to all of us. It’s our own,” he said, holding a gold cross encrusted with red gems.

The war in Tigray, which broke out in November 2020 and has spilt over into other regions, has killed thousands of people, displaced many more and left an estimated 13 million people in desperate need of food aid.

The conflict has pitted Ethiopia’s federal army, its regional allies and the Eritrean military against forces loyal to the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF), the party that controls Tigray’s regional government.

The central government and its allies accuse the TPLF, which long dominated Ethiopia’s ruling coalition, of seeking to reassert its dominance, while the TPLF accuses the central government of abusing its powers and oppressing Tigray.

Both dismiss each other’s accusations. After months of relative quiet, fighting flared again in August.

“On this day, my prayer for the new year is that God says ‘enough’, because he is the owner of peace and he declared peace through his cross by denouncing hatred,” said deacon Haileyesus Meleku, holding an ornate silver staff.

ክብረ መስቀል በኢትዮጵያ

መስቀል ስንል ሦስት መሠረታዊ ቁም ነገሮችን መጥቀስ ይቻላል፤ የመጀመሪያው ጌታችን መድኀኒታችን ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ የሰውን ልጅ ከሞተ ነፍስ ለማዳን ሲል የተቀበለው መከራና የከፈለው መሥዋዕትነት መስቀል ይባላል፡፡ ሁለተኛው በክርስእንትና ውስጥ የሚያጋጥም ልዩ ልዩ ዓይነት መከራም መስቀል ነው፡፡ ጌታችን ‹‹እኔን መከተል የሚወድ ቢኖር ራሱን ይካድ፤ መስቀሉንም ተሸክሞ ይከተለኝ›› /ማቴ.፲፮፥፳፬/ በማለት መናገሩም በክርስትና ሕይወት ውስጥ የሚደርሰውን ይህንኑ መከራ መታገሥ ተገቢ መኾኑን ሲያመለክተን ነው፡፡ ሦስተኛው ደግሞ ጌታችን የተሰቀለበት ዕፀ መስቀል ነው፡፡ በሦስቱም ቁም ነገሮች ነገረ መስቀል (የመስቀሉ ነገር) ከክርስትና ጋር ቀጥተኛ ግንኙነት አለው፡፡ ስለ ክርስትና ሕይወት ሲነሣ ነገረ መስቀልም አብሮ ይታወሳል፡፡ ስለ ክርስትና ሲነገር ክርስቶስ የተቀበለው መከራ፣ የተሰቃየበትና ነፍሱን በፈቃዱ አሳልፎ የሰጠበት ዕፀ መስቀል፣ በክርስትና ሕይወት ውስጥ የሚከሠት ፈተና አብረው የሚነሡ ጉዳዮች ናቸው፡፡

ስለ መስቀል ሲነገር ክርስቶስ ሰውን ለማዳን ሲል በሥጋው የተቀበለው ስቃይ፤ ሰማዕታት በሃይማኖታቸው ምክንያት የሚደርስባቸው ስደት፣ መከራና ሞት፤ ቅድስት ቤተ ክርስቲያን በየዘመኑ በአረማውያንም በውስጥ ጠላቶችም የሚያጋጥማት የዘረፋና የቃጠሎ፣ እንደዚሁም የሰላም እጦትና የመልካም አስተዳደር እጥረት፤ በተጨማሪም በክርስትና ሕይወት ውስጥ የሚከሠቱ የኑሮ ውጣ ውረዶች መስቀልና ክርስትና የማይነጣጠሉ የአንድ ሳንቲም ሁለት ገጽታዎች ለመኾናቸው ማስረጃዎች ናቸው፡፡ ከዚሁ ኹሉ ጋርም መስቀል ሲባል ክርስቶስ መከራ የተቀበለበት፣ ቅድስት ነፍሱን ከቅዱስ ሥጋው የለየበት፣ ድንቅ ተአምራትን ያደረገበት፣ ከኹሉም በላይ ለአዳምና ለልጆቹ ነጻነትን ያወጀበት ዕፀ መስቀልም አንዱ የክርስትናችን አካል ነው፡፡

ቅድስት ቤተ ክርስቲያናችን በጉልላቷና በሌሎችም ንዋያተ ቅድሳቷ መስቀልን እንደ ምልክት ትጠቀመዋለች፡፡ መሠረቷ፣ የልጆቿ መድኀኒት ክርስቶስ በመስቀል ላይ የከፈለው ዋጋ ነውና ሰንደቅ ዓላማዋ መስቀል ነው፡፡ አባቶች ካህናት ጸሎት ሲያደርጉ ‹‹ከመስቀሉ ዓላማ፣ ከወንጌሉ ከተማ አያውጣን›› እያሉ የሚመርቁትም ስለዚህ ነው፡፡ በእጃቸው ይዘውት የሚንቀሳቀሱት፣ እኛንም የሚባርኩትም በመስቀል ነው፡፡ መስቀል የጠላት ሰይጣን ተንኮል የከሸፈበት፣ የክርስቶስ ቤዛነት የተረጋገጠበት የድኅነት ኃይል ነውና፡፡ በየገዳማቱና በየአብነት ት/ቤቱ፤ እንደዚሁም በክርስቲያኖች መኖሪያ ቤቶች ውስጥ በሚከናወኑ ተግባራት መስቀል ሰፊ ድርሻ አለው፡፡ በቅዳሴ ጊዜ፣ በጠበል ቦታ፣ በጸሎት ጊዜያት፣ ወዘተ ቡራኬ የሚፈጸመው በመስቀል በማማተብ ነው፡፡ የመስቀሉን ምልክት ባዩ ጊዜ አጋንንት ይንቀጠቀጣሉ፤ ካደሩበት ሰው ላይም በፍጥነት ይወጣሉ፡፡ ምእመናን በመስቀሉ ስንዳሰስ ከልዩ ልዩ ደዌ እንፈወሳለን፡፡

ወደ አገራችን ክርስቲያዊ ባህል ስንመለስ በኢትዮጵያ የመድኀኒታችን የክርስቶስ መስቀል በብዙ ተግባራት ላይ በምልክትነት ጥቅም ላይ ሲውል ይታያል፡፡ ለምሳሌ በቡልኮ፣ ጋቢ፣ ነጠላ፣ ቀሚስ ወዘተ የመሳሰሉ የሸማ ልብሶች፤ እንደዚሁም በጆሮ፣ በአንገት፣ በእጅና ሌሎችም ጌጣጌጦች ላይ የመስቀል ምልክት አለ፡፡ ክርስቲያን ልጃገረዶች (በተለይ በሰሜኑ የአገራችን ክፍል) በግንባራቸው፣ በጉንጫቸው፣ በአንገታቸው፣ በደረታቸውና በእጃቸው ላይ በመስቀል ቅርፅ እየተነቀሱ ያጌጡበታል፡፡ ክርስቲያኖች ከዚህ ዓለም በሞት ስንለይም በመቃብር ሣጥናችን ወይም በሐውልቶቻችን ላይ የመስቀል ምልክት ይቀመጣል፡፡ በቤት ውስጥም ስንተኛና ከእንቅልፋችን ስንነቃ ፊታችንንና መላ ሰውነታችንን በትእምርተ መስቀል እናማትባለን፤ አባቶችና እናቶችም ውሃ ሲቀዱ፣ ሊጥ ሲያቦኩ፣ እንጀራ ሲጋግሩ፣ ምግብ ሲቈርሱ፣ ወዘተ በመስቀል አማትበው ነው፡፡ በአጠቃላይ መስቀል ብዙ ነገር ነው፤ መስቀል በክርስትና ሕይወት ውስጥ በሚደረጉ ተግባራት ኹሉ ያለው ድርሻ ጕልህ ነው፡፡ /ለተጨማሪ መረጃ ግሸን ደብረ ከርቤ የቃል ኪዳን አምባ፣ መስከረም ፲፱፻፺፮ ዓ.ም፤ ገጽ ፺፮-፻፪ ይመልከቱ/፡፡

በክርስቶስ ደም የተቀደሰው ይህ ክቡር መስቀል ለበርካታ ዓመታት በአይሁድ ምቀኝነት በጎልጎታ ተቀብሮ ከኖረ በኋላ በንግሥት ዕሌኒና በልጇ ቈስጠንጢኖስ ጥረት ከተቀበረበት ወጥቶ ከፀሐይ ብርሃን በላይ አብርቷል፤ ሙት በማስነሣት፣ ሕሙማንን በመፈወስ ብዙ ተአምራትን አሳይቷል፡፡ በመላው ዓለም በሚገኙ የኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋሕዶ አብያተ ክርስቲያናት ደመራ ተደምሮ በዓሉ የሚከበረውም ንግሥት ዕሌኒ መስቀሉ የተቀበረበትን ቦታ ለማግኘት ከእግዚአብሔር መልአክ በተሰጣት አቅጣጫ መሠረት ያነደደችውን ዕጣንና የመስቀሉን መገኛ የጠቆማትን ጢስ ለማስታዎስ ነው፡፡ እግዚአብሔር የተመሰገነ ይኹን! በንጉሥ ዳዊት በልጃቸው በዘርዐ ያዕቆብ አማካይነት ወደ አገራችን የመጣው የጌታችን መስቀል ቀኝ ክፍል በአገራችን ኢትዮጵያ በደቡብ ወሎ ሀገረ ስብከት በግሸን ደብረ ከርቤ ይገኛል፡፡ ከቅዱስ መስቀሉና ከገዳሙ በረከት ለመሳተፍ ብዙ ምእመናን በየዓመቱ ቦታው ድረስ በመሔድ በዓለ መስቀልን ያከብራሉ፡፡

በዓለ መስቀል በቤተ ክርስቲያን ብቻ ሳይኾን በየመንደሩና በየቤቱም ምእመናን ደመራ በመደመር፣ ጸበል ጸሪቅ በማዘጋጀት በድምቀት ያከብሩታል፡፡ በተለይ በደቡቡ የአገራችን ክፍል በዓለ መስቀል በደማቅ ሥርዓት ይከበራል፡፡ ይህም የቀደሙ አባቶቻችን ስለ በዓለ መስቀል ይሰጡት የነበረው ትምህርት ቁም ነገር ላይ መዋሉን የሚያስረዳ መንፈሳዊ ትውፊት ነው፡፡ የአከባበሩ ባህል ከቦታ ቦታ ይለያይ እንጂ በዓለ መስቀል በየዓመቱ በመስከረም አጋማሽ በመላው ኢትዮጵያ በልዩ ድምቀትና በመንፈሳዊ ሥርዓት ይከበራል፡፡ በአገራችን መስቀልና ክርስትና እንዲህ ሳይነጣጠሉ ተሳስረው ይኖራሉ፡፡ እኛም አባቶቻችን እንዳስተማሩን ይህንን በክርስቶስ ደም የተቀደሰውን መስቀል በዘወትር ጸሎታችን ‹‹… መስቀል ኃይልነ መስቀል ጽንዕነ መስቀል ቤዛነ መስቀል መድኃኒተ ነፍስነ አይሁድ ክህዱ ንሕነሰ አመነ ወእለ አመነ በኃይለ መስቀሉ ድኅነ፤ … መስቀል ኀይላችን፣ ጽንዓችን፣ ቤዛችን፣ የነፍሳችን መዳኛ ነው፡፡ አይሁድ ይክዱታል፤ እኛ ግን እናምንበታለን፡፡ ያመነውም እኛ በመስቀሉ ኀይል እንድናለን፤ ድነናልም›› እያልን ለመስቀሉ ያለንን ክብር እንገልጻለን፤ በክርስቶስ መስቀል ኀይል መዳናችንንም ስንመሰክር እንኖራለን፡፡ ልዑል እግዚአብሔር በመስቀሉ ኃይል ኹላችንንም ከልዩ ልዩ ዓይነት መከራ ይጠብቀን፡፡

ጂሃድ በአርሲ | መጀመሪያ መስቀሉን አነሱት ፥ ዝም ተባሉ ፥ አሁን የመሰቀሉን ልጆች እያረዷቸው ነው

የተዋሕዶ ልጆች ዝምታ ብዙ መስዋዕት እያስከፈለ ነው!

ከአምስት ወራት በፊት ኦሮሚያ በተባለው ሲዖል፡ በአርሲ ነገሌ መስቀል አደባባይ የተተከለውን ክቡር መስቀል ሲነቅሉት የሚከተለውን ጽሑፍ አቅርቤ ነበር፦

☪ የአማሌቃዉያን ጂሃድ በአርሲ| መሀመዳውያን በነጌሌ ከተማ የሚገኘውን መስቀል ማየት የለብንም ብለው አነሱት

•+ ነገ የአንገት ማዕተብህን ካልበጠስክ የሚልህ አራጅ መምጣቱን ምልክቱ ይኸው።

መሀመዳውያኑ የአርሲ ነገሌ ምእመናንን በመጨረሻም በሕግ ሽፋን መስቀላቸው እንዲነሣ ተደርጓል። ህዝቡም በአባቶች ምክርና ተረጋግቶ መስቀሉ በእንባና በጸሎት ተነቅሎ ተነሥቷል።

በአርሲ ነጌሌ ከተማ የሚገኘውና ለረጅም ዓመታት በኦርቶዶክሳውያን የመስቀልና የጥምቀት ማክበሪያ ሜዳ ላይ ተተክሎ ይገኝ የነበረውን መስቀለ ክርስቶስ በወሀየቢያ አክራሪ ሙስሊም ባለስልጣናት መስቀሉን ማየት የለብንም በማለት አስቀድሞ በጉልበት ነቅለው ቢወስዱትም የነገሌ ህዝብ ነቅሎ ወጥቶ መስቀሉን ባለ ሥልጣናቱ ከደበቁበት ሥፍራ አስመልሶ ከተነቀለበት ሥፍራ መልሶ ተክሎት የነበረ ቢሆንም

መሀመዳውያኑ አህዛብ ባለሥልጣናት በጉልበት እንደማይችሉ ሲያውቁ በሕግ ሰበብ ከጂኒ ሽመልስ አብዲሳ በተሰጠ ትዕዛዝ የኦሮሚያ ክልል ፍርድ ቤት ውሳኔ እንዲወስን ተደርጎ መስቀሉን ኦርቶዶክሳውያን እንዲያነሱት ለሀገረ ስብከቱ እንዲደርስ ተደርጓል። ይህ ዛሬ የተፈጸመው ግፍ በእስላሞች ላይ ቢሆን ብላችሁ አስቡት። የሚጠራው ሰልፍ ብዛቱ፣ የሚወጣው ሰይፍም ብዛቱ፣ ዛቻና ፉከራው መግለጫው ራሱ ብዛቱ ለጉድ በሆነ ነበር።

አባቶቻችንም ይሄን አስታክከው መሀመዳውያኑ የጅምላ እልቂት ሊፈጽሙ እንደሚችሉ በማሰብ ህዝብ በኦሮሚያ ወታደር እንዳይረሸን ሲሉ በዛሬው ዕለት የከተማና የገጠሩ የተዋሕዶ ልጆች በተገኙበት በታላቅ ጸሎትና በታላቅ ልቅሶ የጥምቀት በዓል ማክበሪያ የመስቀል ምልክታችን እንዲህ በሚያሳዝን መልኩ በለቅሶ እና በእንባ ታጀቦ ከነበረበት የመስቀል አደባባይ ወደ ደብረ ልዳ ቅዱስ ጊዮርጊስ ቤተ ክርስትያን በክብር ታጅቦ ወደ ደብሩ ከሄደ በኋላ በተዘጋጀለት ስፍራ በዚህ መልኩ በክብር ተተክሏል።

ይሄ ምልክት ነው። ትግራይ አክሱም ያለህ፣ ጎንደር ጎጃም ወለጋ ጅማ ባሌ ያለህ፣ ሆሣዕና ወላይታ ጋሙጎፋ ያለህ የተዋሕዶ ተከታይ ይሄ ምልክት ነው። አዲስ አበባ ለአርሲ ነገሌ ቅርብ የሆነ ከተማ ነው። የሚገርመው በአርሲ ነገሌ የሚሾሙ ከንቲባዎች የመመረጫ ዋናው መስፈርታቸው የነበረው “ በመስቀል አደባዩ ላይ የተተከለውን መስቀል የሚያስነሳ” መሆን ነበረበት። እናም አሁን በስንትና ስንት ሙከራ የግራኝ ዐቢይ ምልምል ሽመልስ አውሬሪሳ ገብቶበት የአሁኑ ከንቲባ ተሳክቶለታል።

“ብዙዎች ለክርስቶስ መስቀል ጠላቶቹ ሆነው ይመላለሳሉና፤ ብዙ ጊዜ ስለ እነርሱ አልኋችሁ፥ አሁንም እንኳ እያለቀስሁ እላለሁ። መጨረሻቸው ጥፋት ነው፥ ሆዳቸው አምላካቸው ነው፥ ክብራቸው በነውራቸው ነው፥ አሳባቸው ምድራዊ ነው። እኛ አገራችን በሰማይ ነውና፥ ከዚያም ደግሞ የሚመጣ መድኃኒትን እርሱንም ጌታን ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስን እንጠባበቃለን።”[ፊልጵ ፫፥፲፰፡፳]

በተዋሕዶ ልጆች ላይ በኦሮሚያ ሲዖል እየተካሄደ ያለው ጭፍጨፋ በግራኝ ዐቢይ አህመድ መስተዳደር በደንብ ተጠንቶበትና በቅደም ተከተልም እንደሚካሄድ በአርሲ ነገሌ የተፈጸመው ጂሃዳዊ ዘመቻ ይጠቁመናል።

እስኪ ተመልከቱ፦ አታላዩ ዐቢይ አህመድ አገር–አቀፍ ምርጫውን ከግንቦት ወር አንስቶ የክረምቱንና የፍልሰታ ጾም ሳምንታት በመጠቀም ወደ ነሐሴ መጀመሪያ አዘዋውሮት ነበር ከዚያም ነሐሴ መጨረሻ እንዲሆን ወሰነ። ኮሮና ከመምጣቷ በፊት ይህ ምርጫ እስኪደርስ ድረስ አሁን በምናያቸው ሁለት ጉዳዮች የሕዝቡን ቀልብ ለመግፈፍ አቀዱ። እነዚህም፦

• 👉 ፩ኛ. የሕዳሴውን ግድብ በሐምሌ ወር ላይ “እንሞላዋለን ፥ አንሞላውም“
• 👉 ፪ኛ. አጫሉን ገድሎ ጂሃድ ማካሄድ

እነ ግራኝ ዐቢዮት ይህን ነው ያሰቡት፦

👉 ፩ኛ. “የሕዳሴው ግድብ የኦሮሚያ ነው፤ የምርጫ ካርዳችንም ነው። ሙሌቱን የምንጀምር ከሆነ መጀመሪያ ላይ ሰው እንዲጠራጠርና እንዲኮንነን እናደርገዋለን፤ በዚህም ቀኑ ሲደርስ ባንቧውን ከፍተን ተቃዋሚዎቻችንን እናሳፍራቸዋለን። ይህም በሚቀጥለው ነሐሴ ወር በሚደረገው ምርጫ ተወዳጅነትን ያመጣልናል፤ ድምጽ ይገዛልናል። ግድቡን የማንሞላው ከሆነ እና ሕዝቡም ጸጥ ካለ አረቦቹ ወንድሞቻችን ስለማይቀየሙን ገንዘባቸውን ያጎርፉልናል። ሞላነውም አልሞላነውም ቤኒሻንጉልና ግድቡ በእኛ በኦሮሞዎች እጅ ይገባል“

እያየን ነው የዚህን ትውልድ ዝቅጠትና ጥልቅ ውድቀት? ወገኑ የዋቄዮ–አላህ ልጅ ስላልሆነ ብቻ ተመንጥሮ በሚገደልበት በዚህ የሃዘን እና የለቅሶ ዘመን አንዳንድ ክሃዲ ባንዳዎች ገና ካሁኑ “ግድቡ ሞላ! እልልልል!” ማለት ጀምረዋል። የግልገል ጊቤን ግድብ የሕዳስዌ ግድብ ነው ብለው ቪዲዮ ለቅቀዋል።

መስቀል ስንል ሦስት መሠረታዊ ቁም ነገሮችን መጥቀስ ይቻላል፤ የመጀመሪያው ጌታችን መድኀኒታችን ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ የሰውን ልጅ ከሞተ ነፍስ ለማዳን ሲል የተቀበለው መከራና የከፈለው መሥዋዕትነት መስቀል ይባላል፡፡ ሁለተኛው በክርስእንትና ውስጥ የሚያጋጥም ልዩ ልዩ ዓይነት መከራም መስቀል ነው፡፡ ጌታችን ‹‹እኔን መከተል የሚወድ ቢኖር ራሱን ይካድ፤ መስቀሉንም ተሸክሞ ይከተለኝ›› /ማቴ.፲፮፥፳፬/ በማለት መናገሩም በክርስትና ሕይወት ውስጥ የሚደርሰውን ይህንኑ መከራ መታገሥ ተገቢ መኾኑን ሲያመለክተን ነው፡፡ ሦስተኛው ደግሞ ጌታችን የተሰቀለበት ዕፀ መስቀል ነው፡፡ በሦስቱም ቁም ነገሮች ነገረ መስቀል (የመስቀሉ ነገር) ከክርስትና ጋር ቀጥተኛ ግንኙነት አለው፡፡ ስለ ክርስትና ሕይወት ሲነሣ ነገረ መስቀልም አብሮ ይታወሳል፡፡ ስለ ክርስትና ሲነገር ክርስቶስ የተቀበለው መከራ፣ የተሰቃየበትና ነፍሱን በፈቃዱ አሳልፎ የሰጠበት ዕፀ መስቀል፣ በክርስትና ሕይወት ውስጥ የሚከሠት ፈተና አብረው የሚነሡ ጉዳዮች ናቸው፡፡

ስለ መስቀል ሲነገር ክርስቶስ ሰውን ለማዳን ሲል በሥጋው የተቀበለው ስቃይ፤ ሰማዕታት በሃይማኖታቸው ምክንያት የሚደርስባቸው ስደት፣ መከራና ሞት፤ ቅድስት ቤተ ክርስቲያን በየዘመኑ በአረማውያንም በውስጥ ጠላቶችም የሚያጋጥማት የዘረፋና የቃጠሎ፣ እንደዚሁም የሰላም እጦትና የመልካም አስተዳደር እጥረት፤ በተጨማሪም በክርስትና ሕይወት ውስጥ የሚከሠቱ የኑሮ ውጣ ውረዶች መስቀልና ክርስትና የማይነጣጠሉ የአንድ ሳንቲም ሁለት ገጽታዎች ለመኾናቸው ማስረጃዎች ናቸው፡፡ ከዚሁ ኹሉ ጋርም መስቀል ሲባል ክርስቶስ መከራ የተቀበለበት፣ ቅድስት ነፍሱን ከቅዱስ ሥጋው የለየበት፣ ድንቅ ተአምራትን ያደረገበት፣ ከኹሉም በላይ ለአዳምና ለልጆቹ ነጻነትን ያወጀበት ዕፀ መስቀልም አንዱ የክርስትናችን አካል ነው፡፡

ቅድስት ቤተ ክርስቲያናችን በጉልላቷና በሌሎችም ንዋያተ ቅድሳቷ መስቀልን እንደ ምልክት ትጠቀመዋለች፡፡ መሠረቷ፣ የልጆቿ መድኀኒት ክርስቶስ በመስቀል ላይ የከፈለው ዋጋ ነውና ሰንደቅ ዓላማዋ መስቀል ነው፡፡ አባቶች ካህናት ጸሎት ሲያደርጉ ‹‹ከመስቀሉ ዓላማ፣ ከወንጌሉ ከተማ አያውጣን›› እያሉ የሚመርቁትም ስለዚህ ነው፡፡ በእጃቸው ይዘውት የሚንቀሳቀሱት፣ እኛንም የሚባርኩትም በመስቀል ነው፡፡ መስቀል የጠላት ሰይጣን ተንኮል የከሸፈበት፣ የክርስቶስ ቤዛነት የተረጋገጠበት የድኅነት ኃይል ነውና፡፡ በየገዳማቱና በየአብነት ት/ቤቱ፤ እንደዚሁም በክርስቲያኖች መኖሪያ ቤቶች ውስጥ በሚከናወኑ ተግባራት መስቀል ሰፊ ድርሻ አለው፡፡ በቅዳሴ ጊዜ፣ በጠበል ቦታ፣ በጸሎት ጊዜያት፣ ወዘተ ቡራኬ የሚፈጸመው በመስቀል በማማተብ ነው፡፡ የመስቀሉን ምልክት ባዩ ጊዜ አጋንንት ይንቀጠቀጣሉ፤ ካደሩበት ሰው ላይም በፍጥነት ይወጣሉ፡፡ ምእመናን በመስቀሉ ስንዳሰስ ከልዩ ልዩ ደዌ እንፈወሳለን፡፡

ወደ አገራችን ክርስቲያዊ ባህል ስንመለስ በኢትዮጵያ የመድኀኒታችን የክርስቶስ መስቀል በብዙ ተግባራት ላይ በምልክትነት ጥቅም ላይ ሲውል ይታያል፡፡ ለምሳሌ በቡልኮ፣ ጋቢ፣ ነጠላ፣ ቀሚስ ወዘተ የመሳሰሉ የሸማ ልብሶች፤ እንደዚሁም በጆሮ፣ በአንገት፣ በእጅና ሌሎችም ጌጣጌጦች ላይ የመስቀል ምልክት አለ፡፡ ክርስቲያን ልጃገረዶች (በተለይ በሰሜኑ የአገራችን ክፍል) በግንባራቸው፣ በጉንጫቸው፣ በአንገታቸው፣ በደረታቸውና በእጃቸው ላይ በመስቀል ቅርፅ እየተነቀሱ ያጌጡበታል፡፡ ክርስቲያኖች ከዚህ ዓለም በሞት ስንለይም በመቃብር ሣጥናችን ወይም በሐውልቶቻችን ላይ የመስቀል ምልክት ይቀመጣል፡፡ በቤት ውስጥም ስንተኛና ከእንቅልፋችን ስንነቃ ፊታችንንና መላ ሰውነታችንን በትእምርተ መስቀል እናማትባለን፤ አባቶችና እናቶችም ውሃ ሲቀዱ፣ ሊጥ ሲያቦኩ፣ እንጀራ ሲጋግሩ፣ ምግብ ሲቈርሱ፣ ወዘተ በመስቀል አማትበው ነው፡፡ በአጠቃላይ መስቀል ብዙ ነገር ነው፤ መስቀል በክርስትና ሕይወት ውስጥ በሚደረጉ ተግባራት ኹሉ ያለው ድርሻ ጕልህ ነው፡፡ /ለተጨማሪ መረጃ ግሸን ደብረ ከርቤ የቃል ኪዳን አምባ፣ መስከረም ፲፱፻፺፮ ዓ.ም፤ ገጽ ፺፮–፻፪ ይመልከቱ/፡፡

በክርስቶስ ደም የተቀደሰው ይህ ክቡር መስቀል ለበርካታ ዓመታት በአይሁድ ምቀኝነት በጎልጎታ ተቀብሮ ከኖረ በኋላ በንግሥት ዕሌኒና በልጇ ቈስጠንጢኖስ ጥረት ከተቀበረበት ወጥቶ ከፀሐይ ብርሃን በላይ አብርቷል፤ ሙት በማስነሣት፣ ሕሙማንን በመፈወስ ብዙ ተአምራትን አሳይቷል፡፡ በመላው ዓለም በሚገኙ የኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋሕዶ አብያተ ክርስቲያናት ደመራ ተደምሮ በዓሉ የሚከበረውም ንግሥት ዕሌኒ መስቀሉ የተቀበረበትን ቦታ ለማግኘት ከእግዚአብሔር መልአክ በተሰጣት አቅጣጫ መሠረት ያነደደችውን ዕጣንና የመስቀሉን መገኛ የጠቆማትን ጢስ ለማስታዎስ ነው፡፡ እግዚአብሔር የተመሰገነ ይኹን! በንጉሥ ዳዊት በልጃቸው በዘርዐ ያዕቆብ አማካይነት ወደ አገራችን የመጣው የጌታችን መስቀል ቀኝ ክፍል በአገራችን ኢትዮጵያ በደቡብ ወሎ ሀገረ ስብከት በግሸን ደብረ ከርቤ ይገኛል፡፡ ከቅዱስ መስቀሉና ከገዳሙ በረከት ለመሳተፍ ብዙ ምእመናን በየዓመቱ ቦታው ድረስ በመሔድ በዓለ መስቀልን ያከብራሉ፡፡

በዓለ መስቀል በቤተ ክርስቲያን ብቻ ሳይኾን በየመንደሩና በየቤቱም ምእመናን ደመራ በመደመር፣ ጸበል ጸሪቅ በማዘጋጀት በድምቀት ያከብሩታል፡፡ በተለይ በደቡቡ የአገራችን ክፍል በዓለ መስቀል በደማቅ ሥርዓት ይከበራል፡፡ ይህም የቀደሙ አባቶቻችን ስለ በዓለ መስቀል ይሰጡት የነበረው ትምህርት ቁም ነገር ላይ መዋሉን የሚያስረዳ መንፈሳዊ ትውፊት ነው፡፡ የአከባበሩ ባህል ከቦታ ቦታ ይለያይ እንጂ በዓለ መስቀል በየዓመቱ በመስከረም አጋማሽ በመላው ኢትዮጵያ በልዩ ድምቀትና በመንፈሳዊ ሥርዓት ይከበራል፡፡ በአገራችን መስቀልና ክርስትና እንዲህ ሳይነጣጠሉ ተሳስረው ይኖራሉ፡፡ እኛም አባቶቻችን እንዳስተማሩን ይህንን በክርስቶስ ደም የተቀደሰውን መስቀል በዘወትር ጸሎታችን ‹‹… መስቀል ኃይልነ መስቀል ጽንዕነ መስቀል ቤዛነ መስቀል መድኃኒተ ነፍስነ አይሁድ ክህዱ ንሕነሰ አመነ ወእለ አመነ በኃይለ መስቀሉ ድኅነ፤ … መስቀል ኀይላችን፣ ጽንዓችን፣ ቤዛችን፣ የነፍሳችን መዳኛ ነው፡፡ አይሁድ ይክዱታል፤ እኛ ግን እናምንበታለን፡፡ ያመነውም እኛ በመስቀሉ ኀይል እንድናለን፤ ድነናልም›› እያልን ለመስቀሉ ያለንን ክብር እንገልጻለን፤ በክርስቶስ መስቀል ኀይል መዳናችንንም ስንመሰክር እንኖራለን፡፡ ልዑል እግዚአብሔር በመስቀሉ ኃይል ኹላችንንም ከልዩ ልዩ ዓይነት መከራ ይጠብቀን፡፡

ለ 1400 ዓመታት ያህል በእስልምና የባርነት ቀንበር ስር ያሉት ግብጻውያን ክርስቲያን ወገኖቻችን የመስቀል ንቅሳትን የተማሩት ከኢትዮጵያውያን ነበር

እንኳን ለበዓለ መስቀል በሰላም ሑላችንንም አደረሰን፡ አደረሳችሁ!!

ቅዱስ መስቀሉ መጋቢት ፲ ቀን ነበር ከተቀበረበት የወጣው። በክርስቶስ ደም የተቀደሰው ይህ ክቡር መስቀል ንግሥት ዕሌኒ መስከረም 16 ቀን 320ዓ.ም በዕጣን ጢስ ምልክት ቁፋሮ አስጀምራ መጋቢት ፲ ቀን አግኝታ በማውጣት ታላቅ ቤተመቅደስ ጎልጎታ ላይ ሠርታ በክብር አስቀመጠችው። ይህ መስቀልም ከዚያ ዕለት ጀምሮ እንደ ፀሐይ እያበራ፣ ድውይ እየፈወሰ፣ አጋንንት እያባረረ፣ ልዩ ልዩ ተአምራት እየሰራ፣ ሙት እያነሳና ዕውር እያበራ ተአምራቱን እስክ ዛሬ ድረስ ቀጠለ።

የመስቀሉን ኃይለኛነት የተገነዘቡት አባቶቻችንና እናቶቻችን፣ ወንድሞቻችንና እኅቶቻችንን በግንባራቸው፣ በአንገታቸውና በእጃቸው ላይ የመስቀል ንቅሳት አድርገው ስናይ በሞኝነትና በግብዝነት እንደ ባላገርነት አድርገን ስንቆጥረው ነበር፤ አውሬው በልጆቹ አድሮ እያታለለን ነበርና፦

“ለክርስቶስ መስቀል ጠላቶች ሆነው ይመላለሳሉና ብዙ ጊዜ ስለ እነሱ አልኋችሁ አሁንም እንኳ እያለቀስኩ እላለሁ መጨረሻቸው ጥፋት ነው ሆዳቸው አምላካቸው ነው ክብራቸው በነውራቸው ነው ሐሳባቸው ምድራዊ ነው” [ፊል. 3፤18-19]

አሁን የንቅሳት ባህል (ለማይጠቅመው ነገር ሁሉ) በመላው ዓለም እንደ ጉድ በተስፋፋበት ዘመን፤ ይህ የመስቀል ንቅሳት ማድረግ ምን ያህል ቆንጆና ብልህነት የተሞላበት ተግባር እንደሆነ እየተገነዘብነው ነው።

ለዘመናት በመሀመዳውያን በከፋ መልክ የሚበደሉት ግብጻውያን ክርስቲያን ወንደሞቻችን እና እህቶቻችን “መስቀሌን ከአንገቴ ቢበጥሱ ከቆዳየ ላይ ግን ፍቀው አያወጡትም” በሚል ጽኑ የክርስቲያናዊ መንፈስ እጆቻቸው ላይ መስቀል ይነቀሳሉ፤ በዚህም ፀረ–ክርስቶስ በዳዮቻቸውን ድል ነስተዋል፤ በዚህም እስከ ዕለተ ሞታቸው ድረስ ክርስቲያን መሆናቸው ተለይተው እንዲታወቁ አድርገዋል። እግዚአብሔር የተመሰገነ ይሁን!

አንዳንድ ማስረጃዎች እንደሚጠቁሙን የግብጻውያኑ የመስቀል ንቅሳት ለመጀመሪያ ጊዜ የተገኘው በስምንተኛው መቶ ክፍለ ዘመን ነበር። በወቅቱ መነኮሳት ነበሩ እጆቻቸውን በክርስትና ምልክቶች ማተም የጀመሩት፤ እነርሱም ይህን የተማሩት ከኢትዮጵያውያን ክርስትያኖች መሆኑ ይታወቃል።

የአውሬውን ምልክት ለመከላከል ይቻለን ዘንድ ሁላችንም በቀኝ እጃችን ወይም በግምባራችን ላይ [ራዕይ 10: 4፤13:16] የመስቀል ንቅሳት የምናደርግበት ዘመን ላይ የደረስን ይመስለኛል።

መስቀሉ አበራ | እንኳን ለብርሃነ መስቀሉ በሰላም አደረሰን!

Meskel (Ge’ez: መሰቀል) is an annual religious holiday in the Ethiopian Orthodox and Eritrean Orthodox Churches commemorating the discovery of the True Cross by Queen Helena (Saint Helena) in the fourth century. Meskel occurs on the 17 Meskerem in the Ethiopian calendar (September 27, Gregorian calendar, or on 28 September in leap years).

The Meskel celebration includes the burning of a large bonfire, or Demera, based on the belief that Queen Eleni had a revelation in a dream. She was told that she shall make a bonfire and that the smoke would show her where the true cross was buried. So she ordered the people of Jerusalem to bring wood and make a huge pile. After adding frankincense to it the bonfire was lit and the smoke rose high up to the sky and returned to the ground, exactly to the spot where the Cross had been buried

According to Ethiopian traditions, this Demera-procession takes place in the early evening the day before Meskel or on the day itself. The firewood is decorated with daisies prior to the celebration. Charcoal from the remains of the fire is afterwards collected and used by the faithful to mark their foreheads with the shape of a cross (compare Ash Wednesday). With Demera, some believe that it “marks the ultimate act in the cancellation of sins, while others hold that the direction of the smoke and the final collapse of the heap indicate the course of future events – just as the cloud of smoke the Lord over the Tabernacle offered guidance to the children of Israel (Exod. 40:34-38).

A Kenyan Lady: Deadly Destruction in New York City Could Cancel Presidential Debate

Tomorrow’s debate between Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton and Republican candidate Donald Trumpmight have to be cancelled if recent prophetic warnings are fulfilled.

The Presidential debate is scheduled to start at 9:00 pm on September 26 at Hofstra University, which is located on Long Island in Hempstead NY, just 20 miles from Midtown Manhattan. However, urgent prophetic warnings shared over the past 48 hourshave identified a deadly event strikingNew York City within the next three days with tomorrow being the most likely date.

The recent increase in civil unrest and terrorist attacks throughout the United States, including abombing in New York City, makes these new warnings more believable. New York Cityhas been a favorite target in the past.

There have been many prophetic warnings about chaos surrounding the 2016 Presidential election. These include warnings from Glenda Jackson,Stephen Hanson, Mena Lee Grebin, Matt Smith, and Brian Carn.

Brian Carn shared a specific warning about New York City saying, “New York City will eventually deal with a new terrorist attack. This will re-open an old wound from the days of 9/11 and many are going to flee into Toronto, Ontario.”

Over the years, there have been many prophetic warnings of death and destruction coming to New York City, including amazingly accurate warnings about the terrorist attacks on 9/11/2001, not only in identifying the event, but also the exact date. David E. Taylor,founder and leader of Joshua Media Ministries International, has a greattestimony about that. However, most of thewarnings have not included dates, but these latest warnings do.

Yesterday morning, I received an email warning of a disaster in New York City within the next five days. Itwas originally posted on September 23, so we now haveonlythree days remaining. After hearing it, I was skeptical so I was not planningto share it. But then I prayed, “God, if you want me to share this, pleaseconfirm it.”

I assumed that would be the end ofit, but within the next few hours, I received two more emails from different people with similar warnings. Neither of them were aware of the other warnings, so I believe they were confirmations. However, I did not personally get a word from God about this, so I am relying on the information sent to me by these three sources. I hope and pray it turns out to be nothing.

Late Friday evening, September 23 2016, a Kenyan lady named Esther Hadassah shared a 2-minute video on her Facebook page with an urgent warning about an attack on New York City happening within the next five days.

Esther did not give a specific date, but she said it would happen “in less than five days.” Since she shared the video shortly before midnight on September 23, I am assuming that means the event would happen by Wednesday September 28 or sooner.

“Shalom. My name is Esther and I have a message from the King of kings.

It is an urgent message from the Lord of Lords; the creator of Heaven and earth; the owner of the universe; our Father who art in heaven; the Ancient of Days; the Alpha and the Omega; the Beginning to the End.

His name is YWHY; His name is Jehovah; His name of El Gibhor; His name is El Shaddai; His name is El Sabaoth; His name is Elohiym.

This is what He told me to tell them and issue, it as an emergency alert to America.

He said, ‘In less than 5 (five) days! In less than 5 (five) days, sadly, unfortunately, the dreadful, the devastating, the deadly, the terrible, the heart wrenching, the painful, it is going to happen in America.’

And He told me, it will be a day like we have never seen in our time. A terrible day. We have not seen this kind of day. Very destructive, very catastrophic, very terrible.

My Note: In the coming two days, Meskel (መስቀል) will be celebrated all over Ethiopia. Meskel (The Cross) is an annual religious holiday in the Ethiopian Orthodox Church commemorating the discovery of the True Cross by Queen Helena (Saint Helena) in the fourth century. Meskel occurs on the 17 Meskerem in the Ethiopian calendar (September 27, Gregorian calendar, or on 28 September in leap years).

The Meskel celebration includes the burning of a large bonfire, or Demera, based on the belief that Queen Eleni had a revelation in a dream. She was told that she shall make a bonfire and that the smoke would show her where the true cross was buried. So she ordered the people of Jerusalem to bring wood and make a huge pile. After adding frankincense to it the bonfire was lit and the smoke rose high up to the sky and returned to the ground, exactly to the spot where the Cross had been buried.

Deeply hoping for tomorrow that there will be bonfire only in Ethiopia.

Saudi Arabia Hajj Disaster Death Toll Has Reached at Least 2,177

The crush and stampede that struck the hajj last month in Saudi Arabia killed at least 2,177 pilgrims, a new Associated Press tally showed Monday, after officials in the kingdom met to discuss the tragedy.

The toll keeps rising from the Sept. 24 disaster outside Mecca as individual countries identify bodies and work to determine the whereabouts of hundreds of pilgrims still missing. The official Saudi toll of 769 people killed and 934 injured has not changed since Sept. 26, and officials have yet to address the discrepancy.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdul Aziz, who is also the kingdom’s interior minister, oversaw a meeting late Sunday about the disaster in Mina, according to the official Saudi Press Agency. The agency’s report did not mention any official response to the rising death toll.

“The crown prince was reassured on the progress of the investigations,” the SPA report said. “He directed the committee’s members to continue their efforts to find the causes of the accident, praying to Allah Almighty to accept the martyrs and wishing the injured a speedy recovery.”

King Salman ordered the investigation into the disaster, the deadliest in the history of the annual pilgrimage. It came after a crane collapse in Mecca earlier that month killed 111 worshippers, and the twin disasters marred the first hajj to be overseen by the king since he ascended to the throne at the start of this year.

The Saudi king holds the title of “Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques,” and the monarchy’s supervision of the hajjis a source of great prestige in the Muslim world. Riyadh has rejected a suggestion by Shiite power Iran, its main regional rival, to have an independent body take over planning and administering the five-day hajj pilgrimage, which is required of all able-bodied Muslims once in their lifetimes.

Iran has repeatedly blamed the disaster on the Saudi royal family, accusing it of mismanagement and of covering up the real death toll, which Tehran says exceeds 4,700, without providing evidence.

“The lying and hypercritical bodies, which claim to (be promoting) human rights, as well as the Western governments, which sometimes make great fuss over the death of a single person, remained dead silent in this incident in favor of their allied government,” Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said Monday, according to a transcript on his website.

“If they were sincere, these self-proclaimed advocates of human rights should have demanded accountability, compensation, guarantee for non-recurrence and punishment for the perpetrators of this catastrophe.”

Iran and Saudi Arabia are deeply divided on a host of regional issues and back opposite sides in the wars in Syria and Yemen, where a Saudi-led coalition has been at war with Iran-backed Shiite rebels, known as Houthis, since March.

Saudi Arabia has meanwhile been targeted in gun and bomb attacks by an affiliate of the extremist Islamic State group, which holds a third of Iraq and Syria in its self-declared “caliphate.” Like al-Qaida before it, the IS group views the Saudi royal family as illegitimate because of alleged corruption and its alliance with the United States.

The AP count of the dead from the Mina crush and stampede comes from state media reports and officials’ comments from 30 of the over 180 countries that sent citizens to the hajj.

Iran leads all the affected countries, saying it had 465 pilgrims killed. Many of the dead also came from Africa. Mali said it lost 254 people, while Nigeria lost 199, Cameroon lost 76, Niger lost 72, Senegal lost 61, and Ivory Coast and Benin both lost 52.

Others include Egypt with 182, Bangladesh with 137, Indonesia with 126, India with 116, Pakistan with 102, Ethiopia with 47, Chad with 43, Morocco with 36, Algeria with 33, Sudan with 30, Burkina Faso with 22, Tanzania with 20, Somalia with 10, Kenya with eight, Ghana and Turkey with seven, Myanmar and Libya with six, China with four, Afghanistan with two and Jordan and Malaysia with one.

The previous deadliest-ever incident at hajj was a 1990 stampede that killed 1,426 people.

My Note: Millions of Christian Ethiopians come together at “Meskal/Cross Square” for one of the most important annual Christian feasts. Never, ever in the history of the Ethiopian church has occurred that the faithful Christians have experienced like the weirdo Muslim stamped in Mecca. Million Christians lighten their candles to express their faith in The One True Egziabher God with brotherly/sisterly LOVE, PEACE and JOY – whereas, in Mecca we witness time and time again Muslims sacrificing their lives in order to please their god. All their dark ‘celebrations’ end up like the annual Serengeti wildebeest migration, in Tanzania, that begins in June and goes through until October featuring impressive crossings of the Mara River where wildebeest risk their lives to stampede through the water and are often attacked by crocodiles. By the way, pay attention to the fact that the Islamic Eid al-Adha “Feast of the Sacrifice” is purposely placed between/around the two important Christian Holidays in the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Calendar: New Year’s Day (September 11/12, and Meskel (September 27). Interesting, next year this Islamic feast will fall on September 11.

Remember, rain barely drops down in Mecca, but on September 11, 2015 the scary crane that collapsed on the grand Mosque was brought down by strong wind and heavy rain. In that surrounding geographical area it rains only in Ethiopia during that season ., on Ethiopia’s New Year’s Day, the strong wind (The Breath of God ) + heavy rain obviously came from the other side of the Red Sea, from Zion (the Holy Mountains of Ethiopia).

Mecca Crane Collapses on 9-11 Anniversary

September 11 (Day 254, Redemption): The weather angels caused a sudden thunderstorm over Mecca that toppled a crane on worshipers in a mosque on the anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attack on the US. A construction crane was struck by lightning and toppled onto the Grand Mosque about 5:45 PM Saudi time. Over 100 were killed and over 200 injured. The crane belonged to the Bin Laden family construction company, which is in charge of the £14 billion mosque expansion project.

The Chart at the time of the crane collapse contained a Wing, a Coffin, and two Plows. A Wing is a symbol of power. The Wing corresponded to the crane. A Coffin is for burying the dead, and a Plow symbolizes intensive suffering, like being plowed under. One Plow pointed to the Last Adam in Sagittarius, for an enemy attack. The other Plow pointed to the God of the Covenants in Scorpius, for final judgment. The Judgment on the September 11 anniversary by the weather in an act of God was obviously God’s revenge (Rom 12:19), or redemption per the meaning of today, Day 254, for redemption.

The Redeemer Planet was on the Ascendant in Aquarius, for being redeemed from Sheol. This corresponds to those who didn’t die, but it also corresponds to God’s payback (Rom 12:19). Aquarius corresponds to Florida where three of the September 11 hijacker pilots received flight training.

Conclusion

The crane falling on the Mecca mosque during a thunderstorm corresponds to the Battle of the Thunderstorm (1 Sam 2:10; 7:10-11). The weather angels that caused the thunderstorm work for God – not Allah. The worshippers of Allah were cursed by God on the anniversary of September 11, 2001 by a Bin Laden family crane.

Fifteen of the 19 terrorists on September 11 were Saudi citizens. This is the link to Mecca in Saudi Arabia. The Ascendant sign was Aquarius with the Redeemer Planet. This corresponds to redemption, or payback, associated with Florida, where three of the hijacker pilots trained. The Descendant was Leo, corresponding to Washington, DC. The Sun and Moon were setting, corresponding to the end of the day (or time period).

The cursing of the thunderstorm in the desert corresponds to the Judgment of the Prostitute of Babylon, who is behind the Muslim religion.
