Mass Grave of Ethiopian Christians Killed by ISIS Unearthed in Sirte
The bodies of 34 Ethiopian Christians executed by ISIS militants in Libya’s Sirte in 2015 have been exhumed from a mass grave, the Department of Criminal Investigations of the Central Region (DCICR) reported on Monday.
The grave was unearthed on Sunday, after information was obtained during investigations of arrested ISIS members.
“The bodies will be repatriated to Ethiopia once internal and international legal procedures are completed” the DCICR said.
In October 2017, Libyan authorities located the burial place of the Egyptian Copts who were beheaded by ISIS together with the Ethiopian Christians.
20 Egyptian Copts were handed over to the Egyptian government on May 14, 2018 after taking DNA samples.
A horrific video posted on social media in April 2015 appeared to show ISIS militants beheading the Christians on a beach.
ISIS took control of Sirte in 2015 and lost the city in December 2016 to Al-Bonyan Al-Marsous forces.

In a recent Facebook post, well-known Roman exorcist Father Gabriele Amorth said the Islamic State (ISIS) “is Satan,” and he also questioned the lack of response from Western nations.
“ISIS is Satan. Things first happen in the spiritual realms, then they are made concrete on this earth,” he said in an April 8 post on the social media website.
Father Amorth continued, “there are only two spiritual realms: The Holy Spirit and the demonic spirit.”
He said the demonic enters in “because evil is disguised in various ways: political, religious, cultural, and it has one source of inspiration: the devil. As a Christian I fight the beast spiritually.”
“The political world, which today seems to lack a response in face of the massacre of Christians, will also have to fight ISIS and it will do it in a different way. If it advances as it seems to be doing, we ask ourselves what has the West done over the course of the last decades.”
The priest, who founded the International Association of Exorcists, explained that Satan “keeps saying that the world is in his power, and what he says is true. Biblically speaking we are in the last days and the beast is working furiously.”
ISIS took control of the largest Christian city in Iraq, Qaraqosh, in August last year, causing tens of thousands of people to flee.
The terrorist group has persecuted and murdered Christians and other religious minorities in parts of Syria and Iraq.
Fr. Amorth, age 90, has performed over 70,000 exorcisms during the past 29 years. The number is so high because carrying out an exorcism can require multiple sessions and each time the rite is administered it is counted as one instance.
Fr. Amorth has previously spoken about the danger posed by people no longer believing in the devil, as well as a shortage of exorcists.

“For, behold, the LORD comes out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.“[Isaiah 26:21 ]
A video released by the Islamic State group on Sunday appears to show the killing of two different groups of captured Ethiopian Christians by the extremist group’s Libyan affiliates.
The 29-minute online video purports to show militants holding two groups of captives. It says one group is held by an IS affiliate in eastern Libya known as Barka Province and the other by an affiliate in the south calling itself the Fazzan Province.
A masked fighter brandishing a pistol delivers a long statement, saying Christians must convert to Islam or pay a special tax prescribed by the Quran.
The video then switches between footage of the captives in the south being shot dead and the captives in the east being beheaded on a beach.

My note: of course, no good-news over the Arabian desert, and, as usual, no word from the Christian-biased mainstream media! CNN, BBC & Co seem to be more concerned about the fate of an Indian rape-victim, gay rights or Burmese Muslim invaders than about the increasing persecution of “fellow” Christians. How ungrateful!
Saudis finances and supports the evil Wahhabi movements across the globe, including Ethiopia, brainwash weak citizens of Ethiopia to murder fellow Ethiopian Christians, kidnap little girls, burn down their Holy Christian Churches, and desecrate Bibles and Icons like the one we see in the above heart-breaking video from the year 2012. All these things are happening to the very same Ethiopian people who once gave asylum and protection to the followers of their Prophet. All soon be in our school books. Well, Christians have in history suffered much persecution and their faith has been strengthened in those times. So, whether they like it or not, many Christians will begin to demonstrate acts of power by faith – many non-Christians will come to faith in the Living God, through witnessing the acts of power, and through experiencing a manifestation of the presence of Eyesus Chrstos, through the Spirit of the Almighty Egziabher. Let’s pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters.
Saudi authorities on Feb. 8 arrested 53 Ethiopian Christians, mostly women, who were attending a worship service in the private, rented home of an Ethiopian believer in Dammam, the capital of the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, WEA-RLC has learnt from sources inside the Arab kingdom.
The Christians – 46 women and six men including three church leaders – were arrested at about 10 a.m. last Friday, a close relative of one of those arrested told WEA-RLC. The three church leaders – two of them women – were produced in an Islamic court in Dammam the same day when authorities alleged they were converting Muslims to Christianity, the source added.
Authorities are likely to release two of the Ethiopian Christians who have residential permits on Monday, and the others are expected to be deported.
Dammam, a center for petroleum and natural gas and all commerce in the eastern parts of the kingdom, is a large metropolitan, industrial area and a major seaport. However, religious freedom is not granted to the numerous visitors or expats in the region, like elsewhere in the nation. A Saudi girl who embraced Christianity and fled Dammam in September 2012 was granted asylum in Sweden last month, according to Al-Yaum newspaper.
In December 2011, Saudi authorities arrested 35 Ethiopian Christians, 29 of them women, for “illicit mingling,” after police arrested them when they raided a private prayer gathering in Jeddah. Of those arrested 29 were women, who were subjected to arbitrary body cavity searches in custody

My Note:There are over 200.000 Somalis in Addis Abeba alone.
Elite cops are investigating claims that terror group al-Shabaab is behind the murders of 14 Christians in the Western Cape.
The killings occurred within a 10-month period across the province, from Mossel Bay to Philippi, Macassar and Paarl.
All of the victims were Ethiopian Christians living here and the murders were initially thought to be random xenophobic attacks on foreigners.
The latest of these is a shop owner who was gunned down in Philippi last Friday.
But police are now investigating new evidence that the killings have been carried out by Somalia-based Al-Shabaab.
It is the first time there has been any suggestion that Al-Shabaab – which has links to Al-Qaeda – is operating in South Africa.
Authorities were made aware of the link to the Cape killings when a Christian bishop, also a former police inspector, noticed a distinct pattern in the murders.
The bishop – who does not want to be identified out of fear that he may be targeted – has sent three letters to President Jacob Zuma highlighting his concerns.
In one letter – seen by the Daily Voice – the bishop states: “Since September, seven of my Ethiopian Community have been shot, of which two have died and five seriously wounded… these are in fact acts of members of Al-Shabaab.
“Al Qaeda affiliates operating undercover by Somalis pretending to be normal refugees… the motive appears to be to try and drive out Ethiopian shop owners.”
Prominent Christian Egyptians snubbed Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Sunday because they feel the U.S. administration favors Islamist parties over secular and liberal forces in society at the expense of Egypt’s 8 million Christians.
Coptic Christian businessman and politician Naguib Sawiris and three other Coptic politicians said in a statement they were objecting to Clinton’s policies in solidarity with the mainstream Egyptian.
They also said that since the revolution, the U.S. administration and Clinton have paid many visits in support of Islamic political currents in society while ignoring other civil movements.
The four prominent Copts consider the meeting with the Islamist parties a form of external pressure to push the Islamists to power and ignore other civil movements. They blamed the U.S. for even showing a preference for an Islamist presidential candidate.
