Buchanan: Bannon Is ‘Right’ — Media Is the Opposition Party Trying to ‘Bring Down Trump’

Posted by addisethiopia on May 13, 2017

Wednesday on Newsmax TV’s “The Steve Malzberg Show,” conservative political commentator Pat Buchanan said White House chief strategist Steve Bannon was correct when he said the media was the opposition party. He added that just like they took down President Richard Nixon, they are attempting to “bring down” President Donald Trump.

Buchanan said, “There is a cultural left and a political left and a media if you will, are a conglomerate. It’s not a conspiracy but it is collusion, and they were determined to break and bring down Nixon from the day he was nominated. They were determined, tried to break, and they succeeded. Tried to break and bring down Reagan over Iran-Contra. I was in the White House then. And the same forces, similar forces are trying to break and bring down Trump. And it’s transparent. It’s right in front of us. You can’t watch those briefings and things, watch TV cable TV and the rest of it without seeing there is a real animus. I mean it’s the White House correspondents’ dinner. Steve Bannon was dead right when he said one thing, the media are the opposition party.”

Selected comments:

Liberals Call for Comey to Resign, Trump Fires Comey, Liberals Outraged

Media is most certainly the opposition. They seem to appoint themselves as some form of legit body representing the people when in fact they are no such thing. They ARE in FACT a mistrusted group by a staggering percent of the American people

Six LEFTY Billionaire Corporations 90% newspapers, TV, Radio, Movies, Books, Magazines. Worst is not Bias but CENSORSHIP of Government Atrocities such as Government (CPS) killing over 1,000 children every year! But this is censored and may not be reported in the press.

Media is owned-and-operate by the Rothchild/Jesuit satanist pedophile Cabal. Time for a FREE Press, that is not CONTROLLED by them

The bulk of the national media today is insane. No question about it. The reporting is so maliciously false and obviously unbelievable that insanity is the only possible description. People simply cannot normally be that stupid and idiotic, can they?…;)

When you control information, you control the future. Nothing new here. The State Controlled Liberal Media is losing their control.
“Fake News” is nothing more than a front to combat this losing battle

Buchanan is absolutely correct on this. As long as the media dedicates all of its efforts to trashing Trump, they are the enemy of the people.

He’s 100% right, what is going on is as subtle as a flying mallet. What bothers me is how many people are “dumbed down” and still buy into the fake stream media.

Election Tampering – sure we need to prosecute the big network, big media attempting to play kingmakers and pick the winners for the voters with all kinds of criminal tactics. Neo Marxists and Globalists congregate in a devil’s brew. They make up 90% of the mainstream Global media spectrum. Long live Bannon!

When CNN & Co Have Become as Corrupt & Disgraceful as Aljezeera & North Korean Central Television

Posted by addisethiopia on October 21, 2016

Folks, it is beyond repulsive and stomach turning watching our Leftist enemies deceptively promoting this evil woman as an angel of light

Hillary Clinton: America’s Most Dangerous Enemy Within

From Florida, I flew out to Reno to entertain at the 2016 Nevada Women’s Expo. In between my shows, I made pit-stops in my hotel room. Folks, I could hardly believe what I was seeing. Every news TV channel I turned to was beating the crap out of Trump trying to brand him an abuser of women. Leaked Hillary emails have revealed that the mainstream media gets its marching orders from the Clinton campaign.

Thus, the media fix is in: portray Trump in a red hoodie with a pitchfork; portray wicked-crooked Hillary as angelic, wearing a pure white flowing gown. Never have I seen such a shock-and-awe orchestrated media campaign to demonize a candidate.

On the issue of “abuse of women”, if we had a fair and balanced mainstream media rather than operatives of the Clinton campaign, Hillary’s advisers would have begged her, “Pleeeeease Ma’am, don’t go there!!!” Hillary and Bill’s records of abusing women is horrific (assault, rape, Hillary humiliating a 12- year-old girl to get her rapist off and more). And yet, the Clintons arrogantly know they can get away with attempting to brand Trump an abuser of women while they belong in the Infamous Abusers of Women Hall of Shame.

Folks, it is beyond repulsive and stomach turning watching our Leftist enemies deceptively promoting this evil woman as an angel of light.

Work for the Mainstream Media? You Should Kill Yourself

FreeMediaThe American media is now no better than its predecessors at Pravda or the Nazi Ministry of Propaganda; reporters have become nothing but lying packs of jackals holding onto what perks they can and dutifully obeying the call to lick the peanut butter off of master’s nether-regions. They sit when they should hunt, roll over when they should bark, and play dead whenever tidbits of truth break the fence and coming roaring out of emails or foreign correspondence.

We live in an age where the Daily Show attempts(terribly might I add) to poke fun at Wikileaks, where CNN tells viewers it’s “illegal” to read the truth about their government, and even Bruce Springsteen gets wheeled out to try to convince people that this country isn’t a rigged, bullshit puppet show.

The sheer amount of shit being dumped down the throats of the American populace should inspire any human with blood still pumping through their veins to take flamethrowers to every government building and start hanging people from streetlights with their own intestines.

And yet….we don’t. The American people will line up on election day, just as they have every one before that, and take part in a grand collective illusion that they are helping guide history. They will smile as they are handed small stickers that say “I voted” and for the next 12 hours they’ll become amateur civics professors even though a hilarious amount of them don’t really know what the fuck their voting for anyway.

All those cool movies and ideologies assure us that if we just jam “the truth” into enough people’s faces they’ll suddenly wake up, detach, and reach some political Nirvana as if thousands of years of slavery are all just some big misunderstanding. That moment came and went with this election. What did “the people,” that weird herd everyone from Libertarians to Communists look to court do?

They go about their daily lives. But are they innocent? They aren’t oblivious, they’ve smelled something foul but for them it’s just too much trouble. They will serve, even gleefully so, as long as they get a big show every four years that makes them feel like they matter.

The Bourgeoisie, the powerful, know this. They exploit it.

Voter Suppression: Corporate Media Declare Victory for Hillary Clinton Weeks Before Election

Posted by addisethiopia on October 19, 2016

A host of establishment media outlets are declaring victory for Hillary Clinton weeks before the U.S. presidential election — as they did on the eve of the Democratic primary in California, causing Bernie Sanders supporters to suspect coordinated voter suppression.A couple of headlines from the past week show the pro-Clinton talking point in wide circulation:

New York Times: “Early Voting Could Point to Hillary Clinton Victory Well Before Nov. 8”

ABC News: “Irish Bookies Are So Confident Clinton Will Win, They’re Already Paying Out”

Steve Goldstein, DC Bureau Chief of MarketWatch: “The election’s over — Hillary Clinton won”

NPR: “NPR Battleground Map: Hillary Clinton Is Winning — And It’s Not Close”

Los Angeles Times: “Even lots of Donald Trump’s supporters are starting to think he’ll lose the election”

And several outlets are even setting expectations for a Clinton “landslide”:

FiveThirtyEight: “Should Clinton Play For An Electoral College Landslide?”

Washington Post: “As Trump stumbles, Clinton weighs a striking choice: Expand the map or stick to the plan”

Vox: “The polls are split between Hillary Clinton winning and … Hillary Clinton winning in a landslide”

The drumbeat of an inevitable Clinton victory recalls an Associated Press story one day before the California Democratic primary.

BBC Scrubs ‘Ali’ From Munich Killer’s Name On TV, In Articles, AND On Social Media

Posted by addisethiopia on July 24, 2016

DisInfo

The BBC has unilaterally chosen not to report the Munich attacker’s full name, in what appears to be an attempt to scrub any Muslim or Islamic heritage link to its coverage of the incident.

Most sources at this point suggest that Ali David Sonboly – the Munich attacker who targeted children and killed nine yesterday – is not connected to radical Islam, but the BBC has gone to extraordinary lengths to try to keep any reference to his heritage out of its coverage, opting to name him only as “David Sonboly”.

Other news organisations including the Wall Street Journal, Independent, Daily Mail, and Sky News named the attacker as “Ali David Sonboly” or “David Ali Sonboly”. CNN even referred to him simply as “Ali Sonboly”.

But the BBC had different ideas, opting to refer to him in their online news coverage, national and international broadcast coverage, and on social media (above) as “David Sonboly”.

At 3pm UK time on Saturday, the BBC made reference to the killer as Ali Sonboly. Within one hour however, the BBC had changed its references to the now dead culprit to “David Sonboly”. At 6:31pm, the news bulletin on the BBC News Channel referred to him as “David Sonboly” though at 6:32pm their correspondent in Germany referred to him as “David Ali Sonboly”.

Sold Out: Talk Radio Host Grills Soledad O’Brien on Al Jazeera Funding

Posted by addisethiopia on August 13, 2014

Hugh Hewitt had one question for Soledad O’Brien on Monday: Is she on the payroll of terror sponsors?

Are you still a special correspondent for Al Jazeera?” Hewitt asked the veteran journalist on his radio program.

I am,” O’Brien responded. “I run a production company, so I work with National Geographic, with Al Jazeera America, with CNN, with HBO, and a number of other companies.”

Businessweek Today has a story on Qatar, which owns Al Jazeera, and the headline calls Qatar a patron of Islamists,” Hewitt continued. “It says that Qatar funds and arms Islamists fighting Syrian President Bashar Assad and bankrolling Hamas in the Gaza Strip. So honest question: How can you take money from them?”

O’Brien responded by defending Al Jazeera’s reporting, saying that she puts quality journalism above all.

I know that the journalism can be good,” Hewitt pressed, “but if the funding for the journalism comes from a regime that is funding ISIS, does it creep you out?”

She wouldn’t give a straight answer.

Well you know, I think again, at the end of the day, the thing that I think about is the journalism,” O’Brien said. “And I think those are very complicated issues. They’re not as straightforward as that.”

Is there anything that would cause you to say if Qatar was shown to be funding ISIS, would you quit Al Jazeera?” Hewitt asked.

Again, she wouldn’t say.

Very rarely do I operate in hypotheticals,” O’Brien responded, but said she would “take it under consideration.”

When Hewitt later asked if Qatar is funding Islamists, she replied that “it’s unclear to me.”

CNN Is Being Sued After Correspondent Arwa Damon Reportedly Bit an EMT While Drunk in Baghdad

That bites! CNN is being sued for more than $1 million by an EMT who claims one of the network’s correspondents bit her while drunk and seeking medical assistance, TMZ reports.

According to the lawsuit obtained by TMZ, EMT Tracy Lamar claims that Arwa Damon, a Beirut-based Senior International Correspondent, was in the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad last month when she became “seriously intoxicated” and “unruly and violent.”

After authorities arrived, Lamar was reportedly trying to help Damon when the correspondent bit her on the left arm. TMZ reports the suit claims that while being provided medical assistance, Damon declared she was a “major reporter for CNN.”

My Note: CNN’s ratings are down because nobody seems to trust them anymore. Unfortunately, the owners will not allow the station to tell the truth – they kill the truth. Just look at CNN international; the ads are louder, the journalists make too much unpleasant noise, no integrity, no honesty – THEY SIMPLY HAVE LITTLE TO TELL!

They parrot uncritically the New-World-Order controlled global mass media Propaganda. Almost all the journalists and presenters of CNN and co. who ‘have something to say’ are often partial, biased and opinionated, self-righteous, self-centered and selfish – in no way qualified to report or comment due to these facts. The only things we have now with such news media are disinformation, misinformation or distractions. Folks are so shrouded in Lies and Deception, they seem unable to see what’s coming.

On one hand, I give credit to their core journalism skills, on the other, I’ve been able to notice that 10 of the most irritating, boring, attention-seeking and overrated. CNNInternational correspondents, presenters and commentators who destroy CNN are:

  1. Richard Quest
  2. Becky Anderson
  3. Hala Gorani
  4. Fareed Zakaria
  5. Christiane Amanpour
  6. Anderson Cooper
  7. Sara Sidner
  8. Arwa Demon
  9. Nima Elbagir
  10. Reza Sayah

In The Information Age Disinformation/Misinformation Reign

Posted by addisethiopia on November 17, 2013

My Note: In a rational world one could ask these days why governments, the united nations, the so-called humanitarian organizations and the mainstream media (including RT who made this report) are all involved in a conspiracy of silence concerning the ongoing cruel and inhuman treatment of poor Ethiopian immigrants by the Saudis. In a normal world, one would wonder why and how Saudi Arabia, one of the world’s ‘most flagrant human-rights abusers, is set to join the UN Human Rights Council. You would at least expect the weather report from ‘rainy’ Riyadh. Well, of course, we no longer live in a rational and normal world.

Thousands Protest Press Credibility in March Against Mainstream Media

MediaLiesThousands of people in the UK and US united in their rejection of mainstream media in a mass protest. Protesters targeted the headquarters of media giants like Fox News, the BBC and NBS, decrying their narrow coverage of world affairs.

The March Against Mainstream Media (MAMM) organized the international protest via social media and challenged the established media to cover it.

In a statement posted on the MAMM website, the organization said big media outlets had two options: “report on the fact that thousands of people are currently protesting outside of their buildings because they are keeping important news from the public’s eyes,” or ignore them.

Across America people turned out brandishing banners, condemning established news channels.

“Boycott the media!” one banner read in High Point California, while in Kansas city supporters of the movement wearing Anonymous masks delivered the message “America deserves the truth!”

A recurrent theme that cropped up a number of times in the US protests was the media’s coverage of the stricken nuclear plants in Fukushima Japan that were damaged in the 2010 earthquake-triggered tsunami.

“The radiation from that plant is going to reach us and affect us, not just in California but worldwide.  How is it going to affect us, how is it going to affect our water, our food supply, and our way of life?” said one protester to KMPH Fox 24.

Meanwhile in London, supporters of the anti-establishment movement gathered outside the offices of the BBC in a sit-in-style protest.

Confidence in US mainstream media has been declining sharply over the past couple of years with only 44 percent of Americans trusting mass media, according to a Gallup poll in September. The figures for this year are a slight improvement on 2012 when the survey saw trust in the media fall to a record low of 40 percent.

However, a large amount of Americans (46 percent) believe media has become too liberal, compared to only 13 percent who regard mainstream news coverage as overly conservative.

The BBC’s Christian Persecution Denial

BiaBBCWhile it is no secret that the so-called mainstream media habitually fails to report on the international phenomenon of Christian persecution, few are aware that they sometimes actively work to undermine the efforts of those who do expose it.

Consider a new report by the BBC titled “Are there really 100,000 new Christian martyrs every year?” by Ruth Alexander.

Regarding the all-important question of how many Christians around the world are killed, Alexander herself later quotes another source saying “there is no scientific number at the moment. It has not been researched and all experts in this area are very hesitant to give a figure.”

And this seems to be the real point.  Of all the questions and aspects of Christian persecution that objective researchers and reporters can explore and expose, why did the BBC pick the very one that 1) cannot be answered and 2) is ultimately irrelevant—at best academic, at worst cold and callous?

(The issue is less whether 100,000 Christians around the world are killed annually for their faith, but rather that any Christian, any human—even Alexander’s “paltry” 7,000—is being killed for their faith.)

The BBC naturally picked this “numbers” question because it best serves to minimize the specter of Christian persecution, specifically by prompting the casual reader to conclude, “Oh, well, things are certainly nowhere near as bad as I thought for Christian minorities outside the West—indeed, they’re 93% better!”

More importantly—and here we reach BBC policy—this number-crunching approach serves to exonerate the chief persecutor of Christians, the Islamic world, or, as Alexander is quick to conclude: “[t]his means we can say right away that the internet rumours of Muslims being behind the killing of 100,000 Christian martyrs are nonsense.” (Meanwhile, there’s this ongoing monthly series to deal with.)

Incidentally, since when do numbers matter to the supposedly “humanitarian-conscious” BBC and other “liberal” media where one life (provided it’s the “right” life) often gets nonstop coverage?  Would the BBC ever write a report dedicated to trying to show that the number of Palestinians killed in the conflict with Israel is actually 93% lower than widely believed?

Of course not. When it comes to the Arab-Israeli conflict, far from minimizing anything, the BBC regularly exaggerates to demonize Israel.

And therein lies the main lesson.  The BBC is not in the business of reporting facts but rather creating smokescreens, building and knocking down straw men, and chasing red herrings—all to further its narratives, in this case, that “only” 7,000-8,000 Christians are killed annually for their faith, and that the Islamic world is largely innocent—so what’s all the fuss about?

‘BBC’ Darling, Calling Arabs to Fight Against Africans

Posted by addisethiopia on June 14, 2013

ThirstyBirdMy Note: Abdel Bari Atwan, who once was on Colonel Gaddafi’s payroll, is urging Arabs to unite behind Egypt to defeat, what he calls, the Afro-Israeli conspirators who are planning to block the river Nile.

This disgraceful editor-in-chief of the pan-Arab daily, “Al Quds al Arabi” — who often appears on the BBC and CNN, has been a big supporter of terror attacks on Israel. His anti-Israel, anti-US and anti-Christian stance is so obvious, yet, the BBC & co give him a prominent platform to spread misinformation and disinformation

He is, of course one of those people who speak differently in Arabic and in English. He once said:

If you support the Palestinian resistance, you do not consider Bin Laden’s attacks terrorism”Abdul Bari Atwan, a London-based journalist and editor of Al Quds Al Arabi, told Egypt’s ON TV, when asked if Bin Laden was a terrorist, that:“If you support the Palestinian resistance, you do not consider [Bin Laden’s attacks] terrorism. But if you are with America, Europe, and Israel, you do consider it terrorism. It depends on your definition of terrorism … Whoever fights America and its enterprise in the region, and whoever fights Israel and the American occupation, is not considered a terrorist by me.”

How this wicked individual has become a regular contributor to BBC Dateline and writes for The Guardian poses a riddle to me.

This’s what he wrote on the Nile issue:

On Tuesday, Egyptians woke up to news from Ethiopia that it intends to complete the ‘Rennaissance Dam’ on the Blue Nile. The river currently supplies 85 percent of downstream Egypt’s water. Such a step would not only affect Egypt’s water supply but would also impede electricity production at the mega, hydro-powered Aswan Dam.

Several Egyptian newspapers used the story of Ethiopia’s planned and its impact on Egypt’s national security to attack Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi. They said he must bear responsibility for Ethiopia’s decision, accusing him of ignoring this critical issue, even though it was not dealt with by the previous regime.

Ethiopia began construction of the dam in 2011, at a cost of $4.7 billion, with support from Israel. The plan is to use hydro-power to generate electricity and turn the Renaissance Dam into a major source of energy in Africa.

The main threat to Egypt, however, does not lie in generating electricity or diverting the river. The main problem is that Ethiopia is also building an industrial lake to store 74 billion cubic metres of water, greatly reducing Egypt’s quota of water.

The initial results of such water shortage would lead to the suspension of turbines that generate electricity in the Aswan Dam, in turn having a significant impact on agricultural land.

Egypt’s previous regime lacked a suitable policy for working with Nile Basin countries. Hosni Mubarak’s government was arrogant in its dealing with Sudan for over ten years, a stance which led Israel to intervene, confronting Egypt and paving the way for this threat to its national security and economy.

Israel’s Foreign Minister at the time, Avigdor Lieberman, who had once threatened to bomb the Aswan Dam, led an Israeli delegation comprising businesspeople and engineering experts across five African countries in 2011. The minister said Israel was ready to support dam-building and the diversion of Nile water. The visit led to the signing of Entebbe agreement between Ethiopia, Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda and Congo. Burundi pledged not to sign the agreement, but soon caved in.

Motivated by political and commercial self-interest, Israel’s interference was not surprising – nor was the subsequent involvement of several Israeli firms in the resulting mega-projects, including an agreement to distribute the energy produced by the new dams.

Hosni Mubarak made disastrous mistakes in dealing with the water issue, Ethiopia’s water projects and Israeli threats to Egypt’s security. The government also exaggerated the issue of Halayeb and Shalateen to wage war against Sudan and the regime of President Omar al-Bashir.

Following a failed assassination attempt on Mubarak in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa, the Egyptian government turned on the Sudanese regime, accusing it of being complicit in the incident. Mubarak opened an embassy for the head of the rebel movement, expressing his support for South Sudan.

Another mistake made by the former Egyptian regime was that it failed to strengthen its relations with Horn of Africa states, including Eritrea, Somalia and Djibouti. A number of these countries treat Ethiopia as an enemy due to Ethiopia’s historic occupation of their lands.

Aboud El-Zomor, a senior official from Egypt’s Building and Development Party, has claimed the Ethiopian move to build a dam is “a declaration of war.” He has urged President Morsi’s regime to respond firmly, knowing full well that the current economic conditions in Egypt could prevent such a response.

The Nile water dilemma has been one that previous rulers of Egypt have struggled to deal with. History tells us that Muhammad Ali Pasha established a military force to interfere immediately if Ethiopia or any other country threatened Egypt’s water interests.

Often nations – both civilized and uncivilized states – manage to unite when they face a crisis which affects the whole state; throughout history, government and opposition forces have come together and set their differences aside to confront a potential threat to national security. Unfortunately, this is not the case in Egypt today. Instead, we’re seeing a brutal political and media war that threatens to destroy Egypt’s national unity.

Egypt is an easy target. It is surrounded by potential threats on all sides. Sinai is a semi-failed state in the East. Libya is a failed state in the West. Civil wars have destroyed Sudan from the East, West and South. Israel conspires against all of them in the North, while the Egyptian state has internal problems too.

The sad truth is that Egypt’s strongest supporters in the past were Syria and Iraq. Now the Gulf States have turned against these countries and Egypt faces its problems alone.

I support Egypt and its people, and wish they would confront the conspiracies that target its national security. Egypt’s people face Israeli manipulations in Africa, the collapse of its state machinery and starvation. All of the above, plus the collusion of internal elements with foreign powers to destabilise Egypt are red lines that should unite all political forces in the country.

Egypt needs a strong and wise administration to confront the current crises. A government which gives priority to the national interests of the country. I have confidence in the Egyptian people, their leadership and their military institutions that are loyal to Egypt.

Once united, the Arab nation can never be defeated.
