💵 Australian $5 note is about to get a full redesign.

The Reserve Bank has decided to replace the portrait of Queen Elizabeth with a design that honours the culture and history of Indigenous Australians. King Charles will not feature. The bank will consult with First Nations communities to come up with a new design. It could take years before the final note is printed. In the meantime the current $5 banknote will continue to be issued.
