While it is expected that the wicked world will mock the God of heaven and earth, it is somewhat of a shock to realize that many still have no idea that all of this is a warning from God and a call to repentance.

Before sharing the powerful letter, our church father, Nibure-Id Ermias wrote to the former US president back in September, 2001, I would like to send a message to those arrogant western powers and their satanic Arab and Turkish collaborators who are still actively conspiring to destroy Christian Ethiopia, using all sorts of diabolical warfare:

The Almighty Egziabher will never forget that you have directly or indirectly murdered hundreds of millions of Christian Ethiopians in the past – according to your own sources (the World Peace Foundation), only between 1870 and 1980, 115 million Christians were starved to death in Ethiopia. In 110 years, 115 million innocent Ethiopians were murdered by starvation alone, every year a million Ethiopians. Think about it! I am certain, since 1980, over 500 million Ethiopians were murdered by the evil conspiracies of Western and Arab powers.

What do you think of how The Almighty Egziabher Lord would think about all these crimes? Haven’t you learned your lesson that Ethiopia is a biblical nation under God that survived great trials for 7,490 years of its existence and ordained to invoke divine judgment and imminent universal cataclysm?

Your Excellency:

First of all, I humbly and solemnly ask you to accept my condolences for that multitude of families who lost their loved ones in the recent terrorist brutalities. Then, I extend to you, the First Lady and your family, aswell as to your great people, Ethiopian New Year Greetings of the 1994 Era of Divine Mercy from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, in the Names of Our Lord Jesus Christ and His Holy Mother, The Virgin Mary.

We thank God for keeping you and your beloved ones safe after the horrendous act of “terrorism” that took place in both Washington DC and New York City. As every humane person in the world felt, my family and I were shocked by the terrifying news of the calamity that reached us from USA in the middle of our New Year’s Celebrations in Ethiopia. We were stunned by the fact that the two events, though far apart and unlike, both were ordained to coincide on your September 11, and on Ethiopian 1st day of the New Year, Meskerem 1, 1994. This date bears prophetic significance based on Biblical Covenants which verify the precise chronology of the Divine Cycle of Seven Years that remains before the end of the Millennium of the Biblical (Ethiopian) Calendar.

Hence, I am confident that the Lord will grant you and the American people the spiritual, physical and mental strength to cope with the agony and hardship you and your people are currently going through. You will also come out triumphant in your struggle for full restoration, renovation and revitalization, provided you abide by your Christian faith and deed that are rooted and instituted on the Biblical Covenants and preserved for millennia by Christians, as described in the enclosed book.

While contemplating on the horrifying news, my family and I came to ask ourselves: What are we to make of this colossal tragedy? What is the Divine Message that God conveys to humanity in general and to the people of the United States of America in particular through this appalling catastrophe of global dimension? Why do the eternal Priestly King Jesus Christ and the eternal Virgin Queen Mary, His Holy Mother, allow this monstrous affliction to happen at such universal crossroads of time and space?

Does it mean that we all, as individuals and as nations, are called upon to examine our inner selves profoundly and spiritually with the aim to find a cause for repentance to God, to ourselves and to each other? What amount of price have we to pay and for how long should we hesitate to realize that such fanaticism in the name of Islam is nothing but a scourge that came forth and is reserved to chastise Christians whenever and wherever they sin against their Biblical God of the Covenants?

Under the circumstances, in which the human nature of bigotry, recalcitrance and intransigence dominates, (and this is manifest in the multiple atrocities of the present generation,) the faithful of God have only one option. That option is to wait, in prayerful vigilance, for the time to arrive when individuals would, of their own free will, come to their senses and, with sincere mental resolve, make critical choices. The first choice would be for them to deny, in public witness, the Evil Spirit of Wickedness and Death, called the Devil, the notorious arch agent of destruction who seems to prevail and control their lives today as ever. The second and almost simultaneous or immediate choice would be to accept and be invigorated by the Holy Spirit of Goodness and Life of the Almighty God. As a result, the survival in this world of such repentant individuals singularly and of their nations collectively will definitely be replete with the sweet fruit of life, secured as a house built on a solid rock, and crowned with a lasting success. This is the genuine repentance -the obligation of a Christian -a commitment required of us, as individuals, as a family and as a nation: the simple terms and conditions for reconciling ourselves with the Living God. (Mt. 7, 24-27; 10, 32-33; Mk. 1, 14-15; Jn. 9, 39-41; Lk. 13; Rev. 17-19)

Now, once again, in the fulfillment of my Ethiopian duty, I am prompted and obliged by the ongoing tragedy to write you this letter. It reminded me of the timely warning constituted in the Divine Message that was initially contained in the booklet I sent in 1996 to your predecessor, Mr. Bill Clinton by a registered mail from my exile-residence in the metropolitan area of Washington D.C. and later published in USA in 1997 in my book entitled Ethiopia: The Classic Case which I enclosed you herein. General Colin Powell, the incumbent Secretary of State of your Government, was among those American officials and personalities pertinent to the case who received from me copies of that Divine Message at that time. Surprisingly enough and to the detriment of your country and people, none of them, including Mr. Clinton, bothered to answer me in any way, even acknowledging, through their private secretaries, receipt of my mail.

This impropriety was also an unfortunate misjudgment that came up in contrast to the reaction of several other world leaders who had received my mail and responded to me appropriately. I hope, this time, that attitude in the White House and elsewhere would change for the better, specially since the perception of Your Excellency and your party on such issues would undoubtedly be a positive, serious and Christian one.

Mr. President! I have enclosed, with humility and fidelity, a copy of the book aforementioned where you will find the list of names who had received my mail that carried the Divine Message worldwide and in the United States. Let this small and materially unworthy gift show my deep concern for your cause and my share of spiritual support in the challenges that face you now and in the days ahead. Beside your perusal of it, I earnestly suggest that you urge your officials and the American people, to read it for their own sake. It will help them acquirea more comprehensive understanding of the current situation and trend of events in the world, at least from the Ethiopian perspective.

Assuring you the continuance of our constant prayers for the consolation and recovery of your nation from the present predicament and asserting my highest esteem and best wishes for Your Presidency,

Think They Know Something Big’s Coming’: Hundreds Of Birds Fly Inland And Trees Fall As Ireland Braces For The Worst Storm In 56 Years With 80mph

Hurricane Ophelia bearing down amid warnings of ‘lives at risk’
Hurricane Ophelia is approaching Britain and will batter South West coast of Ireland from 11am today

• Winds of more than 80mph could hit Irish coast and then quickly spread to Isle of Man and West Wales

• Rest of the UK will face heavy rain and the Met Office has warned some parts could flood as a result

• Winds of more than 81mph would make storm UK’s strongest ex-hurricane since Hurricane Lili in 1996

• Met Office said the affected areas could face power cuts and there could be travel disruption today

Hundreds of birds were filmed fleeing coastal Ireland today just hours before Hurricane Ophelia will batter the coast with 80mph gales in what could be the worst storm to hit the island in 56 years.

Sarah Kavanagh, who lives in Cork, where the storm is expected to hit first, tweeted a video of the birds flying away at about 8am, saying: ‘Ummmm… think they know there’s something big coming? #Ophelia #mondays.’

The Met Office has warned of potential ‘danger to life’ as the storm approaches South West Ireland, with it likely to hit the coast at 11am today before making its way further east towards Wales and the Isle of Man.

Northern Ireland and Wales will be hit by gales of up to 70mph and the rest of Britain will see heavy rain, as troops were placed on standby in Ireland and many public services closed amid fears about the impact of winds.

Remnants of Ophelia, which was previously classified as a hurricane as it made its way across the Atlantic Ocean, will result in ‘exceptional’ weather – exactly 30 years after the Great Storm of 1987 killed 18 people.

Thousands of people were stranded by Ophelia this morning after cross-Channel ferry companies began canceling services because of dangerous sea conditions.

My last note: During a french stage presentation of Shakspear’s “Hamlet”, there is a scene where we see Ophelia drowned on stage by the very account of her death which is spoken by her double, who has emerged from the small theater. It is the story of her own death that she struggles against, trying in vain to swim against the current of this torrent of language, by saying the text backwards.

Typical state which the current Western world finds itself in.

Biblical Plagues Really Happened say Scientists

The Biblical plagues that devastated Ancient Egypt in the Old Testament were the result of global warming and a volcanic eruption, scientists have claimed.

Researchers believe they have found evidence of real natural disasters on which the ten plagues of Egypt, which led to Moses freeing the Israelites from slavery in the Book of Exodus in the Bible, were based.

But rather than explaining them as the wrathful act of a vengeful God, the scientists claim the plagues can be attributed to a chain of natural phenomena triggered by changes in the climate and environmental disasters that happened hundreds of miles away.

They have compiled compelling evidence that offers new explanations for the Biblical plagues, which will be outlined in a new series to be broadcast on the National Geographical Channel on Easter Sunday.

Archaeologists now widely believe the plagues occurred at an ancient city of Pi-Rameses on the Nile Delta, which was the capital of Egypt during the reign of Pharaoh Rameses the Second, who ruled between 1279BC and 1213BC.

The city appears to have been abandoned around 3,000 years ago and scientists claim the plagues could offer an explanation.

Climatologists studying the ancient climate at the time have discovered a dramatic shift in the climate in the area occurred towards the end of Rameses the Second’s reign.

By studying stalagmites in Egyptian caves they have been able to rebuild a record of the weather patterns using traces of radioactive elements contained within the rock.

They found that Rameses reign coincided with a warm, wet climate, but then the climate switched to a dry period.

Professor Augusto Magini, a paleoclimatologist at Heidelberg University’s institute for environmental physics, said: “Pharaoh Rameses II reigned during a very favourable climatic period.

“There was plenty of rain and his country flourished. However, this wet period only lasted a few decades. After Rameses’ reign, the climate curve goes sharply downwards.

“There is a dry period which would certainly have had serious consequences.”

The scientists believe this switch in the climate was the trigger for the first of the plagues.

The rising temperatures could have caused the river Nile to dry up, turning the fast flowing river that was Egypt’s lifeline into a slow moving and muddy watercourse.

These conditions would have been perfect for the arrival of the first plague, which in the Bible is described as the Nile turning to blood.

Dr Stephan Pflugmacher, a biologist at the Leibniz Institute for Water Ecology and Inland Fisheries in Berlin, believes this description could have been the result of a toxic fresh water algae.

He said the bacterium, known as Burgundy Blood algae or Oscillatoria rubescens, is known to have existed 3,000 years ago and still causes similar effects today.

He said: “It multiplies massively in slow-moving warm waters with high levels of nutrition. And as it dies, it stains the water red.”

The scientists also claim the arrival of this algae set in motion the events that led to the second, third and forth plagues – frogs, lice and flies.

Frogs development from tadpoles into fully formed adults is governed by hormones that can speed up their development in times of stress.

The arrival of the toxic algae would have triggered such a transformation and forced the frogs to leave the water where they lived.

But as the frogs died, it would have meant that mosquitoes, flies and other insects would have flourished without the predators to keep their numbers under control.

This, according to the scientists, could have led in turn to the fifth and sixth plagues – diseased livestock and boils

Professor Werner Kloas, a biologist at the Leibniz Institute, said: “We know insects often carry diseases like malaria, so the next step in the chain reaction is the outbreak of epidemics, causing the human population to fall ill.”

Another major natural disaster more than 400 miles away is now also thought to be responsible for triggering the seventh, eighth and ninth plagues that bring hail, locusts and darkness to Egypt.

One of the biggest volcanic eruptions in human history occurred when Thera, a volcano that was part of the Mediterranean islands of Santorini, just north of Crete, exploded around 3,500 year ago, spewing billions of tons of volcanic ash into the atmosphere.

Nadine von Blohm, from the Institute for Atmospheric Physics in Germany, has been conducting experiments on how hailstorms form and believes that the volcanic ash could have clashed with thunderstorms above Egypt to produce dramatic hail storms.

Dr Siro Trevisanato, a Canadian biologist who has written a book about the plagues, said the locusts could also be explained by the volcanic fall out from the ash.

He said: “The ash fall out caused weather anomalies, which translates into higher precipitations, higher humidity. And that’s exactly what fosters the presence of the locusts.”

The volcanic ash could also have blocked out the sunlight causing the stories of a plague of darkness.

Scientists have found pumice, stone made from cooled volcanic lava, during excavations of Egyptian ruins despite there not being any volcanoes in Egypt.

Analysis of the rock shows that it came from the Santorini volcano, providing physical evidence that the ash fallout from the eruption at Santorini reached Egyptian shores.

The cause of the final plague, the death of the first borns of Egypt, has been suggested as being caused by a fungus that may have poisoned the grain supplies, of which male first born would have had first pickings and so been first to fall victim.

But Dr Robert Miller, associate professor of the Old Testament, from the Catholic University of America, said: “I’m reluctant to come up with natural causes for all of the plagues.

The problem with the naturalistic explanations, is that they lose the whole point.

“And the whole point was that you didn’t come out of Egypt by natural causes, you came out by the hand of God.”
