UAE, Turkey, and Iran: Why Rival Powers Are Backing Ethiopia’s Government

💭 ኤሚራቶች፣ ቱርክ እና ኢራን፤ ለምን ተቀናቃኝ ሀይሎች የኢትዮጵያን መንግስት ይደግፋሉ?

ቆሻሻው ከሃዲ ግራኝ አብዮት አህመድ አሊ ኢትዮጵያን ለቆሻሾቹ እስማኤላውያን አሳልፎ እየሰጣትና አገር እያሳጣን ነው። ምን ዓይነት ወራዳ ትውልድ ቢሆን ነው ይህን መሰል እርጉም መሪ ለአንድም ቀን እንኳን ስልጣን ላይ እንዲቆይ የሚፈቅድለት? በእውነት ሕዝበ ክርስቲያኑ በክርስቶስ ስም ተጠምቋልን?

👉 ለጸሐፊው ለአቶ አብዱ ጥያቄ የሰጠሁት ትሁት እና እውነተኛ የሆነ መልስ የሚከተለው ነው፤

☆ 1ኛ. እስማኤላውያኑ ከኤዶማውያን ተምረዋል፣ “Thesis-Antithesis-Synthesis (ተሲስ ፣ ፀረ–ፀረስታ እና ውህደት/መደመር)” የሚለውን የሄግሊያን ዘዬ በመተገበር ላይ ናቸው። – እናም በጥንታውያኑ የትግራይ፣ ኢትዮጵያ ክርስቲያኖች ላይ የጂሃድ ስልታቸውን አሻሽለዋል። ስለዚህም በተደጋጋሚ የደረሰባቸውን ታሪካዊ ሽንፈታቸውን ለመበቀል በክርስቲያን ኢትዮጵያ ላይ ችግኛቸውን ግራኝን እና ኢሳያሳ አፈቀርቂን ተጠምቀው ዘምተዋል። ኢትዮጵያ የሰይጣንን ርዕዮተ ዓለም የሆነውን እስልምናን አልቀበልም በማለቷ ሁሌ ምሬት ላይ ናቸው። ከ1400 ዓመታት በፊት ወደ አክሱማዊቷ ኢትዮጵያ የመጣው እስልምና በወቅቱ የአክሱም ንጉሥ አርማህ ዘንድ ተቀባይነት ባለማግኘቱ እና ክርስቲያን ሆኖ በመቅረቱ የተናደዱ ይመስላሉ። በ614 ንጉሥ አርማህ (ሙስሊሞች) በሐሰት አል ነጃሺ ብለው ይጠሩታል) – ምናልባትም ወደግዛቱ የገቡት ሙስሊሞች በደቡብ አረቢያ/የመን በደል የደረሰባቸው ክርስቲያኖች መስለውት ሳይሆን አይቀርም ፥ ወደ አክሱማውያን ኢትዮጵያ እንዲገቡ የፈቀደላቸው ከመካ ቁረይሾች ከሸሹ በኋላ ነው ። መሀመዳውያኑ፤ “ንጉሥ አርማህ ሙስሊም ሆኗል” ብለው ሲናገሩ አይን ያወጣ ውሸት ነው።

በተቃራኒው፤ የእስልምና ነቢይ መሀመድ እና የአሊ የመጀመሪያ የአጎት ልጅ “ኡበይድ–አላህ ኢብኑ ጃህሽ” እስልምናን ትቶ ክርስትናን የተቀበለው ኢትዮጵያ በነበረበት ወቅት ነበር። ክርስትናን የተቀበለ የመጀመሪያው ሙስሊም። ይህ ደማቸውን ዛሬም በጣም ያፈላዋል!

በ፰/8ኛው መቶ ክፍለ ዘመን የነበረው የሙስሊም የታሪክ ምሁር እና ሃጂዮግራፈር ኢብኑ ኢስሃቅ በ615 ኡብይደላህ ከሙስሊም ሚስቱ፣ ሴት ልጁ እና ከሙስሊም ስደተኞች ቡድን ጋር በመሆን ከመካ ስደት ለማምለጥ ወደ ኢትዮጵያ ተሰደደ። ኢትዮጵያ እያለ ክርስትናን ተቀብሎ ለሙስሊም ጓዶቹ መስበክ ጀመረ። የመሀመድን የመጀመሪያ የህይወት ታሪክ የፃፈው ኢብኑ ኢሻቅ እንዲህ ሲል ጽፏል፤

“ኡበይዱላህ እስልምና እስኪመጣ ድረስ ፍለጋውን ቀጠለ። ከዚያም ከሙስሊሞች ጋር ወደ አቢሲኒያ ሄደ ሙስሊም የነበረችውን ሚስቱን ኡሙ ሀቢባ፣ መ. አቡ ሱፍያን. እዚያ እንደደረሰ ክርስትናን ተቀብሎ ከእስልምና ተለየ እና በ 627 እንደ አንድ ክርስቲያን በአቢሲኒያ አረፈ።

መሀመድ ለ. ጃፋር ለ. አል–ዙበይር የክርስትና እምነት ተከታይ በሆነ ጊዜ ኡበይዱላህ እዚያ የነበሩትን የነቢዩን (ሶ.ዐ.ወ) ባልደረቦች ሲያልፉ ‹በግልጽ እናያለን፣ግን ዓይኖቻችሁ በግማሽ የተከፈቱ ናቸው› ይላቸው እንደነበር ነገረኝ። ለማየት እየሞከረ እና እስካሁን ማየት አቃተው።› ሳሳእ የሚለውን ቃል ተጠቀመ ምክንያቱም ቡችላ ለማየት አይኑን ለመክፈት ሲሞክር የሚያየው ግማሹ ብቻ ነው። ሌላው ፋቃሃ ማለት ዓይንን መክፈት ማለት ነው። ሀዋርያው ከሞተ በኋላ ባሏ የሞተባትን ኡም ሀቢባን አገባ። (ኢብኑ ኢሻቅ፣ የመሐመድ ሕይወት፣ በአልፍሬድ ጊላሜ የተተረጎመ፣ 1967፣ ገጽ 99)

በኋላ ከአንድ በላይ ያገባው መሀመድ ባሏ የሞተባትን ራምላን አገባ። መሀመድ የኡበይደላህን እህት ዘይነብን ቀደም ብሎ አግብቷት ነበር።

👉 ለምን እና እንዴት ሙስሊሞች በክርስቲያን ኢትዮጵያ ላይ እስከ ዛሬ ድረስ መራራ እና የበቀል እርምጃ እንደሚወስዱ በዚህ መረዳት እንችላለን።

☆ 2ኛ. ሉሲፈራውያን ጦርነት ይፈልጋሉ ሕዝቅኤል 38/መዝሙር 83 ትንቢቶችን ይፈጸሙ ዘንድ ሁኔታዎችን ተፈጥሯዊው ባልሆነ መልክ እራሳቸው ይፈጥራሉ። ኤዶማውያን (መናፍቃን ፕሮቴስታንቶች) “መነጠቅ” በሚለው የምጽዓት አፈ-ታሪክ የሚያምኑ መናፍቃን የፍጻሜ ዘመን ራዕይ ኢትዮጵያን/ኩሽን በመግፋት ወደ “የአውሬው ጥምረት” ትንቢታቸው፤ ሩሲያ፣ ቻይና፣ አረቢያ፣ ቱርክ እና ኢራንን ጎራ ሆና ማየት ይፈልጋሉ። በሕዝቅኤል 38/መዝሙረ ዳዊት 83 ትንቢቶች፡ ሩሲያ፣ ኢራን እና የሙስሊም ሀገራት በእስራኤል ዘ-ነፍስ ላይ ማለትም በክርስትና – ኦርቶዶክስ ክርስትና ላይ ያምጻሉ።

☆ ሉሲፈራውያኑ የመዝሙር ፹፫/83 /ሕዝቅኤል ፴፰/38 ትንቢቶች ቶሎ ይሟሉ ዘንድ ሁኔታዎችን በጥድፊያ በመግፋት ላይ ናቸው፤ በተለይ በኢትዮጵያ።

ኤዶማውያኑ እና እስማኤላውያን ጦርነት ይሻሉ። ለዚህ ደግሞ የዋቄዮ-አላህ ልጆች ጥሩ እረዳቶች ሆነው አግኝተዋቸዋል። ጂኒዋን አቴቴ አበቤን ዛሬ በአዲስ አበባ አየናት፤ በአረብኛ የተጻፉ መፈክሮች ተውለበለቡ፣ የክርስቶስ ተቃዋሚ አገር መሪ ኤርዶጋንን ምስሎች ከሩሲያው እና ቻይናው መሪዎች ምስሎች ጎን በሃገረ ኢትዮጵያ ለማሳየት ደፈሩ፣ ልክ በእስማኤላውያን ዓለም በተደጋጋሚ እንደምናየው የአሜሪካ ባንዲራ እንዲቃጠል ተደረገ፤። ፍልስጤማውያኑ እና ደጋፊዎቻቸው የአሜሪካን ባንዲራ ያቃጥላሉ፣ የሙአመር ጋዳፊ፣ የሳዳም ሁሴን እና የኢራን አያቶላዎች ደጋፊዎች የአሜሪካን ባንዲራ ያቃጥላሉ። በኦሮሞው ደርግ አገዛዝ ዘመን የነበረው የፀረ-አሜሪካ ዘመቻ ዛሬ ከሰላሳ ዓመታት በኋል በኦሮሞው ግራኝ አብዮት አህመድ ዘመን ለመጀመሪያ ጊዜ ተደገመ። ዋው! በኢትዮጵያ ኢትዮጵያን (ትግራይን + ኤርትራን) አጥፍተው ኩሽን(እስላማዊት ኦሮሚያ)ከመሠረቱ በኋላ ኩሽ ከሩሲያ እና እስማኤላውያኑ ዓለም ጋር አጋር እና በአርማጌዶኑ ተሳታፊ ሆና የመዝሙር ፹፫/83 /ሕዝቅኤል ፴፰/38 ትንቢቶች ቶሎ ይሟላል ማለት ነው። ይህን የፕሮቴአፍጋኒስታንቱ መናፍቃን ዓለም እና የመሀመዳውያኑ አህዛብ ዓለም በጣምና እጅግ በጣም ይመኙታል።

ከጽላተ ሙሴ ጋር ትልቅ ጉዳይ ስላላቸው፤ በትግራይ እና ቤተ እስራኤል ደም ውስጥ ይገኛል የሚል እምነት ስላላቸው በትግራይ ላይ ከፍተኛ ትኩረት አላቸው። ቤተ እስራኤላውያንን ወደ እስራኤል መውሰድ የጀመሩትና ዛሬም የትግራይ ስደተኞች በሚገኙባቸው የሱዳን የስደተኛ ካምፖች ውስጥ ተጠናክረው ለመሥራት የሚሹትም ለዚህ ይመስላል። እስራኤልም እስራኤል ዘ-ስጋ መሆኗን እና በእስራኤል ዘ-ነፍስ (በኢትዮጵያ) ላይ በጣም ጥገኛ እንደሆነች እንገንዘብ።

💭 ዛሬ በአዲስ አበባ እና የዋቄዮ-አላህ ልጆች በሰፈሩባቸው የኦሮሚያ ከተሞች የሚታየው ይህ ነው።

ምስል ከሉሲፈር ፔንታግራም ኮከብ ጋር። ከዚህ የበለጠ ምን ማስረጃ ይኖራል? አዎ! ለትክክለኛዋ ኢትዮጵያ፤ እግዚአብሔር ለሚያውቃት ኢትዮጵያ የስልጣኔ እና ክርስትና እምነት መሠረት የሆነችውን ትግራይን እየጨፈጨፏት ያሉት እነዚህን የመዝሙር ፹፫/83 /ሕዝቅኤል ፴፰/38 ትንቢቶች በጥድፊያ የማሟላት ፍላጎት ስላላቸው ነው። ለዚህም ነው ለትግራይ ኢትዮጵያውያን ያልቆመ፣ ድምጹን ያላሰማ፣ ያላለቀሰና ጦርነቱ እንዲቆም ያልታገለ “አህዛብ” ነው የምለው።

👉 አዎ! በትግራይ ላይ፣ በአክሱም ጽዮን ተራሮች ላይ ያመጸ ሁሉ ከክርስቶስ ተቃዋሚ ጎን ሆኖ የክርስቶስን ልጆች የሚጠላ፣ የሚያሳድድና የሚዋጋ እራሱን ለገሃነም እሳት አሳልፎ የሚሰጥ ከንቱ አህዛብ ብቻ ነው። ስለዚህ የእግዚአብሔር ቃል እንዲህ ይለናልና ይወቁት፤

“በተራሮቼም ሁሉ በእርሱ ላይ ሰይፍን እጠራለሁ፥ የሰውም ሁሉ ሰይፍ በወንድሙ ላይ ይሆናል፥ ይላል ጌታ እግዚአብሔር። በቸነፈርና በደም እፈርድበታለሁ፤ ዶፍም የበረዶም ድንጋይ እሳትና ድኝም በእርሱና በጭፍሮቹ ከእርሱም ጋር ባሉ በብዙ ሕዝብ ላይ አዘንባለሁ። ታላቅ እሆናለሁ እቀደስማለሁ በብዙ አሕዛብም ዓይን የታወቅሁ እሆናለሁ፤ እኔም እግዚአብሔር እንደ ሆንሁ ያውቃሉ።”

፩ አቤቱ፥ እንደ አንተ ማን ነው? አቤቱ፥ ዝም አትበል፥ ቸልም አትበል።

፪ እነሆ፥ ጠላቶችህ ጮኽዋልና፥ የሚጠሉህም ራሳቸውን አንሥተዋልና።

፫ ሕዝብህን በምክር ሸነገሉአቸው፥ በቅዱሳንህም ላይ ተማከሩ።

፬ ኑ ከሕዝብ እናጥፋቸው፥ ደግሞም የእስራኤል ስም አይታሰብ አሉ።

፭ አንድ ሆነው በአንተ ላይ ተማከሩ፤ በአንተ ላይ ቃል ኪዳን አደረጉ፤

፮ የኤዶማውያን ድንኳኖች እስማኤላውያንም፥ ሞዓብም አጋራውያንም፥

፯ ጌባል አሞንም አማሌቅም፥ ፍልስጥኤማውያንም ከጢሮስ ሰዎች ጋር፤

፰ አሦርም ከእነርሱ ጋር ተባበረ፥ ለሎጥ ልጆችም ረዳት ሆኑአቸው።

፱ እንደ ምድያምና እንደ ሲሣራ፥ በቂሶንም ወንዝ እንደ ኢያቢስ አድርግባቸው።

፲ በዓይንዶር ጠፉ፥ እንደ ምድርም ጕድፍ ሆኑ።

፲፩ አለቆቻቸውን እንደ ሔሬብና እንደ ዜብ፥ ታላላቆቻቸውንም እንደ ዛብሄልና እንደ ስልማና አድርጋቸው።

፲፪ የእግዚአብሔርን መሠዊያ እንወርሳለን የሚሉትን።

፲፫ አምላኬ ሆይ፥ እንደ ትቢያ በነፋስ ፊትም እንደ ገለባ አድርጋቸው።

፲፬ እሳት ዱርን እንደሚያቃጥል፥ ነበልባልም ተራሮች እንደሚያነድድ፥

፲፭ እንዲሁ በቍጣህ አሳድዳቸው፥ በመቅሠፍትህም አስደንግጣቸው።

፲፮ ፊታቸውን እፍረት ሙላው፥ አቤቱ፥ ስምህንም ይፈልጋሉ።

፲፯ ይፈሩ ለዘላለሙም ይታወኩ፤ ይጐስቍሉ ይጥፉም።

፭ ፋርስንና ኢትዮጵያን ፉጥንም ከእነርሱ ጋር ጋሻና የራስ ቍርን የለበሱትን ሁሉ፥

፮ ጋሜርንና ጭፍሮቹን ሁሉ፥ በሰሜን ዳርቻም ያለውን የቴርጋማን ቤትና ጭፍሮቹን ሁሉ፥ ብዙዎችንም ሕዝቦች ከአንተ ጋር አወጣለሁ።

Competing regional powers have quietly backed Abiy Ahmed in Ethiopia’s deadly conflict

The war that started in November 2020 as a conflict between the Ethiopian Federal Government and the Tigray Regional Government has turned the country into an arena where many regional and international powers are active.

Like a Pandora’s box suddenly opened, the conflict has borne many geopolitical surprises, but one of its most important ironies is the reported use of drones and weapons supplied by competing powers in the Middle East, who seem to have agreed on their support for Ethiopia’s government.

U A E, the first player

The United Arab Emirates (U A E) has intervened in the Ethiopian war since it began, with leaders from the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) accusing Abu Dhabi of targeting Tigray an forces in November 2020 with drones stationed at its Assab military base in Eritrea.

In the wake of the Ethiopian withdrawal in the face of the advancing Tigray an forces in the summer of 2021, an Emirati air bridge supporting the government was monitored. This comprised more than 90 flights between the two countries in the period between September and November 2021.

Satellite images identified Emirati drones at Harar Meda Airport in Ethiopia and at a military base in Deirdawa in the east of the country.

The U A E’s intervention was an extension of its strategy to build an allied political and security system across the Red Sea and the Horn of Africa, most notably following Who Tea gains around Bab al-Mandab at the beginning of Yemen’s conflict.

Abiy Ahmed’s election as Ethiopia’s prime minister in 2018 further accelerated an alliance between Addis Ababa and Abu Dhabi.

That same year, the U A E-sponsored Eritrean-Ethiopia peace agreement pledged to support the Ethiopian treasury with three billion dollars, and made huge investments in various sectors.

From this perspective, the possibility of the Tigray ans seizing power in Addis Ababa was a threat to these political arrangements, and Emirati investments, especially since the TPLF view Abu Dhabi with hostility after its role in their first defeat in November 2020.

The visit of the Ethiopian prime minister to Ankara in August 2021 represented a turning point in the relationship between the two countries, which had become estranged in parallel with the development of Ethiopian ties with the U A E-Saudi axis.

During the visit, a package of agreements was signed that included “military cooperation”. Indeed, according to the Turkish Defence Industries Corporation, the value of Turkish military exports to Ethiopia increased from just $234,000 in 2020 to nearly $95 million in 2021.

Although in July 2021 the Turkish embassy in Addis Ababa denied that it had supplied drones to Addis Ababa, reports alleged the participation of Bayraktar TB2 drones in military operations in Ethiopia’s conflict after Ahmed’s visit to Ankara, which were not denied by either side this time.

This development is an extension of the Turkish approach in the region described by Jason Moseley, a Research Associate at the African Studies Centre at Oxford University. “Turkey has adopted an interventionist attitude in the regional crisis, with the consequent rebalancing between soft and hard power in favor of the latter,” he wrote last year.

In fact, Turkey saw drone support for the Ethiopian government as a strategic gain, bolstering its reputation in the African military and security market after it had proven its success in an African war arena, with growing demand for this type of weapon.

Ankara’s participation also indicates that Turkish construction companies could make a significant contribution to the reconstruction of infrastructure in the areas destroyed by the war

Preventing Ethiopia from sliding into a civil war protects Ankara’s large investments inside the country and ensures that the ensuing chaos does not spread into neighbouring Somalia, the most important centre of Turkish influence in the African continent.

Additionally, Turkish support for the Ethiopian government appears to be a strategic necessity due to Ankara’s fears of the Tigray ans, who Ethiopia has accused of being supported by Egypt.

In this sense, Ankara’s ties with Ethiopia are related to the exchange of support between the two countries, which is taking place in the context of their conflict with Egypt.

Iran seeks an opportunity

In a letter to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, on 7 December 2021, TPLF leader Debretsion Gebremichael accused Iran, along with the UAE and Turkey, of providing the Ethiopian army with weapons, including drones.

Prior to that, the US government had accused Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Quds Force (IRGC-QF) of providing drones to Ethiopia, and on 29 October 2021, sanctions were issued by the US Treasury Department.

According to investigative websites, Iranian drones have been seen in Ethiopia and 15 flights from two airlines linked to the IRGC have been monitored from Iran to the Harar Meda military base in Ethiopia.

Both the Iranian and Ethiopian governments have not yet commented on these reports.

The sharp dispute between Ethiopia and the United States over the war in Tigray, and Washington’s continuous pressure on Ahmed’s government, who has framed the conflict as a colonial attack on Ethiopia’s unity, has apparently brought Tehran and Addis Ababa closer.

Iran sees the Ethiopian PM’s need for military equipment as an opportunity to expand its strategic presence in a country that is historically an ally of the United States and Israel.

This level of Iranian engagement demonstrates the importance of the Ethiopian arena for Tehran, and indicates Iran’s desire to enter the burgeoning military and security market in Africa.

However, the most important prize for Tehran is a return to Ethiopia, which is situated close to Yemen, the Arabian Peninsula, and the Horn of Africa, after losing its influence in recent years with allies Eritrea and Sudan following Emirati-Saudi pressure, and the fall of Omar al-Bashir’s regime in Khartoum after popular protests.

Ultimately, all three powers are trying to exploit a moment of Ethiopian weakness to create or consolidate their influence.

The weight and extent of their involvement are best indicated, perhaps, by consultations the US envoy to the Horn of Africa, which has historical influence in Ethiopia, has been having with Middle Eastern capitals to try to find a solution to the Ethiopian crisis.

፯ እግዚአብሔር አያይም፥ የያዕቆብ አምላክ አያስተውልም አሉ።

አዎ! እግዚአብሔር አምላክ ነግሮናል እኮ፤ ይህ የእግዚአብሔር ቃል እኮ ዛሬ በአገራችን እንደ ሣር በቅለውና ብቅብቅ እያሉ በትዕቢት፣ በዕብሪትና በስንፍናቸው ለሚጮኹት፣ ባልቴቲቱንና ድሃውን ሳይቀር የዘ–ብሔር አክሱም ልጆችን ለሚያሳድዱት፣ ለሚደፍሩት፣ ለሚያፈናቅሉትና ለሚጨፈጭፉት የዋቄዮ–አላህ ጭፍሮች “ኦሮሞ ነን” “አማራ ነን” ለሚሉት ነው።

እስኪ እንታዘበው፤ የግራኝ ኦሮሞዎች ከእስማኤላውያን እና ኤዶማውያን ጋር አብረው አማራውን ጨፈጨፉ፥ አማራው ከግራኝ ኦሮሞዎች ፣ እስማኤላውያኑ እና ኤዶማውያኑ ጋር አብሮ ተዋሕዶ ትግራዋይን እየጨፈጨፏቸው ነው።

አቶ እስክንድር ነጋን የፋሺስቱ ኦሮሞ አገዛዝ ለሁለት ዓመታት ያህል አገተው፤ አስደበደበው ፥ በተፈታ በማግስቱ ከአንገላታውና ካዋረደው ግራኝ ጎን ተሰልፎ በትግራይ ላይ ካልዘመትን አለ። የተገለባበጠባት ዓለም! ከተፈታበት ቅድመ ሁኔታ መካከል ልክ እንደተለቀቀ ከግራኝ ጋር መስለፉን የሚያሳይ መግለጫ ወዲያው እንዲሰጥ መስማማቱ ይመስላል። በዚህም ተግባር አማራውን ችኩልና የተጋሩ ጠላት የኦሮሞ አሻንጉሊት መሆኑን አጨልሞ ለማሳየት ፥ የዋቄዮ-አላህ አርበኞቹን እነ ጀዋርን ግን አስተዋዮች፣ እጃቸውን ካፈሰሱት ደም ሁሉ ያጸዱና በጽዮናውያን ዘንድ የማይጠሉ የብርሃን ጮራዎች እንደሆኑ አድርገው ማሳየት ነው። ኦሮሞዎቹ ያቀዱትን ዲያብሎሳዊ ዓላማቸውን ሁሉ ከጠበቁት በላይ በድነብ አሳክተዋል። ለጊዜውም ቢሆን! አዎ!

በ፬/4ኛ መቶ ክ/ዘመን በ አብርሃ ወአፅብሃ ነገስት ታነፀ በኢትዮጵያ ለመጀመርያ ግዜ ከታነፁት ውቅር አብያተ ክርስትያን አንዱ ነው። ልክ ዛሬ ግራኝ አህመድ አሊ በዚህ ታሪካዊ ቤተ ክርስቲያን ላይ እንደደገመው፤ ደብረ ሰላም ቅዱስ ቂርቆስ ዉቕሮ አረመኔዋ ዮዲት ጉዲት ካቃጠለቻቸው አብያተ ክርስቲያን አንዱ ነው። ዮዲት ጉዲት ቤተክርስቲያኑን ለማውደም ያላደረገችው ጥርት አልነበረም፤ እጂግ በጣም ብዛት ያለውእንጨት በመከመር በእሳት ለማውደም ሞክራ አልሳካ ሲላት ምሶሶዎቹ ለማፍረስ ትልልቅ በረቶች በመጠቀም ለማፍረስ እንደሞከረችና በረቱ እየተሰበረ እንዳስቸገራቸው ታሪኩ ይነግረናል። የበረቶቹ ስባሪም እስከአሁን ድረስ ቅኔ ማህሌት ላይ የሚገኘው ምሶሶ ላይ ተሰክቶ ይገኛል። ይህ በእውነት ለትውልድ ትልቅ ምስክር ነው። በዚህ አልበቃም ንዋየ ቅዱሳቱም አጠገቡ ከሚገኘው ባህር አስገባችው፤ ባህሩም ከዛ ግዜ ጀምሮ ዛሬ ድረስ “ጉድ ባህሪ” እየተባለ ይጠራል። በዚህ ሁሉ ኩፉ ስራዋ እግዚአብሔር ተቆጣ መሞቸዋም መቅበርያውም እዛው አከባቢ ሆነ። ከዉቅሮ ወጣ ብሎ በሚገኘው በ “ዓዲ አካውሕ፡ የተባለ ቦታ ሞተች፤ እዛውም ተቀበረች። የተቀበረችበት ቦታም ላይ ክረምትም ሆነ በጋ ዝናብ አይዘንብም፤ የተለያዬ ታምራትም ይታይበል። ይህንን ምክንያት በማድረግ የመቀሌ ዩንቨርስቲ እዛው ድንኳን ተክሎ አከባቢው አጥሮ ምርምር እያደረገበት ነበር። እዚህ የተለያዩ ከ አክሱም ስልጣኔ በፊት የነበሩ ቅርሶችም ተገኝተዋል። ይህ ቤተክርስትያን ሓምሌ ፲፱/19 እና ጥር፲፭/ 15 በደማቅ ሁኔታ ይነግሳል።

የበረከቱ ተካፋይ ያድርገን!

፲፪ ጻድቅ እንደ ዘንባባ ያፈራል፥ እንደ ሊባኖስ ዝግባም ያድጋል።

፲፫ በእግዚአብሔር ቤት ውስጥ ተተክለዋል፥ በአምላካችንም አደባባይ ውስጥ ይበቅላሉ።

፲፬ ያን ጊዜ በለመለመ ሽምግልና ያፈራሉ ደስተኞችም ሆነው ይኖራሉ።

፲፭ አምላኬ እግዚአብሔር እውነተኛ እንደ ሆነ ይነግራሉ፥ በእርሱም ዘንድ ዓመፃ የለም።

💭 Five Things to Know About The Antichrist

In the history of the West over the last 2000 years, there has never been a time when someone hasn’t been predicting the end of the world.

And now, with a seemingly insoluble climate crisis, pandemic surges, savage wildfires and hurricanes, and a renewed nuclear arms race, seems no time to stop.

Many of us feel, as poet John Donne put it in The Anatomy of the World in 1611, “Tis all in pieces, all coherence gone”.

The Christian tradition tells us to be on the lookout for the Antichrist, who will appear shortly before the big finish. Vast amounts of Christian ink have been used to try and work out when he will come and just how we might identify him when he does.

Here, then, are five things to know just in case:

1. He is the Son of Satan

The Antichrist was the perfectly evil human being because he was completely opposite to the perfectly good human being, Jesus Christ.

Just as Christians came to believe that Jesus Christ was the Son of God, so they thought that the Antichrist was the Son of Satan. Jesus was born of a virgin. So the Antichrist would be born of a woman who was apparently a virgin, but was really a whore. Where Christ was God in the flesh, the Antichrist was Satan in the flesh.

In The Christian New Testament there are only three passages that mention the Antichrist, all in the letters of John (I John 2.18-27, I John 4.1-6, 2 John 7). They suggest the end of the world should be expected at any moment.

Over the first several centuries of the Christian tradition, the scholars of the early Church started to pore over an array of other Biblical characters, finding references to the Antichrist within them: the “abomination of desolation” in the books of Daniel and Matthew; “the man of lawlessness” and “the son of perdition” in a letter of Paul.

The book of Revelation describes a singular figure as “the beast from the earth” and “the beast from the sea” whose number is 666.

2. He is an earthly tyrant and trickster

By the year 1000, the main outlines of the first of two narratives about the Antichrist was in place thanks to a noble-born Benedictine monk and abbot named Adso of Montier-en-Der (c. 920-92) who wrote a treatise on the subject.

According to him, the Antichrist would be a Jew from the tribe of Dan and born in Babylon. He would be brought up in all forms of wickedness by magicians and wizards. He would be accepted as the Messiah and ruler by the Jews in Jerusalem. Those Christians whom he could not convert to his cause, he would torture and kill.

He would then rule for seven years before being defeated by the angel Gabriel or Christ and the divine armies, prior to the resurrection of the dead and the Final Judgment.

👉 ቱርኮች ይጠፋሉ ። እነሱ ያለ እግዚአብሔር በረከት የተገነባ ህዝብ ስለሆኑ ይደመሰሳሉ።

CNN Investigation of Massacre at Maryam Dengelat Church in Ethiopia’s Tigray Region

On November 30, they were joined by scores of religious pilgrims for the Orthodox festival of Zion Maryam, an annual feast to mark the day Ethiopians believe the Ark of the Covenant was brought to the country from Jerusalem. The holy day was a welcome respite from weeks of violence, but it would not last.

A group of Eritrean soldiers opened fire on Maryam Dengelat church while hundreds of congregants were celebrating mass, eyewitnesses say. People tried to flee on foot, scrambling up cliff paths to neighboring villages. The troops followed, spraying the mountainside with bullets.

A CNN investigation drawing on interviews with 12 eyewitnesses, more than 20 relatives of the survivors and photographic evidence sheds light on what happened next.

The soldiers went door to door, dragging people from their homes. Mothers were forced to tie up their sons. A pregnant woman was shot, her husband killed. Some of the survivors hid under the bodies of the dead.

The mayhem continued for three days, with soldiers slaughtering local residents, displaced people and pilgrims. Finally, on December 2, the soldiers allowed informal burials to take place, but threatened to kill anyone they saw mourning. Abraham volunteered.

Under their watchful eyes, he held back tears as he sorted through the bodies of children and teenagers, collecting identity cards from pockets and making meticulous notes about their clothing or hairstyle. Some were completely unrecognizable, having been shot in the face, Abraham said.

Then he covered their bodies with earth and thorny tree branches, praying that they wouldn’t be washed away, or carried off by prowling hyenas and circling vultures. Finally he placed their shoes on top of the burial mounds, so he could return with their parents to identify them.

One was Yohannes Yosef, who was just 15.

“Their hands were tied … young children … we saw them everywhere. There was an elderly man who had been killed on the road, an 80-something-year-old man. And the young kids they killed on the street in the open. I’ve never seen a massacre like this and I don’t want to [again],” Abraham said.

“We only survived by the grace of God.”

Abraham said he buried more than 50 people that day, but estimates more than 100 died in the assault.

They’re among thousands of civilians believed to have been killed since November, when Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, who was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2019 for resolving a long-running conflict with neighboring Eritrea, launched a major military operation against the political party that governs the Tigrayregion. He accused the TigrayPeople’s Liberation Front (TPLF), which ruled Ethiopia for nearly three decades before Abiy took office in 2018, of attacking a government military base and trying to steal weapons. The TPLF denies the claim.

The conflict is the culmination of escalating tensions between the two sides, and the most dire of several recent ethno-nationalist clashes in Africa’s second-most populous country.

After seizing control of Tigray’s main cities in late November, Abiy declared victory and maintained that no civilians were harmed in the offensive. Abiy has also denied that soldiers from Eritrea crossed into Tigrayto support Ethiopian forces.

But the fighting has raged on in rural and mountainous areas where the TPLF and its armed supporters are reportedly hiding out, resisting Abiy’s drive to consolidate power. The violence has spilled over into local communities, catching civilians in the crossfire and triggering what the United Nations refugee agency has called the worst flight of refugees from the region in two decades.

The UN special adviser on genocide prevention said in early February that the organization had received multiple reports of “extrajudicial killings, sexual violence, looting, mass executions and impeded humanitarian access.”

Many of those abuses have been blamed on Eritrean soldiers, whose presence on the ground suggests that Abiy’s much-lauded peace deal with Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki set the stage for the two sides to wage war against the TPLF — their mutual enemy.

The US State Department, in a statement to CNN, called for Eritrean forces to be “withdrawn from Tigrayimmediately,” citing credible reports of their involvement in “deeply troubling conduct.” In response to CNN’s findings, the spokesperson said “reports of a massacre at Maryam Dengelat are gravely concerning and demand an independent investigation.”

Ethiopia responded to CNN’s request for comment with a statement that did not directly address the attack in Dengelat. The government said it would “continue bringing all perpetrators to justice following thorough investigations into alleged crimes in the region,” but gave no details about those investigations.

CNN has reached out for comment to Eritrea, which has yet to respond. On Friday, the government vehemently denied its soldiers had committed atrocities during another massacre in Tigrayreported by Amnesty International.

The TPLF said in a statement to CNN that its forces were nowhere near Dengelat at the time of the massacre. It rejected that the victims could have been mistaken for being TPLF and called for a UN investigation to hold all sides accountable for atrocities committed during the conflict.

Still, the situation inside the country remains opaque. Ethiopia’s government has severely restricted access to journalists and prevented most aid from reaching areas beyond the government’s control, making it challenging to verify accounts from survivors. And an intermittent communications blackout during the fighting has effectively blocked the war from the world’s eyes.

Now that curtain is being pulled back, as witnesses fleeing parts of Tigrayreach internet access and phone lines are restored. They detail a disastrous conflict that has given rise to ethnic violence, including attacks on churches and mosques.

For months, rumors spread of a grisly assault on an Orthodox church in Dengelat. A list of the dead began circulating on social media in early December, shared among the Tigrayan diaspora. Then photos of the deceased, including young children, started cropping up online.

Through a network of activists and relatives, CNN tracked down eyewitnesses to the attack. In countless phone calls — many disconnected and dropped — Abraham and others provided the most detailed account of the deadly massacre to date.

Eyewitnesses said that the festival started much as it had any other year. Footage of the celebrations from 2019 shows priests dressed in white ceremonial robes and crowns, carrying crosses aloft, leading hundreds of people in prayer at Maryam Dengelat church. The faithful sang, danced and ululated in unison.

As prayers concluded in the early hours of November 30, Abraham looked out from the hilltop where the church is perched to see troops arriving by foot, followed by more soldiers in trucks. At first, they were peaceful, he said. They were invited to eat, and rested under the shade of a tree grove.

But, as congregants were celebrating mass around midday, shelling and gunfire erupted, sending people fleeing up mountain paths and into nearby homes.

Desta, who helped with preparations for the festival, said he was at the church when troops arrived at the village entrance, blocking off the road and firing shots. He heard people screaming and fled, running up Ziqallay mountainside. From the rocky plateau he surveyed the chaos playing out below.

We could see people running here and there … [the soldiers] were killing everyone who was coming from the church,” Desta said.

Eight eyewitnesses said they could tell the troops were Eritrean, based on their uniforms and dialect. Some speculated that soldiers were meting out revenge by targeting young men, assuming they were members of the TPLF forces or allied local militias. But Abraham and others maintained there were no militia in Dengelat or the church.

Marta, who was visiting Dengelat for the holiday, says she left the church with her husband Biniam after morning prayers. As the newlyweds walked back to their relative’s home, a stream of people began sprinting up the hill, shouting that soldiers were rounding people up in the village.

She recalled the horrifying moment soldiers arrived at their house, shooting into the compound and calling out: “Come out, come out you b*tches.” Marta said they went outside holding their identity cards aloft, saying “we’re civilians.” But the troops opened fire anyway, hitting Biniam, his sister and several others.

“I was holding Bini, he wasn’t dead … I thought he was going to survive, but he died [in my arms].

The couple had just been married in October. Marta found out after the massacre that she was pregnant.

After the soldiers left, Marta, who said she was shot in the hand, helped drag the seven bodies inside, so that the hyenas wouldn’t eat them. “We slept near the bodies … and we couldn’t bury them because they [the soldiers] were still there,” she said.

Marta and other eyewitnesses described soldiers going house to house through Dengelat, dragging people outside, binding their hands or asking others to do so, and then shooting them.

Rahwa, who was part of the Sunday school group from Edaga Hamus and left Dengelat earlier than others, managing to escape being killed, said mothers were forced to tie up their sons.

“They were ordering their mothers to tie their sons’ hands. They were taking them barefoot and killing them in front of their mothers,” Rahwa said eyewitnesses told her.

Samuel, another eyewitness, said that he had eaten and drank with the soldiers before they came to his house, which is just behind the church, and killed his relatives. He said he survived by hiding underneath one of their bodies for hours.

“They started pushing the people out of their houses and they were killing all children, women and old men. After they killed them outside their houses, they were looting and taking all the property,” Samuel said.

As the violence raged, hundreds of people remained in the church hall. In a lull in the gunfire, priests advised those who could to go home, ushering them outside. Several of the priests were killed as they left the church, Abraham said.

With nowhere to run to, Abraham sheltered inside Maryam Dengelat, lying on the floor as artillery pounded the tin roof. “We lost hope and we decided to stay and die at the church. We didn’t try to run,” he said.

Two days later, the troops called parishioners down from the church to deal with the dead. Abraham said he and five other men spent the day burying bodies, including those from Marta’s household and the Sunday school children. But the troops forbid them from burying bodies at the church, in line with Orthodox tradition, and forced them to make mass graves instead — a practice that has been described elsewhere in Tigray.

Tedros Abraham shared photos and videos of the grave sites, which CNN geolocated to Dengelat with the help of satellite image analysis from several experts. The analysis was unable to conclusively identify individual graves, which witnesses said were shallow, but one expert said there were signs that parts of the landscape had changed.

The initial bloodshed was followed by a period of two tense weeks, Abraham said. Soldiers stayed in the area in several encampments, stealing cars, burning crops and killing livestock before eventually moving on.

Tedros, who was born in Dengelat and traveled there after the soldiers had left, said that the village smelled of death and that vultures were circling over the mountains, a sign that there may be more bodies left uncounted there.

“Some of them were also killed in the far fields while they were trying to escape and most of them were eaten by vultures before they got buried, it was horrible. [The soldiers] tied them and killed them in front of their doors, and they shot them in the head just to save bullets,” he said.

Tedros visited the burial grounds described by eyewitnesses and said he saw cracks in the church walls where artillery hit. In interviews with villagers and family members, he compiled a death toll of more than 70 people.

The families hope that the names of their loved ones, which Tedros, Abraham and others risked their lives to record, will eventually be read out at a traditional funeral ceremony at the Maryam Dengelat church — rare closure in an ongoing conflict.

Three months after the massacre, the graves in Dengelat are a daily reminder of the bloodshed for the survivors who remain in the village. But it has not yet been safe enough to rebury the bodies of those who died, and that reality is weighing on them.

ለተፈጥሮትከ፡- ዑራኤል ሆይ፡- ያለ መናገር በጥንት አርምሞ ከነፋስና ከእሳት ለተፈጠረ ተፈጥሮህ ሰላም እላለሁ። ዑራኤል ሆይ የተፈጥሮና የይቅርታና የቸርነት ክቡር መልአክ ነህና ስለኛ ስለሰው ልጆች ወደ ልዑል እግዚአብሔር ማልድ አማላጅነትህ ዘወትር ከጥፋት ያድናልና።

ለዝክረ ስምከ፡-ዑራኤል ሆይ፡- ከማርና ከወተት ይልቅ ለሚጥመው ስም አጠራርህ ሰላም እላለሁ።

ዑራኤል ሆይ፡- ክፍልህ /ክንፍህ/ በደመ ወልድ እግዚአብሔር የተከበረ /የታለለ/ ነውና። ለዓለሙ ሁሉ መድሃኒት ትሆን ዘንድ ግሩም የሚሆን የእግዚአብሔር ሥልጣን በክብር ከፍ ከፍ አደረገ። (መልክአ ዑራኤል)

“የእግዚአብሔር መልአክ በሚፈሩት ሰዎች ዙሪያ ይሰፍራል፥ ያድናቸውማል።” [መዝ.፴፫/፴፬/፥፯] የሊቀ መልአኩ የክዱስ ዑራኤል ረድኤቱ በረከቱ ፍጹም አማላጅነቱ ከሁላችን ጋር ይሁን።

ካለመኖር ወደ መኖር ያመጣኝ፣ ካለማወቅ ወደ መረዳት ያደረሰኝ አነሳስቶ ላስጀመረኝ አስጀምሮ ላስፈጸመኝ ጥንት ላሌለው ቀዳማዊ ፍጻሜ ላሌለው ድህራዊ ያልኖረበት ጊዜ የሌለ የማይኖርበት ጊዜም የማይኖር የዘላለም ንጉስ ሁሉን ቻይ ፈጣሪ እግዚአብሔርን በራስ ፀጉሬ ቁትር በአጥንቶቼም ልክ አመሰግናለሁ።

በሰማይ ያሉ መላእክት በምድርም የሚኖሩ የአዳም ዘር ሁሉ የሚያመሰግኗት በአማላጅነቷ ሁል ጊዜ የማትለየኝ ከፀሐይ ሰባት እጅ የምታበራ የብርሃን እናት የሁሉ እመቤት የአምላክ እናት ከተመረጡ የተመረጠች ከተለዩ የተለየች ከተከበሩ የተከበረች እናቴ እመቤቴ ድንግል ማርያም በቃላት ልገልጸው ከምችለው በላይ አመሰግናለሁ። ሌሊትና ቀን ቅዱስ ቅዱስ ቅዱስ እያሉ የሰራዊት ጌታ እግዚአብሔርን የሚያመሰግኑና ሳይሰለቹ የሚጠብቁን ሊቀነ መላእክት ቅዱስ ሚካኤል ቅዱስ ገብርኤል ቅዱስ ሩፋኤል ቅዱስ ዑራኤል ቅዱስ ራጉኤል ቅዱስ ፋኑኤል እልፍ አእላፋት የሆኑ ጠባቂ መላእክት ሳመሰግን በደስታ ነው።

በጸሎታቸው ያልተለዩኝን ጻድቃን አባቶቼን አቡነ ተክለሃይማኖትን አቡነ ገብረምንፈስ ቅዱስን አቡነ ሀብተማርያምን አቡነ አረጋዊን አቡነ ኪሮስንና ሌሎች ቅዱሳን አባቶቼን እንዲሁም እናቶቼን ቅድስት ክርስቶስ ሰምራን ቅድስት አርሴማን ብዙ ያልጠቀስኳቸው ቅዱሳንን ለማመስገን ቃላት የለኝም።

በሰማኝትነታቸው የጥንካሬ ምሳሌ የሆኑልኝ በጸሎታቸው የረዱኝን ቅዱሳን ሰማዕታት ቅዱስ ጊዮርጊስን ቅዱስ እስጢፋኖን መጥመቀ መለኮት ቅዱስ ዮሐንስንና ሌሎችን ቅዱሳን ሰማዕታትን ሁሉ በእጅጉ አመሰግናለሁ ለዘላለሙ አሜን።

የተከዱትንና የተገፉትን የአክሱም ጽዮን ልጆችን፤ በፈተና፣ በመከራ፣ በድካምና በስቃይ ላይ ያሉትን ወገኖቻችንን ሁሉ ያለ ደዌና ያለ ከፋ ሕማም ለክርስቶስ ልደት ዕለት ያድርሰልን ፤ ቀናተኞችና አረመኔዎች የሆኑትን እርጉም ጠላቶቻቸውን/ጠላቶቻችንን ሁሉ በቶሎ ያንበርክክልን!!! አሜን።
