Kim Dotcom has a spotted history, but he also has a reputation for being on top of news stories that involve information and technology. In this case, his information is that Liz Truss, when she was foreign secretary, and Antony Blinken, currently the U.S. Secretary of State, were complicit in the sabotaging of the Nord Stream pipelines that brought natural gas from Russia to Europe. Currently, there’s evidence that both supports this claim and refutes it.

The Nord Stream ruptures occurred on September 26, 2022, and were quickly classified as sabotage. To date, no one has been definitively labeled as culpable. However, there’s no doubt that Blinken, when the news went public was pleased: “ t’s a tremendous opportunity to once and for all remove the dependence on Russian energy and thus to take away from Vladimir Putin the weaponization of energy as a means of advancing his imperial designs….”

Given America’s glee about the explosions, and the fact that the pipelines’ destruction made it impossible for Russia to bribe Europeans to abandon Ukraine by offering them desperately needed fuel for winter, a lot of people suspected American involvement. This was true despite the State Department turning to the Democrats’ favorite phrase—“Russian disinformation”—to deny the allegation.

Meanwhile, England’s Liz Truss acknowledged that what happened was sabotage. However, she blamed Russia for destroying its own pipeline. This always seemed like a strange position to take, given that Russia only had to press the “off” button to stop the flow of gas—something Putin had already done before the pipelines were damaged.

Then, something interesting happened today, although its import wasn’t immediately clear. The Daily Mail reported that Kremlin agents hacked Truss’s personal phone, an act discovered “during the summer’s Tory leadership campaign”:

“The cyber-spies are believed to have gained access to top-secret exchanges with key international partners as well as private conversations with her leading political ally, Kwasi Kwarteng.”

One source said that the phone was so heavily compromised that it has now been placed in a locked safe inside a secure Government location.

The story may be coming out now because of something that Kim Dotcom just tweeted out—there’s a compromising text message that correlates almost perfectly with the Nord Stream explosions:

It’s not just the Five Eyes that have backdoor admin access to all Big Tech databases. Russia and China have sophisticated cyber units too. The funny thing is Govt officials with top security clearance still prefer using iPhones over their NSA & GCHQ issued encrypted shit-phones.

If Dotcom is correct, that’s a staggering claim with massive implications.

It’s certainly believable that our politicians are stupid enough to use their private devices rather than the government’s more cumbersome, but secure, devices. It’s also completely believable that Russia and China (the latter of which manufactures almost all our technology), have backdoors into our technology, especially the smartphones that our careless, narcissistic politicians use.

Finally, while causation and correlation are not the same, and “It’s done” could refer to any number of things, assuming Truss really did send the text when the explosions happened, it’s certainly circumstantial evidence. One can reasonably infer that Blinken and Truss were talking about an event that happened “a minute after the pipeline blew up and before anybody else knew.”

In summary, the Nord Streams blew on September 26. Immediately after the explosion, and before the media reported the event, British foreign secretary Liz Truss allegedly sent a text to Secretary of State Blinken stating “It’s done.” At roughly the same time, there seems to be some reliable authority claiming that Truss’s private phone was hacked.

If any of those stories is a lie, this isn’t news, it’s dangerous gossip. However, if the Chinese or Russians successfully hacked the private phone Truss foolishly used for covert operations, the only good thing we have going for us now is that Russia didn’t immediately attack both England and the United States. Conversely, the fact that Putin didn’t order such attacks may be the best evidence we have that this whole story is bunkum.

A day after a western disturbance and cyclonic circulation over Rajasthan brought unseasonal rains it, Mumbai on Sunday had a thick layer of haze settled over it.

According to weather experts, the haze was attributed to “dust-raising winds”, brought as a result of the same Western Disturbance which caused Saturday’s rains and a drop in Sunday’s temperature.

It was further said that since everybody was wearing mask due to Covid-19, no other precautions were required.

“This haze consists of mainly sand because it originates from the Middle East where the conditions are sandier. It cannot be defined as smog, which comprises a more complex mixture of pollutants,” said Gufran Beig, Project Director, SAFAR.

The Weather Department said that the dust winds phenomenon is going to last for Sunday only, but again from Monday onwards, there is a possibility of a dip in temperature in Maharashtra for the next few days.

The maximum temperature of Mumbai’s Santacruz stood at 23.8 degrees Celsius, which is lowest in the last 10 years.

The dip in temperature was a result of the cloudy sky over north Konkan. It brought day time temperatures to as low as 23-24 degrees Celsius, which is the lowest maximum temperature in the last 10 years or maybe more, for the month of January.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday said that after affecting normal life in Karachi, a massive dust storm headed towards Gujarat and south Rajasthan on Saturday evening and it may continue to have an effect till next 12 hours.

Karachi was caught off guard on Saturday morning when a dust storm that travelled from Pakistan’s west disturbed the normal life there with visibility reduced to less than or about 500 metres.

“Saurashtra coast has been getting dust rising winds from afternoon. Dwarka station reported 400 m visibility, at Porbandar, wind speed was more than 10 km per hour with visibility of less than 1 km,” the IMD said.

Winds carrying dust blew from south Pakistan areas and adjoining the Arabian Sea towards Kutch and Saurashtra towards evening.

The ‘Sand and Dust Storms Risk Assessment in Asia and the Pacific’ report for 2021, published by the Asian and Pacific Centre for the Development of Disaster Information Management (APDIM), which is a regional institution of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), had said more than 500 million people in India and more than 80 per cent of the populations of Turkmenistan, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Iran are exposed to medium and high levels of poor air quality due to sand and dust storms.

Lahore, Karachi, and Delhi are the three most affected cities, the report had said.

Dust storms, if severe, and over a longer time, also adversely affect agriculture, especially cotton.

At least 141 people died when a pedestrian suspension bridge collapsed in India’s western state of Gujarat.

A local official said most of those who had died were women, children or elderly. The bridge in Morbi had been reopened just a week ago after repairs.

There was overcrowding on the bridge at the time as people celebrated the Diwali festival, officials said.

The 230m (754ft) bridge on the Machchu river was built during British rule in the 19th Century.

The death toll is expected to rise further.

Police, military and disaster response teams were deployed and the rescue effort is continuing.

More than 177 people have been rescued so far, officials said.

“Many children were enjoying holidays for Diwali and they came here as tourists,” an eyewitness called Sukram told Reuters news agency.

“All of them fell one on top of another. The bridge collapsed due to overloading.”

Videos on social media showed dozens clinging onto the wreckage as emergency teams attempted to rescue them. Some survivors clambered up the bridge’s broken netting, and others managed to swim to the river banks.

Reports said several hundred people were on the bridge when it collapsed at around 18:40 India time (13:10 GMT) on Sunday.

A video shot before the collapse showed it packed with people and swaying and many gripping the netting on its sides.

Gujarat is the home state of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has announced compensation for the families of victims. He said he was “deeply saddened by the tragedy”.

The authorities have promised a full investigation. Questions are being asked about whether safety checks were done before the bridge was reopened. It is a popular tourist attraction known locally as Julto Pul (swinging bridge).

Home Minister Harsh Sanghavi said a number of criminal cases had been registered over the incident.

Prateek Vasava was on the bridge at the time of the incident. He told 24 Hours Gujarati-language news channel how he had swum to the river bank.

Several children fell into the river, he said, adding: “I wanted to pull some of them along with me but they had drowned or got swept away.”

Videos showed scenes of chaos as onlookers on the river banks tried to rescue those trapped in the water as darkness fell.

Let’s rembeber, Halloween is just the Western equivalent of Diwali.

It’s spooky season and everyone is way too excited for the house parties that they have scheduled. Halloween is the best day of the year, for the Western part of the world – after Christmas, of course.

But what’s the hype about in India?

Well, dressing up. Indians love to shop and dress up – the two things that unite us all together. It’s also part of the reason Diwali is such a huge festival in India. Diwali or the Festival of Lights is one of the most popular festivals of Hinduism, it symbolizes the spiritual “victory of light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance.”

Sounds familiar, doesn’t it? Maybe a little similar to Halloween?

A lot of people believe that Halloween is the western equivalent of Diwali – the tradition originated with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, when people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off ghosts. In the eighth century, Pope Gregory III designated November 1 as a time to honor all saints. Soon, All Saints Day incorporated some of the traditions of Samhain. The evening before was known as All Hallows Eve, and later Halloween. Over time, Halloween evolved into a day of activities like trick-or-treating, carving jack-o-lanterns, festive gatherings, donning costumes and eating treats.

But the traditions and formalities of the two holidays are so similar it’s hard to ignore. Before Diwali night, people clean, renovate, and decorate their houses and offices. And on Diwali night, people dress up in new clothes or their best outfits, light up diyas inside and outside their house, pray, typically to Lakshmi — the goddess of fertility and prosperity.

After the pooja, there’s fireworks, and then a family feast with a whole lot of mithais, and an exchange of gifts between family members and close friends.

Halloween, follows in somewhat the same fashion – people clean the house before the holiday arrives, decorate the house, exchange sweets and take part in other activities like trick or treating. Just like the firecrackers, on Halloween people put up huge bonfires and sing and talk around it, put up lights and celebrate the lives of the dead.

This could just be simple speculation, but the similarities in the dates is also eerie – they fall so close to each other and are celebrated in such a similar way that maybe that’s the reason India has now adopted Halloween as a part of its subculture.

Either way, it’s interesting to see that some cultures integrate without actually colliding with one another. And celebrating both the holidays is never going to be a let down because both of them are such fun, interesting holidays.

Former President Barack Obama struggled to control a Michigan crowd after a heckler interrupted his campaign speech in support of Democrat Gov. Gretchen Whitmer on Saturday.

Obama traveled to Michigan as part of a last-minute effort to rally his base around vulnerable Democrat candidates across the country.

It is unclear from the video of Obama’s speech what the heckler said, but it was enough to get the former president’s attention.

“Come on,” Obama complained as he paused his speech for more than two minutes to address the heckler.

“But this is what I mean. This is what I mean. I mean we’re having a conversation,” Obama said as the crowd attempted to drown out the heckler by chanting “Obama” repeatedly.

Obama then lectured the man on civility as security guards escorted him out of the rally. Obama said:

Right now, I’m talking. You’ll have a chance to talk sometime soon. We don’t have to interrupt each other. We don’t have to shout each other down, that’s not a good way to do business. You wouldn’t do that in workplaces. You wouldn’t just interrupt people in the middle of a conversation. It’s not how we do things.

However, the heckler disrupted Obama’s speech so much that it took several pleas from Obama before the crowd focused their attention back on him.

“So listen,” Obama said in an attempt to regain control of the crowd. “No, no, no no. Wait, wait, wait,” Obama repeatedly said.

“Quiet down,” Obama told the crowd. At one point, he shouted, “Hold on a minute,” at the crowd to regain their attention.

While Obama attempted to sway Michigan voters into supporting Whitmer, Republican challenger Tudor Dixon thinks the Democrats’ efforts are “too little, too late.

“Now they’re bringing in Barack Obama. They brought in Kamala Harris. They brought in Joe Biden. Most people are running from Joe Biden; Gretchen Whitmer is bringing him in. It’s just marrying her more to those radical policies,” Dixon told Breitbart News. “They believe that Barack Obama can bring this back to her, and I think it’s too little, too late.”

Dixon also spoke about how Whitmer’s school closures galvanized suburban women across Michigan to vote against the incumbent.

“Now she’s losing her base across the state because her base is suburban women,” Dixon said. “Suburban women are saying, ‘Woah, woah, we missed graduations. We missed proms. We missed sports. Our kids missed all of their milestones, and now you’re telling us it didn’t happen?’ It’s outrageous.”

💭 The two car bombs that exploded at Somalia’s education ministry, next to a busy market intersection, killed at least 100 people and wounded 300, President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud said on Sunday, warning the death toll could rise.

Mogadishu’s K5 intersection is normally teeming with people buying and selling everything from food, clothing and water to foreign currency and khat, a mild narcotic leaf, but it was quiet on Sunday, when emergency workers were still cleaning blood from the streets and buildings.

No one immediately claimed responsibility, but Mohamud blamed the Islamist al Qaeda-linked group al Shabaab.

The chairperson of the African Union Commission, Moussa Faki Mahamat, condemned the attack and urged the international community to “redouble its efforts to ensure robust international support to Somalia’s institutions in their struggle to defeat terrorist groups”.

The first of the explosions hit the education ministry at around 2 p.m. The second hit as ambulances arrived and people gathered to help the victims.

Mohamed Moalim, who owns a small restaurant near the intersection, said his wife, Fardawsa Mohamed, a mother of six, rushed to the scene after the first explosion to try to help.

“We failed to stop her,” he said. “She was killed by the second blast.”

President Mohamud said some of the wounded were in a serious condition and the death toll could rise.

“Our people who were massacred … included mothers with their children in their arms, fathers who had medical conditions, students who were sent to study, businessmen who were struggling with the lives of their families,” he said after visiting the scene.

Al Shabaab militants, who are seeking to topple the government and establish their own rule based on an extreme interpretation of Islamic law, frequently stage attacks in Mogadishu and elsewhere. But the group typically avoids claiming responsibility for attacks that result in large numbers of casualties.

With support from the United States and allied local militias, the president has launched an offensive against al Shabaab, although results have been limited.

Abdullahi Aden said his friend, Ilyas Mohamed Warsame, was killed while travelling in his three-wheeled “tuk tuk” taxi to see relatives before returning to his home in Britain.

“We recognised the number plate of the tuk tuk, which was now rubble,” Aden said.

“Exhausted and desperate, we found his body at midnight last night in hospital,” he said. “I can’t get the image out of my mind.”

🛑 ታሪክ እራሱን ደግሟል

❖ ንጉሥ ፋሲለደስ (ሥልጣን ሰገድ) ፲፮፻፫ – ፲፮፻፷፯/ 1603 – 1667፦

“እነዚህ በሜዳ ላይ ታርደው የምታያቸው ወይም አረመኔ ወይም መሃመዳውያን አይደሉም። ሞታቸውም ምንም ደስታ አያመጣም። ክርስቲያን እና የራስህ ሰዎች ናቸው፣ አንዳንዶቹም የስጋ ዘመዶችህ። ምንም ጥቅም የማይገኝበት ይሄ ድል አይደለም! እነዚህን በገደልክ ቁጥር እራስክን በጎራዴ ወግተህ እንደገደልክ ቁጥር ነው። ስንት ሰው አረድክ? ስንት ተጨማሪ መግደል ተፈልጋህ? መዘባበቻ ሆንን እኮ! በአረመኔወቹና በአረቦች ሳይቀር የእናት አባታቸውን ሃይማኖት ትተው እርስ በርሳቸው የሚተላለቁ እየተባልን የሰው መሳለቂያ ሆንን።”

እንግዲህ የሚከተለውን ዓይነት መልዕክት ሳስተላልፍ፣ ለሚመለከታቸው አካላት በአካልም በደብዳቤም ለማሳወቅ ስሞከር አስራ አምስት አመታት ሞልተውኛል።

ሕዝባችን ለሚገኝበት ልብ የሚሠብር ሁኔታ መንስኤ ከሆኑት ነገሮች መካከል አንዱ ‘ደም እና መቅኒ’ (ቀይና ቢጫ ያለ አረንጓዴ) የለበሰው የሉሲፈር/ቻይና/ሕወሓት ባንዲራ ነው። (ደም አስገባሪው የጋላ ዛር እነዚህን ቀለማት ይወዳቸዋል)። ጋላ-ኦሮሞዎች በጣም ደማቅ ቀይ ወይም ቢጫ የሆኑትን ቀለማት በየቤታቸው ሲጠቀሙ(አልባሳት፣ መጋርጃ፣ ጃንጥላ ወዘተ) ከልጅነታችን ጀምረን የምናየው ነው።

የጽዮንን ቀለማት በሉሲፈር ቀለማት ለመተካትና አንድ ሚሊየን ብቻ ኢ-አማኒያን የሚኖሩባትን ትግራይን ለመፍጠር ከጋላ-ኦሮሞው ፋሺስት አገዛዝና ሉሲፈራውያኑ ኤዶማውያንና እስማኤላውያን ሞግዚቶቻቸው ጋር ተናበው ባካሄዱት አስከፊ ጦርነት አማካኝነት ያዳከሟቸውን ጽዮናውያንን ክፉኛ በመጫን ላይ ላሉት ለሕወሓት አብዮተኞች ወዮላቸው! ያው ከዓመት በላይ፤ በአክሱም ጽዮን፣ በደንገላት ማርያም፣ በጉንዳጉንዶ ማርያም እና በሌሎች ብዙ ገዳማትና ዓብያተ ክርስቲያናት ስለ ተፈጸሙት ግፎችና ወንጀሎች ሁሉ አንዴም ተናግረው፣ አንዴም መረጃዎችን አላወጡም። ሁሉንም ነገር አፍነውታል። አይይይ! ሕወሓቶችና ሻዕብያዎች ከአረመኔዎቹ ከእነ ግራኝ ያልተናነሰ እጅግ በጣም ከባድ ወንጀል ነው በጽዮናውያን ላይ የፈጸሙት።

እነ ዶ/ር ደብረ ጽዮን፣ አቦይ ስብሃትና አቶ ጌታቸው ረዳ ምናልባት በዘመነ ምኒልክ በአደዋው የዘር ማጥፋት ጦርነት ወቅት ከጋላ ጋር የተዳቀሉ ግለሰቦች ሊሆኑ ይችላሉ እንጂ በጭራሽ የአክሱም ጽዮናውያን እንዳልሆኑ ያለፉት አርባ ዓመታት በተለይም እነዚህ ቀናት በግልጽ እያሳዩን ነው። የክርስቶስ ቤተሰቦችን ወደ ገደል ይዞ ለመሄድ በሕወሓት ሠራዊት መሪነት መሀመዳዊው ጀኔራል ሳሞራ ዮኑስ መቀመጡ ብዙ ነገሮችን ይጠቁመናል።

“ሐሰትን የሚናገሩትን ታጠፋቸዋለህ፤ ደም አፍሳሹንና ሸንጋዩን ሰው እግዚአብሔር ይጸየፋል።

…በአፋቸው እውነት የለምና፥ ልባቸውም ከንቱ ነው፤ ጕሮሮአቸው የተከፈተ መቃብር ነው፤ በምላሳቸው ይሸነግላሉ።”

“ጽዮናውያን ማንነታቸውን የሚወክለውን ነገር ሁሉ አክብረው፣ መስቀሉን እና ጽላተ ሙሴን ተሸክመው ጧፍ እያበሩ ‘በጨለማማዎቹ‘ የአሜሪካና አውሮፓ ጎዳናዎች ላይ ቢወጡ ኖሮ ዓለምን ከዳር እስከ ዳር ባንቀጠቀጧት ነበር።“

በአክሱም ጽዮን ላይ የዘመቱት አህዛብ የዋቄዮ-አላህ ጭፍሮች እንዲህ ናቸው፤ “ንሰሐ ገብተን አንመለስም፤ አሻፈረን!” ብለዋልና የፍርድ ቀናት ይመጡባቸው ዘንድ ግድ ነው። ጮኽናል፣ አልቅሰናል፣ ለምነናል ተማጽነናል አስጠንቅቀናል።

በዲያስፐራ ያለን ጽዮናውያን ሕዝባችን የገጠሙትን የስቃይና ሰቆቃ ቀናት እድሜ ለማሳጠር ለሰላማዊ ሰልፍ በየከተማው ስንወጣ ይህች ዓለም በጣም አድርጋ የምትፈራቸውን ክቡር መስቀሉንና ጽላተ ሙሴን እንዲሁም ልክ ቪዲዮው ላይ እንደሚታየው አክሱማዊ፣ ኢትዮጵያዊና ክርስቲያናዊ አለባበስ ነጭ በነጭ ለብሰን መውጣት ይገባናል እንጂ የሉሲፈርን/ቻይናን የሞትና ባርነት ቀለማትን በየቦታው ማስተዋወቁ ትልቅ ድፍረት ነው፣ ከባድም ኃጢአት ነው። የሉሲፈር ኮከብ ያረፈበትን፣ ሁለት ቀለማት ብቻ እና አምስት ፈርጥ ኮከብ ያረፈበትን የሕወሓት ባንዲራ እያውለበለቡ መጮኹ ምንም በጎ ነገር እንዳላመጣ እያየነው ነው፤ እንዲያውም ለሕዝባችን ስቃይና ሰቆቃ መንስኤ ከሆኑት ክፉ ነገሮች መካከል አንዱ ይህ ባንዲራ ነው።

በቃ! በቃ! በቃ! አሁን ጽዮናውያን ዛሬውኑ በራሳቸው በመተማመንና እግዚአብሔር የሰጣቸውን መንፈሳዊ ከፍታ ባለማርከስ ዓለምን በክቡር መስቀሉ እና በጽላተ ሙሴ ዓለምን ማስጠንቀቅና ማስደንገጥ ይኖርባቸዋል። ከራሳችን አብራክ የወጣው ሕወሓት ጠላት ይህን አይፈልግም እንጂ እኔ በጣም እርግጠኛ ነኝ፤ ጽዮናውያን የሉሲፈርን ባንዲራ እርግፍ አድርገው በመተው፣ እንደ አባቶቻቸውና እናቶቻቸው ነጭ በነጭ ለብሰው፤ ክቡር መስቀሉንና ጽላተ ሙሴን ተሸክመው እንዲሁም የእነ ንጉሥ ካሌብን፣ የእነ አፄ ዮሐንስን ሰንደቅ እያውለበለቡ በኒው ዮርክ፣ አምስተርዳም፣ ለንደን፣ በርሊን፣ ጄኔቫ ወይም ሮም ጎዳናዎች ላይ ልክ እንደ አክሱም ምሕላ ብዙም ሳይጮኹ በሰልፍ ቢዘዋወሩ በጣም ከፍተኛ ትኩረትን ባገኙ፣ ዓለምን ለማንቀጥቀጥ በቻሉና ብዙ የሃገራቱንም ዜጎች በተለይ ክርስቲያኖችን ከጎናቸው ለማሰለፍ በቻሉ ነበር። ዓለም ከፍተኛ መንፈሳዊ ጥማት ላይ ነው የምትገኘው፤ ብዙ የዓለማችን ማህበረሰባት የክርስቶስ ፍቅር ነው የጎደላቸው፤ ይህች ዓለም እኮ ይህን ፍቅር ሌቀሰቅስ የሚችል ኃይል ነው እንጂ በመጠባበቅ ላይ ያለችው ለብዙ መቶ ሚሊዮን ሕዝቦች ሞት ምክኒያት የሆነውን ሉሲፈራዊውኑ ለሕወሓቶች የሰጧቸውን የቻይናን ባንዲራ አይደለም።

ማታ ላይ በቴዲ ርዕዮት ቻነል ላይ የቀረበው፤ “ጌታቸው” የተሰኘው ወገን ዛሬም ለጋላ-ኦሮሞ ሲሟገት ስሰማው ደሜ በጣም ነበር የፈላው፤ “ዛሬም?” እያልኩ! የሚከተለውን ጽሑፍ ጫር ጫር አድርጌላቸው ነበር፤ ግን የቴዲ ቻነል “ጃም” ተደርጓል/ታፍኗል፤ መልዕክቱን አላወጣውም። ቴዲ የበላይ ሆነው የእርሱንና ሌሎች ቻነሎችን ከሚያፍኑት የሲ.አይ.ኤ ቅጥረኞች መካከል ኢትዮ360 + ቲ.ኤም.ኤች ይገኙበታልና እነርሱን ይጠይቃቸው!

“ቴዲ፤ ምንድን ነው ይህ ጌታቸው የተባለው ባልደረባህ የሚቀበጣጥረው? ዛሬም ልክ እንደ እነ አሉላ እና ስታሊን የጋላ-ኦሮሞዎች ጠበቃ ሆኖ አሰልቺ በሆነ መልክ፤ “አማራ አማራ…” ይላል። እነዚህ ሰዎች በጭራሽ የትግራይ ሰዎች አይመስሉኝም። ምክኒያቱም ለጨፍጫፊዎቻችን ጋላ-ኦሮሞዎች እንጂ ለትግራይ ሕዝብ የምር ከልባቸው ሲያስቡ በጭራሽ አይታዩምና/አይሰሙምና ነው። ጋላ-ኦሮሞዎቹ እኮ ማንንም/ምንም ሳይፈሩ ያቀዱትንና ጥላቻቸውን በግልጽ እየነገሩን እኮ ነው፦

👹 አጭበርባሪው አይጠ-መጎጥ ‘ሕዝቅኤል ጋቢሳ’ ከቀናት በፊት ለሲ.አይ.ኤ ቅጥረኛው አጋሩ ለአሉላ ሰለሞን፤ “የትህነግ ጀኔራሎች ከተጋሩ ጋር የተዳቀሉ ኦሮሞዎች ናቸው” ሲል ነበር።

👹 ዶ/ር ገመቹ መገርሳ“የኢትዮጵያ ችግር ኦሮሞ ነዉ ፥ የኦሮሞ ችግርም ኢትዮጵያ ናት!”

☆ በዘመኑ የነበሩት አውሮፓዊው የታሪክ ፀሐፊ ፔድሮ ፔዝ ደግሞ ፤ “ከ ክፋት የከፋ ቃል ቢኖር ለ ጋላ–ኦሮሞ ብቻ ነው የሚገባው!” ብለውናል።

አዎ! ዛሬ ከትግራይ እስከ ወለጋና ባሌ እያየን ያለነው ይህን የጋላ–ኦሮሞዎችን ክፉነት፣ አረመኔነትና ጭካኔ ነው! ጄነራላ አሳምነው እኮ በትክክል ጠቁሞን ነበር። ጋላ–ኦሮሞዎች ከአምስት መቶ ዓመታት በፊት ሲሠሩት የነበረውን ጽንፈኛ ተግባር ነው ዛሬ “በዘመናዊ መልክ” በመፈጸምና በማስፈጸም ላይ ያሉት። የትክክለኛዎቹ የትግራይ ጽዮናውያን ቍ.፩ ጠላት ጋላ-ኦሮሞዎች ናቸው። ዛሬ የጨፍጫፊዎቻችን የጋላ-ኦሮሞ ጠበቃ ሆነው በቁስላችን ላይ እንጨት እየሰደዱ ያሉት እነ ጌታቸው + አሉላ + ስታሊን ወዘተ በእግዚአብሔር ዘንድ፣ በጽዮን ማርያም ፊት በጽኑ ይጠየቁበታል፤ እኛም ጋላ-ኦሮሞዎች እየፈጸሙት ባሉት በትግራይ ጀነሳይድ አሳድደን እንጠይቃቸዋለን፤ አንለቃቸውም፤ ለፍርድ ይቀርቡ ዘንድ ግድ ነው!”

ከአምስት መቶ ዓመታት በፊት የተፈጸመውን የምዕራባውያኑ ኤዶማውያን እና የምስራቃውያኑ እስማኤላውያን ጂሃድ ለመረዳት በከሃዲው አፄ ሱስንዮስ ዘመን የነበረውን ታሪክ መገምገም ብቻ በቂ ነው፤

ዓፄ ሱሰኒዮስ

ዓፄ ሱስኒዩስ በዙፋን ስማቸው “መልአክ ሰገድ” ተብለው ሲታወቁ በ፲፭፻፸፪/1572 ተወልደው በ፲፮፻፴፪/1632 (እ.ኤ.አ)አርፈዋል። ከ፲፮፻፮/1606–፲፮፻፴፪/1632 እ.ኤ.አ. የኢትዮጵያ ንጉሠ ነገሥት የነበሩ ሲሆን፣ አባታቸው የአፄ ልብነ ድንግል የልጅ ልጅ የሆኑት አቤቶ ፋሲለደስ እና ልጃቸው ደግሞ ዓፄ ፋሲለደስ ነበሩ። እናታቸው ወይዘሮ ሐመልማለ-ወርቅ የተሰኙ የጎጃም አስተዳዳሪ ልጅ ነበሩ።

በሱሰንዮስ ዘመን የነበረው የጀስዩት ሚስዩን አልሜዳ ሱሰንዩስ “ረጅም፣ ወንዳወንድ፣ ትላልቅ አይኖች ያሉት፣ አፍንጫው ቀጥ ያለና ጢሙም በጥንቃቄ የተከረከመ ነው” ካለ በኋላ አለባበሱን ሲገልፅ ” [በጊዜው የአውሮጳውያን ፋሽን የነበረውን አይነት] እስከ ጉልበቱ የሚደርስ ከደማቅ ቀይ ሐር የተሰራ በፍታ በስስ ጥብቅ ያለ ሱሪ እና በትላልቅ ወርቅ ያጌጠ ቀበቶ ለብሶ ከላዩ ላይ በተለያየ ቅርጻቅርጽ ያጌጠ ካባ ይደርባል። “

ሱሰኒዩስ የተወለደው የአህመድ ግራኝ ሰራዊት ከተሸነፈ በኋላ ሲሆን በዚህ ጊዜ የህዝብ ንቅናቄ ይታይ ነበር። የሱሰኒዮስ ዜና መዋዕል እንደሚያትተው በህፃንነቱ ከአባቱ ጋር ጎጃም ውስጥ ይኖሩበት የነበረው ከተማ በአንድ ተንቀሳቃሽ የኦሮሞ ቡድን ስር ወደቀ ፤ አባቱና ቀሪው የከተማው ሰው ሲገደል እሱ ግን ለአንድ አመት ከግማሽ በምርኮ ከኦሮሞው ቡድን መሪ ጋር ተቀመጠ። ከዚያ በኋላ የኦሮሞው ቡድን በዳሞት ከደጅ አዝማች አስቦ ጋር ጦርነት ለመግጠም ሞክሮ በመሸነፉ ወደአካባቢው ዋሻወች በመግባት ለመሸሸግ ሞከረ። የደጃአዝማች አስቦ ሰራዊት የተሸሸጉትን ቡድኖች አባላት እዋሻው ድረስ በመግባት ከነመሪያቸው በሰንሰለት አሰሩዋቸውና “ህጻኑን ሱሰኒዮስ ካመጣችሁ ትለቀቃላችሁ ካላመጣችሁ ግን ትገደላላችሁ” አላቸው። ሱሰኒዮስ በዚህ መንገድ ሲለቀቅ፣ ደጃች አስቦ ህጻኑን መንገዱ ለተባለ የአቤቶ ፋሲለደስ ወዳጅ በአደራ ሰጡት። መንገዱም የንግስት አድማስ ሞገሴ (የአፄ ሰርፀ ድንግል እናት) ቤተኛ ስለነበር ህጻኑ ከንግስቲቱ ዘንድ አደገ ።

ወህኒና አጼ ያዕቆብ

በ፲፭፻፺/1590ወቹ የአፄ ሰርፀ ድንግል ልጆች እድሜያቸው ገና ጨቅላ ስለነበር ፣ አጼው ፣ የወንድማቸውን ልጅ ዘድንግልን ለተተኪ ንጉስነት አጭተውት ነበር። ንግስት ማርያም ሰናና የወቅቱ መሳፍንት (ለምሳሌ ራስ አትናቲወስ) የ ፯/7 ዓመት ህጻን የነበረው የሰርፀ ድንግል ልጅ ያዕቆብ እንዲነገስ የአባቱን ሃሳብ አስቀየሩ። ህጻኑም የነገሰበት ጊዜ ከ፲፭፻፺፯/1597 እስከ ፲፮፻፫/1603 ነበር። በዚህ ጊዜ የርስ በርስ ጦርነት እንዳይነሳ ለህጻኑ ስልጣን ተቀናቃኝ ሊሆን ይችላል የተባለውና በህዝቡ ዘንድ ተወዳጅነት ያተረፈውን ዘድንግልን በግዞት ወደ ጣና ሃይቅ እንዲባረር አደረጉ። ሱሰኒዮስም ከዘድንግል ጋር አብሮ ከማደጉ በተጨማሪ ይዋደዱ ስለነበር ( እንዲሁም ልክ እንደ ዘድንግል ለያዕቆብ ስልጣን አስጊ ሆነ ስለተገኘ) በማምለጥ በጎጃምና ሸዋ ገዳማት እንዲሁም በኋላ ከተንቀሳቃሽ ኦሮሞወች ጋር ኑሮውን አደረገ። አብረውት ከነበሩት ኦሮሞወች ሠራዊት በመመልመል ሸዋ ውስጥ በተለይ ይፋትን፣ መርሃ ቤቴንና ቢዛሞን በጦርነት ተቆጣጠረ።

ወጣቱ ንጉስ ያዕቆብ የጊዜው መኳንንቶች ስልጣን ያለገደብ መሆኑን በመቃወም ስልጣናቸው እንዲገደብ በመሞከሩና በእድሜው ምክናያት በሱ ቦታ ሆኖ አገሪቱን የሚያስተዳድረውን ራስ አትናቲወስን ስልጣን መጋፋት ሲጀምር ከዘመኑ ባለስልጣኖች ጋር ጥል ገባ። በዚህ ጊዜ መኳንንቶቹ “ሃይማኖት የለሽ አረመኔ” እና “ጠንቋይ” ነው የሚል የፈጠራ ወሬ በንጉሱ ላይ በመንዛት በግዞት ከስልጣን እንዲባረርና በእንራያ በስደት እንዲኖር አደረጉት። አጼ ዘድንግልን በ ፲፮፻፫/1603 የጉራጌው ራስዘስላሴ አቀነባባሪነት ንጉሰ ነገስት አደረጉት። ዘድንግል፣ ምንም እንኳ አይምሮው ብሩህ የነበረ መሪ ቢሆንም ወደ ካቶሊክ ሃይማኖት በማዘንበሉ ምክንያት አመፅና ጦርነት ተነስቶበት በ፲፮፻፬/1604 በላባርት ጦርነት ሞተ።

ንግስና

ዘድንግል ባለፈ ጊዜ ሱሰኒዮስ በምስራቅ ጎጃም በምተገኘው ጥንታዊቷ መርጡለማሪያም ቤ/ክርስቲያን የዙፋን አክሊል ደፋ (ህዳር ፲፮፻፬/1604 እ.ኤ.አ)። ነገር ግን ራስ ዘስላሴና አንዳንድ መኳንንት ቀደምት የተባረረውን ንጉስ ያዕቆብን በመደገፍ አቋም ያዙ፣ እንዲሁም መልሰው አነገሱት ። በአንድ አገር ሁለት አጼ መኖር ስለማይችል፣ ሱሰኒዮስ፣ ራስዘስላሴን ጦርነት ገጥሞ ከማረካቸው በኋላ አጼ ያዕቆብን በ1607 ደቡብ ጎጃም ውስጥ የጎል ጦርነት ተብሎ በሚታወቀው ገጥሞ አሸነፈው። ከዚህ ጦርነት በኋላ ሱሰኒዮስ ብቸኛው የአገሪቱ መሪ ሆነ።

ራስ ዘስላሴም ከምርኮ በኋላ ሱሰኒዩስን ይደግፉ እንጂ ቆይተው፣ ንጉሱ ወደ ካቶሊክ ሃይማኖት በማድላቱ፣ መጣላታቸው አልቀረም ። በዚህ ምክንያት በምስራቅ ጎጃም በሚገኝው አምባ ጉዛምን ለእስር ተዳረጉ። አምባው ላይ አመት ከቆዩ በኋላ በማምለጥ በሽፍትነት እያሉ አንድ ገበሬ ገድሎ እራሳቸውን ለንጉሱ ሱሰኒዮስ እንደላከ ጄምስ ብሩስ ይተርካል።

አሰምሳዮቹ አጼ ያዕቆቦች

በጎል ጦርነት ጊዜ የአጼ ያዕቆብ ሰራዊት ሽንፈት ይድረስበት እንጂ የንጉሱ ሬሳ በጦር ሜዳው ስላልተገኘ በጦርነቱ መሞቱ አጠራጣሪ ሆነ። በዚህ ምክንያት ብዙ “አጼ ያዕቆብ እኔ ነኝ” የሚሉ የአመፅ መሪወች በሱሰኒዮስ ንግስና ዘመን ተነሱ። ለምሳሌ ሱሰኒዩስ ከነገሰ በኋላ በ፲፮፻፰/1608 ደብረ ቢዘን (ያሁኑ ኤርትራ) ውስጥ አጼ ያዕቆብ ነኝ የሚል ብዙ ተከታይ ያለው መሪ ተነሳ። ይህ አሰምሳይ ንጉስ ሁል ጊዜ ፊቱን ተሸፋፍኖ ነበር ሰው ፊት የሚቀርበው። ለዚህ እንግዳ ጸባዩም የሚሰጠው ምክንያት “በጦርነት ፊቴ ላይ ጠባሳና ቁስል ስለደረሰ ሰውን ላለማስቀየም” ነው ይል ነበር ።

የትግራይ ገዢ የነበረው ሰዕለ ክርስቶስ የአመጹን መነሳት በሰማ ጊዜ የራሱንና የፖርቱጋል ወታደሮችን አሰልፎ በአስመሳዩ ንጉስ ላይ ዘመተ፡፡ አመጸኛው ሶስት ጊዜ በጦርነት ቢሸነፍም ሳይማረክ በማምለጥ በሐማሴን ተራራወች ለመደበቅ ቻለ።

ይህ በዚህ እንዳለ፣ የስዕለ ክርስቶስ ሰራዊት ወደ ሰሜን መክተቱን የሰሙት የኦሮሞ ቡድኖች ትግራይን በመወረር ከፍተኛ ጉዳት አደረሱ በዚህ ምክንያት ንጉሱ ወደ ትግራይ ለመሄድ መሰናዶ ጀመረ። በመሃል ግን በርብ ወንዝ ተፋሰስ አካባቢ የመረዋ ኦሮሞ ተብለው የሚታወቁ ቡድኖች ገጥመው በመጀመሪያው ዙር ስላላሸነፈ ለሁለተኛ ጊዜ ሃይሉን አጠናክሮ በመግጠም አሸንፎ እንዲበታተኑ አደረገ። የተበተኑት መረዋወች ከሌሎች ኦሮሞወች ጋር ሃይላቸውን አጠናክረው በማበር ለብቀላ እንደገና ወደ በጌ ምድር ወረራ አደረጉ። በዚህ ጊዜ ሱሰኒዩስ ከቀኛዝማች ጁሊየስ እና ክፍለ ክርስቶስ ጋር በመሆን ጥር፲፯/17፣ ፲፮፻፰/1608 የእብናት ጦርነት ተብሎ በሚታወቀው ድል አድረጉ። ጀምስ ብሩስ፣ የነገስታቱን ዜና መዋዕል ዋቢ አድርጎ እንደዘገበ፣ በ እብናት ጦርነት ወቅት ከንጉሱ ወገን ፬፻/ 400 ሲሞቱ ከወራሪወቹ ዘንድ ፲፳፻/12000 ሞተዋል ይላል።

የዚህ ጉዳይ በንዲህ ከተጠናቀቀ በኋላ፣ ባለ ድሉ ሱሰኒዮስ፣ ወደ ትግራይ በሊማሊሞገደል እና ዋልድባ አድርጎ አቀና። በዚያውም የንጉሰ ነገስትነቱን ማዕረግ ታህሳስ ፲፰/18፣ ፲፮፻፰/1608 በአክሱም አጸና። በትግራይ ውስጥ ተነስቶ የነበረውንም አመፅና የኦሮሞ ቡድን ጥቃት በማሸነፍ ጸጥታ አሰፈነ። ይሁንና አሰመሳዩን ያዕቆብን ለመያዝ ያደረገው ጥረት ፍሬ ስላላፈራ ስራውን መልሶ ለወንድሙ ስዕለ ክርስቶስ ተወለትና ወደ ቤተ መንግስቱ ደንካዝ ተመለሰ። ትንሽ ቆይቶም በስዕለ ክርስቶስ ገፋፊነት ሁለት የአስመሳዩ ያዕቆብ ተከታዮች መሪያቸውን በመግድል አንገቱን ቆርጠው ለሱሰኒዩስ ላኩ። ስኮቱ ጄምስ ብሩስ እንደመዘገበ “የአስመሳዩ እራስ ስላልተሸፋፈነ፣ አሰመሳዩ ፊት ላይ ምንም ጠባሳ፣ ምንም ቁስል፣ ምንም ችግር እንደሌለ አስተዋልን። ይልቁኑ ይሸፋፈን የነበረው ከእውነተኛው ንጉስ ያዕቆብ ጋር ምንም ምሥሥል እንዳልነበረው ለመደበቅ እንደነበር ተገነዘብን” በማለት የደብረ ቢዘኑ አጼ ያዕቆብ ታሪክ በንዲህ መልክ ተቋጨ።

ሱሰኒዮስና የካቶሊክ እምነት

ሱሰኒዮስ በርግጥ ረጅም ጊዜ አገሪቱን ይምራት እንጂ አስተዳደሩ የሚታወቀው የኢትዮጵያን መንግስት ሃይማኖት ከተዋህዶ ወደ ካቶሊክ በመቀየሩ ነው። ሱሰኒዮስ ካቶሊክ ሃይማኖትን የተቀበለበት ምክንያት በሁለት ምክንያት ነበር፦ አንደኛው ፔድሮ ፔዝ የተባለው የጀስዩት ሰባኪ ስላግባባው ሲሆን ሁለተኛው ደግሞ ከፖርቹጋል እና ስፔን ወታደራዊ ድጋፍ ለማግኘት ነበር። በ ታህሳስ ፲/10፣ ፲፮፻፯/1607 ለፖርቹጋሉ ንጉስ እና ጥቅምት ፲፬/14 ፲፮፻፯/1607 ለ ሮማው ፓፓ በጻፈው ደብዳቤው (አሁን ድረስ ይገኛል) ወታደሮች እንደሚፈልግ ሲገልጽ ነገር ግን ሃይማኖቱን መቀየሩን በሁለቱም ደብዳቤወች አይገልጽም፤ ይልቁኑ በሁለቱም ደብዳቤወቹ ሙሉ ትጥቅ ያደርጉ የአውሮጳ ወታደሮች እንዲልኩለት ይጠይቃል። የዚህም ጥያቄ መነሻው የማያቋርጥ አመፅ አንዴ በሃይማኖት፣ ሌላ ጊዜ በ”አሰምሳይ ያዕቆቦች” በተረፈም በተንቀሳቃሽ የኦሮሞ ቡድኖች ስለተነሳበት ነበር።

ሱሰኒዮስ ከመጀመሪያው ጀምሮ ለካቶሊኮች ብዙ እርዳት አድርጓል፣ ለምሳሌ በግዛቱ መጀምሪያ ለካቶሊክ ጀስዊቶች በጎርጎራ ሰፋፊ መሬት ሰጥቷቸው ነበር። ቆይቶም በ፲፮፻፳፪/1622 ፣ የነበሩትን ብዙ ሚስቶች (ከመጀመሪያየቱ ሚስቱ በቀር) በመፍታት፣ የካቶሊክ እምነት መቀበሉን በአደባባይ አስታወቀ። ሆኖም ግን ፔድሮ ፔዝ ይባል የነበረው ለዘብተኛው የካቶሊኩ ቄስ በበሽታ በመሞቱ ከስፔን አልፎንሶ ሜንዴስ የተባለ ጳጳስ በኢትዮጵያ ላይ ተሹሞ በ፲፮፻፳፬/1624 መጣ። አዲሱ ጳጳስ በጣም ግትር፣ እኔ ያልኩት ካልሆነ የሚል፣ ጠባብ አይምሮ የነበረውና መቻቻል የማያውቅ ነበር። ቶሎ ብሎም የቅዳሜን ሰንበትነት ሻረ፣ ብዙ አጽዋማትንም አስወጣ፣ ከዚያም በህዝብ ፊት የሮማው ፓፓን የበላይነት በኢትዮጵያ ላይ አወጀ። በዚህ ምክንያት አመፅ ተነሳ። የሱሰኒዩስ ወንድም የማነ ክርስቶስ፣ ጃንደረባው ክፍለ ዋህድ ና ጁሊየስ ሦስቱ ሆነው ሱሰኒዮስን ሊገድሉት ሞከሩ ግን ሱሰኒዮስ አመለጠ። መልሰውም ጦርነት ጎጃም ውስጥ ከፈቱበት ግን ተሸነፉ።

የሃማኖት አመፅ

በሃይማኖት የተነሳው አመፅ እየጨመረ እንጂ እየበረደ ሊሄድ አልቻለም። በተለይ በወንድሙ መልክዐ ክርስቶስ ይመራ የነበረው የላስታ አመፅ ሊሸነፍ አልቻለም። በ፲፮፻፳፱/1629 ወደ ፴/30 ሺ ወታደሮች አስከትሎ የላስታውን አመፅ ለመቆጣጠር ያደረገው ጥረት ሳይሳካ ቀረ። እንዲያውም መሪ የነበረው የሚስቱ ወንድም ልጅ በጦርነቱ ተገደለ። ለሁለተኛ ጊዜ መልክዓ ክርስቶስን ለመግጠም ያደረገው ሙከራ ከሁሉ ሁሉ የራሱ ወታደሮች ወኔ መኮስመኑን አስገነዘበው። በዚህ ምክንያት የወታደሮቹን ወኔ ለመገንባት የሃይማኖት ነጻነት በመፍቀድ የ”ዕሮብን ጾም” እንዲጾሙ ፈቀደ። ይሁንና አሁንም እንደበፊቱ የመልዐከ ክርስቶስ ጦር ሊበገር አልቻለም። ሱሰኒዮስ ያለምንም ፍሬ ወደ ቤ/መንግስቱ ዳንካዝ ባዶ እጁን ተመለ።

ለሶስተኛ ዙር ጦር ለመግጠም በሚዘጋጅበት ጊዜ የሰራዊቱ ወኔ ከመዝቀጡ የተነሳ ለመዝመት እንደማይፈልጉ ተገነዘበ። ላስታ ውስጥ የሚካሄደው የማያባራ ጦርነት ምንም ለውጥ እንዳላመጣ፣ የአገሪቱን ግዛት እንደማይጨምር፣ የሚዋጉዋቸውም ሰወች ጠላት እንዳልሆኑና፣ በሃይማኖት ምክንያት የነበረው ሰቆቃ እንዲያቆም በልጁ በፋሲለደስ አድርገው ወታደሮቹ ምክንያታቸውን ገለጹለት። ሱሰንዮስም መልሶ በዚህ በሶስተኛው ዙር የላስታውን አመፅ ድል ካደረጉለት የቀደመውን የኢትዮጵያ ሃይማኖት እንደሚመልስ በልጁ ላከባቸው።

የፋሲለደስ ንግግር

የሱሰኒዮስን ቃል ኪዳን ገንዘብ በማድረግ ሰራዊቱ ወደ ላስታ ተመመ። በዚህ መካከል ፳፶፻/25000 የሚሆኑ የመልክዐ ክርስቶስ ሰራዊት ላስታን ለቀው መሃል መንገድ ላይ ሊገናኙት ሰልፍ እንደጀመሩ መረጃ አገኘ። ሐምሌ ፳፮/26፣ ፲፮፻፴፩/1631 ሰራዊቶች ተገናኙ። በዚህ ጊዜ ሱሰኒዮስ ከጥቂት ፈረሰኞቹ ጋር በመሆን በድፍረት ቀደም ብለው የመጡትን የመልዐክ ክርስቶስ ወታደሮች በማጥቃት እግረኛው ሳይቀላቀላቸው አሽመደመዱት። በዚህ ጊዜ ሌላው የላስታ ሰራዊት በፍርሃት ተበተነ፣ የንጉሱም ፈረሰኛ ጦር ብዙውን ገደለ። በዚህ ሁኔታ አመጸኞቹ ሲሸነፉ መሪያቸው የንጉሱ ወንድም ግን በፈረሱ ፍጥነት ምክንያት ሊያመልጥ ቻለ። በሚቀጥለው ቀን አጼ ሱሰኒዮስ ከልጁ ፋሲለደስ ጋር ያለፈውን ቀን የጦር ውሎ ለመገምገም ወደሜዳ ወጡ። ፹፻/8000 የሚሆኑ የመልክዐ ክርስቶስ ሰራዊት መሞታቸውን ባየ ጊዜ ፋሲለደስ ለአባቱ እንዲህ ሲል መናገሩን ጄምስ ብሮስ ያትታል ፡

እነዚህ በሜዳ ላይ ታርደው የምታያቸው ወይም አረመኔ ወይም መሃመዳውያን አይደሉም። ሞታቸውም ምንም ደስታ አያመጣም። ክርስቲያን እና የራስህ ሰዎች ናቸው፣ አንዳንዶቹም የስጋ ዘመዶችህ። ምንም ጥቅም የማይገኝበት ይሄ ድል አይደለም! እነዚህን በገደልክ ቁጥር እራስክን በጎራዴ ወግተህ እንደገደልክ ቁጥር ነው። ስንት ሰው አረድክ? ስንት ተጨማሪ መግደል ተፈልጋህ? መዘባበቻ ሆንን እኮ! በአረመኔወቹና በአረቦች ሳይቀር የእናት አባታቸውን ሃይማኖት ትተው እርስ በርሳቸው የሚተላለቁ እየተባልን የሰው መሳለቂያ ሆንን።

💭 At least 149 people were killed and another 150 injured after they were crushed in a large Halloween crowd in Seoul on Saturday night, the city’s fire department said, in one of the deadliest peacetime accidents in South Korea’s recent history.

Videos from Seoul’s Itaewon district show body bags on the streets, emergency workers performing CPR, and rescuers trying to pull people trapped beneath others.

It is not known what caused the crush.

South Korea’s President Yoon Suk-yeol has called an emergency meeting.

Meanwhile Choi Seong-beom, chief of Seoul’s Yongsan fire department, told the AP news agency that the bodies of 13 dead had been sent to hospital while the other 46 remained on the streets.

Crowded area ‘felt unsafe’

There were reportedly 100,000 revellers in the area celebrating the first outdoor no-mask Halloween event since the pandemic.

Social media messages posted earlier in the evening show some people remarking that the Itaewon area was so crowded that it felt unsafe.

The BBC’s Hosu Lee, who visited the scene, said he saw “a lot of medial staff, a lot of ambulances, they were taking the bodies away one by one”.

Mr Lee said there were thousands among the crowds, and a number of bodies covered in blue sheets, alongside a “ton of police”.

“A lot of young people have gathered here tonight. A lot of people came to the party and club, wearing costumes and a lot of people I’ve seen distraught and sad and there are chaotic scenes,” said Mr Lee.

Photos and videos show a number of both emergency responders and civilians attending to what appear to be unconscious people on the streets.

In one video numerous responders appear to be performing CPR on people in a narrow road in the district.

In another, emergency responders try to pull out people from what appears to be a pile of people’s bodies following a crowd surge.

Britain’s Royal Navy helped to execute the “terrorist attack” which damaged the Nord Stream gas pipelines from Russia to the European Union, the Russian defence ministry has alleged.

The Russian ministry levelled the allegation at Britain’s senior military service in a news bulletin centred primarily on what they claimed was an attempted “terrorist attack against the ships of the Black Sea Fleet and civilian ships” on Saturday morning by Ukrainian drones in the vicinity of Sevastopol, Crimea, which was annexed by Moscow in 2014.

“The preparation of this terrorist act and the training of military personnel of 73rd Marine Special Operations Centre were carried out under supervision of British specialists in the city of Ochakov, Nikolayev region in Ukraine,” the Russian statement, posted on Telegram, asserted, without providing supporting evidence.

“According to available information, representatives of this unit of the British Navy took part in the planning, provision and implementation of a terrorist attack in the Baltic Sea on September 26 this year — blowing up the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines,” they added — again, without providing supporting evidence.

Of the attempted “terrorist attack” against the Black Sea Fleet, the Russians claimed that their vessels — which they said were “involved in ensuring the security of the ‘grain corridor’ as part of an international initiative to export agricultural products from Ukrainian ports” — were targeted by “nine unmanned aerial vehicles and seven autonomous maritime drones.”

They claimed all of the aerial drones and most of the maritime drones were “annihilated by shipborne weapons and maritime aviation” but that one minesweeper and a floating net boom sustained “minor” damage.

Russian forces have themselves been accused of targeting Ukrainian infrastructure — particularly energy infrastructure — with Iranian drones in recent weeks, causing substantial degradation of the invaded country’s grid as the winter months approach.

As the Russians have accused the British navy of planning and directing Ukrainian drone attacks, so have the Ukrainians accused Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of supporting and directing Russian drone attacks.

BASF has said it will have to downsize “permanently” in Europe, with high energy costs making the region increasingly uncompetitive.

“The European chemical market has been growing only weakly for about a decade [and] the significant increase in natural gas and power prices over the course of this year is putting pressure on chemical value chains,” chief executive Martin Brudermüller said on Wednesday.

Brudermüller said the European gas crisis, coupled with stricter industry regulations in the EU, was forcing the company to cut costs in the region “as quickly as possible and also permanently”.

There’s no way to sugar coat that. It’s a permanent downsizing of BASF. And according to additional sources, this is just the beginning of BASF’s abandoning Germany for good. The downsizing will continue to the point where there’s hardly any production happening in Europe at all.

After all, what choice do they have? With natural gas pipelines destroyed (by the USA), economic sanctions against Russia still in place, and lunatic greenie cultists demanding an end to human civilization, BASF has concluded it can no longer operate in Europe, a continent dominated by an actual death cult of climate lunatics and power-hungry political zealots.

Europe dies from this day forward

Today is the pivot point. Europe dies from here forward, and it doesn’t recover for generations. It’s done. Almost nobody realizes this yet, but the dominoes are already falling.

Europe is rapidly plunging into a continent on a collision course with total collapse: no industry, no supply chains, no energy, no metals, no fertilizer and no food. The “first world” status of Europe will be a distant memory after just 2-3 winters without food and energy, and once Europe’s industrial infrastructure is shuttered, there’s no easy way to bring it back online.

This is going to end in mass civil unrest, famine, pandemics and WAR. It will also see revolutions and the toppling of governments, currencies and entire economies. The house of cards is coming down.
