Egyptian Lawyer Says It Is a ‘National Duty’ for Men to Rape Girls Who Wear Ripped Jeans

An Egyptian lawyer has sparked outrage after telling a national television audience it is his “patriotic and national duty” to harass and rape young girls who wear revealing clothes including ripped jeans.

Nabih al-Wahsh said women wearing clothing should be punished. He warned:

“Are you happy when you see a girl walking down the street with half of her behind showing? I say that when a girl walks about like that, it is a patriotic duty to sexually harass her and a national duty to rape her.”

The shock remarks came in a panel show broadcast on Al-Assema during a debate over a draft law on prostitution and sparked outrage across the country. Egypt’s National Council for Women now plans to file a complaint against the lawyer and the TV channel.

The council also urged media outlets not to host controversial figures who make remarks that incite violence against women.

The furore follows last month’s revelation that Cairo is the world’s most dangerous megacity for women, and has become more perilous since the 2011 uprisings.

France 24 reports that Cairo came in last of 19 megacities for its ability to protect women from harassment and rape on its streets.

A study conducted by the Egyptian Centre for Women’s Rights in 2008 found that 83 percent of women said they’d been sexually harassed, many of them daily, and 62 percent of men admitted to harassing women; advocates believe the percentage of women harassed is significantly higher.

Human Sacrifice in New York | You Celebrate Halloween which is Devoted to Death and Satan, You’re Gonna Reap Death and Satan

It’s known in the past that human sacrifices were performed during pagan Druid/Celtic celebrations of Halloween.

Merle Severy, “The Celts,” National Geographic (May 1977), pages 625-626, describes “the eve of Samhain… the start of the Celtic new year:

“According to the Dinshenchas, a medieval collection of “the lore of prominent places,” firstborn children were sacrificed before a great idol to ensure fertility of cattle and crops. Samhain eve was a night of dread and danger. At this juncture of the old year and the new, our world and the otherworld opened up to each other. The dead returned, ghosts and demons were abroad, and the future could be seen.. . . Behind such Halloween games as bobbing for apples lie Celtic divination arts to discern who would marry, thrive, or die in the coming year. Behind the masks and mischief, the jack-o’lanterns and food offerings, lurk the fear of malevolent spirits and the rites to propitiate them.”

This is exactly what’s happening again in today’s “civilized” world. Westerners are now conditioned to celebrate death through festivities like “Halloween”, “Día de los Muertos (the Day of the Dead  in Mexico — they too are killing each other)”, through horror and scary movies, theaters and games. Folks are sacrificing their children again!

Halloween is America’s second favorite „religious holiday“, in the amount of money spent to Christmas. Think about that! You celebrate a holiday devoted to death and Satan, you’re gonna reap death and Satan!

Demonic rituals, costume parties, trick-or-treating, pumpkin carving and haunted houses. The ghosts and ghouls are a reminder of the day’s dark origins in ancient Celtic history, when Oct. 31 was believed to be the night when ghosts of the dead returned to earth.

By the way, yesterday Martin Luther’s Protestant Reformation turned 500 – and it’s celebrated parallel to Halloween. What does Halloween have to do with the Reformation? Plenty. Halloween played a pivotal role in religious history as Reformation Day. It wasn’t coincidence that Martin Luther chose that particular date to release “The 95 Theses” in Wittenberg, Germany, setting in motion the biggest religious upheaval in history.
