A Syrian refugee family with 5 kids call their daughter Angela Merkel Muhammad — and it’s well publicized, as Die Welt reported. Woow!
Refugees from Syria, whose daughter was born in the city of Münster, gave her the name of Angela Merkel. Angela Merkel Muhammed was born on 16 August at the St. Francis Catholic Hospital in Münster.
The family fled from Syria with five children and has been living in Germany for the past two years. They gave their daughter the name out of gratitude to the Chancellor.
The baby is not the first child born in Germany to bear the name of the Federal Chancellor. For example, refugees from Duisburg had also called their child born in December 2015 so, recalled a spokesman of the city of Duisburg.
Selected comments:
If you have a completely uncertain future, how is that possible that your bring a 5th child into the world? But is already ok, we already pay for it! My wife and I have been thinking for a long time if we could still afford a second child at all.
Hardly arrived in Germany, they have nothing esle to do but to enlarge the family as quickly as possible
Is it necessary to have so many children if the financial future is not secured? Germany pays, or what!?
Out of gratitude, the name “taxpayer” might be more appropriate.
Taxpayer Muhammed …. find the error;)
The birth of the child in Germany ensures the residence status of the family for the next 18 years.
If my next grandson is called Josef Stalin or Ho Chi Ming. Will it also be easy at the civil registry office ?
What a moving story. One must indeed worship the sun queen.
Why are Syrians still in Germany? There is now a truce.
All taxpayers would have to emigrate, that is my favorite dream.
Meanwhile, dictator Merkel said yeasterday that her decision in 2015 to allow millions of Muslims into Germany was right. We were told last month that Angela Merkel told Donald Trump she “wishes” she hadn’t opened Germany’s borders to refugees. This is unbelievably crazy. To top it all off, Merkel will be reelected in September. What’s going on?
Breitbart reported the following story:
Despite Terror, Mass Sex Attacks, Merkel Still Stands by Her Decision to Open German Borders
German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Sunday stood by her decision to open Germany’s borders to hundreds of thousands of refugees two years ago, a move she has previously defended as a necessary response to a humanitarian emergency.
Asked during a pre-election television event with voters whether she would do things differently if faced with the same situation, Merkel said in retrospect, “I still think my decision was right.”
Merkel told private German broadcaster RTL on Sunday that she would run for a full four-year term if she is re-elected next month.
Asked whether she would stand for election again in 2021, the 63-year-old chancellor said, “That will be discussed again at the appropriate time.” She repeatedly used the same phrase before committing herself to run in this year’s election.
