Hollywood’s Feminist A-List Cashes In on Global Suffering of People of Color

New Year’s Eve personality Kathy Griffin has a message for Donald Trump: she wants to hold his bloody severed head in her hands.

Griffin’s hyperviolent “art” photography holding the simulated Trump head will rightfully put a spotlight on the culture of violence leftists have cultivated in America follow the President’s electoral victory. But it should also serve as a reminder that Griffin is not alone on Hollywood’s female comedy A-list in feeling comfortable using the suffering of non-white people around the world to make money and generate headlines. Too many of Hollywood’s liberal white female comedians see their suffering as joke fodder for new movies, sketches, or stand-up routines.

Griffin’s “beheading” photo plagiarizes an aesthetic popularized by the Islamic State, in which jihadis hold up photos of severed heads and smile into the camera, beaming with their trophies. Toddlers in terrorist training camps start off with dolls or teddy bears before graduating to human heads. The most aggressive jihadi teachers have their children holding up bloody heads before age 10.

These children are taught that beheadings are proper punishment for kuffar (unbelievers) and Muslim traitors who do not adhere to the Islamic State’s version of Sunni Islam. Christians, Jews, Shiite Muslims, and anyone believed to have violated Sharia law, often on video as a threat to the rest of the world. The Islamic State has singled out President Donald Trump for such a fate, but most of its actual victims are not American. They are Syrian, Iraqi, Libyan, Jordanian, Afghan, Pakistani, Nigerian, Bengali, Filipino, and Kurdish of all nationalities – citizens of the countries where ISIS has established a presence.

Whether Griffin meant to elicit laughs with her cultural appropriation of Islamic State-style beheading propaganda remains unclear. On Twitter Tuesday, she alleged she was attempting to “mock” Trump. What she clearly did not intend was to highlight the suffering of the victims of this sort of violence with any dignity, earning this episode a place in the greater narrative affirmed by the likes of Chelsea Handler, Amy Schumer, and Tina Fey that the very real violence people of color face around the world is fertile ground for new material.

Handler, for instance, has notched several offenses against Africans and black Americans under her belt. In a book and subsequent television special, titled Uganda Be Kidding Me, she jokes that she and a friend believed simply being in Africa would lead to her rape. The analysis of Uganda does not go much deeper than that – the modern history of the nation’s fight against the Lord’s Resistance Army and its leader, Joseph Kony, becomes a throwaway rape joke to sell to American audiences (no thanks to the American liberals who raised money off of his name, Uganda gave up its search for Kony in April despite the terrorist’s unknown whereabouts).

During the promotional period for that special, Handler used slavery and rampant violence in eastern Africa to generate joke tweets insulting, among others, Angelina Jolie and Lupita N’yongo. While Handler has dismissed all criticism of her racial invective by claiming to be open to romantic relationships with black men, her tweets branded her a false liberal in the eyes of leftist outlets like Salon.

Actors like Amy Schumer and Tina Fey have, in much more egregious fashion, rewritten the suffering of thousands as profitable comedies. In Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, Fey took on the true story of journalist Kim Barker, on assigning in Afghanistan to cover the Taliban. Barker’s book The Taliban Shuffle, on which the film is based, is written with the suffering of the subjects in mind, while also acknowledging the dark humor of taking on as dangerous a job as a war correspondent in Pakistan and Afghanistan. As Barker herself notes in an interview, the film “Hollywoodizes” her story, adding a romantic side plot, and stripping it of the foreign policy depth her book provides (Barker says in the interview she was comfortable with this). As one review observes, the film rapidly gets glib:

A joke about Afghan men thinking that Kim “would make a handsome boy.” A joke about burqas. (Donning one for the first time, Kim exclaims, “It’s so pretty I don’t even want to vote!”) A joke about the many challenges and ironies of a Western woman navigating a Muslim country.

Another review identifies the film as outright racist, depending on “the buffoonery of Afghans” for many of its jokes.

While Whiskey Tango Foxtrot at least boasted the endorsement of the book’s author and, one could argue, was an attempt at a heartfelt statement on the absurdities of war, Amy Schumer’s recent FARC parody Snatched clearly makes no attempt to identify with the hundreds of thousands of victims of South America’s most formidable terrorist organization, the Marxist Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia – guilty of innumerable kidnappings, rapes, forced abortions, and murders. In the film, Schumer convinces her worrywart mother, played by Goldie Hawn, to travel to Ecuador, where they are soon abducted by a guerrilla and whisked into the jungles of Colombia.

Despite the liberal hero status Schumer brings to the film, critics pilloried it as racist, milking the outrageous stereotypes Colombians have been striving to shake off for the past 30 years for laughs. While Schumer did not write the film, her presence in it – as a comedian who has gone on the record calling Latin American men rapists – only exacerbates the outrage of mocking as delicate a situation as the 50+-year-old FARC conflict. The timing of the film, in the middle of Colombian leftists imposing on their people a peace deal that will turn the FARC into the wealthiest political party in Latin America, didn’t help, either.

In every one of these cases, the stars in question proceeded under the assumption that their status as feminist heroes would shield the American public from the racist opportunism present in their work. Though some leftists did condemn these works, showing ideological consistency, none of these women saw their profiles in Hollywood shrink because of their work. No mainstream director, studio, or artist has refused to work with them until they cease exploiting the suffering of non-white people to line their pockets.

Frauke Petry, who has four children, said the German chancellor was unable to ‘see beyond her own lifespan’ because she had no offspring of her own.

Merkel, 62, has never had children.

‘I have four children and Merkel has none.

In Ramadan Massacre, Egyptian Christians Killed for Refusing to Renounce Their Faith in Jesus

As more and more details emerge concerning Friday’s Ramadan attack on a busload of Christians on pilgrimage, the more it becomes evident that these 29 martyrs died solely because they were Christians.

Survivors of the attack said that the ten masked Islamic State militants did not merely open fire on the bus full of Christian pilgrims on their way to the Monastery of Saint Samuel the Confesor, but that the victims were made to descend from the bus and asked one by one whether they were Christians before being shot by the assailants.

According to one of the chaplains of the group, Father Rashed, as each pilgrim came off the bus they were asked to renounce their Christian faith and profess belief in Islam, but all of them—even the children—refused. Each was killed in cold blood with a gunshot to the head or the throat.

In a statement Friday, President Donald Trump said the “merciless slaughter of Christians in Egypt tears at our hearts and grieves our souls.”

“Wherever innocent blood is spilled, a wound is inflicted upon humanity,” the statement said. “But this attack also steels our resolve to bring nations together for the righteous purpose of crushing the evil organizations of terror, and exposing their depraved, twisted, and thuggish ideology.”

The attack occurred in the midst of a three-month state of emergency period in Egypt following twin attacks on Coptic churches on Palm Sunday last month that killed some 46 Christians who were in church honoring the celebrations. The Islamic State claimed responsibility for those attacks as well.

On Saturday, the Islamic State claimed responsibility for Friday’s slaughter through its Amaq news agency.

One Of The Oldest Communities Of The Faithful Is Under Siege — And The World Must Act

Worldwide attacks on Christians are at a level not seen since the first centuries of Christianity, as Pope Francis noted recently.

The attacks are so frequent and so deadly — which risks not just “compassion fatigue,” but indifference. A systematic genocide is occurring not just in Iraq and Syria but in Nigeria and in many other countries, which can no longer be denied. The Coptic Christian community of Egypt, which makes up about 10 percent of Egypt’s population and existed long before Islam reared its conquering head, has suffered more than most — and is now suffering again with the third attack in the last two months.

At least 26 Coptic Christians, including many children, were on their way from Cairo to Minya, to the monastery of St. Samuel to pray. They were harmless pilgrims. The Islamic State, which has claimed responsibility for previous attacks, has called the Copts their “favorite prey,” and since the Manchester attack days ago, little children seem to be particular favorites.

Much condemnation has already been expressed, the same words from the politicians after each attack; but there seems to be little outrage and even less action. World leaders do not gather in Cairo to march arm-in-arm, as they did, with a million people in Paris after the Charlie Hebdo massacre. There are no vigils for the Copts, no minutes of silence — the Copts seem to be very far away and very insignificant.

Persecuted Christians, said a senior figure in the current administration to a source of mine, have “no constituency.” If that cynical fact is true, there is only one group to blame: those who call themselves Christians, both the leadership of the church and the millions who attend divine worship each Sunday.

Most ordinary believers feel powerless to do anything and, in fact, do not know what to do. That can change — and the “constituency” can become very real and very powerful. Just weeks ago, the vice president of the United States spoke at the World Summit on Persecuted Christians, an event organized by the Rev. Franklin Graham, in Washington, D.C.

Vice President Mike Pence promised that “protecting and promoting religious liberty is a foreign-policy priority” of the Trump administration. Is there any more simple way of protecting religious liberty than allowing men, women and children to go to pray at a monastery without being slaughtered?

There are two very practical ways the protection and promotion of religious liberty can actually be a foreign-policy “priority”: money and immigration. The U.S. provides $1.3 billion each year in military aid to the Egyptian government.

Just days ago, President Trump said Egyptian President Al-Sisi was doing “a tremendous job” — but not apparently so tremendous when it comes to protecting the indigenous and ancient Christian community of his own country. Within the last week, in Saudi Arabia, Trump gave what many are calling the strongest challenge to Muslim leaders in decades.

He then signed a multimillion-dollar arms deal with the Saudis. Saudi textbooks, Saudi-trained imams and Saudi-sponsored mosques spread the most virulent and extreme form of Wahhabism. Cut the money if there is no promotion and protection of religious liberty.

Victims of genocide must be given priority to emigrate to the United States and other countries of their choice. It would, indeed, be a tragedy for Christianity to disappear from the very place it came to birth, especially Egypt — which sheltered the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph when they faced persecution. Nevertheless, it may be politically incorrect to prioritize Christians for immigration.

Yet at the judgment seat, we will not be asked whether we were politically correct. We will be asked what we did for our suffering brothers and sisters.

Franklin Graham Condemns Islam, Terror In Wake Of Manchester Attack

” I’ve got news for them…” declaring Islam “a threat to our very way of life.”

In a pair of Facebook posts following the attack that killed 22 people and injured more than 100, Graham shunned efforts by some to praise Islam while disavowing terrorists

“Islam targets the weak,” he wrote Tuesday.

“The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the horrific carnage of Monday night’s bombing in Manchester, England, targeting children, teens and their parents who were attending a concert. They’re proud of this despicable and cowardly act,” Graham wrote.

As Graham called for prayers for those injured and grieving in the wake of the attack, he also called for prayers “that God would give wisdom to our leaders in combating this and the courage to identify what it is by name — Islamic terrorism, as President Donald J. Trump has done.”

Graham said Trump “was so right when he called the Manchester Islamic terrorists ‘losers.’ The truth is, they’re losers in this world and in the next. The president said, ‘This wicked ideology must be obliterated.’”

Graham said the ideology of the terrorists is flawed.

“Jihadists following this are taught the lie that if you kill an infidel (a Christian or a Jew) and die in doing so, you will go to paradise where 70 virgins await you. I’ve got news for them: Hell awaits, with real flames and real fire,” he said.

Graham said that Muslims who want to avoid hell should be taking a different road.

“Hell is a real place — and so is Heaven, but there is only one road to Heaven. Jesus said, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me’ (John 14:6). It is my prayer that Muslims around the world will come to know the truth and put their faith in Jesus Christ and Him alone,” he wrote.

Why This G7 Nation Has No Problem With Islamic Terrorism

President Trump proposed a temporary halt on refugee resettlement from six countries known to harbor Islamic terrorists, and the U.S. establishment went into convulsions, a level of hysteria not seen over any policy ever proposed by a modern-day president.

But in Japan there is no such debate about refugees. That’s because the Asian nation has a permanent ban on refugees from Muslim countries.

John Bolton, former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, referred to the lack of a problem with terrorism in Japan in an interview Friday on Fox News.

“This [G7 meeting] is being held in Sicily. The Italians are the hosts this year. And Sicily is one of the places in Southern Europe where so many of the refugees from North Africa come,” Bolton said.

“We’ve just seen an attack in Egypt this morning on a busload of Coptic Christians by Islamic terrorists. So, I think this issue of how to deal with terrorism and how to deal with the refugee so-called problem, how to work better together in light of the Manchester attack, really this is the time to be very realistic about the threats that everybody, with the exception of Japan, around that table is facing.”

The Brits are following 3,000 terror plots now in the wake of the Manchester attack. The United States has more than 900 active ISIS investigations in all 50 states, according to former FBI Director James Comey, stretching the FBI to its limits in trying to track all of the suspected jihadists.

• Terrorism is not happening in Poland, either.

• Nor is it happening in Slovenia or Hungary.

All of these countries keep Islamic migrants out, and Hungary recently punctuated its policy by erecting a razor-wire fence along its southern border.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees has scolded Japan repeatedly over the years, trying to get the country to accept refugees, mostly Muslim, from various countries. The Japanese have steadfastly refused.

In 2016, Japan granted refugee status to only 28 people out of 10,901 applicants. In other words, 99 percent of applications were rejected.

Of the few refugees that Japan has taken in, most are non-Muslims from Burma, and, even then, Japan requires them to go through an extensive, months-long training on Japanese culture.

Poland’s prime minister, Beata Szydlo, has also refused the constant pressure from the European Union for her country to accept its “quota” Muslim refugees from the Middle East and Africa.

“Poland will not submit to any blackmail on the part of the European Union,” Szydło stated during a parliamentary debate, adding that her Central European nation would not be participating in the “madness of the Brussels elites.”

Referencing the Islamic suicide bombing that killed 22, mainly children, and injured dozens more at a pop concert in Manchester this week, the Catholic prime minister said she had the courage to call out the EU’s political elites on their “folly.”

Two Polish citizens were among those killed in Monday night’s atrocity in Manchester.

“Where are you going, Europe? Get up off your knees. Get out of your lethargy. Otherwise you will be crying every day for your children,” she warned, stating that Poland had no intention of accepting Brussels-imposed migrants.

Yet, the leaders of the Western European and U.S. governments don’t seem to be able to look at what is going on around the world and draw the conclusions that are so obvious to Japan and Poland.

“There’s a direct link between Islamic immigration and terrorist attacks,” says Ann Corcoran, editor of the Refugee Resettlement Watch blog. “As we get more Muslim immigration, we’re going to get more terror attacks. It’s like a straight-line graph. Trump should invite the prime minister of Poland to the White House. It would send a message to the wimps in Europe, it would send a message to Americans that he really does believe what he originally said during the campaign.”

Only last week, the European Commission again warned Poland of “consequences” if it continued to refuse to take in migrants from camps in Italy and Greece, a decision the previous government was set to implement. Since Szydło’s Law and Justice Party came to power in October 2015, however, Poland has refused to resettle a single migrant, infuriating Brussels.

In 2015, the EU’s Commissioner for Migration, Home Affairs and Citizenship, Dimitris Avramopoulos, discussed plans to open legal channels for the migration of a staggering 50 million migrants into Europe over the next several decades. Similar figures have previously been proposed in relation to immigration from Africa alone, with the stated goal of importing labor to make up for collapsing birth-rates across the continent.

Only days ago, a leaked German report revealed there were almost 7 million migrants ready to cross from North Africa and Turkey into Europe. Other estimates circulating put the number of those on the point of embarking on the journey in the tens of millions.

Corcoran pointed out in a recent post that the United Nations doesn’t seem to pester communist and Islamic countries that refuse to accept Muslim migrants.

“The U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees has been haranguing Japan for years to open its doors (and begin diluting their culture) to the masses of Middle Eastern and African (mostly Muslim) migrants on the move around the world,” Corcoran writes. “I have not seen the UNHCR harangue China, Saudi Arabia or some other Middle Eastern countries in the same way they nag Japan.”

The Martyrs brought in the church then the procession is a joyous one. While some in the West might see these scenes as foreign to them, I remind; being made in God’s image and likeness means that we have within ourselves the creative nature of God. Copts bow to the martyrs. They make icons of them.

Yet I have people comment that icons and bowing are acts of worship.

I chuckle at such statements from people who are oblivious to the Bible. God creates, so we create and is why God required the Israelites to make 3-d icons of angels on the Ark and even Joshua bowed face down towards it:

Joshua and the elders of Israel tore their clothing in dismay, threw dust on their heads, and bowed face down to the ground before the Ark of the LORD until evening (Joshua 7:6).

If bowing was worship, why then when two angels approach Lot in the gateway of the city of Sodom, Lot sees them and he “bowed with his face to the ground.”

No objection from the angel. Why? Because you are supposed to bow.

“When Abigal saw David, she quickly got off her donkey and bowed down before David with her face to the ground. She fell at his feet.”

And I ask; did Lot get rebuke from the angels? Did David rebuke Abigal?

NEVER.

“Then the Lord opened Balaam’s eyes, and he saw the angel of the Lord standing in the road with his sword drawn. So he bowed low and fell facedown” (Numbers 22:31).

No rebuke.

I can show several examples.

There are even verses that speak of human statues and God ordered it (hint, its in Ezekiel’s temple).

This alone blows away all what the scoffers say. Every day I read poorly written comments and its sad.

But will these people heed? I guess not. Why? Because perhaps they are tares. A tare thinks its wheat. Us saying this diminishes our donations, but who cares.

People kiss the hand of the priest and the priest washed my feet.

Is that an act of worship? No.

“May nations serve you and peoples bow down to you.” (Gen 27:29)

There are a ton of verses that debunk these claims:

“The company of the prophets from Jericho, who were watching, said, ‘The spirit of Elijah is resting on Elisha.’ And they went to meet him and bowed to the ground before him.”

“When Bathsheba went to King Solomon to speak to him for Adonijah, the king stood up to meet her, bowed down to her and sat down on his throne.”

So what say the tare? Are these so westernized that they lost the postures of respect, honor and duty?

Did they forget “blessed are the meek and humble at heart”?

The issue is not scripture, the issue is the lack of desire to search the scripture.

So likewise, all of these martyrs are icons of Christ, just like all of the martyrs of old who were depicted in Christendom’s paintings.

But in the West many object to having icons of martyrs. Where are the statues of the martyrs, where are the paintings of their contests, over which they conquered and for which they received their crowns of glory?

EVERYONE HAS ICONS. Why do we have statues of presidents, politicians, feminists and explorers, yet we do not dare inundate the society with the images that would reminds us of the most important thing? that is, the realization that we are not here for ourselves, that our “bodies are members of Christ” (1 Corinthians 6:15), that “you are not your own” (1 Corinthians 6:19), that we are given a destiny that breaks through the physical, the beautiful purpose to stand in the midst of this capricious world, as a beacon of order, as an exemplifier of harmony, as a living candle that shines with the unseen light that repulses the infernal spirits naked to the eye, and pulls in those whose souls are parched by the waves of the watery abyss, into the bright rays of the Holy Cross, so that we can say with the Gospel, “people who sat in darkness have seen a great light, And upon those who sat in the region and shadow of death Light has dawned.” (Matthew 4:16) It is that sublime purpose, to be an icon.

As icons, we fight the idols by creating beautiful art, art that teaches the Faith through wonder and majesty. Look to the Church, and you will see beautiful paintings and images of Crosses. Oh, how the devil’s hate such art, because they — with their immaculate imagery — instill in us a sense of Christian identity, and constantly remind us that we are in Christ, and are not to be dictated by the trends of this world. This is why the wicked and evil atheists and Muslims are always pushing for governments to censor any sort of Christian imagery and expression. They want us to be devoid of icons, to forget our hope, and to place our faith in idolatry of the self. I have heard people say that crosses, church bells, Christian paintings and statues, are idols.

But the hatred against the icons is the real idolatry. For to make a society devoid of Christian imagery, is to enable the enemy to replace the icons with true idols, with the worship of celebrities, of buildings, of politicians, of false prophets. Man, by his very nature, venerates. Take away the icons and he will venerate himself, he will venerate other men, he will venerate Mammon, he will venerate the devil. But restore the holy icons and you will see Christendom revive. The icons will be everywhere, and even the least religious person will see it and feel within himself a small measure of awe, enough to compel him to express his gratitude to the One Who died for Him. Embellish the earth with holy icons, and man will be reminded of what is sacred, man will come to contemplation, and with contemplation comes wonder and inspiration, and from this does the person know that he is but an icon himself, a window into Heaven, who is to shine so brightly that men will worship their Father in Heaven.

በበዓለ ዕርገት ሊቃውንቱ ሌሊት በማኅሌት፣ በዝማሬ እግዚአብሔርን ሲያመሰግኑ ያድራሉ፡፡ ሥርዓተ ማኅሌቱ እንዳበቃ የሚሰበከው የነግህ ምስባክም፡– ‹‹ዘምሩ ለእግዚአብሔር ዘዐርገ ውስተ ሰማይ ሰማይ ዘመንገለ ጽባሕ ናሁ ይሁብ ቃሎ ቃለ ኃይል›› የሚለው የዳዊት መዝሙር ሲኾን፣ ቀጥተኛ ትርጕሙ፡– ‹‹በምሥራቅ በኩል ወደ ሰማየ ሰማያት ለወጣ (ላረገ) ለእግዚአብሔር ዘምሩ፤ የኀይል የኾነውን ቃሉን እነሆ ይሰጣል፤›› ማለት ነው (መዝ.፷፯፥፴፫)፡፡ ምሥጢራዊ ትርጕሙ ደግሞ ‹‹ነፍሳትን ይዞ ከሲኦል ወደ ገነት ለወጣ፤ አንድም በደብረ ዘይት በኩል ላረገ ለእግዚአብሔር ምስጋና አቅርቡ›› የሚል መልእክት አለው፡፡ እንደዚሁም ጌታችን በዐረገ በዐሥረኛው ቀን ‹የኀይል ቃል› የተባለ መንፈስ ቅዱስን ለሐዋርያት እንደ ላከላቸው፤ በተጨማሪም ጌታችን በሕያዋን እና በሙታን (በጻድቃን እና በኃጥአን) ላይ ለመፍረድ ዳግም እንደሚመጣ፤ እኛም ይህንን የጌታችንን የማዳን ሥራ እያደነቅን ለእርሱ ምስጋና፣ ዝማሬ ማቅረብ እንደሚገባን ያስረዳናል – ምስባኩ፡፡

በነግህ (ከቅዳሴ በፊት የሚነበበው) ወንጌል ደግሞ ሉቃስ ፳፬፥፵፭ እስከ መጨረሻው ድረስ ያለው ኃይለ ቃል ነው፡፡ ቃሉም ጌታችን አምላካችንና መድኀኒታችን ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ከሰማየ ሰማያት እንደሚወርድ፣ የሰውን ልጅ ለማዳን ሲል መከራ እንደሚቀበል፣ እንደሚሞት፣ ከሙታን ተለይቶ እንደሚነሣ፣ ወደ ሰማይ እንደሚያርግና ዳግም እንደሚመጣ በነቢያት የተነገረው ትንቢት መፈጸሙን፤ ለዚህም ቅዱሳን ሐዋርያት ምስክሮች መኾናቸውን ማለትም በመላው ዓለም እየዞሩ ስለ ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ የማዳን ሥራ እንዲሰብኩና በሰማዕትነት እንዲያልፉ፤ እንደዚሁም ሰማያዊ ሀብትንና ዕውቀትን እስኪያገኙ ድረስ በኢየሩሳሌም እንዲቆዩ መታዘዛቸውን ያስረዳል (ትርጓሜ ወንጌል)፡፡ ይህ ምሥጢር ለጊዜው የሐዋርያትን ተልእኮ የሚመለከት ይኹን እንጂ ለፍጻሜው ግን ዅላችንም ቅዱሳት መጻሕፍት የተናገሩትን ቃል አብነት አድርገን የእግዚአብሔርን ሰው መኾንና የማዳኑን ሥራ አምነን፣ ሌሎችንም በማሳመን በሃይማኖታችን ጸንተን መኖር እንደሚገባን፤ እግዚአብሔር አምላካችን ኃይሉን፣ ጸጋውን፣ ረድኤቱን እንዲያሳድርብንም ከቅድስት ቤተ ክርስቲያን መለየት እንደሌለብን የሚያስገነዝብ መልእክት አለው፡፡

በቅዳሴ ጊዜ የሚነበቡ የመጽሐፍ ቅዱስ ክፍሎችም ከቅዱስ ጳውሎስ መልእክት ዕብራውያን ፩፥፩ እስከ ፍጻሜው ድረስ፤ ከሌሎች መልእክታት ደግሞ ፩ኛ ጴጥሮስ ፫፥፲፰ እስከ ፍጻሜው፤ የሐዋርያት ሥራ ፩፥፩–፲፪ ሲኾኑ፣ ምስባኩም ‹‹ዐርገ እግዚአብሔር በይባቤ ወእግዚእነ በቃለ ቀርን ዘምሩ ለአምላክነ ዘምሩ›› የሚለው ነው፡፡ ትርጕሙም ‹‹በዕልልታና በመለከት ድምፅ ላረገ ለአምላካችን፣ ለጌታችንና ለመድኀኒታችን ለኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ምስጋና አቅርቡ›› ማለት ነው (መዝ.፵፮፥፭–፮)፡፡ ወንጌሉ ደግሞ፣ ማርቆስ ፲፮፥፲፬ እስከ ፍጻሜ ድረስ ሲኾን ቃሉም በነግህ ከተነበበው የወንጌል ክፍል ቃል ተመሳሳይነት አለው፡፡ ቅዳሴውም ቅዳሴ ዲዮስቆሮስ ሲኾን ይህ ቅዳሴ ከሦስቱ አካላት አንዱ የኾነውን የእግዚአብሔር ወልድን (የኢየሱስ ክርስቶስን) ዘለዓለማዊነት የሚያስረዳ፤ ሥጋዌዉን፣ ሕማሙን፣ ሞቱን፣ ትንሣኤዉን፣ ዕርገቱንና ዳግም ምጽአቱንም የሚናገር በመኾኑ በዘመነ ትንሣኤ፣ በዘመነ ዕርገትና በበዓለ ኀምሳ ሰሙን ይቀደሳል፡፡

ቅዱስ ዲዮስቆሮስ በቅዳሴዉ መጀመሪያ ላይ ሀልዎተ እግዚአብሔርንና ምሥጢረ ሥላሴን መሠረት በማድረግ ለእግዚአብሔር ምስጋና ካቀረበ በኋላ፣ ቍጥር ፴፩ ላይ ‹‹… ወበ፵ ዕለት አመ የዐርግ ሰማየ አዘዞሙ እንዘ ይብል ጽንሑ ተስፋሁ ለአብ፤ … ከሙታን ተለይቶ በተነሣ በዐርባኛው ቀን በብርሃን፣ በሥልጣን፣ በይባቤ ወደ ሰማይ በሚያርግበት ጊዜ አብ የሚሰድላችሁ መንፈስ ቅዱስን እስክትቀበሉ ድረስ ከዚህ ቆዩ ብሎ አዘዛቸው፤›› በማለት መጽሐፍ ቅዱሳዊ በኾነ ቋንቋ የጌታችንን ወደ ሰማይ ማረግና ለሐዋርያት የሰጠውን አምላካዊ ትእዛዝ ይናገራል (ሉቃ.፳፬፥፵፱)፡፡
