Muslims Are Most Disliked Group In America, Says New Study

Muslims are the most disapproved group in America, according to a new study, amid increasing anti-Muslim rhetoric from conservative politicians.

A new study from sociologists at the University of Minnesota, which analysed Americans’ perceptions of minority faith and racial groups, found that their disapproval of Muslims has almost doubled from about 26 per cent 10 years ago to 45.5 per cent in 2016.

Amid increasing focus on immigration, refugees and national security and in the wake of multiple terrorist attacks around the world, the study found that almost half of those surveyed would not want their child to marry a Muslim, compared to just 33.5 per cent of people a decade earlier.

The report found that anti-Muslim violence spiked after the attacks on the Twin Towers in 2001, as did attacks on Sikh Americans, who are often confused with Muslim Americans.

“Even the generally tolerant millennials exhibit relatively strong anti-Muslim sentiments,” the report read.

Hussein Rashid, a professor at Barnard College in New York, told Religion News that the spike in intolerance is reflected by current political rhetoric.

“In 10 years, people have a more negative perception of Muslims, Jews, gays, Latinos, and Blacks,” he said.

One interesting unique characteristic of the muslim mind-set, apart from ingratitude and a sense of entitlement, is that even after their barbarism against themselves and non-muslims, they shout ‘ islamophobia ‘ when these acts are covered by the media and the media is considered the main issue rather than the acts. It is as if allah has given a carte blanche for violence and destruction and to report and feel disgust is going against alllah’s will being carried out.

If theres muslims in the country there is conflict. India has had issues with Muslims for a millennia, Buddhists do now in burma, the Chinese are clever, they drove them out and didn’t let them back in.

Japan being an Island never let them in period.

Muslims…some sort of parasites…they do one thing only…to change all lands into a misery..europe next….good job americans…u just wake up.

One does wonder why the Western nations keep granting stay to these arrogant humans.

በቤተ ክርስቲያናችን በየዓመቱ መስከረም ፲ ቀን ከሚዘከሩ በዓላት መካከል የእመቤታችን በዓል አንደኛው ሲኾን ይኸውም ጼዴንያ በምትባል አገር ከሥዕሏ ተአምር የተደረገበት ዕለት ነው፡፡ በተአምረ ማርያምና በመጽሐፈ ስንክሳር እንደ ተመዘገበው ቅዱስ ሉቃስ ከሣላት ሥጋ የለበሰች ከምትመስል የእመቤታችን የሥዕል ሠሌዳ ቅባት ይንጠፈጠፍ ነበር፡፡

እመቤታችን ድንግል ማርያምን የምትወድና በሚቻላትም ኹሉ የምታገለግላት፣ ቤቷንም ለእንግዳ ማደሪያ ያደረገች አንዲት ማርታ የምትባል ሴት ነበረች፡፡ ከዕለታት አንድ ቀን አባ ቴዎድሮስ የሚባሉ መነኵሴ ከእርሷ ዘንድ በእንግድነት አድረው በማግሥቱ ከቤቷ ሲወጡ ማርታ የሚሔዱበትን አገር በጠየቀቻቸው ጊዜ እርሳቸውም ወደ ኢየሩሳሌም ሔደው ቅዱሳት መካናትን እንደሚሳለሙ ነገሯት፡፡

ማርታም ከእርሷ ገንዘብ ወስደው የእመቤታችንን ሥዕል ገዝተው ይዘውላት እንዲመጡ ለመነቻቸው፡፡ መነኵሴውም በራሳቸው ገንዘብ ሥዕሉን ገዝተው እንደሚያመጡላት ቃል ገቡላት፡፡ አባ ቴዎድሮስ ኢየሩሳሌም ደርሰው ቅዱሳት መካናትን ከተሳለሙ በኋላ ሥዕሏን ሳይገዙ ወደ አገራቸው ተመለሱ፡፡ ያን ጊዜም ‹‹ሥዕል መግዛትን ለምን ረሳህ?›› የሚል የሚያስደነግጥ ቃልን ሰምተው ወደ ገበያ ተመልሰው መልኳ ያማረና የተወደደ የእመቤታችን ማርያምን ሥዕል ገዝተው በሐርና በንጹሕ ልብስ ጠቅልለው ይዘው እየተጓዙ ሳሉ ከሚያስፈራ ዱር ውስጥ ሲደርሱ ወንበዴዎች ተነሡባቸው፡፡ ሊሸሹ ሲሉም ‹‹መንገድህን ሒድ›› የሚል ቃል ከሥዕሏ ወጣ፤ መነኵሴውም መንገዳቸውን በሰላም ተጓዙ፡፡ ሁለተኛም አንበሳ ሊበላቸው በተነሣባቸው ጊዜ ከዚያች ሥዕል የሚያሥፈራ ድምፅ ወጥቶ አንበሳውን አባረረላቸው፡፡

አባ ቴዎድሮስ ይህን ኹሉ ድንቅ ተአምር ባዩ ጊዜም ያቺን ሥዕል ለማርታ ከመስጠት ይልቅ ወደ አገራቸው ሊወስዷት ወደዱ፡፡ በመርከብ ተሳፍረው በሌላ አቅጣጫ ሲሔዱም ታላቅ ነፋስ ተነሥቶ ወደ ማርታ አገር ወደ ጼዴንያ ወሰዳቸው፡፡ ከመርከብም ወርደው ከብዙ እንግዶች ጋር ወደዚያች መበለት ቤት ደረሱ፡፡ ነገር ግን ማንነታቸውን ለማርታ አልገለጡላትም፤ እርሷም አላወቀቻቸውም ነበር፡፡

በማግሥቱም ተሠውረው ወደ አገራቸው ሊሔዱ ሲሉ የቅፅሩ ደጃፍ ጠፍቶባቸው ሲፈልጉ ዋሉ፤ በመሸባቸው ጊዜም ወደ ማደሪያቸው ተመለሱ፡፡ ማታ ማታ በሩን ያዩታል፤ ነግቶ መሔድን ሲሹ ግን የበሩ መንገድ ይሠወርባቸዋል፡፡ እንዲህም ኾነው እስከ ሦስት ቀን ድረስ ቆዩ፡፡ ማርታም ‹‹አባቴ ሆይ አእምሮህ ተነክቷልን? ስትቅበዘበዝ አይሃለሁና ምን ኾነህ ነው?›› ሰትል ጠየቀቻችው፡፡ እርሳቸውም ከእመቤታችን ሥዕል የተደረገውን ተአምር ኹሉ ነገሯት፤ ራሳቸውንም ገለጡላትና ሥዕሏን ሰጧት፡፡ እርሷም የእመቤታችንን ሥዕል ተቀብላ የተጠቀለለችበትን ልብስ በፈታችው ጊዜ ወዝ ከሥዕሊቱ ሲንጠፈጠፍ አገኘች፡፡ ከደስታዋ ብዛት የተነሣም የአባ ቴዎድሮስን እጃቸውንና እግራቸውን ሳመች፡፡

ከዚህም በኋላ ያቺን ሥዕል ወደ ጸሎት ቤቷ ወስዳ በታላቅ ክብር አኖረቻት፡፡ ማንም እንዳይዳስሳትም የነሐስ መስኮትን ሠራችላት፡፡ በቀንና በሌሊትም የሚያበሩ መቅረዞችን በፊቷ ሰቀለች፤ ከመቅረዞች ውጭም የሐር መጋረጃን ጋረደች፡፡ ከሥዕሊቱ በታችም እየተንጠፈጠፈ የሚወርደው የወዝ ቅባት የሚጠራቀምበት ከዕብነ በረድ የተሠራ ወጭት አኖረች፡፡ እኒያ መነኰስም እስከሚሞቱበት ቀን ድረስ የእመቤታችን ድንግል ማርያምን ሥዕል እያገለገሉ ኖሩ፡፡

የአገሩ ሊቀ ጳጳስም የእመቤታችን ሥዕል ሥጋ የለበሰች ኹና ባገኙና ተአምሯንም በተመለከቱ ጊዜ ከዚህ አምላካዊ ግብር የተነሣ አደነቁ፡፡ ከሥዕሏ ከሚንጠባጠበው ቅባት ቀድተው ለበረከት ሲካፈሉም ወዲያውኑ በወጭቱ ውስጥ መላ፡፡ ሥዕሊቱን ወደ ሌላ ቦታም ሊወስዷት በፈለጉ ጊዜም ንውጽውጽታ ኾኖ ብዙዎች በድንጋጤ ወደቁ፡፡ ሥዕሊቱም እስከ ዛሬ ድረስ በዚያች አገር (በጼዴንያ) ትገኛለች፡፡

‹‹እግዚአብሔር በቅዱሳኑ ላይ ድንቅ ነው›› ተብሎ እንደ ተጻፈ /መዝ.፷፯፥፴፭/ እግዚአብሔር አምላካችን በልዩ ልዩ መንገድ ለሰው ልጅ ተአምራቱን ይገልጣል፡፡ በመጽሐፍ ቅዱስ ተመዝግቦ እንደምናገኘው እግዚአብሔር ከዓለት ላይ ውኃ እያፈለቀ ሕዝቡን ያጠጣል፡፡ ከግዑዝ ዓለት ውስጥ ውኃ የሚያፈልቅ አምላክ ከሥጋዋ ሥጋ፤ ከነፍሷ ነፍስ ተዋሕዶ ካከበራት ከቅድስት ድንግል ማርያም ሥዕል ወዝ እንዲፈስ ቢያደርግ ምን ይሳነዋል? እንደዚሁም ቅዱሳን ሐዋርያት በቃላቸውም፣ በልብሳቸውም፣ በጥላቸውም ሙታንን በማስነሣት፤ ሕሙማንን በመፈወስ ተአምራትን ያደርጉ ነበር፡፡ ለምሳሌ ቅዱስ ጴጥሮስ በጥላው፤ ቅዱስ ጳውሎስም በልብሱ ቅዳጅ ያደርጓቸው የነበሩ ተአምራትን መጥቀስ ይቻላል፡፡

ሐዋርያት ከእግዚአብሔር ዘንድ በተሰጣቸው ጸጋ በልብሳቸውና በሰውነታቸው ጥላ ተአምራትን ማድረግ እንደ ተቻላቸው ኹሉ አምላክን በማኅፀኗ የተሸከመችው ወላዲተ አምላክ ቅድስት ድንግል ማርያምም በሥዕሏ ወዝ ብዙ ሕሙማንን መፈወስ ይቻላታል፡፡ ከቅዱሳን ልብስና ጥላ የእርሷ ሥዕል ይከብራልና፡፡ ስለዚህም ነው በየዓመቱ መስከረም ፲ ቀን በቤተ ክርስቲያናችን በድምቀት የሚከበረው፡፡ የእመቤታችን የቅድስት ድንግል ማርያም አማላጅነት፤ የልጇ፣ የወዳጇ የጌታችን የመድኀኒታችን የኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ቸርነት አይለየን፡፡
