Pope REFUSES to Accept Charity Donation of 16,666,000 Pesos Because it Includes 666 – The Number of The Devil

The Pope has refused a donation of 16,666,000 pesos from the President of Argentina because it contained 666, the so-called number of the Devil.
Pope Francis, a former Archbishop of Buenos Aires, has traditionally supported progressive causes in his native Argentina and does not naturally see eye-to-eye with President Mauricio Macri, who was elected on a right-wing market-oriented ticket.
The Pope has been unimpressed by some of the austerity measures introduced by President Macri, including 500 per cent rises in domestic electricity prices and 100 per cent increases in transport fares, which have both hit poor Argentinians hard.
President Macri made the donation earlier this month, shortly after actors George Clooney, Richard Gere and Salma Hayek had agreed to be ambassadors for the charity.
But the Vatican Insider, which specialises in papal affairs, reported that Pope Francis wrote to the Argentinian branch of the foundation, asking them to return the money.
In a postcript, he reportedly wrote: ‘I don’t like the 666.’
