Easter ‘Blood Moon’ to Turn sky Red This Weekend – But Was it Predicted in The Bible?

Posted by addisethiopia / አዲስ ኢትዮጵያ on April 2, 2015

Saturday’s total lunar eclipse, which will turn the moon a burnt reddish orange, will be visible in in the skies of North America, Asia and Australia

— It’s the third blood moon in the ‘Tetrad’ that will end in September

—  Red moons are predicted in the Bible and signify important events

— Experts predict the rare phenomenon will be visible in the skies between Friday and Sunday and one US pastor believes it could be a sign of Christ’s return

The moon is set to turn a sinister-looking blood red this Easter weekend.

The total lunar eclipse will transform the moon on Saturday night and will be visible in the skies of North America, Asia and Australia.

According to one US pastor, the event was predicted in the Bible and hints at an imminent world-changing event, but Nasa is quick to point out that the change in hue is entirely harmless.

The eclipse is the third in a series of four blood moons, with the final one expected on September 28.

Pastor John Hagee told The Mirror that the sight suggests a world-changing event will take place, as predicted in the Bible.

According to the King James Bible: ‘The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the Lord comes.’

Mr Hagee, who has written a book on the Tetrad called ‘Four Blood Moons’, said that because the Blood Moon falls on Easter Weekend, it’s a sign that ‘something dramatic will happen which will change the whole world’.

The event is called a Tetrad since it involves four successive total blood red lunar eclipses each followed by six full moons.

I believe we’re going to see something dramatic happen in the Middle East involving Israel that will change the course of history in the Middle East and impact the whole world,’ he said.

The strange celestial sight, which will be visible in the US, was predicted in the Bible and could hint at a world-changing event, such as the return of Christ, according to one pastor. This image shows the red moon over a church in LA during the last blood moon in October last year

There are numerous mentions of blood moons in the Bible, such as in the Book of Joel, chapter two, which says the ‘Day of the Lord will be as when the sun refuses to shine’ and in Luke, which hints that signs in the sun, moon and stars will tell of the second coming.

While the Bible prophesises blood moons, it does not give a timeline of when the significant event will happen.

Mr Hagee said: ‘It just says “when you see these signs” – and four blood moons is a very significant one – ‘”the end of this age is coming.”’

While the event may be of huge religious significance to some people, for others it will simply be a chance to see something beautiful light up the night sky.

The lunar eclipse will occur when the moon passes behind the Earth, into its shadow.

During the eclipse, the moon often looks reddish because sunlight has passed through Earth’s atmosphere, which filters out most of its blue light,’ Nasa said.

This eerie, harmless effect has earned the tongue-in-cheek nickname “blood moon”’

The ‘Tetrad’ of four alignments within two years, happens just a few times in every 2,000 years.

TheCrossChainTetradThe final blood moon of the Tetrad will occur on September 28 and there will be nine sets of them in the 21st century.

But Nasa has previously said that the Tetrad only happened three times in the past 500 years.

From 1600 to 1900, for example, there were none at all.

According to Mr Hagee, each time the Tetrad has happened during that time, there has been a significant religious event accompanied with it.

In 1493, the first Tetrad saw the expulsion of Jews by the Catholic Spanish Inquisition.

The second happened in 1949, right after the State of Israel was founded.

And the most recent one, in 1967, happened during the Six-Day War between Arabs and Israelis.

— The first of the Tetrad blood moons happened on April 15, right in the middle of the Jewish holiday of Passover.

— The second, on October 8, occurred during the Feast of the Tabernacle.— The third, this Saturday is also occurring during Passover and on Easter –weekend.

— The final one happens on September 28, 2015, during the Feast of the Tabernacles.

Act of God? Crucifixion Cross for Jesus Christ Blown Down on Exeter Cathedral Green

Posted by addisethiopia / አዲስ ኢትዮጵያ on April 2, 2015

Crucifixion crossIt may have been a divine act, or perhaps the result of soft ground.

A wooden cross installed on Exeter’s Cathedral Green for a re-enactment of Jesus Christ’s crucifixion has been blown over.

The central cross of three erected on the grass for the Good Friday Passion play came down in gale-force conditions on Monday night.

The concrete footing of the structure also cracked as it tumbled to the ground.

Adrian Jackson, 40, who is directing the Walk of Witness, said the cast and crew were looking forward to “sharing the Easter story” – despite having a few problems to solve beforehand.

It’s been quite intense this year, but also fun,” he said.

Hundreds of people are expected to watch the annual dramatisation of Christ’s death and resurrection.

Mr Jackson said: “It’s a good opportunity to tell the complete story in a public place. Many people don’t fully understand that story, so it’s a good chance for them to realise why we celebrate Easter.”

A ‘service of unity’ will take place in Exeter Cathedral at 10am – enabling people to worship and hear a Christian message – before the Biblical scenes unfold outside.

The main action will take place on the green and a procession will go down the High Street.

Hot cross buns will be handed-out after the play.

Members of various interdenominational churches in the city are working together to stage the play.

The Erta Ale Lava Lake: The Doorway To Hell

Posted by addisethiopia / አዲስ ኢትዮጵያ on April 2, 2015

For a fire is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains.[Deuteronomy 32:22]

The agents of the Saudi serpent – who just separated Muslims and shot the Christians dead at the Kenyan university will soon be thrown into this pit of hell, the bottomless pit, unto Abyss along with every unsaved sinner. They call us “Abyssinia”, after all! By the way, will President Obama this afternoon give more attention to the ongoing genocide of Christians in the land of his father than to the shakmat games of the Mullahs of Iran and the Saudi Sheicks?

Ethiopia’s Erta Ale is the world’s oldest continuously active lava lake

The word Hell appears 54 times in the King James Bible, and in every place that it appears it says the same thing. Hell is a place of torment, trouble, and it is filled with an eternal burning that can never be quenched.

The prophet Isaiah tells us that in the Millennial Reign of the Messiah, Jesus Christ, there will actually be an open doorway in Jerusalem that will allow inhabitants of the Earth to see inside of Hell:

And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.” [Isaiah 66:24]

So it is with great fascination that we present to you today the place that is called the Doorway To Hell on Earth, Erta Ale in Ethiopia.

Photographer Tupy, 35, says he feared his camera would melt from the overwhelming heat of the lava as he captured the daunting scenes of the 150-ft wide basalt volcano.

The view is simply staggering,’ said the 35-year-old. ‘Lava inside the volcano is constantly moving, bubbling and bursting.’ ‘The heat was immense, when I got to an edge of the crater, it was unbearable. After couple of seconds, my facial skin was so hot, I had to get away.

There was even a point where I was afraid my camera was going to melt.’

The lava lake was so intense, and so hot that the photographer could not take it for more than a few seconds up close. How much worse will the actual Hell be for those who find themselves there 30 seconds after they die?

Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: “ [Matthew 25:41]

Oh, I know death doesnt “scare you” now. Not now while you’re healthy, life is good and death seems so far off and remote. But as sure as the sun rises, your end will arrive, and so much sooner than you think. And as you step out into a Christ-less eternity and realize, too late, that your sins are still unpaid for, you WILL come face to face with the Jesus you think you don’t need now. And in THAT day, as you have rejected Him here, He will also reject you there. And you will burn beyond the end of forever, with no one to hear your cries.
