ባለፈው ማክሰኞ፡ የአሜሪካው ከፍተኛ (ጠቅላይ) ፍርድ ቤት፡ የምርጫ መብትን በሚመለከት፡ ምናልባት አፍሪቃ–አሜሪካዊንን ሊጎዳ የሚችል የሕግ–ቀልባሽ ሕግ አጸደቀ። ይህ ታሪካዊ እርምጃ ብዙም ትኩረት አላገኘም። ብዙ ትኩረት ያገኘው የሰዶማውያን ‘ጋብቻ‘ ሕጋዊ ለማድረግ ከዚህ በፊት የነበረውን ሕግ ለማፍረስ የወጣው አዲስ ቅሌታማ ሕግ ነበር። ይህን በሰው ልጆች እና በተፍጥሮ ላይ የታወጀውን ዘመቻ ከሚደግፉት ተቀዳሚ ባለሥልጣኖች መካከል ፕሬዚደንት ኦባማ ይገኙበታል፡ ወደ አፍሪቃም ሄደው፡ በ ቦኮ ሃራም እጅ ለሚወድቁት ክርስቲያን አፍሪቃውያን ሳይሆን የሰዶማውያን ተቆርቋሪ ሆነው ይታያሉ። ሉሲፈራውያን: የአፍሪቃ–አሜሪካውያን የእኩልነት መብት ትግልን በግብረ–ሰዶማውያን አጀንዳ እየቀጩ፡ ዘረኝነትን በ ‘ሆሞፎቢያ‘ በመተካት ላይ ናቸው! ከዚህ ቀደም: የዓለም ማሕበረሰብ የዘረኝነት ጉዳይ በሚመለከት ለመነጋገር በደቡብ አፍሪቃዋ ደርባን ሲሰበሰብ፣ ርዕሱን በመጥለፍ የመካከለኛው ምስራቅን ወደሚመለከት ስብሰባ በተደጋጋሚ መቀየራቸው የሚታወስ ነው።

ፕሬዚደንት ኦባማ የመጀመሪያው “አፍሪቃ–አሜሪካዊ” ፕሬዚደንት ተብለው ወደ ነጩ ቤት ለመግባት ሲበቁ፡ አልፎ አልፎ እንግዳ የሆነው ጠባያቸው ጥርጣሬ ካሳደረባቸው ግለሰቦች መካከል አንዱ ነበርኩ። ላለፉት ጥቂት ዘመናት የአሜሪካን ፕሬዚደንቶች እና የውጭ ጉዳይ ሚንስትሮች የሚመርጠው በእንግሊዟ ለንደን ተቀማጭነት ያለውና የ ‘ንጉሣዊው የውጭ ጉዳይ ኢንስቲቲውት‘ ወይም ‘ቻትሃም ሃውስ‘ በመባል የሚታወቀው በሥልጣኑ ከፍተኛ ተሰሚነት ያለው ድርጅት እንደሆነ ይታወቃል።

የአፍሪቃዊ ዝርያ ያላቸው ፕሬዚደንት ኦባማ ሥልጣን ላይ የወጡበት ምክኒያት ምስጢራውያኑ የዓለማችን ገዢዎች በአሜሪካ ብሎም በዓለማችን ላይ አለመረጋጋትን፣ ብጥብጥን ወይም ምስቅልቅላዊ ሁኔታዎችን ለመፍጠር የሚያስችሏቸውን አመቺ ግለሰብ በማግኝታቸው እንደሆነ አሁን የምናየው ነው። አፍሪቃ–አሜሪካዊ በመሆናቸው፡ አንድ ጥቁር ለፕሬዚደንትነት በመብቃቱ፣ ጥቁር አሜሪካውያን ለረጅም ጊዜ ሲያካሄዱት የነበረው የሰውን ልጆች መብት የሚያስከብርውን ንቅናቄ እንዲያቆሙ ከፍተኛ ሚና ተጫውቷል። በትናንትናው ዕለት የወጣውን ሕግ ለመቃወም ምንም ዓይነት የተቃውሞ እንቅስቃሴ በጥቁሮች ዘንድ አለመታየቱ ንቅናቄያቸው ባቋራጭ መቀጨቱን ነው የሚያሳየው።

በሌላ በኩል ደግሞ፡ አፍሪቃን በሚመለከት ነጮች በግልጽ ማድረግ የማይችሉትን አፍሪቃ– አሜሪካዊው ኦባማ ማድረግ ይችላሉ፤ አፍሪቃውያኑን ቸል በማለት ለአረቡ ተቆርቁረው፣ በዓለማችን ላይ አካል የመቁረጥና አንገት የመቅላት ዕርምጃዎችን በይፋ የምትወስደውን ብቸኛ አገር፤ ሳዑዲ ዓረቢያን ይጎበኛሉ፣ ለጨካኙ ልዑሏም ይሰግዳሉ፣ ወደ አዲስ አበባ ሳይሆን፣ ወደ ካይሮ፣ ጂዳ እና ጃካርታ መሄዱን ይመርጣሉ፣ ለነዋሪዎቻቸውም ልባዊ የትብብርና የድጋፍ ምልክቶችን ያሳያሉ።

ከአራት ዓመታት በፊት፡ በጥድፊያ ልጆቻቸውንና ሱቆቻቸውን ‘ኦባማ‘ በማለት ሲሰይሙ የነበሩት አፍሪቃውያን አሁን ይህን መራራ ሃቅ በመገንዘባቸው፡ የአሁኑን የፕሬዚደንት ኦባማን የአፍሪቃ ጉብኝት እንደ ቀልድ አድርገው ነው የሚቆጥሩት። ፕሬዚደንት ኦባማ በአገራቸውና በተቀረው ዓለም ተወዳጅነት እያጡ በመጡበት በዚህ ጊዜ ምንም ያላደረጉላትን አፍሪቃን ‘እንደምን አደርሽ?” ቢሏት ዋጋ የለውም።

ባለፈው በ2012 ዓ.ም አፍሪቃ 4 መሪዎቿን በሞት አጥታለች። አንድ ክፍለ ዓለም በአጭር ጊዜ ውስጥ 4 ርዕሰ ብሔሮቹን ሲያጣ በታሪክ ለመጀመሪያ ጊዜ ነው። እንዲያውም፡ ከ 2008 ዓ.ም አንስቶ በመላው ዓለም 13 የአገር መሪዎች ሥልጣን ላይ እያሉ ሕይወታቸው አልፏል፤ ከነዚህም ውስጥ 10ሩ አፍሪቃውያን መሪዎች ነበሩ። በ4 ዓመት ውስጥ 10 መሪዎች! ባለፈው ዓመት ላይ ያረፉት እነዚህ፣ የኢትዮጵያ፣ የማላዊ፣ የጋና እና የጊኒ–ቢሳው መሪዎች ሕይወታቸው ያረፈው ከፕሬዚደንት ኦባማ ጋር ከተገናኙ ከጥቂት ጊዚያት በኋላ ነበር። በእውነት ይህ በጣም አሳሳቢ ጉዳይ ሊሆን ይገባዋል!

ፕሬዚደንት ኦባም በመጪው ሰንበት በደቡብ አፍሪቃ የ ‘ካይሮ‘ 2009 ዓ.ም ዓይነት ንግግር ለዓፍሪቃ ያሰማሉ ተብሏል። ልዑል እግዚአብሔር ኔልሰን ማንዴላን ወደዚያኛው ዓለም በሰላም ያሸጋግራቸው! ኦባማ በዚህ ወቅት አፍሪቃን፣ ደቡብ አፍሪቃን መጎብኘታቸው ምናልባት ከኔልሰን ማንዴላ ሁኔታ ጋር የተያያዘ ነገር ስለሚኖር ሊሆን ይችላል። ፕሬዚደንት ኦባማ የኔልሰን ማንዴላ ዓይነት ፈገግታ ያሳያሉ፣ ነገር ግን በዚህ በቅዱስ ጊዮርጊስ ዕለት ልባቸውን ባሳረፉበት የካይሮ ፒራሚድ ዙሪያ ሁከትና ብጥብጥ ስለሚፈጠር ከዚህ ፈገግታቸው ለጊዜው ይቆጠባሉ።

ኔልሰን ማንዴላ ከኦባማ ጉብኝት በኋላ የሆነ ነገር ከገጠማቸው፣ በምስሉ የሚታየውና የዶላር ወረቀት ፒራሚድ ውስጥ ያለው የኢሉሚናቲ ሁሉን–ተመልካች ዓይን በርግጥም የፕሬዚደንት ኦባማ ዓይን ነው ማለት ነው።

Syrian Christians: ‘Why Is America at War with Us’

Syrian Christians are asking why the United States supports extremists who want to turn Syria into an Islamic state.

That testimony came during a congressional hearing on Syria’s religious minorities Tuesday.

Rep. Chris Smith, R-N.J., who chairs the House Subcommittee on Africa, Global Health and Human Rights, called on President Barack Obama to defend the rights of Syrian Christians.

In an opening statement at Tuesday’s hearing, Smith said statistics show “that Christians are even more fearful for their lives and safety than other segments of the Syrian population.”

Nina Shea, director of the Hudson Institute’s Center for Religious Freedom, testified that Islamic insurgents are targeting Christians for “ethno-religious cleansing.”

Christian Solidarity International CEO Dr. John Eibner, who also testified at the hearing, said displaced Christians are asking him, “Why is the U.S. at war against us?”

Eibner told the panel he recently returned from a trip to Syria where he met with “many resilient and courageous Syrians, mainly displaced Christians and church workers.”

“Victims recounted to me the religious cleansing of Christian neighborhoods in Homs and Qusair by armed jihadists who threatened them with death if they did not leave their homes,” he said.

“A Christian woman told me that before she fled Homs, she had seen the beheading in broad daylight of an Alawite girl who was pulled off a public minibus by armed jihadist,” he said.

Eibner said the United States should work with Russia to negotiate a peace rather than help Sunni Muslims turn the country into an Islamic state.

Obama’s Proxy War on Mideast Christians

With the recent decision to arm the opposition fighting Syrian President Assad, the United States has effectively declared a proxy war on Syria’s indigenous Christians — a proxy war that was earlier waged on Christians in other Mideast nations, resulting in the abuse, death, and/or mass exodus of Christians.

Ironically (if not absurdly) this proxy war on Christians is being presented to the American people as a war to safeguard the “human rights” and “freedoms” of the Syrian people. Left unsaid by the Obama administration is the egregiously inhuman behavior these jihadis visit upon moderate Syrians in general and Christians in particular, from bombed churches to kidnapped (and often beheaded) Christians. Days ago they massacred an entire Christian village.

Nor can one argue that the Obama administration is unaware that Christian persecution is an ironclad aspect of empowering jihadis. Both past precedents and current events repeatedly demonstrate this.

In Libya, the administration armed/supported the “freedom fighters” fighting Gaddafi, even though it was common knowledge that many of them were connected to al-Qaeda. Again, the rationale was “our responsibilities to our fellow human beings,” as Obama declared in April 2011, and how not assisting them “would have been a betrayal of who we are.”

Soon after their empowerment, some of our U.S.-supported “fellow human beings” decided to rub America’s face in it by attacking the U.S. consulate — on the anniversary of September 11, no less — resulting in the murders and possible rape of American diplomats, even as Obama tried to attribute the attack to American freedom of speech (a la a YouTube flick).

Lesser known, however, is that Libya’s small Christian minority is being targeted. Among other things, the very few churches there are under attack; nuns that have been serving the sick and needy since 1921 have been harassed and forced to flee; foreign Christians possessing Bibles have been arrested and tortured (one recently died from his torture).

In Egypt, Obama and Hillary joined the bandwagon to eject Hosni Mubarak, America’s most stable and secular ally for thirty years. Then the administration cozied up to the Muslim Brotherhood — an Islamist organization that until recently was banned in Egypt and no U.S. president would have been involved with. Among other “achievements,” the Brotherhood produced Sayyid Qutb, who is idolized by al-Qaeda as the chief theoretician of modern jihad.

አጋጣሚ? ፦ የእንግሊዙ ቴሌግራፍ ስለ ደብረ ዳሞ ይህን አቀረብ፣ ‘ገለባ–ገለባው–ሲኤን ኤን‘ እንኳን ያልተለምዶው ስለ ገዳማቶቻችን የሚለው አለ። ይህን ጽሑፍ በማቀርብበት በዚህ ሰዓት፡ ምስሉ ላይ የገባችው ‘እርግብ‘ በመስኮቴ ብቅ ብላ ቁልጭ ቁልጭ ትልብኝ ጀመር። ቀስ ብዬ ፎቶ ካነሳኋት በኋላ፡ ጥሬ ስንዴ ለማምጣት ወደ መዓድ ቤት ገባሁ። ከፊሉን ስንዴ ለንፍሮ፣ ከፊሉን ደግሞ ለርግቧ ወስጄ ጣል ጣል ማድረግ ስጀምር እርግቧ ተንስታ በረረች። የበረረችበት አቅጣጫ ወደ ደቡብ ምስራቅ (የኢትዮጵያ አቅጣጫ) እንዲሁም ከኔ አንድ ኪሎሜትር ያህል እርቃ ልክ በዚያው አቅጣጫ ወደምትገኘው “የመንፈስ ቅዱስ ቤተክርስቲያን“ነው። “ነገ ተነስተህ ወደዚያ መሄድ አለብህ” በማለት እርግቧ ምልክት እየሰጠችኝ መሆኑ ታወቀኝ። ወገኖቼን ይዤወደ ቤተክርስቲያኗ አመራለሁ፡ ከተቀቀለውም ስንዴ፡በአብ፣ በወልድ በመንፈስ ቅዱስ ስም እንቀምሳለን ማልተ ነው። ስብሐት ለእግዚአብሔር!

በዓለ መንፈስ ቅዱስ / ጰራቅሊጦስ

ይህች ታላቅ ዕለት ከቅድስት ሥላሴ አንዱ አካል የሆነው እግዚአብሔር መንፈስ ቅዱስ ለቅዱሳን ሐዋርያት፣ ለቅዱሳን አርድእትና ለቅዱሳት ሴቶች የተገለጠባት ዕለት ናት፡፡ እነዚህ ሁሉ በጸሎት ተግተው በሚጸልዩበት ወራት መንፈስ ቅዱስ በተከፋፈሉ የእሳት ልሳን አምሳል የወረደበት ቅዱስ ቀን ነው፡፡

አስቀድሞ ጌታችን አምላካችን ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ለቅዱሳን ሐዋርያት ደብረ ዘይት በተባለ ታላቅ ተራራ ላይ ሳሉ እንዲህ ብሎ አስተምሯቸው ነበር “ኀይልን ከላይ ከአርያም እስክልክላችሁ ድረስ በኢየሩሳሌም በጸሎት ቆዩ፡፡”/ሉቃ 24፡36/ መቶ ሃያው ቤተሰብም በኢየሩሳሌም ሀገር በምትገኝ በቤተ መቅደስ በአንድነት ሆነው በጸሎት በመትጋት ቆዩ፡፡ ልጆችዬ መቶ ሃያው ቤተሰብ የሚባሉት 12ቱ ሐዋርያት፣ 72ቱ አርድእት/አገልጋዮች/ እና 36ቱ ቅዱሳን አንስት/ሴቶች/ ናቸው፡፡

ከዕርገት በኋላ በአሥረኛው ቀን እግዚአብሔር መንፈስ ቅዱስ ሐዋርያት ወዳሉበት፣ በጸሎትና በምሥጋና ወደ ሚተጉበት ሥፍራ በእሳት አምሳል /ምሳሌ/ ወርዶ በእያንዳንዳቸው ላይ ተቀመጠባቸው፡፡ ይሄንንም ሁኔታ ተከትሎ ምስጢር ተገለጠላቸው፣ ይፈሩ የነበሩት ሐዋርያትም ወንጌልን ለማስተማር ደፋሮች ሆኑ፣ በተለያየ ቋንቋዎች እንዲናገሩ እውቀት ተሰጣቸው፤ የእግዚአብሔርንም ጸጋ ተቀበሉ፡፡ ይህንን ታላቅ ኀይል እና ሰማያዊ ስጦታን የሰጣቸውን እግዚአብሔርን በታላቅ ዝማሬና እልልታ አመሰገኑት፡፡

በዓለ ሃምሳ የሚባለውን የአይሁድን በዓል ለማክበር ከተለያዩ ሀገራት የመጡ በጊዜው የነበሩ ቁጥራቸው በብዙ ሺዎች የሚቆጠሩ ሰዎች የሐዋርያቱን ታላቅ የዝማሬና የእልልታ ድምፅ ሰሙ፡፡ ከመቶ ሃያው ቤተሰብ መካከል አንዱ የሆነው ቅዱስ ጴጥሮስ የተሰበሰቡት ሁሉም እንዲሰሙት ድምፁን ከፍ አድርጎ ቃለ እግዚአብሔርን እንዲህ ብሎ አስተማራቸው፡፡ “እናንተ የእስራኤል ሰዎች ሆይ እኛን የሰው ልጆችን ለማዳን እግዚአብሔር ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ሰው ሆኖ ወደ ምድር መጥቶ ከክፉ ሥራ ተመለሱ፣ ኀጢአትን አታድርጉ፣ በቅድስና ኑሩ፣ ወደ እኔም ተመለሱ ቢላችሁ፤ እናንተ ግን ምንም በደል ሳይኖርበት ገረፋችሁት፣ አንገላታችሁት፣ በመስቀል ላይም ሰቀላችሁት፡፡ እርሱ ግን እግዚአብሔር ነውና ሞትን ድል አድርጎ ተነሣ፡፡ እርሱ ግን አሁንም ይቅር ባይ ነውና ከኀጢአታችሁ ተመለሱ ንስሐም ግቡ ፡፡” በማለት አስተማራቸው፡፡

የተሰበሰቡት ሰዎች ሁሉ ተገረሙ፡፡ ምክንያቱም ሐዋርያት በፊት የሚያውቁት አንድ ቋንቋ ብቻ ነበረ፡፡ በዚህ ሰዓት ግን ሰባ ሁለት ቋንቋን እግዚአብሔር መንፈስ ቅዱስ ገልጦላቸው ለሁሉም በየቋንቋቸው አስተማሯቸው፡፡ ይህንንም ድንቅ ተአምር ከተመለከቱት ብዙዎች እግዚአብሔርን አመሰገኑት፡፡ ወደ ሐዋርያትም ቀርበው “አባቶቻችን እናንተ የእግዚአብሔር አገልጋዮች ናችሁና ምከሩን፡፡ እንደ እናንተ የእግዚአብሔር ልጆች እንድንሆንና በቅድስና እንድንኖር ምን እናድርግ?”በማለት ጠየቁ፡ በዚያች ቀን ቁጥራቸው ሦስት ሺ ያህል ሰዎች በቅዱስ ጴጥሮስ ትምህርት አምነው ክርስቲያን ለመሆን ቀረቡ፡፡

ቅዱስ ጴጥሮስም እንዲህ አላቸው፡፡ “እነሆ ሁላችሁም ንስሐ ግቡ፡፡ በአምላካችን በኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ የባሕርይ አምላክነት አምናችሁ ተጠመቁ፡፡” አላቸው በዚያው ዕለትም ሦስት ሺ ሰዎች ወደ ሐዋርያት በመቅረብ ኀጢአታቸውን ተናገሩ፤ ሐዋርያትም እግዚአብሔር ይፍታችሁ እያሉ ልጅነትን የሚያሰጣቸውን ጥምቀት አጠመቁዋቸው፡፡

ከዚያ ቀን ጀምሮም በየዓመቱ ይህችን ታላቅ የቤተ ክርስቲያን የልደት ቀን የምትባለውን በዓለ ጰራቅሊጦስን ክርስቲያኖች በታላቅ ደስታና ምሥጋና እናከብራታለን፡፡ እናንተም ልጆችዬ እንደ ቅዱሳን ሐዋርያት በቤተ ክርስቲያን ተገኝታችሁ ቅዳሴ በማስቀደስ፣ መዝሙር በመዘመር እና በመጸለይ ይህችን ታላቅ በዓል ልታከብሯት ይገባል፡፡

የእግዚአብሔር አብ ጸጋ የእግዚአብሔር ወልድ ቸርነት የእግዚአብሔር መንፈስ ቅዱስ አንድነት ከሁላችን ጋር ይሁን አሜን፡፡

Maid to Suffer

She had arrived in Oman from a small town in a remote part of Ethiopia full of hope. Hope that she had secured a good job as a maid in a prosperous country and would be able to send money to her family back home. She believed this fortuitous break might herald some much-needed luck and that a brighter future now beckoned for her far away from the confines of her poverty-stricken African homeland.

Her lucky break was in fact being found still alive after being raped and violated by her sponsor and three of his friends and dumped like a piece of rubbish in the desert to die.

When some locals came across her, she was bleeding and barely conscious, having spentten days in the desert. Doctors said she only survived because of the unusual prolonged rainy conditions, another piece of luck.

Not having friends or family to turn to or any embassy to provide shelter, she was alone and helpless.

Without the kindness of strangers, she would have died. Even then, she was arrested and jailed for two months because her Omani sponsor had alerted police in the Interior that she was a ‘run-away’ or absconder.

Now imagine this all happening to you when you’re only 16 years old. Not a worldly-wise girl either, but a young, unsophisticated woman who has never left her small town.

Ethiopia’s Monastic Highs

Alastair Sooke finds inspiration in the extraordinary churches of Ethiopia and scales a cliff to visit one of the oldest buildings in the world still in use – which his grandfather restored in the Forties.

“Are you going to climb barefoot or wearing boots?”

In front of me was a wall of creamy-brown rock, mottled with footholds worn through centuries of use. My destination was situated nearly 60ft above my head: the threshold to the ancient monastery of Debra Damo, which occupies the summit of a rocky outcrop, entirely surrounded by cliffs, in the Tigray region of northern Ethiopia, a few miles south of the border with Eritrea. The only way to enter it is to haul yourself up a plaited-leather rope that hangs from a ledge adjoining the monastery’s gatehouse.

Thankfully, for outsiders like me, there is an additional strap that functions as a rudimentary safety harness, held taut by one or two monks above. After considering the question of my gung-ho guide, I unlaced my boots, in the hope that unshod feet would yield better grip, and began to heave. A few minutes later, my biceps burning, I clambered into the arms of the middle-aged monk who had been helping to pull me up. The hard part was behind me: the rest of the climb could be undertaken using steps.

Although this was my first visit to Debra Damo, I already felt some acquaintance with the monastery. This is because my maternal grandfather, Derek Matthews, who was an architect, lived among the monks here for several months while he restored the larger of the religious community’s two churches in the late 1940s. This crumbling structure has been used continuously for Christian worship since it was built, probably during the sixth century AD. My grandfather, who died in 2009, described it as “one of the oldest buildings in the world still in use”. As a child, I often heard about his time there, and imagined him as a nimble 28 year-old, hurtling up and down the leather rope with the sure-footed alacrity of a vervet monkey. At the end of last year, I decided to visit it for myself.

PEW: Arab Spring Adds to Global Restrictions on Religion

The Arab Spring, at least when it comes to religious freedom, isn’t yielding the bastion of free-thought and democracy that many world leaders once predicted. Just a few years ago, politicians and pundits were heralding disturbances in the Middle East as a potential first-step to improving human rights. But new information from the Pew Research Center is calling these claims into question.

In a study released on Thursday, the polling and research firm announced its findings, which show an increase in religion-based crackdowns, even in light of the Arab Spring and its promised ideological and legislative reforms. It’s likely that critics of the Obama administration will seize upon the research organization’s findings as proof that, despite positive predictions, the Middle East may be headed in an even more restrictive direction.

In a study released on Thursday, the polling and research firm announced its findings, which show an increase in religion-based crackdowns, even in light of the Arab Spring and its promised ideological and legislative reforms. It’s likely that critics of the Obama administration will seize upon the research organization’s findings as proof that, despite positive predictions, the Middle East may be headed in an even more restrictive direction.

To be clear, though, the religious freedom situation has always been a contentious one in the region. But instead of bringing important reforms and freedoms to the forefront, the study seems to show that, at least in 2011, the situation in the Middle East actually worsened.

According to the findings, the number of nations in the region that reported sectarian violence between religious groups doubled in size from five to 10 — and that’s only one of the findings.

In fact, the Arab Spring’s impact on the overall increase in religious crackdowns was apparently so prominent that Pew named the study, “Arab Spring Adds to Global Restrictions on Religion.” Here’s more from the study:

Among countries where Arab Spring uprisings occurred, government restrictions took various forms. In Egypt, for instance, the government continued to permit people to convert to Islam but prohibited them from abandoning Islam for another faith. In Bahrain, the Sunni-dominated government used high levels of force against Arab Spring demonstrators, most of whom were Shia Muslims. And in Libya, Mustafa Abdel Jalil, then chairman of the National Transitional Council, declared in October 2011 that Libya in the post-Moammar Gadhafi era would be run as an Islamic state with sharia law forming the basis of legislation.

ቅዱስ ጸበላችን የጽላተ ጽዮን ተዓምር ነው

ሣንሱር ያልተደረገ ጽሑፍ ነው ስህተት ካለ ክቡራን ወንድሞችና እህቶች እድታርሙኝ በትህትና እጠይቃለሁ…

ሉሲፈር ሰይጣን/የንጋት ልጅ/የአጥቢያ ኮከብ/ብርሃን መልአክ፡ ዓለማችንን ሙሉ በሙሉ በእጁ አስገብቶ የእግዚአብሔርን ልጆች ለማጥፋት ብሎም የጌታችን የእየሱስ ክርስቶስን ሁለተኛ መምጣት በመጠባበቅ የተቻለውን ሁሉ በማድረግ ላይ ይገኛል። ጌታችን በብርሃን መልክ ሆኖ ወደ ምድራችን እንደሚመለስ መጽሐፍ ቅዱስ ይነግረናል። ታዲያ ሉሲፈርና ልጆቹ በእጆቻቸው በሚሠሯቸው ነገሮች ይተማመናሉና “ተራቅቀዋል” የሚሏቸውን ሌዘር ጨረር አፈንጣቂ መሣሪዎች አምርተው ክርስቶስን በሌዘር ለመዋጋት በመዘጋጀት ላይ ይገኛሉ።

ጽላተ ሙሴ/ታቦተ ጽዮን በኢትዮጵያ መሆኗን እኛ ኢትዮጵያውያን ባናውጅም እንኳ፡ የሉሲፈር ልጆች ይህን ሃቅ በራሳቸው የተገነዙበት ከሺህ ዓመታት በፊት ነው። ይህ ቅዱስ ጽላት ወደ ኢትዮጵያ ገብቶ አሁን እንደ ቀላል አድረገን የምናያቸውን ተዓምራት ከመፈጸሙ በፊት፡ እስራኤላውያንን ከግብጻውያን ባርነት ነፃ አውጥቶ ቀይ ባሕርን የከፈለላቸው፤ እየሱስ ክርስቶስና ቅድስት እመቤታችን በግዮን/ዓባይ ወንዝ በኩል አድርገው ወድ ቅድስት ኢትዮጵያ እንዲመጡ፣ እንዲሁም ጌታችን በውሃ ላይ ይራመድ ዘንድ የተጠቀመበት እጅግ በጣም ኃይለኛ ጽላት ነው የሚል እምነት አለኝ።

ነብዩ ሙሴ እሥራኤላውያንን ነፃ እንዲወጡ ከመርዳቱ በፊት ለ40 ዓመታት ያህል የኢትዮጵያ ንጉሥ የነበረ ነበር። በኢትዮጵያ ቆይታው ጽላቱ ከተዋሃዳቸው ኢትዮጵያውያን ዘንድ አስፈላጊውን ትምሕርት፡ በቂ የሆነውን ኃይል ካገኘ በኋላ ነበር ወደ ፈርዖን ግዛት ተመልሶ በእርግጠኛ መንፈስ የእግዚአብሔርን ልጆች ነፃ ለመውጣት የበቃው።

በዘመናችንም ቢሆን የጽላቱን ኃይለኛነት ለማሳወቅ ምሳሌዎችን መዘርዘር አስፈላጊ አይደለም፡ ዓይን፣ ጆሮና ልብ ያለው ሁሉንም መገንዘብ ይችላል። ቅዱስ ጽላቱ ለሰው ልጅ ሁሉ የተላከ ነው፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ወዳጆች ጋሻና ጦራቸው ነው። ቅዱስ ጽላቱ በቅድስት ኢትዮጵያ እንደመገኘቱ የኢትዮጵያንና የአምላኳን ወዳጆች ይባርካል፣ ጠላቶቻቸውን ደግሞ ይቀስፋል። በተለይ በኢትዮጵያ አገራችን የሚገኙትና መልካቸውን ያልቀየሩት/የማይቀይሩት ኢትዮጵያውን የእግዚአብሔር ልጆች ስለሆኑ ከጽላቱ ጋር ተዋሕደዋል፤ የጽላቱ ኃይል እነርሱ ላይ/ውስጥ አድሮባቸዋል።

እነርሱ ከጽላቱ ጋር ሆነው የተፈጥሮ ኃይልን ማዘዝ ይችላሉ። ባገኙት ኃይልም በሰማይ ላይ የሚንቀሳቀሱትን ሳተላይቶች፣ አንጋፋዎቹን በኑክሌር ኃይል የሚሰሩ መብራት ኃይል ማመንጫዎችን እንዲሁም የኮምፒውተር ኔትወርኮችን በመዝጋት አሁን ያለው ስልጣኔ ላይ ከፍተኛ አደጋ የማድረስ ችሎታው አላቸው። የሉሲፈር ኃይሎች ይህን ስለሚያውቁ፡ ኢትዮጵያን በጠፈር መርከቡ፣ በሳተላይቱ በተቻላቸው ዘዴ ሁሉ ሌት ተቀን አተኩረው ይመለከታሉ/ይቆጣጠራሉ።

በቅድስት አገራችን የሚገኙ ቅዱሳን ቦታዎች፤ ዓብያተ ክርስቲያናት፣ ገዳማት በጽላቱ ቁጥጥር ሥር የሚገኙ ቅዱሳን ቦታዎች ናቸው። ጽላቱ ወንዞቻችንን፣ ሃይቆቻችንና ዛፎቻችንን ይቆጣጠራል፣ ዓባይን ይቆጣጠራል፣ ጣና ሃይቅን ይቆጣጠራል፣ በቅርቡም ቀይ ባሕርን ከሉሲፈር ተከታዮች እጅ ነፃ አውጥቶ ሙሉ በሙሉ ለመቆጣጠር ይበቃል። አገራችን የሚገኙ የጸበል ቦታዎች ተዓምር አምጪና ፈዋሽ የሆኑት፡ ጽላቱ፡ ቅዱስ መንፈስን እንዲያርፍባቸው ስለሚረዳ ነው። ስለዚህ ከጽላቱ ጋር የተዋሐዱት ቅዱሳን ኢትዮጵያውያን በቅዱስ መንፈስ እየተመሩ አዳዲስ ጸበላትን ሲያገኙና ዓብያተ ክርስቲያናትንም ባጠገባቸው ሲያሠሩ የጽላቱን፤ የመንፈስ ቅዱስን በረከት ለማግኘት ተዓምራትን ለማየት እድሉን ለማግኘት እንችላለን ማለት ነው። የዚህ ጠላቶች ግን ወዮላቸው!

የሉሲፈር ልጆች ይህን ምስጢር ደርሰውበታል፣ ወደ ቅድስት ኢትዮጵያም ጠጋ፣ ወደ ቅዱሳን ቦታዎቻችንም ቀረብ እያሉ ሊፈታተኑን፣ ሊረብሹን እና ሊዋጉን ይሻሉ። ባንድ በኩል ፀረ–ክርስቶስ የሆኑ ሃይማኖቶችና ሰዶማውያን የጣዖት አምልኮቶች በሌላ በኩል ደግሞ መንግሥታቱና ሳይንስ ዓምላኪ ቡድኖች፡ ሁሉም በአንድ መንፈስ ጽላቱን በመቆጣጠር ጌታችን እየሱስ ክርስቶስ ሲመለስ እንይዘዋለን ብለው በማሰብ ከፍተኛ የሆነ ዝግጅት በማድረግ ላይ ናቸው።

ለዚህም ዓላማቸው በኢትዮጵያ አካባቢ የሚገኙትን ምድሮች አንድ በአንድ በመቆጣጠር ጥንታዊ ክርስቲያን የሆኑ ሕዝቦችን በሊባኖስ፣ በኢራቅ፣ በሶርያ እና በግብጽ በማጥፋት ላይ ይገኛሉ። ኦርቶዶክስ የሆኑትን ሰርቢያን በቦምብ ደበደብው የአገሪቷን ክፍል ለእስማኤላውያን አሳልፈው ሰጡ፣ ጆርጂያን ሩስያንና አርመንያን የግብረሰዶማውያንን መርዝ በመርጨት እየተተናኮሏቸው ነው፣ የግሪክና ቆጵሮስንም ምጣኔ ኃብት አራቁተው ሕዝቦቹን ለማበርከክ እየሞከሩ ነው። በነገራችን ላይ ቆጵሮስ ባንክ ውስጥ በብዛት የሚገኘው ገንዘብ የኃብታም ሩስያውያን እና የግብጽ ኮፕቶች ገንዘብ ነው።

በመዝሙረ ዳዊት፣ በሶፎኒያስ እና በአሞጽ መጽሐፍት የተገለጸችው ኢትዮጵያ ከእስራኤል የበለጠ ኃይልና ክብር እንዳላት የሉሲፈር ኃይሎች ሳይቀሩ ያውቃል/ያምናሉ። ሉሲፈርያውያኑ ነጻ–ግንበኞች(ፍሪሜሶኖች)፡ ቴምፕላሮችንና ጀስዊቶችን ወደ ኢትዮጵያ በመላክ ጽላቱን እና ቅዱሳን የሆኑ የኢትዮጵያ/የእግዚአብሔር ንብረቶች ወደ አገሮቻቸው ለመውሰድ ሞክረዋል። ስኮትላንዳዊው ነጻ ግንበኛ ሌባ፡ ጀምስ ብሩስ እንደምሳሌ ይጠቀሳል።

በ14ኛው ክፍለዘመን የንበሩትና “ናይት ኦፍ ቴምፕለርስ“(የቤተመቅደሱ ባለሟሎች)በመባል የሚታወቁት የነጻ–ግንበኞች ቅድመአያቶች፤ በንጉሥ ላሊበላ ወንድም በንጉሥ ሃርቤይ ለአውሮፓውያን በተፃፈ ደብዳቤ እንዲሁም በአፄ አምደጽዮን ወደ ፈረንሳይ በተላኩ መልዕክተኞች ናይት ኦፍ ቴምፕላርስ በመላው አውሮፓ እንዲጨፈጨፉ ኢትዮጵያውያን አድርገዋል ብለው ፍሪሜሶኖች ያምናሉ። ስለዚህም ኢትዮጵያን ከድህነት እንዳትላቀቅና ሁልጊዜ ከጦርነት አዙሪት ውስጥ እንዳትወጣ በማድረግ ሃገራችንን እየተበቀሏት ይገኛሉ። ዓባይንም በተመለከተ፡ ግብጽንና ሳዑዲ ዓረቢያ እስከ አፍንጫቸው በማስታጠቅ እንዲጠግቡና እንዲኮሩብን ያደረጉት እነርሱው ናቸው። ግብጽ ቅዥታማ የማስፈራርያ ፕሮፓጋንዳዎችን እንድትነዛ የተገፋፋቸው በፍሪሜሶናዊው የ “የራስ ቅል እና አጥንቶች/ ስካል ኤንድ ቦንስ“፟)አባል በውጭ ጉዳይ ሚኒስትር ጆን ኬሪ ነው። ጆን ኬሪ ለግብጽ ሁለት ቢሊየን ዶላር የሚጠጋ ስጦታ ለቁንዶ በርበሬና ጨው ጺማሙ ለፕሬዚደንት ሙርሲ ካበረከቱ በኋላ ወደ ኢትዮጵያ ወርደው በኢትዮጵያውያን ላይ አላገጡ። “ሃርድ ቶክ” የተባለውን የቢቢሲ ፕሮግራም ያየ ይህን በግልጽ የሚታዘበው ነው። 50 ዓመት የምስረታ በዓሏን በምታከብረው አፍሪቃ የተገኙት ጆን ኬሪ በአዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ከአፍሪቃውያን ጋር ስለ አፍሪቃ ወይም ስለ ኢትዮጵያ ሁኔታ ሳይሆን ስለ አፍጋኒስታን፣ ፓኪስታንና ሶርያ ነበር ሆን ብለው የተነጋገሩ። የወደቀችውም ኢትዮጵያዊት(ሱዳን የወደቅችው ኢትዮጵያ ናት)የቢቢሲዋ ‘ዘይነብ በዳዊ‘ም እየተቁነጠነጠች በአፍሪቃውያኑ ተማሪዎች ላይ በመሰላቸትና በንቀት መልክ እጆቿን ትጠነቋቁልባቸው ነበር። ምን ነካት?

ለመሆኑ አፍሪቃዊ የሚባሉት ፕሬዚደንት ኦባማ የአፍሪቃውያኑን 50ዓመት በዓል ለማክበር ለምን ወደ አዲስ አበባ አልሄዱም? በመጭዎቹ ቀናት ወደ ኢትዮጵያ ሳይሆን ወደ ሴኔጋል፣ ደቡብ አፍሪቃና ታንዛንያ ያመራሉ።

ሥልጣን ላይ ያሉ የአሜሪካ ፕሬዚደንቶች እና የሮማው ጳጳስ ኢትዮጵያን አንዴም ጎብኝተዋት አያውቁም፡ ይህም ያለምክኒያት አይደለም። ምክኒያቱ፡ አንዴም፡ ቴምፕላሮችን፣ በኋላም ፍሪሜሶኖችን በተደጋጋሚ ያሳፈረች አገር ስልሆነች፣ በተለይ ደግሞ ታቦተ ጽዮን በቅድስት ኢትዮጵያ ስለምትገኝ ነው። አንድ አሜሪካዊ የፖለቲካ ሰው የፕሬዚደንትነቱን ሥልጣን ለመረከብ ሲዘጋጅ አስቀድሞ ምስጢራዊ የሆነውን የፍሪሜሶኖች/ነፃ ግንበኞች አጀንዳ ለማራመድ ብቃትነት እና ታማኝነት ሊኖረው ይገባል። እንደ አብርሃም ሊንከን እና ጆን ኤፍ ኬነዲ የመሳሰሉት ፕሬዚደንቶች በመኻል አሻፈረኝ ስላሉ ከፕሬዝደንትነቱ በግድያ ተወግደዋል።

አቶ ኦባማ ለፕሬዚደንትነት ከመብቃታቸው በፊት የኢሊኖይ ግዛት ሴነተር ነበሩ። ሴነተር ከመሆናቸው በፊት በፍሪሜሶኖች ምን ዓይነት ሥልጠና እንዳደርጉ አላውቅም፤ ነገር ግን እ.አ.አ በ2005 ዓ.ም ላይ ቺካጎ ከተማ ከሚገኙ ኢትዮጵያውያን ጋር ተገናኝተው ነበር። ይህም ዝም ብሎ አልነበረም።(በቅርቡም ከኢትዮጵያዊ–እሥራኤላዊቷ የቁንጅና ውድድር አሸናፊ ጋር መገናኘታቸው ይታወሳል።)ባራክ ኦባማ በ2006 ዓ.ም ወደ ምስራቅ ዓፍሪቃ አምርተው በኢትዮጵያ፣ ኬኒያ እና ሶማሊያ ጠረፍ በሚገኘው ባለሦስትዮሽ ቦታ ላይ በመገኘት የሉሲፈርን በረከት ተቀበሉ። እዚህ ተመልከቱ። ይህን ቦታ(‘ቱርካና‘ ሃይቅ ብለውታል)ምድራዊ ማዕከሉ በዓረቢያና በቱርክ ሲሆን “ፓዙዙ” በሚል ስም የተጠራው ጋኔን የሚገኘው ግን እዚህ ቱርካና ሃይቅ አካባቢ ነው። ይህ ጋኔን “The Exorcist 2” በሚለው ተንቀሳቃሽ ሰዕል ላይ የተጠቀሰ ነው።

ሴነተር ኦባማ: ጁላይ 24, 2008 ወደ ጀርመኗ በርሊን ጎራ ብለው ከ200ሺህ ለሚበልጡ ሰዎች የከተማዋ “ድል ቅስት” እና የ “ብራንደንበር በር” አጠገብ ሆነው ንግግር አሰሙ። ለፕሬዚደንትነት በእጩ ተዋዳዳሪነት በመቅረብ‘መለኮታዊውን‘ቅባት የተቀቡትና ከጨለማ ኃይሎች አስፈላጊውን ማበረታቻ ቅመም የተቀበሉት ከዚህ በኋላ ነበር። ከዚህ ቀን በኋላ ሴኔተር ኦባማ ሁሉንም የምርጫ ፕራይመሪዎች አሸነፉ።

ለምን ጀርመን? ለምን በርሊን? ጀርመን፡ ምክኒያቱም ደቡብ ጀርመን፣ ባቫርያ ግዛት ዓለምን የሚመሩት የፍሪሜሰኖች/ኢሉሚናቲ እናት አገር ስለሆነች። በርሊን ደግሞ የሉሲፈር ዓምልኮቶች መገለጫ ከሆኑትና ምናልባትም በዓለማችን ዓይነተኛ ሚና ከሚጫወቱት ጣዖታዊ መገለጫዎች የሚገኙባት ከተማ ነች። ከነዚህም ቁልፍ ቦታዎች መካከል በግሪኩ “አክሮፖሊስ” “ፕሮፒሌዓ” በሚል በሚታወቀው ጥንታዊ ኃውልት ቅርጽ የተሠራው የ ብራንደንበርግ በር እንዲሁም “ጴርጋሞን” የሚል መጠሪያ የያዘው ሙዚዬም ይገኙበታል።

ጴርጋሞን በጥንቷ ግሪክ በአሁኗ ቱርክ የምትገኝ ከተማ ናት። በጥንታውያኑ ግሪኮች አፈ ታሪክ ዜውስ/ጁፒተር/ድያ በመባል የሚታወቀው የአማልክቶቻቸው አምላክ ተቀማጭነቱ በፔርጋሞን ነበር። እዚያም የዜውስ/ጁፒተር ሃውልት ቆሞ እንደነበረና ነዋሪዎቹም ጣዖታዊ መስዋዕቶችን ለአማልክቶቻቸው ያቀርቡ እንደነበር መጽሐፍ ቅዱስ ይናገራል። (የሐዋርያት ሥራ 14)ቅዱስ ጳውሎስ እና ባርናባስ እዚህ ቦታ ላይ እንደነበሩና ይህን ጣዖታዊ ተግባር አጥብቀው እንደተቃወሙ ያስረዳናል። ጳውሎስን ሄርሜን አሉት፡ ባርነባስን ድያ/ጁፒተር አሉት። ይህ፡ ሰይጣን “የበርነባስ ወንጌል” በማለት ሙስሊሞችን እንዴት እንዳታለላቸው አያሳየንምን? ብርሃንን ጨለማ፡ ጨለማን ብርሃን!

እ.አ.አ በ1880ቹ ዓመታት ላይ፡ ማለትም፡ በእንግሊዝና በቱርክ የምትደገፋዋ ቱርክ በኢትዮጵያ ከተሸነፈች በኋላ፡ ጀርመናውያን የአርኬዎሎጂ አጥኝዎች ወደ እስላሟ ኦቶማን ቱርክ በመጓዝ የዚህ የዜውስ/ድያ/ጂፒተር መናገሻና መቀመጫ በሆነችው እና ቅዱስ ዮሐንስ “ሰይጣን በሚኖርበት“(ረዕይ. 2:12-17)ብሎ በጠቆመን በ ጴርጋሞን ከተማ በመገኘት ከኦቶማን ቱርክ መሪዎች የዜውስን/ድያን/ጁፒተርን ኃውልት ገዝተው ወደ በርሊን ከተማ አመጡት። ከዚያ ጊዜ ጀምሮ ይህ ኃውልት በበርሊን ከተማ “ጴርጋሞን ሙዚዬም” ውስጥ ይገኛል።

የሰይጣኑ የዜውስ/ጁፒተር ኃውልት ወደ በርሊን በመጣ በዓመት ውስጥ፡ አውሮፓውያን መንግሥታት አፍሪካን ለመቀራመት እዚህችው በርሊን ከተማ ላይ በ1884ዓ.ም ላይ አንድ ዲያብሎሳዊ ውል አጸኑ። ጣልያን ኢትዮጵያን:ሌሎቹም የተቀሩትን አፍሪቃ ሃገራት እንዲወሩ ዕቅዱን አወጡ።

አረመኔው ሂትለር ጨካኝ ለሆነው ተግባሩ ቡራኬውን ያገኘው ከእዚህ ቦታ ላይ ነበር። በበርሊን ከተማ እስከ መቶ ሺህ የሚሆኑ ቱርኮች ይኖራሉ።

ሴነተር ኦባማ ለፕሬዚደንትነቱ ከበቁ በኋላ በይፋ ከጎበኟት የመጀመሪያዎቹ አገሮች መካከል ቱርክ፡ ሳዑዲ አረቢያን ግብጽ ይገኙበታል። ፕሬዚደንት ኦባማ ከፍተኛ የፖለቲካ ቀውጥ ውስጥ በሚገኙበት በአሁኑ ወቅት ወደ በርሊን መመለሳቸው የአጋጣሚ አይደለም። በነገው ዕለት በበርሊን ቆይታቸው የሰይጣኑን የጁፒተርን ኃውልት ይሳለማሉ። አዲስ ድል ይሰጣቸው ይሆን?

Syrian rebels beheaded a Christian man and fed his body to dogs, according to a nun who says the West is ignoring atrocities committed by Islamic extremists.

The nun said taxi driver Andrei Arbashe, 38, was kidnapped after his brother was heard complaining that fighters against the ruling regime behaved like bandits.

She said his headless corpse was found by the side of the road, surrounded by hungry dogs. He had recently married and was soon to be a father.

Saudi Arabia said it has confirmed four more cases of a lethal new coronavirus in the kingdom’s Eastern Province, with the oil-rich region now accounting for half of the total 38 cases confirmed globally in the year-long outbreak. The rate of infection also may be increasing, with more than half of the new cases reported during the past two weeks, heightening worries in Saudi Arabia and internationally about the disease’s spread. The Saudi government says 28 of the total cases confirmed since fall 2012 occurred in the kingdom, and nine people have died.

The virus, which can cause coughing, fever and pneumonia, has spread from the Gulf to France, Britain and Germany. The WHO has called it the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus (MERS-CoV).

It is a distant relative of the virus that triggered the outbreak of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) that swept the world in late 2003 and killed 775 people.

The origin of the MERS virus is still unclear. So far, it appears to spread between people only when there is close, prolonged contact.

Women: The World Ignores The Muslim World’s Crimes

A couple of days ago, I was politely telling some European travellers to not willingly vacation in countries like the United Arab Emirates where thousands of young Ethiopian women are being enticed with the promise of work – only to suffer verbal, physical and sexual abuse. Well, to my disappointment, they were less enthusiastic to acknowledge the sad plight of African and Asian women in that God-forsaken region. Western powers spend trillions of dollars to fight against evil spirits that rule principalities. They send thousands of their sons to Afghanistan, Iraq and co. as a blood sacrifice to the beast. They import millions of the new-barbarians to their countries, give them everything they want, protect and appease them despite the fact that they are the first to jump down their throats when things go wrong. They let these barbarian into their societies so that they could shake the judeo-christian foundation. They let them abuse the system freely. They rape their daughters, kill their young soldiers brutally – yet, they still refuse to learn how to walk in other people’s shoes.

The crimes committed against poor Ethiopian women in the Middle East are indeed horrendous and horrific crimes against humanity that violate the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Yet, the ‘civilized’ world, the United Nations do nothing to stop these crimes. The UnUnited Nations!

Another Ethiopian ‘Commits’ Suicide in Mount Lebanon

An Ethiopian domestic worker committed suicide in the home of her employer in the Mount Lebanon town of Choueifat last Wednesday, June 12, 2013, a security source said.
The 23-year-old died by hanging using a rope in one of the rooms of her employer, the source said.

According to one report, the worker was pregnant in her sixth month.

Ethiopian dies, Pinay maid survives torture, starvation by UAE employers

A Filipina housemaid in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) survived torture and starvation at the hands of her employers but her Ethiopian colleague did not.

The couple faced the Court of First Instance for the alleged abuse as prosecutors sought life imprisonment for them, according to a report on the Khaleej Times news site on Tuesday.

Charges lodged against the couple included illegal imprisonment, deprivation of freedom with the use of force, physical and mental torture leading to death, and causing bodily harm, the report said.

However, the couple — a 45-year-old public relations officer and her 42-year-old policeman husband — denied the charges against them.

A forensic expert said the Ethiopian maid weighed only 37 kg when she died, while her blood samples contained traces of a pesticide, even as the suspect allegedly tried to bribe one maid with money so she would not talk to the police.

Both the Ethiopian and Filipina sustained severe injuries leading to infection.

On the other hand, the court was told the Emirati policeman merely watched while his wife abused the maids and locked them up in the bathroom.

He allegedly secured his villa in Nad Al Hamar area so the two maids could not escape.

Torture

The Filipina maid, 29, said the torture lasted a couple of months.

She told the prosecutor her employer would beat her and deny her food, and even force her to drink a mix of detergents when she did not like her cleaning.

Also, she said the employer would threaten her with jail and claim she and her husband had connections with the police and immigration.

She would also allegedly threaten to circulate nude pictures of the two. She had taken photos of the two after forcing them to strip.

The Filipina added the Emirati would bang their heads against the wall while they were cleaning the house.

She added the Emirati fed the Ethiopian only a piece of onion, sugar and salt for five days, and fed her better only after the Ethiopian lost consciousness.

But when the Ethiopian’s injuries became infected, the employer would not take her to a hospital for fear the abuse may be discovered.

Witness

The Khaleej Times report said a maid of the employer’s friend testified she herself was abused by the employer, who threw detergent on her face and forced her to sniff her underwear.

Even the employer’s friend, a 35-year-old manager, testified seeing the employer beating the victim with a stick.

However, last Jan. 16, she said she heard the employer beg the maid not to speak to the police and offered her money.

Gali’s Australian attorney explained that, as far as she understands, the crime is only considered rape under the country’s strict Islamic laws if there are “four adult, male Muslim witnesses that can provide evidence that the sex was non-consensual.”
