God Hates Ethiopia?

Posted by addisethiopia on May 29, 2012

Ed’s note: The following angry rants and rantings were done by the controversial Kansas-based “Westboro Baptist Church” which claims only about 100 members — almost all from the family of a man named Fred Phelps. The whole, “God hates the World” thought is absolute madness. Hateful people are the loudest, these days.  In the third commandment we read,“You shall not take the Lord your God’s name in vain”. Well, these folks must have a different understanding. Wooow!!!

Two words can be used to describe the face of young Ethiopians, to wit: Teddy Afro (a/k/a Tewodros Kasahun). A young punk who fancies himself a “pop star” and was just recently sentenced to six years in prison for the manslaughter of a homeless man and fleeing the scene of an accident. Correct! That is what they have to offer the world, in Ethiopia.

Miss Ethiopia beauty 2009 – What do you suppose this witch said was her goal/mission in life? What do you think she has to say to the millions of Ethiopian girls/women who she has as a captive audience where she could tell them to fear God and keep His commandments? Here’s what she had to say about her victory, to wit: “she was excited to win the title as it would leave a message that Ethiopia is a home for beautiful people in its all regions.” Samaliland Press January 20, 2009. Not one person in that vile nation of gross darkness would ever say these words in the ears of their female children: “Proverbs 31:30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.” After all, recall, it was the Queen of Sheba (Ethiopia) who came such a far journey to hear the wisdom of the man Solomon. Proverbs was written by Solomon, you ignorant and vain silly women of Ethiopia!

Senait Ashenafi – Ethiopian born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia 3/10/66 – american soap opera star (General Hospital), who teaches the youth of all nations to be trashy, and whorish in their conduct. Since the other nations see DOOMED america as the “land of opportunity” – they send their young adults (think Heath Ledger) to this nation. As soon as they step foot on our soil, they immediately begin the assimilation process. That does not make them guiltless in any respect. So, you have this young woman (now in her early 40s) who came from that DOOMED land of Ethiopia to the DOOMED land of america and did all she could (see her work in Prince of Belaire) to teach rebellion and disregard for God and His standards.

Meskie Shibru Sivan – Ethiopian born famous singer/actress from Israel. So, there you have it: an Ethiopian Israelite, but with no interest whatsoever in serving God. Instead she glories in her and her mother’s shame. She brags of her mother having been thrown in an Ethiopian jail for Zionist activities before joining her and her family who fled from Ethiopia to Israel in her youth. She speaks at Israeli women’s functions, and such. She denies the God who created her and rages against Him for her plight. All of this is clearly in defiance of her creator, and she will be held accountable for same. She is a poster child for sin from Ethiopia.

Jeremiah 13:23 Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? then may ye also do good, that are accustomed to do evil.

God’s Wrath Revealed Against Ethiopia

Aside from everything covered in the “Filthy Manner of Life” section, these are some clear manifestations of God’s wrath on the evil nation of Ethiopia. Again, you cannot ignore the fact that God clearly stated that he is furious with Ethiopia for the way they took advantage of His people (as set out in the section on Filthy Manner of Life). In concrete terms, and to focus on the time frame when Westboro Baptist Church has had a conspicuous, public ministry on the mean streets of the nations of this world, let us see what God has been doing to this evil land of Ethiopia since the late 1900 through today.

GOD SMACK, January 25, 2010 – Ethiopian Airlines Flight 409’s airplane burst into flames after take-off and crashed into the Mediterranean Sea; 90 are suspected dead.

GOD SMACK, February 2009 – Large numbers (some estimate 100,000) people were displaced due to rising bitter conflicts (300 + killed so far) between rival groups (let’s call them gangs, want to?) over property, water, and other resources. The armed conflicts were so bad for a time on and around February 5 that nobody was being granted access to that region in Southern Ethiopia. What is the cause of all this strife and conflict? Drought! With the wrath of God pouring down on these people, they have less water, which means less to go around which mean tighter reigns and those who hold the resources hold the power. So, when a rival group tries to take control, that results in blood shed. That is the picture of a nation which God hates! The commentators say it is such a shame that the drought has gotten so bad in that region that these types of conflicts and crime sprees are now considered “common” and overlooked by the people running the land. God Hates Ethiopia!

GOD SMACK August, 2006 – Heavy flooding killed hundreds and left THOUSANDS homeless.

GOD SMACK November 23, 1996 – 125 people killed in an Ethiopian plane crash.

GOD SMACK 1984 drought – Killed 300,000 people.

GOD SMACK, IN-land slaughter during the Red Terror of 1977-1978 (See more on this in the “Government” section) – The tyrannical government security forces killed thousands of students and urban professionals. The ones who did not get killed, fled because of the human rights violations that characterized the government’s policy toward dissidents of the standing government. The regime continually found itself engaged in civil war with several of the insurgent groups. This fact had a devastating impact on the people, as well as the land, and the economy. The fighting caused hundreds of thousands of refugees as well as displacing thousands of other people from their farms and villages. When the government/insurgents caused forcible villagization and resettlement that added to generating refugees. For example, in one region alone, the forced imposition of villagization prompted 33,000 people to flee to Somalia. THAT IS A CURSE ON A LAND! God Hates Ethiopia.

GOD SMACK 1974 drought – Killed 200,000 people, 80% of the cattle, 50% of the sheep and 30% of the camels and goats, now THAT sure did leave a mark to last quite a few decades.

GOD SMACK 1972 drought – Killed 600,000 people!

GOD SMACK FOR SEVERAL DECADES NOW – Starvation is prevalent in Ethiopia. For example, compared to the united states of DOOMED america: For each 1 child in DOOMED america that is moderately to severely underweight – Ethiopia has 47 who are. For each 8 children in DOOMED america who die under the age of 5 years old – Ethiopia has 169 who die under the age of 5 years old. For each 7 children who die as infants (i.e. infant mortality) in DOOMED america – Ethiopia has 112 who die as infants! Due to starvation, the MORTALITY RATE IN ETHIOPIA IS 47 years old. If you live past 47 years of age in Ethiopia, it is cause for GREAT CELEBRATION. You understand what I am telling you. God HATES Ethiopia!

GOD SMACK for about 30-40 years now – AIDs is killing off these perverts in Ethiopia. Check out these statistics: The number of HIV positive cases has been staying steadily between 100,000 and 140,000 for the past 20 years. Whereas the numbers of those dying from full-blown AIDs has been steady right around 100,000 each year for the past 10 years. NOW THAT is a curse, and clear evidence that God Hates Ethiopia!

GOD SMACK for centuries – Continual WAR in your gates, evil Ethiopia. Today, the headlines SCREAM “Somalia: Islamists Recapture a Town After Heavy Fighting With Ethiopian Troops”, All Africa.com tells the tale on this subject, to wit: for a few years now, Ethiopia has been fighting with Somalia (since 2006 when Ethiopia invaded – ARE YOU CRAZY?!) and right now they are getting their backsides beat. WOW! Does that sound familiar, DOOMED america? I’m just saying, there are a lot of similarities between this vile nation and DOOMED america. Here’s why Ethiopia is all curses, all day: Psalm 50:22 Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver. Forget God, that says, and then this happens, Jud 5:8 They chose new gods; then was war in the gates: was there a shield or spear seen among forty thousand in Israel?

They claim that the infamous Queen of Sheba was in fact from modern day Ethiopia, but they fail to listen to her words of wisdom, to wit: 1 Kings 10: 1 ¶ And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the LORD, she came to prove him with hard questions.

2) And she came to Jerusalem with a very great train, with camels that bare spices, and very much gold, and precious stones: and when she was come to Solomon, she communed with him of all that was in her heart.

3) And Solomon told her all her questions: there was not any thing hid from the king, which he told her not.

4) And when the queen of Sheba had seen all Solomon’s wisdom, and the house that he had built,

5) And the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel, and his cupbearers, and his ascent by which he went up unto the house of the LORD; there was no more spirit in her.

6) And she said to the king, It was a true report that I heard in mine own land of thy acts and of thy wisdom.

7) Howbeit I believed not the words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen it: and, behold, the half was not told me: thy wisdom and prosperity exceedeth the fame which I heard.

8) Happy are thy men, happy are these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, and that hear thy wisdom.

9) Blessed be the LORD thy God, which delighted in thee, to set thee on the throne of Israel: because the LORD loved Israel for ever, therefore made he thee king, to do judgment and justice.

  1. Joseph Biddulph (Pontypridd, Cymru. Proud member of St Dyfrig's Catholic Parish) said

Like all Christian countries, Ethiopia is full of sinners, and the corruption of certain parts of the Western world will obviously have no good effect on the Diaspora. But Ethiopia, despite great vicissitudes, and with very little assistance from outside, has managed to maintain a faith with a church in every village and a spirit of piety that is almost unknown in the West. Apart from the main Scriptures, several early Christian writings disappeared in the rest of Christendom, notably the Book of Enoch, which survived in Ethiopia, in hand-written copies. Anyone really interested in church history, including the bits that recent scholars tend to skip over, would be advised to gain a smattering of the Classical Ethiopic or Ge’ez language and add Ethiopica to their repertoire. In my own case, a purely linguistic project on Ethiopica revealed to me in 2006 the value of the literature that Protestant scholars in particular are too ready to call “Apocrypha” or “apocryphal”, which changed my whole perception of the status and importance of what all churches acknowledge as Holy Scripture – away with the minimalist assumption that the Bible writings are all that ever existed to express the nature and majesty of the Lord God or to reflect the piety of the people – away with the reductionist concept of Genesis being botched together from speculative “J” and “E” versions of the faith, Isaiah divided into many, etc. I can thank Ethiopia and its scribes for these insights, whatever evil individual Ethiopians (like individual Christians anywhere) are capable of. I can also thank my Islamic acquaintance – remembering the large Islamic presence also in Ethiopia – for reminding us of the necessity for a prayer life, and not just a nod towards God once or twice a day, and the necessity of taking our Scriptures at their word, rather than trying to filter everything through a rationalist-secularist filter.
