The Destruction of The World

Posted by addisethiopia / አዲስ ኢትዮጵያ on May 29, 2011

Some people saw the the end of times on Mai 21, 2011 — others believe the world as we know it is going to end on December 23, 2012. All is nonsense! The far more honest answer is that the end of the world as we know it has already begun. And it doesn’t mean the end of the world; it means the closing of one era and the birth of a new one. It is a transition between the ages. This particular transition, however, promises to be the most tumultuous and costly transition humankind has ever seen. We are living through the opening chapters of the end of the world as we know it, and on the other side of all this will emerge a new world that’s very different from the one we know today.

Here are 14 clearer signs that show us the collapse of this world:

#1 – Tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes and tsunamis – At first it seemed like a fluke; but now it’s a pattern. The weather is becoming increasingly extreme. Over 120 tornadoes recently struck the U.S. Midwest. Texas is on fire and suffering through an extreme drought. And where there aren’t fires and droughts, there are floods. This is only the beginning… watch for more freak weather over the next 18 months.

#2 – The silence of the bees – Colony Collapse Disorder continues to accelerate across North America. We already know it’s being caused in part by chemical pesticides (and possibly worsened by GMOs), but the chemical industry is engaged in a full-on cover-up to deny this truth while the pollinators of our world suffer a devastating population collapse.

#3 – The failure of nuclear science – The Fukushima catastrophe proves one thing: Scientists are dangerously arrogant in their planning of large-scale projects, and they fail to account for the awesome power of Mother Nature. Nuclear science promised us clean, green energy — but now it has delivered a silent, invisible poison that’s infecting our planet.

#4 – The vicious pursuit of Wikileaks – In an age of such rampant deceit, there is no room for the truth. So those who tell the truth (Wikileaks) are viciously pursued as if they were criminals.

#5 – The rise of the medical police state – The armed SWAT raids on Maryanne Godboldo in Detroit are only the beginning. The truth is that the medical system uses guns to force its vaccines and chemotherapy onto children and teens across America. The medical system has become so utterly useless, corrupt and dangerous that it must actually invoke guns in peoples’ faces just to “convince” people to take its medicine. This is a gunpoint-enforced medical monopoly that exists as a threat to our health and our freedoms.

#6 – The increasing frequency of food shortages and crop failures – Notice the spike in food prices? That’s just the beginning: Food prices will continue to skyrocket in the years ahead due to extreme weather, the loss of pollinators and the global contamination of crops by GMOs. Real food is becoming increasingly scarce in our world. You might want to think about starting a home garden…

#7 – The runaway destruction of the world by energy companies – The radioactive fallout from Fukushima isn’t the only way in which energy companies are destroying our world: Don’t forget about the Deepwater Horizon and the massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico — a spill that isn’t over, by the way. They’re still spraying Corexit in the Gulf one year later!

#8 – The continued GMO contamination of our planet – This may be the worst chapter in the coming collapse: The widespread genetic pollution of our planet through GMOs. This is a crime against nature and against humanity. It is a “gene spill” that may never be contained as it spreads its deadly DNA across the world’s food crops, leading to crop failures and starvation. The use of GMOs is the closest thing to “Satanic” that you’ll find in modern agriculture. The agenda behind this is pure evil.

#9 – The tyranny and criminal crackdowns targeting real food (raw milk) – When you can’t even sell honest farm food to your neighbors without being targeted and arrested by the cops, something is terribly wrong with the world. But this is happening today, all across America. Now the feds are even targeting the Amish!

#10 – The escalation of the counterfeiting of the money supply – In a failed economic system approaching collapse, the moronic leaders can only think of “solutions” that actually accelerate their own downfall. The runaway counterfeiting of money by the Federal Reserve (with its “quantitative easing” and other counterfeit methods) is a classic sign that the end of our current system is fast approaching. The economic insanities are obvious to anyone who can still do math.

#11 – The plummeting intelligence of the masses – One of the most disturbing signs that we’re already in the collapse is the great DUMBING-DOWN of the masses. The drooling, CNN-watching television zombies who dominate our landscape offer absolutely nothing of value to the world. They are the “mindless consumers” who get vaccinated, watch television and eat processed, pasteurized junk food. They’re on psychiatric meds and believe everything the government tells them. Most of these people, of course, won’t make it through the collapse.

#12 – The complete and utter fabrication of the mainstream news – Much of the mainstream news is now utterly and completely fabricated these days: The reporting on Obama’s long-form birth certificate; the news about the war in Libya; the coverage of the economy and the U.S. debt… it’s all so utterly false and unbelievable that an intelligent person watching the news can’t help but explode with laughter. It is a sign of this collapse that the information sources relied upon by the masses are unable to report the truth anymore and must resort to weaving politically expedient fictions on everything from health care and medicine to the fate of the U.S. dollar itself.

#13 – The ongoing pharmaceutical pollution of our world – Beyond the GMO contamination and the radiation contamination of our world, we are also experiencing the mass pharmaceutical contamination of our planet. It’s not just the pharma factories that dump their products into the rivers, it’s also the fact that well over half the population is now taking drugs almost daily, and those drugs pass right through their bodies and end up in the water supply where they contaminate the fish. Even beyond that, the drugs end up in the human sewage sludge that’s packaged and sold as “organic soil!”

#14 – The radioactive contamination of the global food supply – Here’s one that’s really insidious: The global food supply is now contaminated with the radioactive fallout from Fukushima. We’re told the levels are “low,” but we’re not told the truth of how radioactive cesium isotopes persist in the food supply for centuries. How is the human race going to survive its exposure to CT scans, radioactive food, chest X-rays, TSA body scanners and even the secret DHS mobile X-ray vans that can penetrate your body with X-rays as you’re walking into a football stadium? The total radiation burden on the human race is now reaching a point of mass infertility. That may be the whole idea, actually.

The Coming World Dictator

Posted by addisethiopia / አዲስ ኢትዮጵያ on May 17, 2011

by Wayne Blank

There is a world dictator coming. He’s going to defeat all other leaders, kings, presidents, prime ministers, and annihilate their armed forces if they do not immediately and unconditionally surrender to him. He’s going to take over the United States of America, Canada, Britain, Australia, New Zealand, all of Europe, Russia, China, India, all of the countries of the Middle East, Africa, South America, and every other country on earth. Democracy will not exist (even in countries where it does exist now, it’s often become so perverted that it isn’t true democracy anymore anyway – democracy began with honest candidates with principles, that people could either vote for or against; now, candidates are more often political harlots who will promise and “stand for” anything that they think will buy them votes) because he will rule all nations according to his own will.

This coming world dictator is going to do away with the separation of church and state (in the relatively few countries where it now exists) and at the same time abolish Roman Catholicism, Protestantism, Judaism, Mohammadanism, Buddhism, Hinduism, and all other religions and religious “isms,” and enforce his own religion upon the whole world. He will not tolerate rebels and non-conformists; they will be dealt with quickly and with lethal force. Under his control, there will be Law, and there will be Order, in all the world – there will be no more crime, war, hunger, poverty, or social injustice, anywhere.

Does that “world dictator” sound ominous and scary? Relax. He’s the most righteous and loving ruler that this world will ever have. The name of that “dictator” is Jesus Christ.

“For all nations shall come and worship before Thee”

The return of Jesus Christ will happen with overwhelming power. Many great conquerors of the past have claimed to “take on the world,” but all failed. Jesus Christ is going to succeed:

“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He doth judge and make war [see Two Very Different Triumphal Entries]. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns; and He had a name written, that no man knew, but He Himself. And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His Name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed Him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of His mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations: and He shall rule them with a rod of iron: and He treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He hath on His vesture and on His thigh a Name written, King Of kings, and Lord of lords” (Revelation 19:11-16)

The world will have one Ruler, Jesus Christ, who will provide peace and security for all.

“And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of The Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths: for out of Zion [see Who, What or Where Is Zion? and Daughter of Zion] and shall go forth the Law, and the Word of The Lord from Jerusalem. And He shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.” (Isaiah 2:2-4)

There will be one religion, the worship of the only true God, and “all nations shall come and worship before Thee”:

“And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are Thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are Thy ways, Thou King of saints. Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify Thy Name? For thou only art Holy: for all nations shall come and worship before Thee; for Thy judgments are made manifest.” (Revelation 15:3-4)

May 21, 2011: The Harm That ‘Doomsday’ Will Do

Posted by addisethiopia / አዲስ ኢትዮጵያ on May 17, 2011

By now, we’ve no doubt heard that the “Judgment Day” is coming on May 21. The date was calculated by Harold Camping, the leader of an independent Christian ministry called Family Radio Worldwide, which is based in Oakland, Calif. Camping’s date is based on his interpretation of the Bible.

That’s right; according to Mr. Camping, we’re just days away from the Second Coming of Jesus. May 21 is on a Saturday this year, so he encourages everyone to find Jesus before then. He tells us to go to church, talk to our friends, confide in a priest – do whatever we need to do in order to be saved in the Rapture rather than be left behind by Jesus.

After Judgment Day 2011, Jesus will stay on the Earth until October 21, 2011. The Second coming of Jesus will be glorious for some, and unfortunate for others. The initial loss of loved ones in the Rapture will devastate families, cause destruction, and mass chaos. The Times of The End will make the last 7 years of tribulation that recently culminated with the killing of terrorist Osama Bin Laden, look like paradise. End Times will bring trials and tribulations never before imagined by man.

And on May 22, while those of us who think that the May 21 Christians are crazy will probably be laughing or poking fun or explaining what we believe to be biblical reasons why they shouldn’t have put a date on God’s Judgment, the May 21st kids will be facing their “day of reckoning,” waking up to realize that their parents, pastors, and theologies were wrong. Many of those kids will lose something that day. The questions that many of them will ask will get answered with lies and excuses and bad biblical reasoning. Some of them will be angry with God for not bringing about Judgment Day. Some of them will lose their faith and yet be unable to escape it. And some of them will go on like nothing happened and probably end up setting and believing in another “date.”

And there’s nothing funny about that.

Revolt on the Nile: Religion & Politics

Posted by addisethiopia / አዲስ ኢትዮጵያ on May 14, 2011

The following interesting study can help us understand the never ending cunning path Egypt follows in restricting and manipulating Ethiopia from using, or diverting the waters of the river Nile. For the time being, Egyptian politicians and leaders of the Coptic church will of course be used by Muslim religious elites, as clients or lobbyists, with a long-term strategic agenda to influence the Ethiopian political landscape. The current charm offensive performed by Egyptian parliamentarians and their Prime Minister will certainly be culminated with visits, to Ethiopia, of high-ranking Coptic leaders.

Eric Chaney, Harvard University, February 22, 2011

Can religious leaders use their popular influence to political ends? This paper explores this question using over 700 years of Nile flood data to investigate the extent to which religious leaders derived political influence (defined as monetary transfers from the military) from their control over popular support. In finding evidence consistent with such popularly-derived influence, it provides the first empirical evidence sup-porting the key premise of theories stressing the importance of religion in generating institutional outcomes.

Results show that deviant Nile floods reduced the dismissal probability of Egypt’s highest-ranking religious authority by roughly one-half. Qualitative evidence suggests this decrease reflects an increase in political power stemming from famine-induced surges in the religious authority’s control over popular support. Additional empirical results support this interpretation by linking the observed probability decrease to the number of individuals a religious authority could influence. The paper concludes that the results provide empirical support for theories suggesting religion as a determinant of institutional outcomes.

Recent research suggests that political freedom is correlated with a country’s primary religious affiliation both historically and today. Political rulers seem to have generally satisfied the demands of the religious elites to the extent necessary to prevent rebellion.

Easter Miracle: The Rebirth of an Ethiopian Girl

Posted by addisethiopia / አዲስ ኢትዮጵያ on May 3, 2011

Y eabsra Hailmarim is making bead necklaces, just like any 6-year-old. She is playing with Play-Doh and pushing a doll carriage, concentrating the way kids do.

But this 6-year-old is transformed.

Nearly two weeks ago the Ethiopian girl underwent surgery to correct a severe facial cleft. The results seem like a miracle.

There’s an incision, covered in salve, hidden in her hairline. That’s where her face was delicately folded back, then perfectly replaced. It’s healing well, says Dr. Christopher Forrest, the chief of plastic surgery at the Hospital for Sick Children. Yeabsra has a new nose hidden beneath a splint and bandage, which keeps the swelling down. It’s still sensitive and she doesn’t want anyone touching it.

There’s no external evidence that her skull was cut in four places and put back together. Her eyes are now closer together, as they should be, though still slightly swollen.

Yeabsra, whose Ethiopian doctor first said was 5 years old, hasn’t seen her new, lovely face. She looked in the mirror once, a few days after the April 18 surgery, and was frightened by the bandages. She hasn’t looked since. At bath time, her mother, Aynalem Adugna, covers the mirrors so she can’t see.

She is more subdued now, rapt in her play. She doesn’t throw herself into adult laps the way she used to. If a little time goes by without seeing her mother, she calls for her.

Yeabsra’s nightmares have stopped and she is now sleeping peacefully through the night. Her daughter’s quiet disposition is a little worrisome for Adugna. “I hope that will change.”

Adugna has also been transformed. There is a lightness in her now, a calm where before there was deepest anxiety. She’s staying with Yeabsra in hospital, sleeping on a small bed near her daughter’s. Her red leather-bound prayer book is nearby. On the door some handwritten notes help nurses ask in the Amharic language: “Is she in pain? Is she thirsty?”

The 12 hours was like 12 days for me,” she says, through a translator, of the operation. “I was worried if she would come out of the surgery alive. I asked myself why did I make this decision.”

Members of Toronto’s St. Mary Ethiopian Orthodox Cathedral stayed with her through the long day. That helped distract her.

Surgeons, meanwhile, faced grave issues during surgery.

They operated around Yeabsra’s brain, where they encountered a spike of bone with blood vessels around them. It was extremely delicate work.

It was a thrill, the day she left the intensive care unit and looked up at me with eyes open,” Forrest says. “I could see she was tracking me, she knew who I was and she could count my fingers.” He held up one finger and, on cue, she said, “One.”

That told me her vision was intact,” says Forrest and her responses were “neurologically appropriate.”

Forrest hopes to discharge Yeabsra on Sunday. She’s off antibiotics and her temperature has been normal. “But she’s not entirely out of the woods, there’s still an opportunity for infection.”

He’d like to wait six months before reconstructing the tip of Yeabsra’s nose. She was brought to Canada from Ethiopia with the help of the Toronto-based charity Transforming Faces Worldwide, which helps children with lip and cleft palate get surgery and follow-up treatment. The Herbie Fund at Sick Kids looked after her hospital costs, while doctors waived their fees.

But because the family lives in Addis Ababa, it may be too costly to bring her back for follow-up surgery. If that’s the case, Forrest will likely do the operation in the next three to four weeks.

Yeabsra and her mom will spend the rest of their time in Toronto staying with Jeanne Mott, a woman who volunteered to host them. Ethiopian families who had lined up to accommodate them fell through — flu swept through one family, others lived too far from the hospital.

Transforming Faces has received a few dozen new donors. One donor wrote: “Tell Yeabsra and her family Canadians do care what happens to children in other countries.” Another asked that her donation be used on “something fun,” a visit to the Toronto Zoo, or Build-A-Bear, a craft where children make their own stuffed animals.

The Barbie doll that went with Yeabsra into surgery went missing, but has been replaced by several others, who now sit at the foot her bed.

Yeabsra continues to play contentedly. Over her hospital pajamas, she’s wearing the purple jacket she wore when she arrived in Canada. The jacket has a word on it, one that seems to sum up the present situation: “smile.”

Yeabsra does just that.
